1. I imagine that in a negotiating room somewhere in Brussels, there's a map of Europe that looks not dissimilar to this one.

I know that this isn't ideal for every era (could be era specific like PPV or the website design?), and I wouldn't want the game to become Total Extreme Social Media Executive 2020, but these would be ignorable features.

I haven't really thought through what the gameplay impact of this would be, or how it should be balanced, but I like anything that gives more options in terms of company distribution and content release models. Increasingly, wrestling creative is expanding beyond just TV shows and big events. Even the concept of a cohesive show is no longer the only way to distribute wrestling content. The future of wrestling (trust me, I had my palms read) seems like it will include far more varied content release practices. I'd love to see this reflected in game.

Anyway, maybe I'm straying away from wrestling booking and into corporate/management/marketing practices. I don't really know where to draw the line in this regard.

Sorry, this wasn't really a reaction to the beta. As you were.

 3. Currently, when searching for a worker, you are able to filter by "Shortlisted - Yes" or "Shortlisted - Any". I would find it really helpful to be able to filter out workers already on my shortlist. Nothing much to add to that. Thanks, and keep up the good work.
 4. Hello all, I was just wondering if anyone has worked out the best order to import worker/companies/moves/titles/etc. into another database? For example, if I have created a company, along with workers, their movesets, titles, chemistry, broadcasting deals, schedule and so on, in one database - is there an established order in which I should import everything to add to a different database? At the moment, I'm trying to work it out as I go along, but seem to miss something every time. Any pointers in the right direction would be massively appreciated, please. Thanks.
 5. Hey dude. Looks really interesting. I've never actually watched TEW on Youtube before, but I'll definitely give it a go when I get the chance!

It's not really a concern for me. I only mean't it like an example of why I liked 2016 more. I could organize the push how I wanted. I could label him as a main eventer at all times. It was more of me being able to set him how I wanted. I know in reality, I can push him to become a main eventer/major star, but in the meantime, he is realistically just an opener/unrecognizable. My main point about pushes is the occasional thing, again, more about organizing, not the system itself. Because what's the point of "occasional wrestler" is kind of gone now in an organizational standpoint.

You mentioning an organizational standpoint has definitely resonated with me. I'm still at a point where I'm undecided on TEW 2020. I am optimistic for the upcoming design changes, and definitely think that there are some good new features, but the game hasn't clicked for me yet. I think a lot of that is about the fact that my old ways of organising things in my head no longer match the organisation/processes of the game.

Now, this tends to happen to me once per year when Football Manager comes out. I dislike the UI or some change that has been made when I first play the game, then after getting used to it, I stop caring or even like the feature that I instinctively disliked. A lot of that is a result of me wanting improvements - which fundamentally change the game - and then wanting to be able to play the game in my head as if it was the old one (just magically better, without any knock on effects for the bits that I'm used to).

There have been some games that really grow on me, once I get my head around how they are played/organised, that I took quite strongly against in advance. I love Football Manager, but I tend to hate it for a few days every year. Then again, some games that I expect to love never grow on me.

I guess what I'm trying to say is - I can't really commit to a viewpoint on the game at the moment - because I don't think I've got me head around it organisationally yet.

Maybe I will "get it" very soon. Maybe I won't. That being said, take anything I say with a whole bucket of salt, because I bet my opinions on nearly everything will change a hell of a lot over the coming weeks.

 7. Just wanted to thanks everyone posting such great renders. I've been really loving the work that the artists in this community produce, and they add so much to my games. I would post in this thread to say thank you more often, but if I did so every time I loved a render, this thread would mainly just be me thanking people. To summarise: thanks. You're all amazing!
 8. Great work! I'm going to be using all of these. So good.

 10. Love these buddy! Great work! A really nice and consistent set.
 11.

+1 from me.

Good suggestion!

 12. I think it might be interesting to build upon the current backstage rules and drug policies, to create something a bit broader. Firstly, with regards to drug testing, I would like to be able to select not only the extent to which I test (Low, Medium, etc.), but also the company policy regarding punishments. For example, I would like to be able to put in place a policy that states that the first two times a worker violates the wellness policy, they are suspended for a month. Then the third violation results in a termination of the worker's contract. The severity of this wellness policy could impact backstage morale - or even which workers wanted to sign with the company - but on the positive side could lessen negative reactions to decisions which are in keeping with the wider policy. You could also receive very negative responses if being too harsh or lenient compared to the rules that you set. Similarly, I would like to be able to control my backstage rules a bit more. This could include policies on physical altercations (e.g. = immediate suspension, fine, or firing), etc. Comparably to with the wellness policy suggestion above, you might be more likely to receive a positive reaction when upholding the stated rules, but would receive more negative reactions when failing to uphold them. You might even see "Free Spirits" (or similar personality types) becoming increasingly unhappy in environments with strict rules, or be reluctant to sign for such companies. I think that it would be interesting to see the company that a worker is in impact their expectations of discipline. If a company has been run like the wild west for years, and the workers haven't signed up with any particular rules stated, it would be natural for some of them to react more negatively to the imposition of stricter discipline. On the other hand, if a company has a clearly defined policy, it should be less likely (though not impossible) that a worker reacts angrily to a punishment that they fully understood would result from their actions. This could add a little more weight to those situations where you have to decide between upholding the rules and upsetting one of your stars, or flouting the rules and risking upsetting others in the locker room. In addition to allowing for more unique flavour. Which companies take a "boys will be boys" (sorry, I hate the expression too, but it fits) approach to backstage incidents, and which expect more of a corporate environment could feel much more in depth. This suggestion is very much at the formative stage, so I would love to get other players' input.
 13. Brilliant suggestion! It could really help to differentiate segments, and make them feel like different things (because they are different things). The "Money Line" suggestion could be really fun. I sometimes worry that under the current system, angles can start to feel a bit same-y. Unless their popularity or skills are fluctuating wildly, individual performers will often end up getting very similar outcomes from a wide range of angles. A feature which reflects those small "lighting in a bottle" moments, would be fantastic. This could really make the world feel more interconnected - as something might not just be a good promo, it could be a good promo with a really tangible consequence.
 14. Sounds like a fun idea. If it was in the game, I reckon I'd use it. The more options we have to make our companies feel unique, the better.
 15. I wonder if an "and/or" filter might be added, so that when you are searching by skill, you could search for "60 Brawling" or "60 Technical", for example. Sometimes I'm just looking for a wrestler with a "good look", and I don't really mind if it's SQ or Menace. On other occasions, I want someone with good top row stats, but I don't really mind if they're a technician or a brawler. Being able to reflect this in a single search would be really helpful.
 16. I think that the problem with this would be preventing real dojo graduates being linked to the correct promotion by first refusal in historical mods. For me, the best solution at current, is to remove the free pictures for in ring wrestlers and set the picture requirement to be on. That way, you won't have any generated wrestlers, and you will still have the ability to have dojos in the world for real life graduates. You also have the option here as to whether you want to remove free pictures for generated referees, non-wrestler, etc. You can then just add the free pictures back (or turn off the picture requirement), should you ever get to a point in the future of a save at which you want generated workers to start appearing again. I do understand that some players will be annoyed by having to workaround the system - even if it only takes a few seconds - when they could previously do so with a simple option. It's not something that bothers me at all, but I do see why it might frustrate others.
 17.

I want Free Pictures available in case I reach 2022 and decide I would now like to let NewGens start appearing.

I know it's a workaround, and may not be perfect for you but - just in case you don't get the solution you want - you can always just add the free pictures back when you get to a date that you want generated workers to start appearing. Should only take a few seconds, but I understand that those are seconds that you might want to spend on something else.

However, I do agree that it seems like it would be useful to have the ability to simply turn it off/on with a click, rather than having to find a workaround to achieve the exact same effect. It isn't something that I would use, but I absolutely understand why other players would want to. It does seem jarring to lose an option that was present and useful in the previous game.

 18. I thought that performance centers have a "much higher" chance of generating multi sport athletes, but other dojos/schools can do so too.
 19. Sorry if I've missed anything above, but what I do is set the "Picture Requirement" to "On", so that workers won't appear without a free picture. Then move the free photos that are available for in ring workers to a different folder, so that the game won't generate in ring wrestlers. It can still generate announcers/refs/etc. to balance the game - because I left those pictures - but doesn't seem to be generating any new wrestlers in any of the databases that I have tried with. The reasons that I leave the staff to be able to generate are: 1) I'm too lazy to actually make balanced databases, I wouldn't need to if I was doing a detailed job rather than just getting stuff ok enough to play. 2) I can't honestly say that I know the name of every ref or broadcaster who ever worked a few dates, so it doesn't impact my immersion at all to have a few of them appear. If it weren't for these two things, I would turn them off as well. I'm sure my solution won't work for everyone, but hopefully it does for someone.
 20. Glad to know I'm not the only one. Actually, not glad, but...you know. I managed to recover most of what I lost because I'd recently started a tester save - which I could then convert back to a database - but still lost a few hours work.
 21. These look amazing. Thanks very much for the great work.
 22. Both suggestions are absolutely great. Brilliant work. Grouping the skills like that is probably my biggest wish for the game.
 23. I would absolutely love something like that! Genuinely, that's the aspect of the UI that I most want altered. I loved the new screens posted yesterday. That being said, grouping the skills would be such a huge upgrade for me.
