  2. First Year done in my Road To Glory TVerse Save. I choose the Thunderverse because it's the one I've had the most success in Road To Glory and I'm not sure anyone else has done the challenge there. Skills At The Start: Skills After A Year: Finances After A Year: In terms of growth, the company went from 58th in the world to 28th which is pretty good. We're not far away from TV which is making me nervous because we can't get a TV deal until we go regional which I'm scared will put us back into debt. I also really need to retool the roster because Izumi is putting up 70 in-ring performances but his highest-rated match is a 64 because the people he's wrestling are terrible for the most part. The biggest shock to me so far is that my safety rating didn't effect anything up until my last match of the year. I went 46 matches without hurting anyone with a starting safety rating of 0. My roll was Which is incredibly unuseful to me. I already have a 100 in legit performances and my company doesn't use gimmicks anyways. So a 20 to Crazy Performance doesn't help much. Maybe if I end up leaving this company, it'll prove invaluable eventually.
  3. On a scale of 1 to 10, How bad of an idea is it to have Wolf Hawkins beat James Bruce in his first SWF feud? I know Bruce is the "figurehead" but Remo is the real foundation of the company and Bruce is also 43. Hawkins is 31 and he's only 3 points less popular.

I feel like this is somewhat accurate for the Eisens though.</p>
  5. So I hate to bring up an old fight but I think it's worth mentioning, The Cornellverse has a real problem with old wrestlers. I know there's a massive debate about whether or not time decline is real or not but I think it is and I think I can prove it pretty easily. These are the last MOTYs as voted on by the Observer and the age of the participants involved in them at the time they occurred. 2018: Kenny Omega (34) vs. Kazuchika Okada (30) -Two out of three falls match 2017: Kenny Omega (33) Vs Kazuchika Okada (29) 2016: Kazuchika Okada (28) Vs Hiroshi Tanhashi (40) 2015: Shinsuke Nakamura (34) Vs Kota Ibushi (33) 2014: AJ Styles (37) Vs Minoru Suzuki ( 46) 2013: Hiroshi Tanahashi (38) Vs Kazuchika Okada (26) 2012: Hirohsi Tanahashi (37) Vs Minoru Suzuki (44) 2011: CM Punk (33) Vs John Cena (34) 2010: The Undertaker (45 ) Vs Shawn Michaels (45) 2009: The Undertaker (44 ) Vs Shawn Michaels (44) So of the last twenty people involved in the Match Of The Year, Only seven were over the age of forty when the match took place. So 35% percent which isn't terrible but that's only one measurement. Let's see what percentage of wrestlers of the year were over 40 in the last ten years. Since some people have problems with The Observer, I'll also use PWI's ranking as well. 2018: WON WOTY: Kenny Omega (34) PWI #1: Kenny Omega (34) 2017: WON WOTY: Kazuchika Okada (29) PWI # 1: Kazuchika Okada (29) 2016: WON WOTY: AJ Styles ( 39) PWI #1: Roman Reigns (31) 2015: WON WOTY: AJ Styles (35) PWI #1: Seth Rollins (30) 2014: WON WOTY: Shinsuke Nakamura (33) PWI #1: Daniel Bryan (33) 2013: WON WOTY: Hiroshi Tanahashi (37) PWI #1: John Cena (36) 2012: WON WOTY: Hiroshi Tanahashi (36) PWI #1: CM Punk (34) 2011: WON WOTY: Hiroshi Tanahashi (35) PWI #1: The Miz (31) 2010: WON WOTY: John Cena (34) PWI #1: AJ Styles (33) 2009: WON WOTY: Chris Jericho (39) PWI #1: HHH (40) I feel like this is pretty conclusive. Only a single wrestler has been ranked number one on PWI's top 500 list who was over 40 in the ten last years and no wrestler has won the Observer's wrestler of the year who was over 40 in the last decade. In fact, the last person to win the Observer WOTY who was over 40 at the time they won it was Ric Flair in 1992 and he's the only wrestler over 40 to win the award in its entire 39-year history. I think this proves the common knowledge of wrestling correct, Wrestlers tend to peek in their 30s except for a very small number of outliers who excel into their forties. I feel like Minoru Suzuki and Shawn Michaels ar less examples of the average and more The exception that proves the rule.
  6. I swear to god the NWA World Heavyweight Title is cursed in my TNA 2014 save. I brought it in as the intercontinental championship of TNA and in its three months of existence, Paul London and Andrade Almas have gotten hurt feuding for the thing. Paul London tore his Bicep feuding with Cody (The Inaugural Winner of the belt) which led to him being replaced by Almas. Almas actually won the belt as a replacement only to then CRACK HIS SKULL OPEN against ADR and AJ Styles in a tag match. Almas is going to miss Slammevirsy due to this which sucks. He would've been champion and defended it in the co-main if it hadn't been for freakin' ADR. This sucks.
  7. The last month in my TNA Save, Mike Tenay died which made me sad but I thought I had fired him already. Apparently I hadn't because I just noticed that his death is effecting my backstage rating and his employment history goes all the way up until last month. I feel terrible that we didn't do a tribute show or a ten-bell salute at the very least. I had no idea he was still with the company. Meltzer must've crapped on me so hard in the Observer. Everyone must be so furious with TNA right now. I got this company to number one in the world and I got 100 prestige but I just pulled the ultimate LOLTNA move by complete accident.
  8. TNA April 2014-July 2016 TNA Knockouts: I had no idea about the weird run Hojo had between November 2014 and October 2015 until I looked at the history of the belt for this thread. TNA X-Divison: TNA Tag Team: TNA World Heavyweight Championship:
  9. +1 That's traditionally how retirements work in Japan and it makes the most sense because Baba put himself in tag matches a lot towards the end of his career.
  10. After two in-game years and 13 99 A* matches I finally have gotten a 100 rated match. With Cody Rhodes in it no less. I have a roster with CM Punk, Bryan Danielson, Samoa Joe, Will Ospreay, Ricochet, Kevin Steen, Austin Aries, Sami Zayn, Johnny Gargano and KENTA yet Cody Rhodes is one of the first people to get a 100 rated match. I'm pretty sure this isn't even going to win match of the year but atleast I had one five star match in this run.

The worst match on this set is actually that Zayn/Ricochet match because it ends in DQ when KENTA attacks Zayn. It's kind of weird that that's our highest rated X Division match ever.</p>
  12. <p>Is there any reason a companies matches would be capped at 99? </p><p> </p><p> My company has had six 99 rated matches in the last four or five months but I can never seem to get a 100.</p><p> </p><p> I've tried using Epic and Spectacle match notes but that hasn't worked. I've tried running a cool down match before the match. </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> Could it be my road agent? I'm looking at my dirtsheet stuff and I have no negatives. It actually says my road agent gave the match a bonus but I still only got a 99,</p>
  13. I've noticed in my current 2014 Real World Save that I almost never have a match go less then ten minutes. Even High Spots or Steal the shows matches usually go 13 or 14 minutes. It's only when I have a really loaded show that I'll cut any match lower then ten minutes and that happens every two months or so. I'm not sure if it's just my real life preference for long, epic NJPW/AJW-Style matches or if it's a game mechanic thing because I do know I've never gotten high ratings for sub-ten minute matches. That could just be me booking things incorrectly or the style of promotion I tend to run.

Joe Vs Punk is a natural feud and that was his first big feud in TNA . They also had Jeff Hardy at the time which is another feud that was a massive part of Punk's career. I haven't really run Punk Vs Hardy because of how iconic but it makes sense to me that Punk would come to TNA to continue that feud.</p><p> </p><p> My version of TNA is just a more well-produced version of ROH with Aries,Hero, Zayn, Steen, Punk, Low Ki, Homicide, Christopher Daniels, Davey Richards, Eddie Edwards and Joe at the top.</p><p> </p><p> He fits in right along with that whole group.</p><p> </p><p> Also, writing all of those names out there made me realize just how many ROH guys our currently in my version TNA and being pushed heavily right now.</p><p> .</p>
  15. <p>Something weird and terrible just happened.</p><p> </p><p> Low Ki was in a big feud with Homicide against Sami Zayn and Chris Jericho in my TNA save. He randomly tore his meniscus on a throwaway TV main event but he's working through it even though it's a year long injury and he has no surgery options to get it repaired.</p><p> </p><p> It's not a huge loss because Low Ki was never going to challenge for the World Title or anything but he was a solid hand in my upper midcard.</p><p> </p><p> I don't know what I'm going to do with the tag belts. Jericho is too old to hold onto for them to any serious length time and Zayn is one of my up and coming Main eventers.</p><p> </p><p> This really threw a wrench in my midcard plans for atleast a year.</p>
  16. <p>"The main event of our biggest show of the year was CM Punk Vs Samoa Joe. It's been fun so far and I'm really looking forward to the rest of my TNA run.</p>
  18. <p>I somehow ended up with a Four Horsemen of Ric Flair, Tully Blanchard, Shawn Michael's and Bret Hart.</p><p> </p><p> So it's in the 1992 Database where Blanchard was available to hire and Flair was feuding with Hogan so I brought Blanchard into help Flair beat up Hogan. Then HBK won the Rumble with Hogan defeating Flair for the vacant WWF title.</p><p> </p><p> And The Undertaker beat Bret Hart for the IC title with Hart turning heel the next night by attacking Savage because I needed something for Savage/Hart to do and that seems like a good match.</p>
  19. <p>Freakin' Inoki dropped dead in my 2002 TNA save. This is the second time he's randomly dropped dead in one of my long-term saves. In my two year WCW save in the '97 database, he dropped dead six months in</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> What is it with this guy and dying unexpectedly in my games?</p><p> It's even more ridiclous because this time he died of a drug overdose. At like fifty seven</p>

A mix between the two would have been great. The great thing about 2016’s way is that it forced you to make stars or sign some if you were going head to head with another company.
