  1. _____________________________________ Backstage _____________________________________ Another month with no issues, although I would like to address one thing. I definitely forgot I had pre-booked Smokers & Suplexes vs Wild Youth last month, but I had forgotten about that by the time we planned the show and no one chose to speak up. Hence Wild Youth not making it, but I plan to use that as a storyline prompt down the line now.
  2. _____________________________________ Sydney's Finest _____________________________________ ~ Adgee Cross ~ The Kipper The two men who had both been picking up wins now that they had gone their separate ways were a month away from their own Aussie Rules match which would ensure that one of the men would be walking out of the ring as a winner. No disqualification, no count outs the only way to win was for one man to pin or submit the other. This would ensure there is a winner and set the stage for Final Chapter where they would go on to face the SZW Australian Champion. Finally standing in the ring with one another for the first time since they were both in the New Year Riot Rumble at the start of the year seven months ago the duelling chants from the crowd were a strong opener but it was clear The Kipper chants were a little louder before both men got their chance to hype themselves and one another on the microphone until there was nothing left to say and a close stand off and handshake to end the segment. _____________________________________ SZW Sydney Championship Match vs Dizzy G vs Peril © The opening contest was a rematch between Dizzy G and Peril for the Sydney Championship. Coming off what was a major win last month I had become the most over talent alongside Adrian McGhee in the company, which was surreal to think about, but with everyone picking up their game recently it may be short lived. My undefeated streak continued with me picking up another big win against the former champion Dizzy G, using my size to my advantage during the match. This was a good opening match for the show, and only slightly down on our last match against each other. Winner: Peril Rating: 41 _____________________________________ ~ Vortex ~ Peril Vortex came out after the match with a microphone in hand to address Peril (Me) as much as he was going to address the entire crowd. “I have shown that I overcame my injury, now I want to show I am a champion.” I looked to grab the microphone to reply to Vortex but as I turned back to face the potential challenger, he had already left the stage leaving myself and the crowd once again bewildered by the enigmatic character. _____________________________________ vs Jake D’Angelo vs Michel Bernard I hate to use the term a throw away match when Michel Bernard was in the ring, but that is exactly what this was. I needed a match to split up the segments and with everyone else involved in storylines or matches tonight. This was a chance to get Michel Bernard on the card in a short match. Jake D'Angelo came away with a surprising win when he grabbed the tights of Michel Bernard for a quick roll up finish. Even more surprising was the performance Michel Bernard was able to pull out of Jake D’Angelo putting on a great match. Winner: Jake D’Angelo Rating: 48 _____________________________________ & Lone Rider & Taniko Jo Lone Rider came out after a win last month was demanding for another match against anyone backstage. He didn’t care who is the champion at the end of the night, next month he was going to recapture the SZW Australian Championship. He didn’t care who won between The Kipper or Adgee Cross he would beat the winner at Final Chapter. He heard everyone backstage talking about Blackwell Bush last month and what a performance he had put on, he wanted a strong opponent to show just how good in the ring he is. _____________________________________ vs Lone Rider vs Armando Guerrero The Mexican Patriot was the one to answer the call of Lone Rider and he was my pick to pull out an impressive match from Lone Rider. In the back Lone Rider wanted to show he could put on one of the best matches in the company history and he had his chance tonight against one of the veteran talents in Armando Guerrero. This did exactly that and was easily a Top 5 match for the company with both men doing extremely well. Winner: Lone Rider Rating: 49 _____________________________________ Smokers & Suplexes Smokers & Suplexes came out to the crowd with the usual act of Fuzzy Freeman lounging around the ringside area as the more confident on the microphone Brown Snake got in the ring to declare the partnership as the number one contenders for the SZW Tag-Team Championships, stating that Wild Youth wouldn't be challenging them tonight. Even though they had accepted the match, for whatever reason Wild Youth are ducking them. The Devoted Souls claimed to have beaten every team in the company, but they hadn’t beaten Smokers & Suplexes since their formation in the company and come Final Chapter they will end the reign of terror that is The Devoted Souls. Still they wanted a match tonight and welcomed any opponents to come out and face them. _____________________________________ vs Smokers & Suplexes vs Trehawke Phillips & Saul Rubennick The newest tag-team were looking to pick up some momentum as they are two months away from their first ever title match and this time they got to face off against Trehawke Phillips & Saul Rubennick who had teamed a few times before and teamed up once again out of the blue, something I wanted to avoid. Still a good match carried by Smokers & Suplexes Winner: Smokers & Suplexes Rating: 38 _____________________________________ SZW Australian Championship Match vs Blackwell Bush vs Adrian McGhee © This match had a significant amount of hype around it as Blackwell Bush pulled out an amazing match last month and Adrian McGhee is coming off a win against one of the most popular acts he had faced in his career. This match delivered on all fronts with both Adrian McGhee and Blackwell Bush putting on performances on the exact same level as one another and it was able to become the new best match in company history and rightfully so having two men actually on the roster holding that title. Adrian McGhee picked up a big win as he heads into Fully Loaded next month. Winner: Adrian McGhee Rating: 54 _____________________________________ The Devoted Souls This time it was my chance to come out and join my tag-team partner after his title defence to close out the show. With Adrian McGhee and I standing tall once again with all the gold in the company. Still the challengers were rising as Adrian was set to face off against Lone Rider next month for the SZW Australian Championship and would then face off against one of Adgee Cross or The Kipper at Final Chapter if he won. While we were both going to take on Smokers & Suplexes at Final Chapter for the SZW Tag-Team Championship and who knows when I would face the mysterious Vortex for the SZW Sydney Championship. All of that could not take away what has been the most dominant tag-team and individual performances for the past two years by the both of us. _____________________________________
  3. _____________________________________ Backstage _____________________________________ Adrian McGhee ~ Vortex Backstage Adrian McGhee and Vortex showed up insanely late to the venue stating some clearly made-up excuse, the pair were travelling to the show together. I didn’t want to rock the boat too much with my tag-team partner so a stern warning for both guys resulted in no issues. _____________________________________ @Voeltzwagon He definitely has the air of being the best bout machine for the company, similar to Michel Bernard vein where he can mix it up with anyone and just deliver in a stunning performance. @619 I appreciate the Tahere pun, but yes such a more pleasant place without him there. Even Adrian and Saul had been good for a couple of months post the firing of Kelly. It is nice to know Lloyd Banks has been overachieving in your own TEW game. He is a guy who I just like seeing around, though it was certainly Bush that carried the match. I've definitely tried to build the main title as a anyone could be leaving Final Chapter as champion with both Adrian McGhee being the champion and Bush, Lone Rider, Adgee/Kipper all getting matches in the lead up and during the final show. Lone Rider has grown so much in my books by getting solid performances which I love seeing I can have faith in him. @Aura You aren't wrong having the best match ever in a throw away match in essence certainly has done big things, more so where Bush is concerned. But I always need folks to eat a pin.
  4. @John Lions I love all of this, especially the whole motivational speaker in a wheelchair. God you make me wish I had such creative storylines. It may be hard to go back and do a diary, but I'd love to see something in the future with this company or another.
  5. Give me the diary @John Lions I demand it. First things first, the new name for Monday, A++ thank god. Lost Souls.. god that is all I can hope to accomplish with Vortex in my story, or with The Devoted Souls.. god burning an entire building to the ground. I love and hate them. Also always love Underworld and Maniac Monster together. Mustang Blanco in Australia!!! God that's what I want to see. Where do I buy my Meurto shirt sir! God I want at least a breakdown of the block it's so stacked and lots of guys seemed to have developed greatly in the last two years. Livewire block has three clear stacked options to potentially win it. While Adrenaline seems a lot more likely a less big name can actually show up, unless Saint runs riot on the division. Still Michel Bernard or Logan Wolfsbane could be primed for a shoot up the card being in the weaker division and making a name for themselves to have a break out performance
  6. _____________________________________ Recipe for Disaster _____________________________________ vs Blackwell Bush vs Lloyd Banks Straight into the action tonight with the first match of the night. Blackwell Bush had promised a “tune up” match ahead of his upcoming SZW Australian Championship match with Adrian McGhee. Everyone had expected it to be a bigger name, but it was a man who went by the name Lloyd Banks getting a chance to show his stuff on the show. Because it was a tune up match, I let Blackwell Bush dictate it and he wanted a long match with a slow build. Damn did he prove to handle that well carrying the match to an amazing level, and producing the best match in company history. Winner: Blackwell Bush Rating: 52 _____________________________________ Wild Youth Wild Youth hit the ring next as we tried to hype up the crowd. Wild Youth wanted to address a few things, starting with how The Devoted Souls sought to bring in outside talent to compete against them and put their titles on the line. Wild Youth said sure they may have lost before, but they were more than willing to fight The Devoted Souls every day of the week until they beat them. Speaking of beating people Wild Youth would like to formally accept the offer extended by Smokers & Suplexes and will challenge them next month at Sydney’s Finest with the winner earning a shot at the SZW Tag-Team Championship in the future. _____________________________________ vs Trehawke Phillips vs The Kipper It had been some time since Trehawe and The Kipper had faced off against one another in a one-on-one match, in fact it was over a year since The Kipper had successfully defended his title against Trehawke Phillips when he was the inaugural SZW Australian Champion. This match was on par with their previous title match, but Trehawke Phillips certainly looked exhausted out there. Winner: The Kipper Rating: 37 _____________________________________ vs Adgee Cross ~ Delbert DeGeorge Adgee Cross got an interview with Delbert DeGeorge this week to talk about the fact in two months he would face off against The Kipper with the winner going on to challenge for the SZW Australian Championship at Final Chapter. Adgee Cross said he hoped the champion heading into the match would be Lone Rider as he had always pictured in his head “The Boss” Adgee Cross picking up the win against Lone Rider to capture his first SZW Championship, somewhat brushing over the fact he would be facing The Kipper the month before. Adgee Cross and Delbert DeGeorge put on a great segment out there. _____________________________________ vs Armando Guerrero vs Austin Tahere Armando Guerrero looked to continue his winning ways once again facing off against a much less experienced opponent. This time he got a chance to tussle with Austin Tahere in one-on-one action. I wasn’t expecting much from this match. Which ended up being a decent showing, while Austin struggled being center stage instead of the pre-show. Winner: Armando Guerrero Rating: 36 _____________________________________ Dizzy G A dejected Dizzy G makes his way out in front of the fans. There is a lot less insulting and rapping going on by the usually high energy Dizzy G tonight who is without the SZW Sydney Championship. Dizzy G came out here for a short statement, saying he will be getting his title back next month at Sydney’s Finest when he takes on Peril in his rematch for the title. _____________________________________ vs Lone Rider vs Two-Face Tucker Lone Rider came out in his first match post losing the SZW Australian Championship facing off against a man so far down the totem pole he had only one match this year on the main card Two-Face Tucker. Lone Rider didn’t get a good opponent to showcase his abilities against, but he worked well with what he had before him and delivered a strong match in what was a convincing win. Winner: Lone Rider Rating: 45 _____________________________________ ~ The Devoted Souls ~ The 3AM Boys Adrian McGhee and I came out sporting championships across our shoulders made our way down to the ring. The SZW Tag-Team Championships, SZW Sydney Championship and SZW Australian Championship were all in our possession proving that we had dominated everyone in this company. Which brings us to tonight. We wanted something different. We wanted what we labelled as "real" opponents, someone with credibility before announcing the 3AM Boys from Revolution Australia Wrestling (RAW) would be our opponents. The duo of Marcus Kerr and Matt Stoppard made their way out to a lot of cheers from the crowd as they performed their entrance. _____________________________________ SZW Tag-Team Championship Match vs The 3AM Boys vs The Devoted Souls Preparing for this match was big, after all when we started talking to Marcus Kerr and Matt Stoppard, I thought that RAW would instantly refuse to let these guys even show up on our roster. They allowed us to grab them for the night which was a big get and showed that people in other companies are open to working with us. Opening the flood gates in my mind. I thought they may have a problem with letting myself and Adrian McGhee pick up the win. Which it looked like Matt was going to speak up when I told him the plan for the finish of the match, but Adrian McGhee made it clear where this match was going and Matt seemed to keep his mouth shut. Normally this would have been a great match, but much like the match before it was overshadowed by the opening contest. Winners: The Devoted Souls Rating: 45 _____________________________________
  7. _____________________________________ Backstage _____________________________________ No backstage incidents two months in a row! Let’s go! _____________________________________ @619 I can assure you it was a deliberate misdirect, more that I looked over the challenge of Bush when preparing the scripts in essence lol. That was all me. Definitely doing a slow burn build on Vortex for now as you're right there is more than enough going on elsewhere on the shows. @DAVEFAN95 I am also a big fan of Adrian McGhee as well @Old School Fan I love all the talk about Dizzy G, he was someone I didn't rate when starting the diary but to see him getting so much attention makes me feel bad for pulling the trigger on his title reign just as he was building up. Definitely see how he needs to have a heater so to speak to just increase him as a threat as he does the other things well. @Tiberious @Aura I didn't actually realise that Lee Bawes was on a streak to be honest. Good to see him apparently getting over without doing too much at this stage. Again so many thoughts on Dizzy G and they all sort of align with the reasons why he lost the title more due to the Devoted Souls storyline than him doing anything wrong himself sadly. I also wish I bought in the team of Sulphur and Crazy Train. In fact that may definitely happen even if it is as enhancement talent because that is just too good not to use.
  8. Well god what a show and backstage drama! First Molokai Milk showing up, there was one fan in the crowd who knew the man. Definitely did not expect him being there. I haven't used him in 2020, but in 2016 he was always a good in ring guy with a unique look and charisma.. just placed in Hawaii made him a strange location. Excited that even though he got squashed he will still show up elsewhere now and then with his friendship with Ox. Speaking of Ox being laid out by Cobra is a travesty of all travesties. El Toro coming away with a win is a big surprise here. He has been getting steady momentum but the trigger pull over Rudy. Surely he gets a rematch but El Toro should have a nice lengthy run. Rudy losing feels disappointing as he could have done much more in the role and didn't get any massive feuds to build a legacy out of the run, but also he felt lack luster as champion to a degree at the same time. Second title change was massive as well, this time the new team get the titles I am more interested to see where Puerto Rican Boys go from here if they eventually move away from the title picture. Peverell having a stipulation so to speak of being kept away from the Main title if he losses turns out to be a blessing due to the poor chemistry. Heart in mouth stuff for Mutant as I read it before the injury update was posted and thought he may end up out long-term. Unlucky for him, I wonder if the results changed due to the injury. The heat between them isn't good to see after it. Xavi in his final match was a big news story to come out of the show. He has talent and will go on to great things but leaves a hole in House Handsome which may already be filled in the background. Bull Wrecker news is way harder to take. He is robbing me of my big muscle bound big 4 man match that I so desperately want in my life. It is horrible timing with him not able to cash in the first Gateway to the Gold match clause. Honestly him winning and vacating the title would have been better.. now do they ignore Gateway to the Gold contendership for the year. This could be why Rudy dropped the title early if he is going to move up the card to help fill the void of Xavi and Bull Wrecker as one of those edge Main Event guys. Juggernaut is due back soon as well right, he could fill in my meaty four man brawl.
  9. Lorenzo fucking Oliverio. Push the Italian stallion to the moon! I love him in the default CVerse so excited to see his stats and what accomplishments he has had coming in so far. Slowly the build to another group to rival The Pros is happening excitedly.
  10. I love everything about the Desert Trio bio and now hope they become the most successful wrestling company in Australia, slightly ahead of DIW. God Dexter turning the backstage area against Edwards is such a nice little foil that could end in so many directions.
  11. Rob Edwards finding his first ally as Milton gets drawn away dealing with the Ares group and focused on Hall now. Can definitely see a refresh as a new team challenge The Pros. Dexter Mattell should have a comfortable win against Kobra and he could join up with Rob Edwards group now when he comes up unlucky against Mattell. Although I agree entirely with Mattell and that stupid tongue poking needs to go, so maybe Mattell can show him exactly why he is a Pro as Kobra will come up short in an actual big match like he has done so often lately. I really enjoyed the Main Event mixing Death Cult with The Pros and Rob Edwards who is the biggest threat to The Pros long term. Smart move bringing in some AE talent to build up guys and while Edwards is the biggest name, I am surprised they weren't used to build up someone else on the roster, as I figured Rob Edwards was over the most. I always love when two story lines end up colliding briefly. Just always feels nice when paths cross. Rigsby chants, love to see it. Crazy that a new promotion is opening so quickly after one folds and such a dramatic and as an Australian I am really surprised Alice Springs a town with 30k people gets a promotion lol, but hey love to see it and Craig Stuart is a great guy so I wish them the best. I popped for Adrian McGhee.
  12. _____________________________________ Pinnacle _____________________________________ & ~ Lone Rider & Taniko Jo ~ Paul Lone Rider was in the back once again talking to his father about the chance of him having a match for the SZW Australian Championship. Paul unfortunately broke the news that the new champions schedule has already filled up very quickly with the Adrian McGhee already having matches booked, something that Adrian had taken upon himself. Lone Rider would be getting a shot at Adrian McGhee at SZW Fully Loaded in three months, and if he was still champion then it would be for the SZW Australian Championship. When Lone Rider asked what he meant by “if”, Paul explained that Adrian McGhee will be putting the SZW Australian Championship on the line against Blackwell Bush at Sydney’s Finest after Bush’s comments last month. An bothered looking Lone Rider stormed out of the locker room area as Taniko Jo followed trying to calm him down. _____________________________________ vs Armando Guerrero vs Johnathan Wesker To start things off for the night we saw the Mexican Patriot himself Armando Guerrero in the ring against Johnathan Wesker. The plan was simple and just keep Armando relevant in the midcard by picking up a win while working with a junior act in Johnathan Wesker. This was a good start to the show with Armando putting in some work. Winner: Armando Guerrero Rating: 36 _____________________________________ Blackwell Bush Blackwell got an incredible brief moment on the microphone saying he was getting exactly what he deserved, he had earned the title shot and was glad he would be getting it at Sydney’s Finest. Next month at Recipe for Disaster he would be having a “tune up” match so the fans should all “tune in”. (I don’t think he realises we aren’t actually broadcasting anywhere, but still you “tune in” to DVDs right? Man... he isn't good on the mic.) _____________________________________ vs Lee Bawes vs Banky Bremner Bawes continued his winning ways, this time against the other half on Wild Youth when he took on Banky Bremner. There wasn’t anything special leading into this match up. This was another solid match building on the previous one with Lee Bawes having a better partner to work with. Winner: Lee Bawes Rating: 38 _____________________________________ ~ The Kipper ~ Delbert DeGeorge The Kipper found himself in the ring being interviewed by Delbert DeGeorge. The Kipper said it wouldn’t matter if Adrian McGhee was the champion, or if Lone Rider was champion. In four months when he challenges for the SZW Australian Championship, there is only one guy leaving the ring with the gold around his waist. He planned to become a two-time champion. Delbert reminded The Kipper he would have a match the month before at Fully Loaded against Adgee Cross, which The Kipper reminded him he had already beaten once before, and when it is an Aussie Rules match, where there has to be a winner. _____________________________________ vs Adgee Cross vs Michael Rheur A match between a man who acted as the gatekeeper of the division and a man who looked to continue his winning streak. After listening to the comments made by his future opponent The Kipper, Adgee came out full of energy riding the high of his Main Event win last month. This match struggled a little due to Michael Rheur being tired by the midway point, but Adgee Cross was able to come out looking like a champion. Winner: Adgee Cross Rating: 37 _____________________________________ Vortex Previously the montage ended with Vortex showing a clip of his injury and the voice over talking about the sacrifice he had made for this sport. Now for the first time in SZW Vortex made his way out in front of the crowd. “I am here in the flesh. To show you all I have overcome my injury.” Without further elaboration or discussion or even taking a moment to soak in the crowd Vortex leaves the ring, leaving everyone in the crowd as perplexed as the commentary team. _____________________________________ vs The Runway vs Smokers & Suplexes A match set from last month between two teams who showed some respect for one another, but also felt like they were both teams ready to step up and challenge for the SZW Tag-Team Championship. This match featured four extremely talented individuals with a lot of expectation on the match. This match delivered in spades with everyone performing well, and Michel Bernard showing exactly why I have begun to rely on him so much. Winners: Smokers & Suplexes Rating: 49 _____________________________________ Smokers & Suplexes Brown Snake gets on the microphone while Fuzzy Freeman ends up along the barricade with the crowd. Brown Snake says this should solidify them as a tag-team they have beaten Two-Faced Bombers, they have beaten The Runway. The only other people they haven’t beaten besides the champions would be Wild Youth. This was their official challenge to Wild Youth, they wanted to take on Wild Youth to show they can beat any tag-team in the company. _____________________________________ SZW Sydney Championship Match vs Peril vs Dizzy G This was the match promised from last month and saw me take on the SZW Sydney Champion Dizzy G. Now this was a chance for me to solidify myself as a guy in the company and step out of Adrian McGhee’s shadow to an extent. In the main event of SZW. The match struggled to compete with the previous one as they put on a great performance but I still had a good outing against Dizzy G and I was able to capture my first solo title in the history of my career and become the SZW Sydney Champion. Winner: Peril Rating: 42 _____________________________________ The Devoted Souls Adrian McGhee came out to join me in the ring and held my hand high as I clutched the SZW Sydney Championship and the SZW Tag-Team Championship in either hand. Before eventually getting his own titles so we could pose with all the gold in SZW. Adrian McGhee then got on the microphone as the celebrations continued. “We are undefeated in this company, we have defeated every team in the back, we have defeated every champion that stood before us. Hell, we even beat two people from the crowd one month. Next month we want a real challenge, an actual challenge. Maybe we should face someone from another company, hell we will put our tag-team titles on the line next month against a premier tag-team from elsewhere.” Adrian McGhee laid down the statement and hyped up our match for next month in a tag-team contest that would see us take on a “big name” tag-team in the Main Event at Recipe for Disaster. _____________________________________
  13. _____________________________________ Backstage _____________________________________ Nothing, no drama. Great times. _____________________________________ @619 @John Lions @Aura Interesting to see everyone talk so highly about Dizzy G, he is certainly one of the guys I enjoy writing more on promo time and I love his different appeal to being a more cocky talker in the ring. As John mentioned he is small and would look better with a heater at his side, which was meant to be "Worldwide" but in kayfabe he put an end to that idea. He is definitely someone I didn't expect to have a big role in the diary at all and end up being enhancement talent so the fact he is getting this reception is great. @DAVEFAN95 Pleasure to have you here mate, always love more guys seeing the Aussie CVerse, can't wait to see what you deliver now that you're back.
  14. Really exciting set up for the new year. Hyped Ox will be getting a title shot, I mean he won his match didn't he. Another show, another Bull Wrecker tease but this time with another big man getting involved in the picture as well. Cougar debuting with a win is a good look and I wonder if Xavi can keep House Handsome together while the boss is away, if it ends up being a few months off the card.

  17. Seeing Frogue get a win in the season opener is such a good sign for him and I am excited for his future. LETS GO SUNBURST!!! The Main Event was a hell of a match, correct me if I am wrong but that was the best match in the companies history, at least the best match in the last few months.
  18. I am wondering if the reason for the sudden fizzle in D.O.A and Mr. Blitz was because of the news that he was leaving for CEW, so a sudden change in planning. D.O.A a monster in his own right choking out Vaughan at the ringside during the main event. Such a power move from him. I like Tiberious comments about it may be a work that Mr. Blitz is leaving, but if anything a lower card guy who has been eating losses says he is moving to a competitor only to be ruined on the way out. Clear sign that DIW talent is above CEW. Seth Wish going huge in the Main Event is great and continues to add to his feud with Dexter Mattell. Obviously I find it hard that Seth eventually dethrones the champion he is building up to be such a great contender. I was writing this before the final segment and Seth Wish turning is surprising but could lead to cracks for the eventual stable of The Pros. In fact a hyped up Milton, Edwards, Wish and Wrecker taking on The Pros will be such a good match up I am all ready for. I don't know much about the AE or mod you are using, but to see guys potentially make it in like The Brisbane Devil, Scottie Hamstead, Hack the Hunter or Underworld are really good options to see eventually on the roster.
  19. _____________________________________ Eye of the Storm _____________________________________ ~ The Devoted Souls ~ Delbert DeGeorge To open the show carrying both the SZW tag-team championships and the biggest prize in the company the SZW Australian Championship was Adrian McGhee and I. Delbert DeGeorge came to the ring to interview us. After the typical questions of how it feels to be the SZW Australian Champion, what it was like to be in the main event against Lone Rider in such a hard-fought match. The fact that having two sets of titles puts a bigger target on the back of Adrian McGhee, which made Adrian laugh and deliver the close to the segment. “We have two of the SZW Championships, the only person with a target on their back is the man who has the only title The Devoted Souls do not have. There is only one title left to capture and Peril’s left shoulder is looking mighty empty. Next month he should change that fact. Dizzy G the Devoted Souls are coming for you.” _____________________________________ vs The Kipper vs Michael Rheur The Kipper looked to continue his return against opponents not named Adgee and this time he faced off against Michael Rheur who has acted as solid mid card act thus far for the company. The two older wrestlers got the chance to kick off the show. Although I expected better The Kipper being off his game and Michael Rheur getting visibly tired towards the end of the match hurt it the final rating but still an okay match for the show. Winner: The Kipper Rating: 33 _____________________________________ ~ The Runway ~ Smokers & Suplexes Backstage The Runway looked to be practicing their struts down a red carpet that they had laid out in a hallway. The two men taking turns while the other cheered and pointed out what a good job their tag-team partner was doing. Eventually Fuzzy Freeman found himself walking down the red carpet in advertently as he walked down the hallway. Both XS and Michel complimented his form. Fuzzy clearly wasn’t sure what was going on as both members of The Runway encouraged him to walk the other way down the carpet. Brown Snake appeared and asked if the two men were trying to make a joke out of his tag-team partner. Michel did well to defuse the situation, but it ended with Brown Snake telling The Runway that they would see them in the ring next month and prove that Smokers & Suplexes are ready for a shot at the SZW Tag-Team Champions. _____________________________________ vs Armando Guerrero vs Dizzy G Although Dizzy G had a match set for next month, he was in the ring focused on his current opponent. Dizzy had already retired one wrestling trainer this year and when he had the chance to talk smack in the ring he said he would do the same thing tonight, before finally pinning Armando Guerrero. This match worked really well with Armando Guerrero and Dizzy G having pretty good chemistry between the two of them. Winner: Dizzy G Rating: 39 _____________________________________ Dizzy G Dizzy G grabs the microphone after the match letting the crowd boo as he hoists his SZW Sydney Championship up high in the air. He wants to address the challenge of The Devoted Souls. He is the last bastion hope for the company. He is the last hold out for the company. Guess what though, he doesn’t care about SZW, he doesn’t care about the fans. The only thing he cares about is his paycheck and next month taking on Peril will give him the biggest paycheck, so he accepts the match next month. The added benefit he gets to end the undefeated streak of Peril, and he is accustomed to ending things just like he ended New Zealand Pit Bulls career. _____________________________________ vs Lee Bawes vs Lance Maddigan Lee Bawes hasn’t had a match since back in February on the main card and looked to continue his form of beating up on babyfaces that were down the card. This time he faced off against my roommate Lance Maddigan who was looking for something to do this month. Another pair of guys who showed to have good chemistry against one another, which is nice to see in the company. Winner: Lee Bawes Rating: 38 _____________________________________ Blackwell Bush Blackwell Bush a man who seemed to be on a mission in the ring with very little talking got some time on the microphone. He came out to voice his displeasure that even though he helped The Devoted Souls win their six man tag against Wild Youth and Lone Rider he wasn’t offered to become a member of the group, nor did he get a title shot like Adrian McGhee or Peril are getting. With that he called for his opponent to get out to the ring, he was frustrated. _____________________________________ vs Blackwell Bush vs Johnathan Wesker The Muscle Bomber himself came out to the ring looking for a match and boy did he get it. Blackwell dissected the bigger man breaking him down limb by limb not showing. This was a long match by our standards something Paul wanted to see if Blackwell Bush could translate his style against the guys lower on the card. Which he certainly did against Wesker who didn’t put in a good performance by any stretch of the imagination, but Blackwell made this a watchable affair. Winner: Blackwell Bush Rating: 41 _____________________________________ ~ Paul ~ Lone Rider & Taniko Jo Backstage Lone Rider was talking to his father asking when he would be booked for his title rematch, wanting to get his hands on Adrian McGhee earlier rather than later, and he didn’t want anyone interfering in the match. Paul tried to calm his son down stating he would get a chance soon enough, but it wouldn’t be happening tonight. Lone Rider said he doesn’t care when it happens, he is going to recapture his SZW Australian Championship when he gets the chance. _____________________________________ vs Trehawke Phillips vs Adgee Cross The main event of the night was planned last month and involved Adgee Cross taking on a man he hadn’t ever faced in the ring which was surprising as Trehawke Phillips had been involved in the main event picture, as had Adgee Cross. Adgee Cross was a man on a mission as he came out to prove a point tonight and he did exactly that. He had such an impressive match. Trehawke Phillips certainly hampered this match a bit with his performance. Clearly his age is catching up to him these days. Winner: Adgee Cross Rating: 40 _____________________________________
  20. _____________________________________ Backstage _____________________________________ ~ New Zealand Pit Bull ~ Austin Tahere Backstage the mentor New Zealand Pit Bull was working with Austin Tahere closely and Pit Bull commented that Austin is doing well working on his psychology in the ring. Which is a good benefit as he now is alone in the ring following the release of his kayfabe brother Kelly and fellow New Zealand Pit Bull graduate. _____________________________________ @John Lions Again, thank you so much for the title pic of Adrian, it definitely seems like a swerve for Adrian to come away with the win but I wanted. It was the first major test for Lone Rider heading into his new contract and was exceptionally handled by him. Honestly all my doubts in regards to Lone Rider have been alleviated. XS has been impressive as he would normally be quite trash for me so I am happy to see him do well. Vortex will certainly have a big first match that is for sure. @619 I am glad the swerve is perceived as a positive one and not making Adrian a champion completely out of the blue. Making it an actual plausible contender for the championship. @Aura I can assure you it wasn't the creative control reason I flipped the title just purely for the storyline this year, although I was certainly expecting push back I am glad he went with the storyline. You are 100% correct, The Kipper has been everything I wanted from Saul and Trehawke to a lesser degree. Someone who can slot into the Main Event comfortably but also is okay doing the job. The Kipper is very much my Jericho to AEW. @newbiezness Vortex Hype indeed.
  21. A big night of matches, seeing Kip & DWN beating down Martyr with chairs after Martyr went on a devastating attack was good to show that there need to be multiple threats to put down the big man. Street fight was a highlight match of mine and seeing big Ox pick up the win and put an end to the feud potentially is great to see the big man keep moving up. I am all in on the Original Gangsta's! Mutant delivered and will be on the warpath for his title once again which is exciting. As mentioned it is strange the Puerto Rican Championship isn't the match to close the show, but instead is used as a cooldown between the two big matches. I am not a Harker fan after he caused so many issues in one of my diaries and his green goatee is stupid. What an impressive main event though, everything that built up into the match and the story told in the ring, including the fact that House Handsome could only watch on and there wasn't a brawl after the match to keep things going. With Juggernaut out, Relentless losing the titles and Xavi ready to move up the card himself it really does feel like the writing is on the wall for House Handsome.
  22. _____________________________________ Glory & Gold _____________________________________ ~ Adgee Cross ~ Trehawke Phillips Trehawke Phillips was out in the ring talking about how he didn’t care what happens tonight, or who ended up being champion he was still deserving of a title shot. Being careful not to mention the number of chances he had already been given. Adgee Cross then came out interrupting Trehawke to remind him of said chances and said he was also on a road to redemption and wanted to make that claim himself. He wanted to show everyone backstage he deserves the shot, and he wants to be ready when he takes on The Kipper at Fully Loaded. He was going to start with Trehawke Phillips one of the biggest names in SZW, and as he pointed out a man that has been in the main event countless times. What better way for both men to show they deserve a shot at the SZW Australian Champion than by facing off in the main event next month. _____________________________________ SZW Tag-Team Championship vs Wild Youth vs The Devoted Souls © The first match of the night between Wild Youth taking on the champions for the titles. Set to be the first match was to allow Adrian McGhee to rest after the match long enough before competing for the SZW Australian Championship. This was a straightforward defence from the champions with the ending of the match seeing me pick up the win. Unfortunately, midway through the match Adrian McGhee hit the Loaded Glove on Banky Bremner a bit too hard and ended up fracturing his cheek bone. Causing some heat from the backstage guys. Winners: The Devoted Souls Rating: 36 _____________________________________ Dizzy G Dizzy G came out insulting the crowd before bringing up the fact he saw everything last month watching the match from XS. There isn’t anything he can throw at him that he hasn’t seen before and tonight it is all written in stone. The era of Dizzy G will continue to reign supreme. Dizzy G was getting better on the mic, slowly but steadily improving and definitely putting on the best angle of the night _____________________________________ SZW Sydney Championship vs XS vs Dizzy G © Second match of the night was set to be some fast-paced action between two of the younger guys on the roster. XS was allowed to actually contest the fight on even footing after the impressive showings as of late, giving the steady hand something to do. This was a good contest between the two men with Dizzy G performing well as champion, carrying on his impressive showing tonight. Winner: Dizzy G Rating: 39 _____________________________________ ~ The Kipper ~ Jake D’Angelo The Kipper came out with a microphone in hand excited to see the crowd and talk about the fact he will be keeping his eye on the main event later tonight. It was still his chance to break away from his feud with Adgee Cross and wanted to get back in the winners’ circle. Creating an open challenge for anyone in the back to come take their shot at the former SZW Australian Champion. The man to come out and answer the challenge was Jake D’Angelo who didn’t have much to say on the microphone than to add that the only circle he is going into is the loser’s circle. _____________________________________ vs The Kipper vs Jake D’Angelo This was a showcase of The Kipper and he was in full display against the younger less talented Jake D’Angelo, but with a limited story build up I wasn’t expecting an amazing contest from the two. The Kipper was having an off night something he even commented when he made his way to the back, it was still a solid match. Winner: The Kipper Rating: 34 _____________________________________ Vortex Another hype package for Vortex taking more of the high action tapes he had sent us before the last few frames showing his injury occurring as he dived to the outside of the ring before his voice breaks through the music as the screen fades to black. “I know what it is like to sacrifice everything for this sport.” This segment did a lot better than last months one which was good to see. _____________________________________ vs Blackwell Bush vs Saul Rubennick Saul Rubennick looked to be getting on the microphone to talk smack about his future opponent before Blackwell Bush made his entrance. This time no microphone time as he struggled and instead the moment, he hit the ring the two started exchanging blows as the bell rang. It was all Blackwell Bush for the majority of this one. What a surprise there was another person Saul was just unable to work with it seemed as he struggled to click with Blackwell in the ring. Winner: Blackwell Bush Rating: 36 _____________________________________ & Lone Rider & Taniko Jo Lone Rider came out to the ring and said while it didn’t feel right that his opponent would be facing off against him after he already had a match tonight, but he would do him the honour of going all out in their contest. After all, he is the fighting champion of this company and would continue to prove that. Taniko Jo talked up he has held the title for 168 days and defended it on three occasions and the streak would continue. _____________________________________ SZW Australian Championship vs Adrian McGhee vs Lone Rider© The culmination of the night the streak of Adrian McGhee took on the title reign of Lone Rider. I had some hesitations heading into this as Lone Rider at the end of the day had creative control but to my surprise, he was happy to work with me and by me I quite literally meant it as I came out and provided enough of a distraction to allow Adrian McGhee to pick up the win. Although he didn’t object to the loss he was off his game during the match. However, the ending seemed to make up for it ending the show with a good contest. Winner: Adrian McGhee Rating: 45 _____________________________________
  23. _____________________________________ Backstage _____________________________________ Kelly Tahere Kelly Tahere once again was causing backstage issues this time around it wasn’t directed at the backstage area but towards the fans waiting to come into the show. Once it was all broken up and he made his way to the back I made a very clear statement and fired him for his actions. Something Trehawke Phillips was very vocal about his approval after being injured by Kelly back at Christmas Clash last year. _____________________________________ ~ XS ~ Lee Bawes Meanwhile the backstage environment was lifted when XS and Lee Bawes were instructed to get drinks for the boys in the back by Paul after they had made a faux pas in the backstage area. Lee Bawes seemed more like he was happy to as he was just messing with his old friend Paul. _____________________________________ @619 Hahaha, I don't think you have to fear Kelly Tahere for the time being with him being released now. @Voeltzwagon Normally I am all good for some locker room antics, but every single month seemed a bit much for a guy who provides no value for the company. Not like Saul.. Saul provides great value. @John Lions Being a little further in the diary, you certainly get the sense as the year closes out a new wave of guys really make their mark in the company, and a lot of the older guys that couldn't cut it just are fill ins on the shows. @Aura I am glad you're enjoying Smokers & Suplexes with them suddenly finding chemistry, and me needing to find a role for Brown Snake for awhile. I hope they work out well in their role. @Tiberious Waiting on your diary, but I love the idea for Warlock needing a short rest mid match every time. I mean other people wont get it, but it makes me po.
  24. Been unlucky lately with your guys getting injured while other companies are working. Definitely keen for the end of year card with a lot of massive matches building up
  25. Really good show building up to next week's main event. I love the foil of Rob Edwards knowing there is a clear way for him to take on The Pros but Milton still refusing to do it. Seth and Chopper not delivering as much as Rick Horn and Mattell goes to show the Champion is the right choice, or the rookie Horn is money. Rigsby is getting a new storyline very similar to the "I have kids" storyline of Heath Slater. Curious where D.O.A goes from here seeing as he isn't going back to the tag-team scene quite yet. Is Goon #2 Fiasco or another guy from the mod.
