  1. I would like an option to set a Title to be "owned" by a wrestler, so the wrestler will take the belt wherever he goes. This represents multiple belts in wrestling such as the Big Gold Belt, when Ric Flair brought it to RAW. There could be an Option to "Change Ownership to New Champion", "Original Owner retains Ownership when title changes". This represents the way guys like Dusty would pay a deposit on the Alliance Title - but not reclaim the deposit when dropping it to Flair, intending to re-deposit when he picks the belt back up. So, Dusty retains ownership of the belt while Flair is champion. 1. If a champion signs an exclusive deal or becomes long-term injured, the belt becomes Vacant and goes back to its Original Owner, who does not become champion. If the owner leaves the company, there are two options: A: Return title to company; and B: Title "follows" worker. This means a company might try to sign a worker who owns a belt, with the belt being part of the package. 2. A worker owned belt can be bought by the company. Maybe an attribute that makes a worker unwilling to sell, hard to bargain with, or easy to bargain with.
  2. I would love a "Cash-In" option to represent MITB. Basically, a note telling the AI that "this worker can vacate the title for a title match or title change". This could work by giving us two new options in the Title Menu. Option 1: Cash-In, Default. Default is nothing. Cash-In means "If the worker receives a Title Match against a Linked Title, this belt is vacated in that same segment". This tells the AI basically "how" to use it. Option 2: Link Belt. This lets you link "Money in The Bank" to "World Heavyweight Championship, WWE Championship". 3 Belt limit would be fine. The list would limit you to company-owned belts, and while it would be nice to see this for Alliance Titles, I can also understand if that's not possible. Then, when said star is involved in a match where the "linked" title is on the line, the "cash-in" title is immediately vacated in the same segment. There could also be a random chance where, when there is a Title Match involving the Linked Belt - If the "cash-in champion" is in a storyline with either the champion or challenger, there is a chance the segment will either be booked to include the cash-in (successful or not), OR to have a post-match Cash-In segment (again, successful or not). Is something like this possible?
  3. <p>I have a Money in the Bank question:</p><p> I book the title as "Tournament" and "Title Retained after Victory".</p><p> </p><p> Does the title remain with the champion until the next tournament by default, assuming it's not defended/lost?</p><p> </p><p> I understand I will have to set a booking note to both vacate MITB during the segment or match I "cash in". What will the AI do?</p>
  4. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="01gognaa" data-cite="01gognaa" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="47811" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Anyone know where to find a description of the various worker Styles? I cant seem to find it in handbook? I'm still tinkering with my database, and it's not playable, so I'm not sure if there are descriptions in-game.<p> </p><p> Thanks in advance.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Worker Styles have no in-game effect, similar to "Divisions". It's just a cosmetic thing. It is used by SOME companies - for example, to prevent an MMA company from hiring Luchadors. But for the most part, it's pretty meaningless and has no impact on how they perform in the game. </p><p> </p><p> The descriptions also can (aka, WILL) change in game as a worker faces different needs. A luchador with bad knees might become "entertainer" if they have decent skills for that, or "regular" if they don't.</p><p> </p><p> So if you have themed companies who should avoid or seek certain worker styles, that's when it will matter more. But if you start the workers under contract they will probably just change styles if it's not a good match.</p>

I would like all Mutually Exclusive options to prevent you from selecting both in the first place.</p><p> </p><p> Thanks for letting me know. I was hoping there was some kind of check.</p>
  6. I suggest making Creative and Creative Dynamo mutually exclusive.
  7. 1. Stuff your roster with several guys in the editor with "White Hot" momentum. They have ONE job - "Major Defeat" in angles. Put them in storyline "unaligned" or "side 4", and stick them in, rated on "something" they're not awful at, and "Major Defeat". Worry about momentum first - when you have momentum, popularity will come by itself. 2. Give EVERYONE a skill that can be rated in angles at about 80+. Fighting requires either Brawling/Puro/Hardcore. Entertainment requires Charisma (but Mic Skills determine how long they can "go"). So, make sure everyone is rated 80 at something if they don't have enough popularity. But even if they're rated 100 in everything, having 70 popularity will contribute to 75 rated angles. 3. Charisma/Star Power, Menace can only go on for 4 minutes. They are worthless and should rarely be used, except in "minor angles". Don't use them. This isn't TEW2016 where you can rate people on Menace or Entertainment and have The Rock or The Undertaker carry a 10-15 minute segment alone. They will NEED someone like Shawn Michaels to "sell, major defeat" in the same storyline while Undertaker gets "major win" and either "entertainment, fighting, selling". Also - all angles rate on popularity MUCH higher than anything else. 4. "Not enough action in angle". Meaning, you need someone rated on fighting, selling, entertainment - something that "includes action". Also it's better if you can find a way to include folks in the same storyline using "Success" and "Defeat". I like to use a 5 person storyline with 4 "Major Success" and one "Defeat" to get momentum going. Once you have momentum going, popularity is easy. When you're not gaining pop, momentum might be the foul. You can use a storyline with 5 winners and one loser - as long as they're all in the same storylines, it will work. And if it's a hot angle anyway, you can even stick in a few folks from other storylines to pass them some heat, too. I have a few other tricks, but I fear saying them would cause them to be "fixed" (nerfed) and I don't want "a hard, competitive game", so saying too much would sabotage myself. Get momentum up first. Once you have momentum, popularity will come. Tip: It's only a matter of time before the Voice Of... and Agent Of... attributes are made Mutually Exclusive. Make your road agents with names like RA Hardcore, RA Sleaze, RA Comedy, RA Old School - so you don't forget who's good at what. Do the same with commentators. Colour Epics, Announcer Stories - these are crap names, yes, but they're also perfect names for reminding you which Road Agent and Announce/Color team are to be used for the match aim in question. It's worth using the editor to give yourself an army of announcers, commentators, and road agents with each specializing in ONE thing. For now, you can make your color/announce/agents have "everything", but I think it will be nerfed, so better to be ready. Also, don't forget to set all your "good" chemistry. You will still have bad performances out of announce/road agents, so don't worry about getting "too much benefit/unbalance" of using 100 ratings on Reputation/Respect/Psychology/Experience. Also, go into your database, figure out who you want for your rivalries - and set their chemistry to "good". The "Great" setting should probably only be used for situations like JR/King 1996 announce, or Goldberg/Lesnar or something. That said, even if you set everything perfect and great chemistry, there's still Natural Growth limits, and angles rating on Popularity as the most important factor - no matter what. The best you can do is understand which of your roster are "reliable" for what role in an angle, and that's their "angle job" every week. You want to move everyone who will ever be used in angles toward either Selling, Brawling, or Microphone and Charisma with Star Power 78 or above. Then just rate them the same thing in every angle they ever appear in.
  8. Comedy, Spectacle, Epic, and Technical - for me, anyway - perform best when I use "Calm the crowd" then a hot angle first.
  9. Can't you send her to NXT then use the thing that lets you call up a developmental worker for one match? Edit: While I am here. Is there a way to sign a "developmental contract"? So far I've had to sign them directly, then send them. I fear this will cause "I am in development!" complaints, and often I am signing someone for a child company, intending on them working there for a while.
  10. Pre-Booking questions. 1. Will I be penalized if I add a pre-booked segment for Weekly TV and hold it for next week? 2. Is there a way to pre-book something for "next week" instead of this week, regarding weekly TV or weekly events?
  11. Do the owners have positive or negative relationship? Do the companies have broadcasting in each other's game area? In the company relationships, what are their "views" of each other? What are the owners "Business" set to? These kind of things seem to effect whether they view you as competition, or if it's worth it to send them to you. Owners who keep excursions are the ones that are open and friendly. So if an owner is not open/friendly, they will end the deals.
  12. Is there a way to end an individual wrestler's excursion? I decided to accept excursions from a few places and unfortunately, they decided to send me some dorks with really bad personality traits. Is this just part of how the game "gets you one"? Is there a way to get rid of such a pest worker? I haven't had any backstage incidents yet, just the morale penalties and locker room negatives.
  13. I usually start with a main event angle that leads to the last match of the night, sometimes with a follow through angle in between - someone getting attacked, looking for a friend or partner, etc. I follow it with a "Steal the Show" match, then "calm the crowd" or "comedy" as both seem to have a similar effect.
  14. <p>1. The things that upset you are things you can fix by editing the database of the mod you're using. Apparently the mod maker and you have different ideas. I had to fix AEW, Impact, and Broadcasters/Deals across the board to make one playable.</p><p> </p><p> 2. The things you "should" be mad about are clunkiness and lack of QoL such as not being able to use the mouse wheel to scroll when using the In-Game Manual, or in many of the screens, including in the "Toggle Roster".</p><p> </p><p> 3. I do agree with you that it was a very bad turn that, in Dungeons and Dragons terms, feels like "Game Master vs Player", regarding "making the game harder". It feels like those great single player games that get ruined when they're re-oriented toward multiplayer, with a sleugh of "balance changes" (nerfing everything, ending various playstyles, and keeping the heavy focus on "challenge" and "make it harder").</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> This game is still very early in development, so I am being patient. The things that bother me are QoL issues and when they come up, I run to the suggestions forums. I probably irritated the devs, so I've stopped for a while. I also know that they can't be expected to "fix everything" over the course of a few patches. But what I am seeing with each patch, and saw in TEW2016 and TEW2013 as well, is that the dev is committed to its success and has a lot of pride toward the product. The main issue I had was restrictive products - and next thing I knew, there's like 15 more products, and the No-Style Style is no truly an open style. I also don't believe any of my posts caused that, rather I believe the dev has a LOT of ideas, and is engaging a marathon, not a race.</p><p> </p><p> So, I will be on board for the marathon like I was in TEW2016.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Lastly - </strong>you can turn almost all of the things off you dislike in Preferences or Options, and have the sandbox you want. I mostly play as intended except I use "soft caps" on natural growth instead of "hard caps" and removed pre-booking because I can't click-drag the pre-bookings onto the main booking screen. In your case, I believe "Natural Growth" caps are the reason for your lower scores, which limit segments to company size range, to prevent a "Small" size company from booming up to "Big" within 5 cards of a 100 rated main event. Turn off the natural growth. And maybe check the database to ensure the stats of the wrestlers is what you believe they should be?</p>
  15. I would like to see the auto booker start with Pre-Bookings, then look at the storylines.
  16. So, I booked a match "2 v 2 v 2" and realized I have to either fully memorize my pre-booking, or I have to click to 2-3 different places to view the pre-booking's details, then back to the main booking screen. This is tedius. Why can't I just click/drag pre-booked segments onto the show? It's too much work. I liked the idea of it, but I had to go back to turning it off forever, because it doubles my workload. First, I have to do the work in pre-booker screen, then AGAIN in the main game screen. I think we should have a button "Add all pre-booked segments for this show".
  17. I dislike that I can not use the mouse wheel on "toggle list", and in most other places with a lot of items. I just feel like modern software should behave modernly. Or something like that. I would like to be able to have the lists roll up/down when I click/drag the scroll bars. For example, when scrolling through the wrestler list I don't like that it stays "stuck" where it is until I let go of the "click and drag".
  18. Except, it's someone without any attribute benefit who will also never get an attribute penalty - which is the point. A "tweener" should be able to be built in a way they won't ever, EVER gain the attributes that make them "can't be face/heel". This penalty, if built as a mutually exclusive third option is a tradeoff. You won't ever get the things that give you 100% face/heel, or better face/heel. Because the point of a Tweener is that they're equally good at both. It might be "too powerful" to give a small bonus to both without a penalty, so the "bonus" is this - "you will never get a penalty for being face/heel, or restricted to face/heel usage in any way." That's the "bonus". And I would love that bonus on a few folks.
  19. Some rerenders are very close - there's a Big Scott Smack and a Zeus Maximilian that looks like Scott Steiner, etc. Many of the alts and rerenders are VERY close. Aaesamon (whatever his name is) also has a pack of WWF wrestlers cut from some of the video games.
  20. In the mass edit, you should be able to pick each worker pic becomes their name .gif - there might be some cases where a pic or worker is not name matched - in KTB, for example, Fenix uses that odd Spanish "e" with the symbol above it. So as long as the worker name and file name are the same, then that should work.
  21. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="James Casey" data-cite="James Casey" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="47568" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Major success: Andre turns on Hogan, Austin/Tyson pull apart, Mankind's backstage interviews with JR (cumulatively, at least), Hogan allies with the Outsiders<p> </p><p> Success: Mick Foley debuts Mr Socko, Rock's 'Fruity Pebbles' promo on Cena</p><p> </p><p> Minor success/defeat: Typical post-match attack/promo</p><p> </p><p> Defeat: Billy Gunn praying to God (saved from a major defeat as he wasn't on-screen), Booker T in the supermarket brawl with Austin</p><p> </p><p> Major defeat: Earthquake destroying Hulk Hogan, DX packing the Spirit Squad off to OVW</p><p> </p><p> I don't believe that success/defeat should necessarily be balanced in a segment; Hogan didn't lose anything near as much as Andre gained in their segment, for example, and <em>no-one</em> lost anything in the Austin/Tyson segment. Equally, Earthquake annihilated Hogan and put him on the shelf for months, but didn't become a massive star off the back of that. </p><p> </p><p> Still, balance should be considered - a typical promo probably will be a minor gain for the winner, and a minor loss for the loser. That's not always the case; You can have a couple of promo masters who'll both benefit more from the interaction than they'll lose from getting chewed out, so both might get minor successes from that.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> My experience is that if you don't have "Defeat" at minimum (Minor Defeat not good enough?) then you won't get world class ratings. </p><p> </p><p> So, in TEW2020, Andre turning heel on Hogan was a 60-70 segment as there's no in-storyline jobber to take the "defeat".</p>
  22. <p>This. I would love to reduce the number of clicks in-out.</p><p> </p><p> Or, use that space for shortcuts so we can at least reduce the number of times we have to click and scroll through the list. Maybe a customizable row, like we have in-game for the bottom tab.</p><p> </p><p> I have about 3-5 things at a time I need to always see and am shifting between. Lately, it's been Title Histories, Job Histories, etc.</p>
  23. I would like a contract option "May not sign Exclusive Deals" to permit workers to both work for other companies, while also denying other companies the ability to poach you. The only other method to come close is setting True Born Loyalty, Loyalty Attribute, and finagle the relationships between the worker in question.
  24. <p>I agree that even "Tiny" broadcasters are OP, and that just running a weekly event can simulate "being a TV show", especially in home. </p><p> </p><p> I toned TNT down to "Medium" size and adjusted USA to "Big" size. I made all Youtube owned by Alphabet and all Vimeo owned by "Vimeo". I edited ALL broadcaster contracts with "tiny" broadcasters like Vimeo and Youtube to give 0% money to company. AEW will still grow. </p><p> </p><p> I turned on "Loyalty" and set: Kenny Omega, Cody, Matt and Nick Jackson, Tony Kahn, Brandi Rhodes, and Pharaoh to have "True Born" loyalty to AEW, and gave the Loyalty attribute, so that WWE/Impact is less likely to jump in sweeping guys who aren't in exclusive contracts. It won't actually block WWE from signing Kenny Omega to an exclusive deal, and my fear is that it's right around the corner.</p><p> </p><p> Then again, there's no contract option for "May not sign Exclusive Deals with other companies". Or I would just use that instead of all these attributes, which feels OP and inauthentic.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> In absence of the contract option, I think taking advantage of the True Born loyalty system can allow a few guys to be guaranteed to stick with Impact, ROH, NJPW, AEW, CMLL, MLW, and AAA without an exclusive contract.</p>
