  1. Hey, saw that requests are down so wanted to run this by you. Can I mod the Impact logo? I’m thinking about changing the cities.
  2. <p>AEW is killing it</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> I can’t get through a raw without falling asleep</p>
  3. 2020 is an improvement and will get better once Adam gets his first round of patches out. Mods will take some time but from what I've observed, these mod makers are usually pretty fast and furious when it comes to getting their stuff out. For now I imagine you could at least use the converted R/W data as more of a management tool if you care more about fantasy booking or diaries.
  4. Meh, it's fun to have a few games running where you take on the form of Satan. Plus you can learn some new things when it comes to game play. And I like having some more curve balls thrown at me.
  5. Anything on TLC where it’s a preview for their doctor shows. Like imagine eating your Arby’s and all of a sudden you see someone’s rotten toe nail shooting out pus in every direction.
  6. Go scorched earth. Job out a few uppers and main eventers to them. I’m determined to make Gary the a Entertainer a global attraction.
  7. This will fix some of your UI concerns: http://greydogsoftware.com/forum/showthread.php?t=546505
  8. All these sappy covid commercials

  10. I wonder what kind of wrestling they like in India. Aren't they still fully immersed into kayfabe? If so, send in a few Orange Cassidy types to blow their minds.

I specifically made no other plans. The virus thing isn't exactly providing much alternatives <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/rolleyes.png.4b097f4fbbe99ce5bcd5efbc1b773ed6.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />. It is what it is, but he showered the dev diary with "running smoothly" and "things are looking really good" and he normally never does that, so it made me very positive that the release wouldn't be postponed. And here we are... <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><p> </p><p> I haven't followed all these threads as they fill pretty quickly, but is it really that bad? I've been able to run shows. There were bugs, but they're getting fixed. Nothing gamebreaking if there's a patch the next day.</p><p> </p><p> Is it just the UI? Personally I don't care much for that. I've learned to accept the limitations of these kinds of games. And I hope people aren't expecting some overhaul as I don't think that'll happen. Besides: people already stepped in and fixed the contrast issues with the UI (still can't believe no one in the team had any remarks on it).</p><p> </p><p> But man, two more weeks? That's rough. I'm a patient guy, but as I've got nothing game-wise going on, it's not pleasant.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><p> Nah, it isn't that bad. The UI needs some minor improvements but nothing that breaks the game. I think that most TEW games need an hour to adapt to the new UI, this version might need an extra half. </p><p> </p><p> If you liked the previous game then this one is worth buying. If you're a mod person then be patient as always.</p>

  13. <p>Another thing I like is the range for skills. </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> E.g. Psychology: 62 - 76</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> Adds an RPG feel to the game. </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> Do these ranges vary from game to game, I wonder?</p>
  14. Eh. Not my hill to die on. Overall I enjoy the game, it could use some minor touch ups. I’m not sensitive about the price because hey I enjoy a wrestling sim and there aren’t a whole lot of options to choose from and I feel like this product is on the right path. I have faith in Adams updates and the mod community. I’m gonna go run a rock n roll fed with Jack Bruce
  15. Haha I’m pretty sure there’s more people willing to put time and energy into politics than “what if WCW didn’t ruin Bret Hart”
  16. It’s not a simulator but you people are talking about taking this wrasslin simulator game to Steam. Steam users aren’t gonna get this stuff lol they’ll tear it to pieces even if you add all these customization features. There’s just too much detail demanded by the niche audience
  17. You guys are nuts if you expect him to hit the nail on the head for a super niche game like this. There are areas that can be improved but I doubt that he went into this project thinking that it would be the next Fortnite Lol. Steam, really? Those people aren’t gonna jump into a wrasslin simulator with the detail that we demand.
  18. <p>For the record, booking and roster management is a huge improvement once you get the hang of it. And read up on dude's perception thread if the new push system is throwing you off.</p><p> </p><p> the UI could use some touch ups but overall, this is a worth upgrade lol</p>
  19. I think you gotta look at Adam's intent with the UI. It's not perfect but there are a lot of quality of life features in this version of TEW. I thought using a search bar was dumb but once you've utilized it you get what he's going after.
  20. <p>Heh if you force yourself, the UI makes more sense as you tread through the weeks. I've adapted to it, but it maybe because I've been playing since the 2005 version. </p><p> </p><p> For new players or dudes dedicated to real world data, I can see it being a nightmare. </p><p> </p><p> After doing 2 months of several CV promotions, I've gotten to the point where I can flow through the UI. </p><p> </p><p> IDK, I see the flaws but at the same time, as a regular user, it eventually clicks. </p><p> </p><p> I'll buy it, but I can see why some of the 2016 guys are frustrated.</p><p> </p><p> Adam's got a funny way of hooking the loyals but mehhh I'd be intimidated if I wanted something simple/to the point.</p>
  21. Might wanna wait for that, unless the goal is to torture people with blinding excel sheets lol
