  1. Its been a while since my last post and to be honest I haven't played much recently. Things are going well in my 2002 WCW Lives game. I just ran Spring Stampede (accidentally in Puerto Rico) and although the match ratings and show ratings were a little down on expectations, popularity for the wrestlers themselves have skyrocketed. I won't post the full card due to it being mostly disappointment but my pet projects are all coming along nicely. The biggest shock post-PPV was Rob Van Dam hitting 96 overness US wide! He successfully defended the WCW Title against John Cena, Sting and Kevin Nash. Better yet, the only person who suffered a pop hit was Nash. Cena's popularity is impressive too, he is 90 US wide. I've not given RVD and Cena a 1 on 1 match since they've been this popular, and will probably leave it until Starrcade. They are both still developing so I'm worried that the match itself would get dinged for lack of psychology. Cena is still running his heel rapper gimmick (legendary status right now) and is about to face off with Booker T at Great American Bash for the number 1 contendership. RVD is facing Jeff Jarrett, who surprisingly beat Booker T and DDP for the opportunity (JJ is basically a placeholder for The Big Bang PPV before Great American Bash, unless he does real well). JJ is also sitting at 88 overness now because of his win, much higher than i ever imagined him being, but there we go. I'd still get killed by WWF in a national battle, there is about a 350 point gap. Scott Steiner is currently feuding with brother Rick as a way to keep him from the title picture. I still don't know if he's off the roids and hard drugs so it will be a little while until he is near that again.

He reacted positively and gained morale from it! So i'm really hoping that means he comes back clean. It does mean that the build to the Steiner Brothers match is for nothing and will essentially disappear from TV now. Rey Misterio just went to muscular as well, meaning he now has 80 SQ, up from 69. He's possibly the best worker in the world right now too, except for his psych which is slowly building up (76 at the moment). So he may be in line for a push.</p>

  4. well i found Matt Cross but i can't seem to find the other two. Is it possible they would be under other names? Unfortunately i'm not very great with indy wrestlers around this time. I'm thinking of using Samoa Joe in an enforcer role as the fourth guy. any other guys anyone could recommend if these ones aren't in the data?
  5. I'm currently playing the WCW lives mod as WCW and i'm just into 2002. I'm looking to build up CM Punk as the next big heel and will introduce a stable around him at Sin. I am thinking a straight rip off of Straight Edge Society, just much earlier and (hopefully) better booked and more utilised. I'm looking for idea on who would be the best wrestlers for the two follower roles in this time period. Ideally i'd like it to be two guys i can also book as a tag for a while, but will be useful to get over for WCW in the future. Any ideas?
  6. <p>So I finally booked Starrcade 2001 on the last day of the year, messed it up a bit by not making a match on the card focus on story telling, which is super annoying but regardless, here is how it went. Winners bolded and babyfaces first.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Locker room leaders</strong> © Vs Stasiak & Jindrak for the WCW tag titles. Jindrak is being mentored by DDP so i want to give him a bit of a push, luckily for Stasiak he is along for the ride as part of the tag team (i keep getting guys like Nash and Steiner telling me that Stasiak is no good as well, but oh well). Locker room leaders only just won the belts so I gave them the victory in the opening match of the night. Rating 80</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Diamond Dallas Page</strong> Vs Kanyon. Kanyon was still angry at DDP for costing him the US title in their triple threat match against Shane Douglas at Mayhem, even though Kanyon took the pin and lost it himself. Kanyon refuses to see sense however and took it out on DDP, leading to this match. Rating 79</p><p> </p><p> Dustin Rhodes Vs <strong>Kevin Nash</strong> in an I quit match. If you got to push a guy 7 years over the hill but an ironclad contract, might as well have him go over and make the best of it. Nash and Rhodes had been feuding essentially because i had nothing else for them, but Nash figures somewhat into my plans now in the next couple of months because he has so much control over what i can do. I'm actually hoping WWF come in for him when his contract expires. Rating 83</p><p> </p><p> Shane Helms Vs <strong>Shane Douglas</strong> © for the WCW US Title. Helms made a triumphant return to WCW after the disbanding of the cruiserweight division looking bigger and tougher. He immediately took out Billy Kidman and demanded a shot at Douglas' US title. Douglas laughed off the challenge, claiming that Helms needed to do much more to be worthy of facing him. Helms then defeated Kanyon (thanks to DDP interference) and was then attacked by Douglas. The match therefore was set. Helms is on my NBT list along with CM Punk and John Cena but I don't know how to get him where he needs to be. He will be featuring more now and we'll continue to see how his matches go. Rating 82</p><p> </p><p> Rey Misterio Vs <strong>CM Punk</strong>. Cooldown note on this match, still trying to get Punk over so i protected Misterio and had Punk win. Think i may introduce some sort of stable similar to the Straight Edge Society soon, looking at a few faces I have in developmental. Would like Punk to be somewhat over before though to give everyone the rub. Rating 62</p><p> </p><p> Warrior Vs <strong>John Cena</strong> in loser leaves WCW street fight match. Looking to put Cena into the main event picture with this match. Warrior unfortunately still can't work but Cena is killing it in promos, still a bit behind in matches. He hasn't lost a match in WCW however, something that continued with this match. His next opponent will be Sting and he will take his first loss then. The match itself wasn't great because it was hardcore based rather than brawl based, an oversight on my part. Rating 62</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Rob Van Dam</strong> Vs Lex Luger. a 4 month long feud designed to get RVD also into the main event picture ended here. Lex is in physical decline and can't really work so the right man went over here. Feud was centred around RVD trying to prove himself in WCW as well as defending the honour of his manger Sable, who Luger became increasingly sleazy with. RVD is in for a big future, being involved with Nash and Booker T at the next PPV for the WCW title! I will probably have him win it because i'd rather have a stoner hold the title than someone on steroids. Rating 82</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Sting</strong> Vs Jeff Jarrett. Part of the big feud between Sting & Flair vs Bagwell and Jarrett. Classic story on beloved veterans and cocky heel young guys (i know Jarrett isn't exactly young but whatever!). Feud has been going since May, with everyone benefiting greatly from the hot rivalry. Promises of broken bones, careers being ended and threats from authority figures (Bischoff) has seen use in the feud. Sting however is our number 1 babyface (even over Booker T really) and is extremely important due to his high SQ, and he's not in decline, so he had to go over Jarrett, who may be good in the ring but is not a pivotal player in the company's wellbeing. Rating 81</p><p> </p><p> Ric Flair Vs <strong>Buff Bagwell</strong>. the feud continued straight into the next match. Flair is unfortunately 15 years into decline and can't perform forever now. He cut a promo about this probably being his last Starrcade and I think as an active performer it might be. His basics and Psychology are really useful to teach someone like Bagwell though, and he will continue to put over guys like Cena, Punk, Bagwell and any other upstart until i move him into a manager role. Before any of that though, i'm toying with putting Bischoff in the ring against him, playing off the real life animosity they both have with each other and the increasing role Bischoff has been playing in Flair's affairs recently. rating 78</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Booker T</strong> © Vs Scott Steiner for the WCW World Title. Booker T ended up retaining. I don't like the fact that both of these guys are on steroids because they are so damn good, and valuable to the company but i don't want to trust the belt with them now. They also don't deliver quite as well against each other due to the lack of psychology. Even in a scripted match it got dinged for it. Booker goes on to face Nash and RVD at the next PPV with RVD probably taking it away. Scott will be facing his returning brother, who he put on the shelf in a rage when Booker retained in the triple threat against the brothers. If Scott gets pinged for roids he will be going to rehab, which will be the loss of a big star for almost a year but i can't be dealing with his roids anymore. Rating 85</p><p> </p><p> Overall i'm thoroughly enjoying the game, still worried about WWF if we rise to national but the rebuilding process is well underway. Developmental stars will probably be called up, which will probably include the reintroduction of AJ Styles, the debut of a giant known as the Great Khali with Daivari as manager (yep, i want to see if i can make him passable!) and the inception of the Straight Edge Society, who i am looking for candidates to join, i have in developmental Kevin Steen, Fergal Devitt, Austin Aries, Ken Anderson, Johnny Curtis, James Storm and Cesaro. I'm open to any other signings that anyone could recommend for the stable, provided they would be available in 2002.</p>

Before i get into the card, i want to share my huge concern with going national. Right now, the national battle for me is not looking good if I do make it to national. The Rock and Steve Austin are at the maximum 1,000 for the national battle score, admittedly after that the ratings are similar to what I can pull, so i'm hoping Rock disappears for films permanently and Steve Austin retires soon, but with it being TEW and not real life both probably won't happen. So i'm basically stuck, not able to compete at cult level to snag some of their stars, but the national jump would last 2-3 months tops, despite the fact i'm pulling 80s-90s rated matches in main events. The brothers are promising each other that one of them will take the belt and they will both be champion regardless of who wins, just as long as Booker T doesn't walk out champion. This feud Between Booker and Scott has been going since May (now November) and the plan is for them to have one last match at Starrcade and end the rivalry. Scott will betray his brother in this match and it will cost him however. I don't really have a plan for Rick at this stage, so who knows how long he will last? RVD is progressing nicely up the ranks, a win at Starrcade for him will cement him as number 2 main event babyface if all goes well. This is the most risky match on the card by far. Cena is pushing as a midcarder right now and is around 58 overness in the US. Warrior is at 71 as an occasional wrestler. I'm hoping he stays for Starrcade too so Cena can win then, Cena is on my NBT list and his rapper gimmick is rated legendary. Next Nitro however Steiner again pops for Steroids and the week after so does Booker T! I'm not happy about the main belt being contested by two people who are on steroids at Starrcade but so it goes. I think Steiner wins now and i will transition to Sting, who seems to be the only reliable main eventer who's not juicing right now!</p>

  9. <p>Well i did something silly and accidentally booked my semi-main event for Halloween Havoc ( RVD Vs Luger II) as a one minute match, completely forgetting to allocate it time. as a result, it got a 60, and made RVD look bad because he lost so damn quick. Luckily it was a tainted victory so i'm going to have RVD ruthlessly attack and beat up Luger until their final match but yeah, bad mistake.</p><p> </p><p> Booker T defended successfully against Rick Steiner, with Bischoff banning Scott from ringside during the match. Scott did run in during the celebrations and lay him out though. Bischoff will be booking the handicap match for the WCW Title at Mayhem, with whichever one of the brothers that picked up the pin becoming champion. can they co-exist when one could walk away with the Big Gold Belt and the other nothing?</p><p> </p><p> Bischoff certainly knows how to be controversial (lets hope it creates WCW cash, we've not made a profit in 3 consecutive months now, despite our matches getting better), Flair and Sting managed to successfully defeat Bagwell and Jarrett, but there was tension in both teams during the match with the number one contender match at Mayhem already being announced. With me almost certainly keeping the belt on Booker until after Starrcade (the last Scott Vs Booker match) i now have to find a creative reason on why the number one contender will wait until AFTER Starrcade. Thoughts on that? The number one contender is looking most likely to be Bagwell, but could be Jarrett if anyone can help me out with my booking and prefers him for it.</p><p> </p><p> Nash lost to Dustin Rhodes, who had his own professional career on his mind. Rhodes is playing a similar role to Ziggler in current WWE, but without the belt to go after. He cut promos about feeling like he had hit a roof, that he couldn't make it to World Title contention because people like Nash were still hogging the spotlight and controlling their own destinies (too real). Nash had to be protected and kept strong for the loss, but Rhodes did gain some pop for the win. </p><p> </p><p> overall the show scored a 88 and featured other matches such as DDP Vs Shane Douglas for the US Title, John Cena Vs Ernest Miller, CM Punk's debut PPV match against Rey Misterio and Kanyon defeating Warrior. All of the matches had a storyline, but i mostly like to write to you all about the ones i'm enjoying the most. If anyone is interested in anything, i'm more than happy to write about it. <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> Quick Edit: Flair despite his decline has 100 basics and Psych and man is he passing it on to Jarett during this feud, Jarrett hit 97 basics and 80 psych. Pity he is also on steriods like Scott Steiner and will probably never touch the WCW Title again because of that.</p>
  10. Absolutely crazy booking of such a prestigious belt! I don't know what's worse, losing to Crash or Jannetty...
  11. <p>WWF's booking in the WCW lives mod will always surprise me! No Mercy just rolled around for them, Austin and Rock are both 100 pop everywhere, Rock is the new figurehead. Rock appears only in an angle on the PPV, which okay, could be fair enough, they don't want to waste him on a B level PPV. The main event of the night was for the WWF Title, Eddie Guerrero (whose pop is still around 68 US wide despite beating Steve Austin for the title, then defending against the Big Show and Taker) Vs Christian, whose popularity is only 65 in the US. just to put this in context, all the stars of the Attitude era you associate with being super over are still there. Angle, Rock, Austin, Big Show, Taker, Kane and Jericho are all over 80 pop US wide. Yet they refuse to use them for the most part in the main event, many didn't make the card.</p><p> </p><p> Then we have the biggest head scratcher of all. Triple H, still WWF Intercontinental Champion until No Mercy, still extremely over (87 pop worldwide)lost said IC Title to... Marty Jannetty. Yes, that Jannetty. He is a LOWER midcarder, at 44 overness US wide.... WTF!!</p><p> </p><p> Currently, i'm a week away from Halloween Havoc, Booker T is shaping up to defend against Rick Steiner, and with Scott surely in his corner, Booker has all the odds against him... Nash and Dustin Rhodes are feuding, Nash calling Rhodes a 'waste of time, space and oxygen' and claiming Rhodes has never amounted to anything in the wrestling business. we'll see how that one plays out. Bischoff made his return to running the company, Seemingly a changed man, being fair in his matches, giving opportunities to everyone equally. But something is not right. He made a fatal four way match between Sting, Flair, Bagwell and Jarrett for the Mayhem PPV for the number 1 contendership, and has booked a tag match between the four (sting and Flair Vs Bagwell and Jarrett) at Halloween Havoc. Is Eric trying to sow the seeds of doubt between both sets of teams?</p>
  12. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="Captain2" data-cite="Captain2" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="41174" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>He's doing alright. Whenever I have Nash in a talking segment I can expect it to hit 90 or above. In the ring he's not really impressive but I could say the same for Sting who rarely has a match beyond the 70s. I wouldn't put the world title on Nash though. Booker T and Jeff Jarrett are the only two I'd entertain world title runs for though at the moment. I was considering giving Nash a tag title run but WWF outbid me for Scott Hall so that's not happening.<p> </p><p> And yeah right now my morale screen is a ton of nobodies who are mad I'm not using them. There are going to be deep cuts when some contracts come up in a year or so.</p><p> </p><p> RVD is also in my WCW as the US champion. He's going to hold that belt as long as I can reasonably leave it on him though.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Well i just ran Fall Brawl and decided to put the belt back on Booker T. Steiner popped for roids (of course) on the Nitro before the PPV so he made my mind up for me. Don't really want to have the belt on a guy who pops at a low level testing. He's the most over heel by far though so he might get his chance again soon if he cleans up a bit. The match between them was in a cage to keep Rick Steiner for interfering and it scored an 87 despite me protecting Steiner and getting a lack of psychology note. </p><p> </p><p> RVD beat Luger at Fall Brawl so he's now autopushing main event at 63 overness in most areas but almost in the 80's in the Tri-state area. Cena also made his return just in time for the PPV so I had him return and beat Ernest Miller as planned. I had been running video packages and off screen angles to keep the feud going. He's sitting nicely in the midcard now. </p><p> </p><p> DDP still holds the US title after beating Shane Douglas. Douglas is an interesting one for me, he can work the mic well and he's a decent in ring talent, but his star quality means he'll never be an influence for me in a national battle whenever i get to that level. I guess he'll just sit in that upper midcard heel role until he declines. </p><p> </p><p> Jarrett also beat Flair while Sting defeated Bagwell, so these feuds will continue for a while, with plenty of interchanging in the matches. Flair is slowly losing his pop, down to 72 US wide now, but I am fine with that because he's put over Jarrett and Bagwell now, giving me some more options in the main event.</p><p> </p><p> Nash defeated Palumbo and O'Haire in a match I threw together so Nash was on the card. Nash is actually looking likely to feud with Booker T next, but he will not be winning the WCW Title at all. I am looking to stretch Booker Vs Steiner to Starrcade though, so i have to figure out two more main event matches for Halloween Havoc and Mayhem. I'm thinking Booker T Vs Rick Steiner for one and a handicap match for the other with the title on the line still! Maybe get Bischoff back on TV as the Authority figure trying to screw Booker.</p>
  13. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="Captain2" data-cite="Captain2" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="41174" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>I've found myself in the same position. I'm looking at who I can push to replace the time declining main event while I mostly keep Nash feuding with people in the main event. I like Nash though so I'll keep him until I can get rid of his creative control. Hell even if he retired I'd just stick him on commentary.<p> </p><p> I'm basically keeping WCW in a status quo situation until my developmental territory "The Powerplant" has finished up with my next big stars. Samoa Joe, CM Punk, John Cena, Austin Aries and Ken Anderson are all down there training up to take over.</p><p> </p><p> Also you mentioned hoping to stay at cult, If I remember how the last version of this mod worked I'll try holding myself at cult until a contract for someone I really want from the WWE comes up (Jericho, Guerrero, Christian) and then I'll pop up to national, steal them and fall back down when they beat me in a national battle. Prairie Dogging. Wooo!</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> I actually like Nash too, but he's second one the decline list behind Flair, and it annoys me a bit because Flair is putting over upcoming talent and slowly leaving the main event scene but Nash is going nowhere. How is he doing in main event matches for you? Would you put the World Title on him again? </p><p> </p><p> To be honest the starting roster can deliver pop gains quite easily, I would like to trim some fat and let a lot of lower guys go but I don't want to pay a lot of them out. The biggest two changes as I mentioned in my previous post is definitely Cena and RVD, everything else is pretty much standard WCW, without the stupid bookers (I think?).</p>
  14. <p>Still playing WCW lives, and man oh man, its impossible to job Nash down the card. The guy is 7 years into decline, but is 82 overness US wide, which i though would be great to get younger talent over like Sean O'Haire, Chuck Palumbo, John Cena and RVD. But he won't lose to anyone without being protected because of his creative control, so he never loses any pop at all and theres no way for me to get him out of the main event until his contract expires in 2 years. I am really enjoying the challenge of WCW though, building them back up but trying to reinvigorate their main event scene. I'm somewhat hoping i don't make it to national for a while, but being on such a small network, i think i might be okay. I made Steiner my champion, which in hindsight has bee na bit of mistake because once the feud with Booker T is over, if i don't put the belt back on Booker there's no real options to feud with Steiner after. In the main event on the face side i have Sting, who had the first PPV match with Steiner (not for the belt) because Booker T starts the mod out injured, so i could got back to it but it feels too soon, even though they only had one singles match. I also have DDP, but he is my US champion, Ric Flair, who is 15 years into decline and honestly his matches aren't what they used to be and Dustin Rhodes who is barely autopushing main event with 60 overness in the US and not capable of holding the belt. I'm currently trying to get RVD over in a feud with Luger, and Jarrett and Bagwell are currently feuding with Flair and Sting and neither of them make good babyfaces. So maybe the belt just has to go back to Booker, who has some decent options for feuds on the heel side of things.</p><p> </p><p> Cena's development was coming along nicely, had him beat Jim Duggan twice at PPV's, had him doing his rapper heel gimmick like when he first broke into WWE, and then in a throwaway WCW Nitro match against Ahmed Johnson (who was bought in for one night) he was injured by Johnson and has a slipped disk, putting him out for a month. Not the worst, but he was feuding with Ernest Miller and the PPV was on the following Sunday, so it never made it and the feud is up in the air. he is currently around 40 overness US wide, which is amazing after being at 0 in some locations about 2 months prior. He is going to be exactly what the IWC hated about him in real life, the protected and pushed figurehead once he makes it to the main event and turns.</p>
  15. <p>Taking another break from my USPW game to play WCW lives mod. Didn't actually play this much in 13 but i've actually had a blast with it. WCW are quite the challenge, Booker T is out injured for the first month, Goldberg is un-signable for a year, Hogan is too big for the company and injured anyway and Hall is at NJPW. The challenge is also an ageing main event. For me DDP, Nash and Flair were all 5 or more years (15 in Flairs case) into decline and the other main eventers like Luger, Kanyon, Jarrett, Dustin Rhodes and Buff Bagwell hardly light the world on fire. The only stars i see staying long term are Steiner, Booker T and Sting, the rest could be in for a shock. I will admit that i'm at least trying with Bagwell, i bought back Warrior to have a few PPV matches with him and get him a bit more over. Kanyon is young so i havent written him off either. Quick question for anyone who is playing as WCW, who have you been pushing? I signed RVD and Cena (couldn't resist) and both are being pushed, Van Dam was already popular enough to settle into the upper midcard, Cena is being monster pushed as his Doctor of Thuganomics heel character from hardly any pop. He's currently 35 pop US wide. I'm in June 2001 so i've ran two PPV's, won't break down the rivalries or cards here but it's all going about as you would expect. Cruiserweight division puts on decent matches but bad angles, tag division is okay but a lot of talent i don't really rate, and the main events are good but not WWF level (put on 90's even on RAW if they have the right combo of guys). Overall i'm looking to rise to national and get a bigger network for TV because hardly anyone is seeing the product on FX or Demand for the PPVs. I'd also love to hear what everyone else has been doing, saw a few posts above. <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> Edit: So WWF just ran Vengeance and ended Austin's WWF title reign by having him lose to... Eddie Guerrero! This is in 2001 during the Two Man Power trip angle! Austin is 98 overness and Eddie is 68, what a surprising and weird choice!</p>
  16. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="Crychon" data-cite="Crychon" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="41174" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>I was able to snag a few more Japanese stars during the week, so I'm not too bummed out about it, but it was just so confusing that it happened.<p> </p><p> The only possibility I can think of is the fact that I had Jon Moxley (Ambrose) beat The Rock for one of my world titles, and The Rock has the highest national battle score? I don't know, that's the only thing I did that might explain that.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Is the wrestling industry and economy strong in your game world? They seem to be more likely culprits than that one match, especially if the game said you increased your popularity.</p>
  17. <p>Coming up to wrestlemania 1 in my 1985 game. All the pieces are in place for me to follow the real life card but I think I'm going to put my own slant on it. First off, the main event will be 3v3 to include Cowboy Bob Orton on the heel team and Jimmy Snuka on the face team. I've accepted that I won't be defending the WWF title at the first Wrestlemania which is something that makes me a bit uncomfortable but so be it. Here is the projected card for the other matches. Not in any particular order but babyfaces first.</p><p> </p><p> Andre the Giant Vs Big John Studd. This will signal the end of the feud. With Andre in decline already it's tempting to pur Studd over, he would push well into the 80s Pop US wide if I did, but I also like Andre a lot, should I use my head or heart guys?</p><p> </p><p> Terry Funk Vs Don Muraco. Obviously a match of my own creation, but will bring a stronger wrestling focus to the card. I always liked Funk so I might let him win and have him feud with Valentine for the IC Title post mania.</p><p> </p><p> Junkyard Dog Vs Greg Valentine for IC Title. Valentine is so hot right now, a very good worker, gaining pop I might go against history and let him retain. Valentine vs Funk and Valentine Vs Hart for the belt is too tempting to give JYD a run unfortunately. </p><p> </p><p> The US Express Vs The North-South Connection for tag titles. Great open matches to get the crowd fired up, I may give the belts to US Express finally.</p><p> </p><p> Bob Backlund Vs Randy Savage. Another match of my creation. Feud started when Backlund returned and saw Miss Elizabeth backstage. She was also completely new to the fans and no one knew who she was with. When Backlund asked her for a date (in his crazy, weird way) he was brutally assaulted from behind by Savage. In game terms, Backlund was bought back to get Savage over, I have big plans for Savage, not so much for Backlund. </p><p> </p><p> Unfortunately I have no mania match for Bret Hart, which is a shame because I pushed him and he's now into the upper midcard. He's sitting at 67 pop US wide. I don't know what to do other than have him feud with someone beneath him because there is no one above him that's available to start feuding with. I could have him go against Sheik again, but he's lost a lot of his pop from other matches against Hart.</p>
  18. <p>Took a break from my USPW save to play some 1985 WWF. Kept all the starting stories and bought in a few talents, Terry Funk, Harley Race, Bob Backline and Randy Savage with Miss Elizabeth to name a few. The road to WM is truly underway with Mr T, Hogan and Snuka feuding with Piper, Orton and Orndorff. January's supercard featured Hogan and Snuka going over Orton and Orndorff. I'll be putting Hogan over a lot, just like real life. </p><p> </p><p> Andre is still feuding with Heenan, who has Big John Studd doing his bidding. Andre is in decline already so in the eventual WM match I may have him actually lose and put some governess onto Studd, who could go on to face Hogan while I do the Piper v Andre feud.</p><p> </p><p> The Supercard in January had Terry Funk Vs Harley Race pencilled in but Race injured his spine on the TV before the event and is out for a year. Surgery went badly and added an extra 3 months. He can perform in angles so I might make him a manager. </p><p> </p><p> I'm pushing Bret hard and early, he is going over The Iron Sheik in a rivalry, he will be eventually set up to take the IC title from Greg Valentine, who is currently killing it in his feud with Junkyard Dog and Toto Santana. I was half tempted to put the belt on JYD but I think I'll wait for Bret. Waiting for HBK to debut in the game, so I can start pushing him and Janetty and give them a proper tag title reign. </p><p> </p><p> Overall really enjoying the break from my huge USPW roster and the brand split stuff I have to keep working out etc.</p>
  19. <p>Well I had my biggest card ever in TEW with USPW in 2017 Independence Day Slam, my first ever 100 rated card. Second 100 rated match, first once came literally the day before on the TV main event. Warning now, this card is stacked with talent, I've splurged money and thrown everything in contracts at people. Faces first.</p><p> </p><p> Hernandez and Jameson Vs O'Farraday and Bulldozer for Tag Titles. Heels retained, rating 89.</p><p> </p><p> Joshua Taylor vs John Anderson vs Squeeky McClean Vs Trent Shaffer. Taylor retained, rating 82</p><p> </p><p> Gargantuan won a battle totals for TV title, scoring most eliminations along the way. Rating 82</p><p> </p><p> James Justice Vs Joss Thompson, Justice won to finish the series 2-1. Rating 80</p><p> </p><p> Rick Law vs Enygma, Law won first match between the Allies turned bitter enemies. Rating 89</p><p> </p><p> Steve Frehley Vs Paul Huntingdon, Steve Frehley wins first match here but both men jumped in pop after this match. Rating 95</p><p> </p><p> Greg Black and Robbie Retro vs Caulfield and Ross Henry, Caulfield and Henry won. Cool down match before the real big hitters. Rating 75</p><p> </p><p> Nicky Champion Vs Bryan Vessey Last Man Standing. Champion Wins, Vessey then gets suspended for roids, no matter. Rating 96</p><p> </p><p> Sean Mcfly Vs Jay Chord, Chord wins. Biggest disappointment of the night but McFly is 6 years in decline, and is a special attraction now. Epic match aim might have killed it. Rating 66</p><p> </p><p> Valiant Vs Tommy Cornell for USPW title. Cornells first match here. Absolutely killed it. Hell's Bouncer botched interference caused Valiant to retain. Rating 100.</p><p> </p><p> I also had 3 100 rated angles with pre match interviews and stuff. The McFly- Chord match aside, this card was amazing, so happy with it. As im on my phone I haven't gone into storylines but everything was built up to this PPV except for the battle royale. If anyone has any questions/queries about the card or my save feel free to ask. <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>
  20. <p>I finally came back to my first love SWF. I enjoyed booking USPW (and still will actually) but i had to start an SWF save. More challenging this time around money and talent wise. Ageing main event, Bruce, The Crippler (finally!!!) and Garcia are in decline, Brandon James still can't actually get great match ratings without positive chemistry so not much has changed there. I decided to keep all of the first storylines running for a while. I decided to play with owner goals on and got 2 annoying ones to push Squeeky McClean and Joe Sexy to 77 overness US wide in the next 18 months. Both are past 40 so needless to say i wasnt too impressed with those goals at all. Not really sure what to do with that situation, maybe a tag team? </p><p> </p><p> The other 2 storylines i added were Mikey Lau Vs The Pain Alliance, to get Lau over, (he's my likely next figurehead, because i may skip over Valiant for that job) and Scott is in decline so he can give some of his pop to Lau.</p><p> </p><p> The other storyline is actually becoming a focal point for the promotion going forward. Eric Eisen attacked Jimmy Hernandez on the first show of the year, causing him to lose his match with Joe Sexy. He then taunted him from the ring as he was being helped to the back, telling him he should never be put in the same ring as himself. This continued into the next week with a backstage attack on Hernandez by Khoklov, who debuted with Shane Sneer and the Stable SnEisen Corporation was born. Their goal is to wipe out the so called next generation, laying out Marshall Dillon in the same show. Eisen and Hernandez had a match at the first PPV, it scored 81 which was surprisingly good because i gave it only 14 mins and put it on third. Eisen won thanks to his cronies Sneer and Khoklov, but as they were beating down Hernandez, Skull DeBones cleared the ring. The plan is for DeBones, Dillion and Hernandez to form a loose alliance to beat the corporation, while building overness for both Hernandez and Dillon in matches with DeBones. At some point I plan on bringing in Hollywood Bret Star to become to one acceptable future star, according to Eisen, and run with some 3v3 matches, ultimately building up all the young guys a bit. DeBones only wrestling on PPV isn't too much of a problem because he can feature in angles on TV, so his presence is felt anyway.</p>
  21. I'm in March 2017 as USPW, dominating the Wrestling world in North America. Just signed Valiant, who is 91 pop US wide, and i don't actually have a clear idea on what to do with him. My champion, Jay Chord is currently holding open challenges and beating local guys. The story seems to write itself, that Valiant comes out at the PPV and challenges him then wins. but i have a few problems with that and i hope you guys can give me your input. 1. Do i put the world title on a guy who has just signed for the biggest company in the world and is definitely over enough, despite the fact Jay Chord is a mega heel who is literally putting on the greatest matches in the company? 2. Do i run this feud so early, despite the fact it is something fit for the big PPV in July? Do i hold off because Valiant shouldnt be able to walk in and get a title shot? 3. related to number 1, if i do the match, could Valiant lose his debut match without looking weak? Or would i be doing a Vince by burying outside talent straight away?
  22. Well I've somewhat booked myself into a corner (not for the first time). Coming into Feb 2016 and i don't have a feud going for the World Title! Jay Chord has beaten Champion and James Justice, and i don't want to put them under again. Steve Frehley (my other big babyface) is feuding with Sneer Corp alongside Rick Law and Enygma, so thats those 3 tied up. even in the upper midcard John Anderson has just turned but is feuding with Big Smack Scott and Masked Cougar for the TV title, and Joshua Taylor is feuding with Casey Valentine for the National Title. Chord literally has no one, I'm trying to sign Valiant but SOTBPW are also in the running, and are pulling out all the stops to sign him (as am I). I'm in the process of rehiring Rich Money as a developmental trainer, because he's still toxic but I don't want to be beaten to the punch so he can help out training until i can bring him back up. He lost a decent amount of pop and is only at 75 overness US wide now. So what should i do with Jay Chord? Give him a vacation and keep the belt off TV until some of the other feuds finish? Free someone else up quickly? Feud with a midcarder who realistically has no hope of winning? Any thoughts are appreciated. Also, here is a picture of my roster, if that helps. Maybe not, its tiny!!

If so, you should be looking at a decent show rating anyway, Flair and Hogan could still put out something decent despite the poor chemistry.</p>

And that main event of theirs has good people but why a tag match? Should have been a fatal four way for the title, or split into two singles matches. and the rest of the card is just drab. 25. In this instance I'd let Michaels go, because Bret has all those family relationships with Bulldog, Owen and Niedhart if you bring him back in. Let Shawn go to WCW and tank their backstage even more than it already is. It would be weird but overall it might be worth it. I wouldnt want to lose both though. Did you convert the mod yourself, or is there a dl i can get hold of for it now? I converted it but wasn't happy with a lot of it, it needs a work over from someone with much more patience than I.
