  3. Is it possible to change the line break spacing on the forum (or at least in the Dynasties section)? The spacing is pretty large compared to the old forum. I think it would look better. New forum: Old forum:

  5. p, div { margin:0; padding:0; line-height: 1.2; } NEW JAPAN PRO-WRESTLING ☆ king of sports ☆ Shinagawa, Tokyo, Japan - Collectible card company Bushiroad purchased New Japan Pro-Wrestling in 2012. Founded in 1972 by star Antonio Inoki, NJPW has been the top company in Japan for most of existence, carried through its early years on the popularity of Inoki and his battles with “legit fighters”. Inoki's love of legitimate martial artists and fighters would help form the “strong style” approach in the ring but carried to extremes in the late 90s and early 00s, “Inokism” would actively damage the company. Inoki was forced to sell in 2005 and NJPW has recovered. Now with the financial power of Bushirod and an exceptionally strong roster of in-ring talent, it appears New Japan could be headed towards a true golden period of in-ring product. The Year So Far... The Failure at Wrestle Kingdom 7 One year since he returned to the cerulean blue mat, Kazuchika Okada looked to win match #3 of his series with "The Ace" Hiroshi Tanahashi on the biggest stage in New Japan. Okada has grown from being awkward in his role to becoming a guy who is super confident, carries himself like a superstar, and is one of the best workers on the planet. He is "The Rainmaker". In a battle between two guys looking to hit their finisher to secure the win, it was Tanahashi who connected with two High Fly Flows to pin the 2012 G1 Climax winner and make a successful defence. Failing to make his statement win in the Tokyo Dome, "The Rainmaker" scurried to the back crying, embarassed and upset at such a loss to start his 2013. The Machine Gun gets clipped With Tanahashi still on top of New Japan, long-time gaijin Karl Anderson looked to achieve his dream and become the IWGP Heavyweight champion at The New Beginning. It was at this show last year that nobody gave Okada a chance to beat Tanahashi, so Anderson was looking to hand Tanahashi yet another upset. Anderson fought valiantly but came up just short in the best match of his career. Dreams were dashed and Anderson was sent to the back of the line, needing to find something to help him if he ever wants to reach the top of the mountain. The Rainmaker wins the New Japan Cup In the wake of Wrestle Kingdom, the King of Sports ignites an annual of willpower known as the New Japan Cup. Bouncing back from his Wrestle Kingdom loss, Kazuchika Okada fought his way through the single elimination tournament by beating Suzuki-gun's Lance Archer, Karl Anderson, and his fellow CHAOS stablemate Toru Yano to make it to the finals. After a gruelling 25-minute match with Hirooki Goto, Okada secured the win - and with it another shot at Hiroshi Tanahashi for the IWGP Heavyweight Championship at Invasion Attack. A Prince shoots his shot At NJPW's 41st Anniversary event on March 3, IWGP Junior Heavyweight champion Prince Devitt challenged IWGP Heavyweight champion Hiroshi Tanahashi in a true battle of wills. Though neither man's title was on the line in the match, Tanahashi vowed to relinquish the IWGP Heavyweight Championship in case Devitt was victorious. After defeating Devitt, Tanahashi went to help his opponent up, but was pushed away by the disappointed Junior Heavyweight Champion. In the following weeks, Devitt stopped caring about his fellow wrestlers and regularly disrespected both partners and opponents. Failing to capture the IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Tag Team titles from the Time Splitters at Invasion Attack was the tipping point for the Irish star. With the returning King Fale - now Bad Luck Fale - by his side, Devitt turned on his Apollo 55 partner Ryusuke Taguchi and dubbed himself the "Real Rock 'n' Rolla" and that he was a changed man. The King of Strong Style remains a fighting champion Most wrestlers would settle for a tenth of the charisma and presence of Shinsuke Nakamura, who is fantastic and unique. There is nobody like him in all of wrestling, and he stands out from the pack because of it. Since winning the IWGP Intercontinental Championship from Hirooki Goto in July 2012, "The King of Strong Style" has been a defending champion. Oliver John (from California's SWF promotion), Hirooki Goto, Karl Anderson, Kazushi Sakuraba, La Sombra, Lance Archer, and Davey Boy Smith Jr. have all stepped up to dethrone the King but failed to get the job done. Shinsuke Nakamura is on a roll and continues to prove his spot as the true top dog of CHAOS. The Rainmaker avenges his big loss Hiroshi Tanahashi was 2-1 coming into their big match at Invasion Attack, having beat Kazuchika Okada in the main event of Wrestle Kingdom 7. That significant loss - and a loss to Minoru Suzuki at The New Beginning - forced Okada to dig down and work to earn this title shot by winning the New Japan Cup. The match was brilliant in every way. Knowing Okada's Rainmaker maneuver would end the match, Tanahashi destroyed his opponent's arm to prevent it from happening. The damage worked as Tanahashi was able to kick out of one Rainmaker but not survive another. Okada finally got his big win over Tanahashi in 2013 and walked out of Invasion Attack as the new IWGP Heavyweight champion. With a G1 Climax win, a New Japan Cup win, and this new reign as champion, the 24-year-old Okada is firmly in the ace seat. A new chapter in the Rainmaker Era begins in 2013.
