  1. Quick rules clarification, Am I allowed to do this? Because I really want to. They have some of the best wrestlers in Japan with loyalty to them. This would cement my company as a legitimate threat in the country. Yeah, They're losing seven or eight grand a month but I'm making 53,000 grand a month off of sponsorships alone due to the economy and wrestling industry. I know we can't start pacts with other companies but can we buy them out?
  2. Move over Yuma and Kazue, there is a new first couple of Puroresu. I realized in January that at small I could start signing people to exclusive contracts so I signed Sterling Whitlock and he's been absolutely killing it for me. I regret only signing him to a three-year contract at this point because he is the franchise to me. I can't believe USPW let him go and that no one else in Japan signed him. What a mistake. Fuyuko Higa is also absolutely killing it and she's a bit of a cheat code. She walked out of 5SSW and no other puro company has a Joshi division so I'm able to keep her on my roster for incredibly cheap for how good she is. I'm taking a bit of a risk with her reputation for being a troublemaker but she hasn't really caused any problems so far. Also, The Dark Eagle Trophy title thing is so dumb. I know how to fix it but it makes me laugh every time I see it. I didn't just come to hear to wax poetic about Sterling Whitlock and Higa however. It took me forever to do that but I finally did it and...I rolled a 20. Straight edge isn't bad I'm definitely happy that I won't become an addict in the future but it's also not the most helpful roll possible.
  3. There were other reasons besides money that Nakamura left. Mostly injuries and the grind of the NJPW schedule. Age may have also played a factor.

The event rating because of the product penalty sucks but it's easier to deal with than going out of business due to debt.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> My roll when I got to Small was a 2 so I attempted to declare war on 5SSW who are still fairly deep in debt but Dark EAgle (My Companies owner) was against it so it made that roll mute.</p><p> </p><p> My end of the year roll was also disappointing I rolled a 4 there and decided to make Jormugand my friend because there wasn't anyone else worth adding. Everyone that had in any popularity in japan was either old or retired.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> Jormugand doesn't have a ton going for him either but he has high flashiness and aerial so maybe he'll become a valuable member of the roster but I doubt it.</p><p> </p><p> I'm ranked 370th in the world so I rolled for that and got a 37 which added five to my selling. </p><p> </p><p> Through six rolls, I think I made two good rolls (The 37 and 21), one great roll (the 8) and then the rest was pretty unhelpful (2,4,44)</p>
  5. <p>What does Strong Friendship do? Does it just add a lockerroom chemistry bonus? I've rolled it twice in my Road To GLory series and I have no clue what it actually does. </p><p> </p><p> I thought it'd be like loyalty but I had a strong friendship with someone on my roster and they left for BHOTG as soon as they were offered a contract.</p>
  6. it took me three in-game months from my first 72 until I could break a 75 and when I finally did that, I rolled a 44 and now I'm a comedy wrestler. I didn't even get a 75 for the event because the opening match was a 55 and I got a 68 for the show. It had to go wrong at some point. Also, 5SSW is going out of business in my save. They're thirty grand in debt, I keep trying to buy them since I have 60 grand in the bank but they won't sell up. Jippenisha is a free agent but she wants 1,400 and all the women I've signed from 5SSW so far haven't done great in my company for some reason.
  7. <p>Literally two events after my last update.</p><p> </p><p> <img alt="RTG3.png" data-src="https://i.ibb.co/VW933kb/RTG3.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> I rolled a 21 and pumped Flashiness up from two to seven since I run a Guerilla Warfare company.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> Then about a month after that, I made it to tiny and rolled an 8 and got 56 grand! That was insane and it's allowed me to get TV in June.</p><p> </p><p> I'm losing about two grand a month but I have enough of a bank to hopefully hold me over for a while.</p><p> </p><p> Lady Lotus also got hurt and is out for like nine months which sucks because she's cheap and was doing really well in 5SSW. </p><p> </p><p> I'll probably make small by the end of the summer. This run has been fantastic so far. Japan is a great place to do an RTG at least in the early stages.</p>
  8. Got a 5 on my roll and then a 14 so Kaii Hanarii is now a friend. I wish it was Orange but Kaii ain't bad.
  9. For what it's worth, I'm running 1991 WCW at the moment and I've had maybe one or two negative issues in the seven months I've run so far. I've got Hall, Nash, Honky Tonk, Flair, Sid, and Vader so you'd think maybe one of them would tank the backstage rating but I'm still at 100 percent. I was shocked because I looked at all the negative personalities on my roster and thought I'd have to clean the house but it hasn't happened yet. Plenty of them are pissed off too because of the left off show complaints but no one has started anything so far. I like not having to fire people but is a lot a different from 2016 where I had to fire Hogan in '97 WCW because he was such a nightmare to work with. Granted, I haven't signed Hogan yet so who knows what trouble he'll bring but nothing bad has happened so far.
  10. How do I make my child company run events? They're AI controlled so I don't think it's a hiring issue. I've also given them a referee and a road agent but the company still refuses to run any shows. I've got them on a semi-monthly schedule but whenever an event comes up they don't run it for some reason. It's kind of a waste having all of my guys in developmental and not working.

I feel like such an idiot but that's part of the process of learning a new game I guess.</p>
  12. <p>How do I add a woman's division? Can I do that or what? I'm running WCW in 1991 and if I have women wrestle, I get the "Fans wanted to see men wrestle" penalty.</p><p> </p><p> Do I have to completely change the product to something else or what? I know in the last game I could just change it on the product screen without changing the entire product but I don't have that option now.</p>
  13. My favorite way to play the CVerse. Hopefully, I can finally break the curse.

  15. This is also how they got around in the 80s. Flair and Dusty really didn't have that many singles matches, it was mostly Dusty/Koloff vs Anderson/Flair or Dusty/Road Warriors Vs Arn/Tully/Flair. Using multi-mans also has the advantage of making it easier to increase popularity for your lesser stars.
  16. I'm pretty sure every single one of my modern saves turned into AEW at one point. In my 2014 TNA save, I had the Bucks, Cody, Jericho, Moxley, Taylor, Hagger, and Jim Ross in the company at the same time.
  17. It has to be All In for me. I'm someone who watched PWG since Human Tornado was champion so seeing Excalibur call a nationally televised PPV was amazing. I think it's easy to forget but I remember when PWG on its really high run in 2012/2013, I would tell people about how great of a commentator he was and people didn't 't believe it. There was a time in wrestling where a large portion of people in the know despised Excalibur and now he's probably the second-best commentator in the sport next to Kevin Kelly. It wasn't just a big moment for Excalibur though, It was also a huge moment for indie wrestling as a whole. I started watching wrestling in 1998 and I was around for the dark period of the WWE in the late-2000s/Late-2010s. The only saving grace that the company had back then was Daniel Bryan and CM Punk. Two guys who had crafted themselves in ROH and IWA: MS. And it's good today to see a lot of indy guys get chances in the WWE but with AEW and All In, It's just different. It feels more authentic then what the WWE is. Honestly, before All In and AEW started I almost left the sport. Despite my love of NJPW, I had honestly lost a lot of my passion for the industry but AEW reignited a lot of old feelings from my childhood at All In and then Double Or Nothing. I understand there's a lot of people who don't love AEW but to me, it's like a childhood wish come true. I grew up with guys like Chuck Taylor, like Kenny Omega, like Christopher Daniels, Like Colt Cabana and Jack Evans.
  18. Failed Road To Glory Attempt #971. Either that or a failed Local To Global game.
  19. Depending on what year that match took place in, I'd say that's far from shocking.
  20. No. What happens is I fall in love with a guy in the game then I go watch some of his matches and remember why I despised him in the first place.
  21. <p>I really hope it makes a return because that board is incredibly helpful in making long-term booking decisions. That's the only way I know how to book promos honestly. It'd be super annoying if that feature just disappeared.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> Anyways, Here's my current save:</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> <img alt="Wg1Vw12.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/Wg1Vw12.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> <img alt="zPlmgxV.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/zPlmgxV.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> <img alt="2wty25g.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/2wty25g.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> <img alt="sDVOHkB.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/sDVOHkB.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>

I look at it as almost realistic (with the lack of available regional broadcasters not with standing). It shouldn't be an easy climb from regional to cult. I look at how many Indy companies run just around me that do fairly decent business, but there is no way they'd get TV unless it was a local station, they wouldn't get say TV in Michigan when the run in the middle of nowhere Indiana.<p> </p><p> Though I do think with the new sizes and the new requirements to go up in size, it will change that feeling.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><p> The problem with that is that the internet in TEW doesn't work at all like how it does in real life. For some reason, you don't get any money for having your shows on the internet which isn't true at all for a lot of wrestling promotions.</p><p> </p><p> NJPW makes a ton of money off NJPW World and AEW makes money off of BR Live/FiteTv.</p><p> </p><p> Granted, when TEW 2016 came out streaming platforms weren't as popular as they are but it's something that takes me out of playing regional promotions because it's totally unrealistic. Even Chikara has its own streaming site at this point.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> Of course, you could start your own broadcaster with a subscription service but that cost millions of dollars in TEW when it obviously doesn't in real life.</p>
