  1. Be a Japanese based company lol. Outside of those companies, I think there is a possibility through event praises, but I have done those for a long time with no success. For the Japanese companies, I believe they have to be Young Lions. Or go into the editor and change the option that turns on worker loyalty in every region and it will replicate the Japanese scene. It's under the Game World tab then area set up

Thanks, I've never done that, I'll see what happens.

  2. <p>I got some to give you a challenge...</p><p> </p><p>

Keep it Simple: No TV shows over 1 hour for 5 years, only 5 PPV's per year.</p><p> </p><p>

Talent rises to the top: The Malenko's must be 25% toward Hall of Immortals in 4 years</p><p> </p><p>

Longevity leads to Legend: The Undertaker must never lose the TV Championship.</p><p> </p><p>

What should have been: Within 3 years, Bret Hart must take the WWF Championship from Hulk Hogan.</p><p> </p><p>

The Reign is over: No poaching talent from promotions regional or above for the next two years.</p><p> </p><p>

Double the Money: A Tag Team Championship must main event one of your PPV's within the next 6 months.</p><p> </p><p>

Women's Evolution: A Women's only TV show must be created within one year.</p>

  3. I think the above posts are spot on but I want to add how I think of those notes. Keep strong is a good note to use when you have someone losing and you don't want to deflate their popularity. So logically a good way to add to that would be have a finish that isn't "clean", tainted by cheating or interference, or d/q count out or draw. You can do it it with a decisive finish as well but I think a real life example of keep strong would be Goldberg vs Kevin Nash at Starrcade or Lesnar vs Bryan from Survivor Series for a clean example.

Protect is good for a worker who has poor stats, an injury, is in decline or whom you want to lose a little overness as possible. I think a good example of this would be Triple H vs Sting from Wrestlemania. Sting's offense was highlighted but basic and took a loss but still looked good.

Like if someone is rated A* but the match only gets a B (due to time, say) which value is used to determine the effect on the popularity?</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Both but more the match rating I think.</p><p> </p><p> Example, squashes when done right may have a mediocre rating but the winner will get a boost based on his performance.</p>

Raided ECW so I could have a functioning midcard - Storm, Lynn, Douglas, the Dudleyz and Mike Awesome will help flesh out the midcard while I try to elevate the likes of Benoit, Guerrero and Jericho towards the main event.<p> </p><p> I generally run with a product that rates equally between pop and performance so the top of the card is a little lacklustre in the workrate department. Plenty of over guys (Sting, Hogan, Goldberg, Hall, Nash, Giant) but none that will put out a MOTYC in a Main Event. Realistically I should be building around Goldberg but his actual matches don't rate great so I may give him a short run with the title before building the main event scene around Bret Hart, Benoit, Jericho and others who can elevate the main event match ratings.</p><p> </p><p> I made Piper my on-screen authority figure and he immediately quit the company, haha. I hastily hired Sid Vicious (who is working as Bischoff and Hogan's muscle) and had him destroy Piper repeatedly on the way out.</p><p> </p><p> Ric Flair is out for 4 months due to "legal reasons". I think that puts him back in time for WW3. Currently the plan is to have his "surprise return" in that event - he'll win, go on to Main Event Starrcade against Goldberg and possibly turn heel to end the streak.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> I often play WCW mods and with Goldberg you want to get him to that level he never got the chance to get to. So one trick is to find someone who he has great chemistry with that also has high stats and have them in a long program with a lot of dark matches so you can raise his stats faster. Also you can get quality ratings from him as long as his opponent has high charisma, selling and psychology.</p>
  6. I just played for maybe two weeks real time off administrator mode on accident and lost over 3 months of game time <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/mad.png.69834f23b9a8bf290d98375f56f1c794.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/mad.png.69834f23b9a8bf290d98375f56f1c794.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/mad.png.69834f23b9a8bf290d98375f56f1c794.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />
  7. Do any logo makers have it in them to draft a new WCW logo? All companies logo's (for the most part) change over time... I'm in need of straight up new design for WCW. The most updated I can find is the WWE/WCW logo that they used after the buyout. Lets say WCW never was bought, what would the company logo look like? Anyone got something that's been made by someone else (I haven't found anything) or want to give it a try?

I did get a really cool graphic a few pages back when I had requested a specific idea I had in mind. The idea was a globe being strangled by a WCW World Heavyweight Championship. And it was a really cool logo, but the WCW text was an old copy of the logo they used in the mid 90's.

I feel like I can't be the only one who has been looking for this!

  8. Flashpoint is an amazing save. I can't wait for the 2002 version to come out.

I felt that WCW was running a bit dated, so I made some new titles and show logos freshened it up a bit. If anyone wants to use them feel free. I did not make the logos. I just found them and thought they looked good.

I'm still looking for a base women's championship to work with.

The majority of the event names came from here.

AWESOME. You have no idea how good those graphics fit for another game I'm playing.

I never thought someone would actually try that! Thank you!</p>
  10. I've been playing a WCW Fuscient Media buyout that has been chugging away for nearly 10 years! It's 2010 and I need a fresh logo and if possible a banner version of the logo as well...

I would like a totally different take from the late 90's WCW logo's. Perhaps something more like All Japan or New Japan. I could see a cool retro graphic with a globe being squeezed by the big gold belt. Or even something along the lines of what Impact/TNA as done the last few years. I think an a fantasy WCW logo will also be useful to others as well!

  11. Hello guys, i hope your all good, im currently playing the montreal aftermath mod and ive taken over WCW im a month in and just booked the Starrcade PPV. the backstsge rating is at 0% which is realistic but i want to know how do I improve it is it just a case of firing the negative influences is there anything else I can do?

Check your backstage rules, play around with them and you will see some increases. But if you want to survive you will need to cut some of the negative influences for sure. There is no way to succeed with a locker room like that.

That's what I figured for the main event. Do you know what triggers it during middle of the card matches. The Orton/Steamboat match for example was the 3rd of 6 matches on my A show.</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Funny you say that because I suffered from this exact thing just after I responded to you yesterday. I think it's because one or more of the workers in the match is and upper midcarder or main eventer. I had a match in 2004 with Sean Waltman (very solid stats) vs Christopher Daniels (really great stats) and they both scored in the low to mid 90's but the match got that story line note and scored 76. I think they were both upper mid carders at the time.</p>

I know what triggers it when the two workers are in a storyline (ie. I am not getting the storyline enough heat). However, i get a match penalty in the dirt sheet that reads "the segment was penalized due to a lack of an associated storyline" and the workers involved in the match are not in a storyline. I notice it happens a lot in the main event when the workers aren't involved in a storyline together. Last night I got it in a midcard match playing the Golden Era mod. Steamboat and Bob Orton wrestled. Steamboat is in a storyline with Savage and Orton is not in a storyline. Savage was not involved in the match or segment. When looking at the results Steamboat got a 94 match rating and Orton I believe an 81. The match only scored a 72 so I checked the dirtsheet to see where the penalties occurred and the match got the "the segment was penalized due to a lack of an associated storyline"<p> After running another card I realized I was using the wrong word: It is lack of "associated storyline", not "hot storyline"</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> If you are running an entertainment or traditional focus then you in each main event you must progress a storyline. So if you have Wrestle A feuding with Wrestle B. But on an event or TV show book Wrestle A to or face Wrestling B, with no interference, distraction, guest ref or commentator, then you will incur the lack of associated story line penalty. To get around this I use the distraction note that doesn't affect the outcome of the match. Just imagine it's wrestle B coming to ringside to watch or something.</p>

I have a lot of great talent working on RAW but I'm getting penalized because I'm having a difficult time cooling the crowd properly. I mean, shouldn't the point be to have an acclaimed 2 hour show each time out ? I remember lots of times during the Attitude Era where RAW was hot from start to finish. <p> </p><p> How do I resolve this? Should I be sending some of my upper midcarders and main eventers to child companies or on vacation, etc. ?</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> You need to use the match aims. There are countles threads on this in the forum and posts about it in this thread.</p><p> </p><p> Basically, no the answer is not to have a show be a perfect 10 all the way through. It's not realistic. Some general rules to avoid this...</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> Never run back to back matches that are similar. You can still get two 100 ratings by doing one match with a slow build and then the next all out. But never follow an all out with a wild brawl or high spots car crash etc...</p><p> </p><p> You can also use calm the crowd to basically have a shit match. This is most effective before your main event, if you intend to use the match aim of spectacular, epic, or once in a lifetime. Also before technical masterclass, but that doesn't seem to make a good main event for me usually. But that's because of my product settings.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> You can turn off perfect show theory by going to user settings and turning off crowd management. Then you can run the show the way you want without the obstacle.</p>
