Calling it now- Jinder Mahal is going to win the King Of The Ring.
-
go to your control panel (the "user cp" link), click "edit options", scroll down to "thread display options" and then check the box next to "Show Images (including attached images and images in code)"
Thank you!

I've JUST now found out that you can allow images to display on these forums so that you don't have to individually click on each link one at a time.
That'll make looking through these threads much easier.
WHAT?!? Please, could you share your wisdom? I'd love to know the secret.
-
Oh, I forgot to share this. In the men's room, I overheard some fellas talking about an Elite Whiskey.
"Ten dollars a shot! Can you believe that?"
"What would an Elite Whiskey even taste like?"
Me: "It's probably got an overbooked finish."

Jericho's line about not hearing Lambert might have been legit.
Trust me, it was.

On my way home now. Great show. And as I step outside the building, I run into Alex Reynolds and John Silver. *SQUEE!*

Buddy Matthews tweeted out a Joker card and then deleted it leading to speculation that he's the mystery entrant in the Casino Ladder Match.
As much as I enjoy Buddy and Bray, I hope it's Hangman.
Especially with two other mystery people showing up to face the Lucha Bros for the AAA tag titles.
I just don't want there to be an over saturation of surprise signings in a short period.
Again, Page makes the most logical sense. It ties in to the long slow burn story they've been doing, he's been off TV long enough, and the first Dynamite after Full Gear (presumably the event that would have the title match) is in his home state, so he'd come out as the champion hometown hero.
Whatever they do, if it's not going to be CM Punk (and if it were, that's something they should announce ahead of time), then they need to have him on earlier in the show and make it clear that he's not going to be in the match. Whoever the Joker is, you don't want CM Punk chants threatening to hijack the match.

Alright, got my ticket printed out for tomorrow night, can't wait!

Going by cagematch Brian Cage and Ethan Pge debuted in the last 2 ladder matches.
Yes, but neither were officially Jokers. I am technically correct, the BEST kind of correct.
Anyway, kidding aside, there aren't that many big free agents left, and if they have any big signings, it might be smart to hold off a bit. Besides, we're long overdue for some cowboy *steam whistle*.
-
The Joker is always a new debut.
The last Casino Ladder Match didn't actually have a Joker, as they didn't do the suit thing.
-
I literally groaned out loud when Paul Heyman said "Suplexorcist".
-
I bet Hangman is the Joker in the Casino Ladder Match next week
It makes perfect sense. The Dynamite after Full Gear is in Virginia, and that's his home state. He's also the only wrestler featured on the poster for that show.

The Sammy title switch is perhaps the dumbest one I've seen in a while. Dudes like 30-25 and hasn't come out ahead in a single feud yet.
Aside from Shawn Spears, you mean?
I don't mind, because going into the TNT tournament, Cody's record wasn't all that great either, with big losses to Jericho and MJF in recent memory.
-
Didn't they do an escalator spot in the Young Bucks/ Butcher & Blade match?
-
Full Gear is in Minneapolis and there's a fan movement for AEW to hold Dynamite and/or Rampage at Mall of America.
Mall of America already said they'd be down.
If they don't make it a special episode called "Brawl At The Mall", they are leaving money on the table.
-
I don't see any value in TV time for people in bad angles that can't go anywhere and make them look like goofballs. Private Party beat the Young Bucks 2 years ago on TV in a solid 20min TV ME, look at where they are now?
Consistently on television?
-
Zero pop? I was hearing the crowd chant "Homicide".
-
I don't know if you've noticed. But they're in a wrestling TV war, and they've already got NBC's money.
Well, if the goal was to put on a show that rivaled anything AEW had this week, then they did a poor job of it, as it was fair to middling.
-
But he's also the same guy who still owns the best match in the company's history
Second best. But don't take my word for it. (Though admittedly, I do question them putting the Dark Order vs. MJF and Santana & Ortiz so high. I loved it, it was arguably my favorite match of the Brodie Lee Tribute, but better than the Parking Lot Brawl or Britt vs Thunder Rosa?)

Is it me, or has the Extreme Rules go-home show edition of Smackdown not really focused on Extreme Rules all that much?
-
Cody is a heel for me since he got that neck tattoo
Being from Philly, I've considered Cody a heel ever since he said Tom Brady was his favorite football player.
-
Yeah, it's well past time to turn Cody heel. Either on his own or rejoining the Elite, I think that's the way forward, as they've exhausted pretty much everything he can do as a face at the moment.
Besides, heel Cody can challenge for the World title. "Yeah, I said I'd never challenge. Guess what? I LIED."
-
Does anyone else get the feeling that they meant for the main event to end in DQ and only just realized during the match that it's a Triple Threat and there are no DQs?
-
Hell, if Shawn and Bret can put aside their differences for a bit....
