  2. John McClean, PhD? I have an idea for Squeeky McClean as a personality/manager. I'm thinking a heel life coach/therapist/spiritual guru combination who tries to infuse his straight edge approach, plus cheating of course, to help his clients improve/win... His look would be of a college professor type with a sport coat with the elbow patches, scholarly glasses and an umbrella used as a walking cane to aid his balance ,which has suffered (not really) due to his career ending concussion. I think I would rename him John McClean, PhD. Or maybe John McClean, Esquire. Dr. McClean. Thoughts? ideas? additions? tweaks? Also, how should I introduce him? I was thinking he offers his services to SWF in general through a meeting with Jerry Eisen or a vignette where he answers the phone in his study/office and simply says "John McClean, PhD"

  4. SWF Money In The Bank? Royal Ruble? in canon, is there a SWF event that always has a Money in The Bank type stipulation/match? Royal Rumble? Are they called something else?
  5. Nuclear Growth Hormone Davids doesn't do much for me, but I'll definitely consider him, Atom Smasher has the Midas Touch right now so I could exploit that and say that Eric Eisen has access to a "nuclear" growth hormone and he's supplying it to Atom Smasher in return for Smasher doing his dirty work.
  6. I'm still in the planning stage for it all. I feel like Golden would push for a rematch ASAP so I might go with Golden/Crippler again at March PPV and Golden wins but by DQ from Scythe/Pain Alliance interference so Crippler keeps the strap. Which leads to the steel cage match for the 3rd match. I haven't decided when that happens though. I was thinking a handicap match or Valiant and Golden vs Pain Alliance.

Rulings, stipulations etc. Makes it look like Eric has turned over a new leaf and is going to be "by the book". Over time the "fairness" becomes "help" and the help becomes less subtle. Eventually its obvious Eric is trying to keep Rocky on top. Its revealed that Eric wants to make sure the SWF's cash cow continues to print money for the company. Rocky refuses the help which leads Eric to groom another "figurehead". I'd go with Davids (looks the part and is fairly young). <p> </p><p> I'm tired of the corrupt GM trying to screw the faces because she or he doesn't like them. That's not how a real GM would act. Its cartoony, maybe he can laugh maniacally and twirl his mustache while he's at it. His motivation would be to make the most money and accumulate the most power possible. Rocky would be the obvious choice. When Rocky rebuffs him the pride gets hurt and he sees the need to install someone loyal to him. </p><p> </p><p> It would have to be done carefully so the fans don't see this as an in story uber push and react like fans do when they sense someone being pushed down their throat. But it can be done and Rocky can look human and noble through this. Though it work better as a way to turn him heel (he accepts the "anointed hero" role and the help) but that's not going to happen.</p><p> </p><p> And even after Rocky says he doesn't want help Eisen apologizes (new at this, worried, want to succeed) then begins slowly building Davids up. Eventually Eisen stabs Rocky in the back (but still denies it) and gets his corporate icon on top.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> I like this idea a ton. What do you think of Eric choosing Rogue as his "corporate champ"? Rogue and Eisen's characters seem to mesh together well for me, two scheming heels. Or Eric's first choice is Rogue, but when Rogue falters Eric turns to Remo?</p>

The feud with Scythe continues, and Scythe interferes or distracts to cost Golden the belt. Setting up a Casket Match or something of the like in the future.</p><p> </p><p> 2. Eric Eisen, as commissioner, causes Golden to lose. Setting up a weird Austin/McMahon style storyline. I don't like this as much because Rocky doesn't seem like the anti-hero type, but maybe Eric sees Golden as his brother/father's choice as the face of the company and he wants to insert someone else (Crippler? Remo? Davids? Spade?) and builds a stable to keep Golden down until he wins it back at Supreme Challenge.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> 1. I feel Scythe fits very easily considering his recent loss to Golden in January, so I think Scythe will distract, interefere or cause some shenanigans in the PPV match between Crippler/Golden.</p><p> </p><p> 2. I'm definitely wanting to have Eric and Jerry in a power struggle. Eric seems like a character that will always want more and would believe hes a better choice for leading SWF and Emma Chase would definitely be fanning any ambitious flames of Eric to the ultimate degree. It just doesnt click though that Eric would go against Golden for me. So I'm thinking Scythe is involved and also the Pain Alliance attack Golden and later on it would be because they were paid to attack him or they were just trying to get into the spotlight with a feud with Golden.</p>

There's any number of heels on the roster but depends on how you want to do it. Atom Smasher always seems to have a reason to me, Golden is THE hero of SWF, Smasher is a hero gone rogue so to speak. I've talked about it before but always seems like a ready made character to target the big good guys. You could also do someone like Remo, although you'd want to save that for a big PPV most likely. Or you can do a brash young guy like Starr, Spade, Davids etc who thinks Golden will finally give them the attention and respect they deserve. Hope this helps and didn't go too ramblely.</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> I was thinking of having the Pain Alliance attack Golden the night of Hell Freezes Over previous to the match or during Goldens entrance AND having Scythe interfere or distract Golden as well. Then Golden gets his rematch but cant get the title back due to continued Pain Alliance and Scythe interference and then he gets another shot because he agrees that if he doesnt beat Crippler in a cage match he doesnt get any more shots at Cripplers Title.</p><p> </p><p> I originally wanted to have Eric behind everything as a way to seize power from Jerry or assert his control over SWF but it doesnt quite seem like the right course of action for Eric to get the upper hand or complete control of SWF.</p>
  10. Crippler over Golden at Nothing To Lose 2020? I'm looking at my SWF save and somehow Golden promised to put over The Crippler one time, so I'm thinking he does it at February PPV for the World Title before the promise expires. Should it be clean, tainted, interference, or distraction and can you think of someone that would have a reason to help The Crippler or wanna damage Golden? or a good story???

TCWs starting roster size is a lot more manageable so I haven’t felt like a B show is necessary but now with the size jump and the long shortlist of talent I have my eye on, I’m strongly considering it. If only to really build some new teams up to fill that division. I’m not far off splitting Tana and Mo, and with Chandler, chance and Jimmy Foxx all in decline the division is only slowly getting worse. I think that’s my next little project. <p> </p><p> Andrews is still my World champ, I gave Benny Benson a last little run with the TV title, although that’s coming to an end very soon when Syndicate assisted Chris Flynn takes it. Tana and Mo ended the run of shark and titan, but the big lads will most likely win it back at Total Mayhem so I can move Mo up the card and pair Tana with another rookie.</p><p> </p><p> But overall, managed to keep my TV show ratings pretty consistently in the 79-82 range and haven’t had to do much spamming of wolf/Aaron/jay/Sammy (heck, Wolf has been sitting in the mid card feuding with some rising stars for the past month. I’ve had guys like Huggins, Edd Stone, Mighty Mo and Triple D all step up and hang with the top guys.</p><p> </p><p> TCW is great fun, although I haven’t had to deal with any major contract negotiations yet so we see how that goes. But hey, at least we’re making ridiculous amounts of money each month with is super helpful.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> I always start a B show ASAp when I run TCW. I like to give guys wins on the B show if theyre jobbing on the A show(s).</p>
  13. Hot Taggs Did you try to lure Jesse Christian out of retirement? The Hot Taggs might fit really well with SCCW.
  14. What is your product and did you rehire any SCCW originals? Are you in the COTT? Did you get any broadcast deals? What size are you?
  15. 2005 TCW BLZ Bubb and Eddie Peak I'm playing as the booker of TCW in 2005. I just signed Eddie Peak to an exclusive written 10 year deal so he will be in the main event for most if not all of that contract. I also have Tyson Baine(BLZ Bubb). Baine's stamina is in the 30-40 range but just pulled off a 92 rated 8 minute Wild Brawl on TV even though he was visibly tiring at the end. Peak has about 50 stamina and is pulling off high 60s and low 70s in the ring. I'm considering putting them together in a tag team and also adding in The Darkness Warriors or The Demons Of Rage into a stable. What would you do with Baine and Peak? Put them together as a tag team or with other workers or try to build up their stamina as singles wrestlers? I need my main events to be at least 15 minutes and ideally 20 minutes or longer for my product and I want them both to be in the main events for at least the next 2-3 years...

The learning curve for this game is pretty steep....</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> I agree with this statement.</p><p> </p><p> A few things to look at before advancing from the first day(but not a complete list).</p><p> </p><p> Finances- How much money do you have?</p><p> </p><p> Roster - DO you have enough wrestlers? Announcers? Referees? What are there strengths and weaknesses? What kind of contracts do they have and when do they expire?</p><p> </p><p> Product - What does your audience expect? Do you have the workers that suit this product? Do you need to change the product?</p><p> </p><p> Production - Do you have a good enough setup to get the results you want? do you need to upgrade/downgrade? </p><p> </p><p> Events & TV - What events and TV shows are scheduled? Do you want to add or subtract anything? Do you need to get (more) TV deals for your TV shows and/or events?</p><p> </p><p> these are just the first few things that come to mind and the first few questions that come to mind. If I looked at a company like the WWF on the first day it could take me 30 minutes it could take me 10 hours before I advance to the next day.</p><p> </p><p> On the other hand, most companies are already running close to the way they were running in reality so you could make no changes and just start advancing with no changes and you will be okay, so it might be the best idea to make the changes you want and just wing it because you're going to screw up tons of times and thats perfectly fine, thats the best way to learn. If you come to a point where its not fun or its not working the way you tried or wanted all you have to do is start over, no big deal.</p><p> </p><p> So , don't worry too much, just play and learn and then apply what you learn in the next new game. Everybody learned how to play mostly by just playing, and EVERYBODY screwed up MANY, MANY TIMES.</p><p> </p><p> HAVE FUN</p>
  18. I talked Bryan Vessey out of retirement to bring him back into TCW and have him fill the veteran role that Sam Keith did in the original Syndicate. I'm going to have this Syndicate implode in the first year and have Wolf lead a new Stable in the future.
  19. Hmmm...if you want up and comers you could go with Remus and Thomas or Hocking. I'd say T-Bone Bright, but if I remember correctly hes an amazing babyface so he wouldnt really be best used in a heel stable. You could also try out Flynn and Booth as a tag team if they have good chemistry since you're ending Sinner Society.
  20. If you're going to retool The Syndicate you should consider adding Greg Gauge and/or Matthew Keith(when he becomes available) since their father Sam Keith was in the original Syndicate. While you're at it you could also bring Sam Keith back to be part of it as a manager/veteran. Big Bruiser Findlay is another guy I would consider adding to the stable.
  21. Shark is frustrated by The Sinner Societys lack of success and leaves to win more titles/money.
