  1. My picks: Randy Savage, Lex Luger and Ricky Steamboat, Faces of Fear (c), Lord Steven Regal, Steve Austin, and Diamond Dallas Page...
  2. I think Sting is playing a con--fooling the NWO into thinking he's with them but, at Superbrawl, he'll turn on them when they least expect it. And the crowd will go absolutely nuts... Never trust a scorpion, NWO, because you will get stung...
  3. My picks: Shawn Stasiak, Lance Storm, Kanyon, and Booker T...
  4. I'm sorry to hear that. She lived a long and, hopefully, good life. I do hope you keep this going, though--this is an excellent diary...
  5. My picks: Cobra, Diamond Dallas Page, Alex Wright, Harlem Heat, Brian Pillman, Ric Flair, and the Hulkamania Alliance (Lex Luger, Hulk Hogan, Randy Savage, & Sting)...
  6. My picks: Big Van Vader, Sting, Nobuhiko Takada, Ric Flair, Powerhouse Simmons, Rick Rude, Bam Bam Bigelow, and Brian Pillman...
  7. I must say that Wendi Richter coming back and calling out Vince for the original screwjob was not what I saw coming when I started reading this diary. Or Eddie Gilbert showing up in the WWF... If Richter had done this promo during the Attitude Era anywhere in Canada, the crowd would cheered, especially in Montreal, after what happened to Bret Hart...
  8. My picks: Nikolai Volkoff, The Hart Foundation & The Dream Team, "JYD" The Junkyard Dog, "Mr. Wonderful" Paul Orndorff, "Rowdy" Roddy Piper, "Macho Man" Randy Savage, and Hulk Hogan (c)... The answers to the questions are: Hercules Hernandez, Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat, and the debuting tag team is the Fabulous Freebirds...
  9. Like how you hinted at Kerry's winning the NWA title in May of 1984 against Ric Flair IRL (it was supposed to be David, but he died in Japan in February of 1984--there's a YouTube clip of the WWF acknowledging David's death) and Ric Flair's work with WCW (his long matches with Sting, Lex Luger, Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat, etc.)... In hindsight, Ric Flair should have been considered a favorite to win the 1992 Rumble, given his history of long matches in the NWA/associated organizations (he wasn't known as the "60-Minute Man" for nothing--a term Flair likely coined himself, IIRC)...
  10. My picks: Scott Steiner, Harlem Heat, Fit Finlay, Perry Saturn, Randy Savage, and Steve Austin...
  11. My picks: Ric Flair, Scott Steiner, Big Van Vader, Sting, Powerhouse Simmons, Bam Bam Bigelow, Ricky Steamboat, and Brian Pillman...
  12. Yeah, Verne finally did the right thing. Hope the AWA can succeed (one of Verne's problems was not letting go of the past--I remember Super Sunday 1983, when he didn't let Hogan win the AWA championship; Hogan, thankfully, then left for the WWF, where Vince Jr. realized what he had in Hogan and rode all the way to the top of the wrestling world with Hogan at the helm)...
  13. My picks: Duke Myers, Joe LeDuc, The Kelly Twins, Vic Rossitani, Igor Putski, Michele Richard (C), Renee Martel (C), Fidel Castillo & Michel "Le Justice Dubois (C), Bruno Sammartino (C), and Johnny Rougeau (C)...
  14. Bret Hart, Lex Luger and Sting, The Great Muta, The Demolishers, Eddie Guerrero, and Ric Flair...
  15. My picks: Dean Malenko (c), Scott Norton, Eddie Guerrero, Diamond Dallas Page, Kevin Nash, Harlem Heat, Steve Austin, Buff Bagwell, and Hollywood Hogan (c)...
  16. My picks: Faces of Fear, Disco Inferno, Jushin Thunder Liger, Johnny B. Badd, Steve Austin, and Vader (c)...
  17. My picks: The Demolishers, Scott Norton, The Great Muta, Sabu, and Roddy Piper...
  18. My picks: Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart and Koko B. Ware, The Beverly Brothers w/The Genius, Bret "Hit Man" Hart (C), Legion of Doom (C), and Ric Flair will win. My guess for the mystery entrant is The Ultimate Warrior. The winner will pick #2. The Final Four: Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair, Sid Justice, Randy Savage... The runner-up is Hulk Hogan...
  19. My picks: Scott Steiner, Lex Luger, Lord Steven Regal, Bunkhouse Buck and Dirty Dick Slater, Fit Finlay, and Arn Anderson...
  20. My picks: Julie Payne, Claire Lepage, and Jumbo Miyamoto, Sally Vega and Lita Marez (C), Georgia Hase and Judy Sowinski (C), Judy Arnold (C), Betty Niccoli (C), and Renee Martel...
  21. My picks: Lex Luger, Benoit and Malenko, Arn Anderson, The Giant, Harlem Heat, and Randy Savage...
  22. Wonder if Ric Flair will win after drawing an early number, just like RL--his performance at the 1992 Royal Rumble IRL to win the title was impressive (of course, WCW fans had seen him go the distance with Lex Luger, Sting, Terry Funk, Ricky Steamboat, etc.), IMO... About the only thing Ric Flair didn't do IRL at the Royal Rumble was somehow get busted open (that's another trait of his)...
  23. My picks: Claire Lepage, Renee Martel, Tonette Kadrmas, Ann Casey, Patty Stevens, The Sisters of Love (C), and Betty Niccoli (C)...
