Gorgon proved she still had what it takes to be champion even if she did have to fight for it. Yuma mounted an early offense but Gorgon’s toughness helped the larger woman weather the attacks. It wasn’t until Kiko went to the top rope for a few risky moves that the balance tilted to her. Tomoko was forced to the top rope and Kiko hit the Bubblegum Pop, Top Rope DDT.
Kit Hatoyama over Shiroi Jippensha
Kit had a rough start to the match and Shiori showed she was up to taking advantage of her distracted opponent. The two put on the match of the night giving the fans a fast paced and intense battle of chained ground moves. We started off the month by selling out the Doshisha Athletic Center, filling all 1000 seats. After the attack by Gorgon buzz is the fans can’t wait for a title rematch and as the race for the tag team titles heats up there’s been an equal split as to who thinks The Rainbow Girls will get the shot and who thinks former champs All Business will.
OOC: I got promoted at my job and then all the other managers went on vacation. But I'm back in the saddle now. I have quite a few shows already run that just need write ups so you can expect to see a lot of shows real soon.

Live from Hofu Arena Chugoku Region Wednesday Week 1 May 2007 Maximum Overdrive Tour Show 14 Ikuko Temko versus Chitose Ariwara Ikuko and Chitose have both been whipping posts of the upper card and with Chitose taking a loss to Tsuki Kawamata recently that put her on the way bottom of the Barrel. As the lower card continues to fid it’s pecking order Ikuko and Chitose meet up in heated battle to not be the lowest of the low. Raku Makuda versus Otsune Tsumura Monday Kiko and Tomoko with Kiko taking the win on Wednesday their partners will meet up. With a win by Otsune The Rainbow Girls will again be the number one team. A win by Raku will put both teams even and leave no clear contender for the 5SSW Tag Team Titles. Huntress Makiko versus Joanne Rodriguez Joanne took a beating on Monday from Gorgon but that apparently won’t hold her back as she takes on Huntress Makiko. Makiko is an obvious hired gun for Gorgon and even if she can’t beat J-Ro it is expected that she will try and inflict as much damage as she possibly can. Gorgon versus Megumi Nakajima For the 5SSW All-Asian Title Gorgon continues to defend her title as a strong champion giving a Megumi Nakajima so far her second shot this tour. Megumi has definitely proved a tough adversary for a lot of the upper and midcard but she can just never seem to put away her opponents. If she has finally gotten her act together this could mean the first championship for Nakajima. Shiori Jippensha versus DEVIL Karube DEVIL Karube continues to ravage her way through opponents, obviously still irate over losing the best of seven to Kit Hatoyama. Shiori Jippenhsa has never been just another victim to anyone and has steadily made the lower card tap out to her JIppensha Leglock although she has yet to take a big upper or midcard win. Main Event Destruction Inc versus Intercontinental Flight Sensational Thunder has been taking a few wins including over newly formed Intercontinental Flight. Destruction Inc looks to duplicate this feat showing that they are just as good as Hike and Ogiwara. Full Card Ikuko Temko versus Chitose Ariwara Raku Makuda versus Otsune Tsumura Huntress Makiko versus Joanne Rodriguez Gorgon versus Megumi Nakajim Shiori Jippensha versus DEVIL Karube Destruction Inc versus Intercontinental Flight

What the Huntress didn’t expect was an early second wind for Joanne who then controlled the rest of the match beating Makiko within an inch of her life. Live from Doshisha Athletic Center Kinki Region Saturday Week 1 May 2007 Maximum Overdrive Tour Show 15 Huntress Makiko versus Tsuki Kawamata One of 5SSW’s biggest shows in recent memory begins with Huntress Makiko taking on Tsuki Kawamata. The lower card has in recent days been setting up a pecking order and both Tsuki and Ikuko have beaten Chitose Ariwara now it’s the Huntress’ turn to show her stuff and carve out her place. Shiori Jippensha versus Chitose Ariwara Shiori Jippensha faces off against seemingly constant opponent Chitose Ariwara. Ariwara is so far two and zero against Jippensha and at the bottom of the lower card barrel but a win over Jippensha who has dominated the entire lower card could mean a good turn for the bubbly youngster. Gorgon versus Ikuko Temko For the 5SSW All-Asian TItle Gorgon and her title are at it again in a battle against one half of Seek & Destroy, Ikuko Temko. Gorgon has already defended her title ten times and one of those against Ikuko already so at this point she seems next to unstoppable. Megumi Nakajima versus Joanne Rodriguez This will be the second meeting between Megumi Nakajima and Joanne Rodriguez with the first going to J-Ro. Both women have shown a lot of stamina and skill in the ring and this could really be anyone’s match. Raku Makuda versus Saori Nakadan Raku took a singles win against Otsune of The Rainbow Girls Wednesday but on Saturday she faces off against one half of the 5SSW Tag Team champions, Saori Nakadan. The Bomb Squad has been dominant as a tag team so a win for Raku could mean a title shot at weakened champions. Saeko Hiroyuki versus Kiko Sakakibara Kiko was the winner of her match against Tomoko of All Business and as with Rauk she get’s her shot at one half of the 5SSW Tag Team champions, Saeko Hiroyuki. This is a chance for the Rainbow Girls to get a title shot if Kiko gets a win while Raku doesn’t. Connie Morris versus Kit Hatoyama Connie Morris has been showing a lot more to the fans since she’s joined forces with Yuma Maruya. She specifically asked for this match stating she wanted to try her hand against one of the best women wrestlers of all time and a true sportswoman Kit Hatoyama. Kit gladly accepted and great things are expected from this match up. Destruction Inc. versus Sensational Thunder Things have been heating up between the four top workers in the company and since they’ve both paired off into their respective teams again it’s only gotten hotter. After a Brutal attack Destruction Inc. has gotten another shot at Sensational Thunder and it’s anyone’s guess as to who will come out on top. Full Card Huntress Makiko versus Tsuki Kawamata Shiori Jippensha versus Chitose Ariwara Gorgon versus Ikuko Temko Megumi Nakajima versus Joanne Rodriguez Raku Makuda versus Saori Nakadan Saeko Hiroyuki versus Kiko Sakabara Connie Morris versus Kit Hatoyama Destruction Inc. versus Sensational Thunder

You can already announce non-title matches or something. Obviously Karube vs Hatoyama... :P I recommend a 2 our of 3 falls match (lucha libre in the game)

As things deteriorate between occasional allies we are left with the knowledge that when shooting for a title you are truly alone. Karube seems dead set on ending Hatoyama one way or another and the fans look forward to when they are allowed to eventually meet in the ring. More than half of the second month over and no announced matches for the final show of the tour it seems either exact decision haven’t been made or things are still unfolding. According to some fans Kit and DEVIL will be meeting up again and Joanne seems most likely to be getting a title shot at Gorgon. With two viable teams contending for the 5SSW Tag Titles and three women dead set on a 5SSW World Title shot it’s anyone’s guess as to who we’ll see face the champs at the end of the month.

This match sees the veteran Seek & Destroy take on the newly formed team of International Flight. Raku Makuda versus Kiko Sakakibara Both Raku and Kiko lost last week leaving no clear contender to the title. Gorgon versus Kit Hatoyama For the 5SSW All-Asian TItle Gorgon has agreed to a match against Kit Hatoyama for her 5SSW All-Asian title. Last time Huntress lost but both women have shown incredible growth in skill. A tough battle will be fought but only one victor will emerge. Tomoko Nagatsuka versus Otsune Tsumura Kiko Sakakibara beat out Raku Makuda on Monday but today Tomoko Nagatsuka and Otsune Tsumura go at it. A win by Otsune gives The Rainbow Girls claim to a title shot. A win by Tomoko stil leaves things up in the air. Chitose Ariwara versus Joanne Rodriguez J-ro’s loss to DEVIL Karube two days ago was just a minor set back. This week Rodriguez takes on Chitose Ariwara in an attempt to rebuild some momentum and get her closer to another title shot for the 5SSW All-Asian title. Gorgon versus Connie Morris For the 5SSW All-Asian Title Gorgon took a cheap loss last week obviously getting herself disqualified to retain her title against Kit Haotyama. Gorgon meets up with Connie Morris next and Connie will be no push over either. DEVIL Karube versus Yuma Maruya DEVIL Karube accepted for another best of seven and she gets a warm up match against former 5SSW All-Asian champ, Yuma Maruya. A win for DEVIL could set up a a win at the next best of seven. A loss for Karube will definitely bode ill for her chances of redemption. Sensational Ogiwara versus Thunder Hike For the 5SSW World Title Sensational Ogiwara promised former partner Thunder Hike a title shot stating that Hike has shown the proper respect for the title and the ring and deserves a shot. This will be Ogiwara’s first title defense this tour and we have yet to see if she can win when it counts. Tsuki tapped out to the Jippensha Leg Lock, taking yet another loss.
Megumi Nakajima over Huntress Makiko
Not to be out done by her opponent for 5SSW Speed Freaks Megumi Nakajima work rings around Huntress Makiko. They had neither good nor bad in ring chemistry but the fans just didn’t like the mix of technical versus aerial that these two athletes were brining. Tsumura took the win with the Flying Legcrop, a move we haven’t seen from her in awhile.
Saeko Hiroyuki over Kiko Sakakibara
Saeko and Kiko made up for the previous match and giave the 5SSW Tag Team match and Speed Freak. Both women really gave the crowd a show keeping it mostly fast and aerial until the end of the match when Kiko showed her ground work, focusing on Saeko’s right leg. The finisher of the match was the Hiroyuki Bomb, giving Saeko the win while still limping around on the isolated leg.
Gorgon over Joanne Rodriguez For the 5SSW All-Asian Title
Win number two for Gorgon in a match that just did not meet the standards of previous matches against J-Ro. The match was intense but the spots were few and far between, timed to perfection for nice peaks in the match up. Hike took a massive Lariat and was dazed getting up and walked right into the Skull Crusher Piledriver.
Main Event Kit Hatoyama over DEVIL Karube Best of Seven II Match 5
The fans came to see one thing and they got exactly what they came to see. Kat Hatoyama and DEVIL Karube went all out in a match that at some points seemed to be a blur of motion. The spot of the night was Kit Hatoyama doing a 360 degree flip off the top rope to the outside right on DEVIL Karube. The match lasted a little while longer after the big move and Kit took her win apparently because she had just a little more energy then DEVIL. Karube stumbled into the Hatoyama Driver and Kit barely had the wherewithal to crawl into the cover.
Shiori Jippensha over Tuski Kawamata – D Megumi Nakajima over Huntress Makiko – C Otsune Tsumura over Saori Nkadan – D+ Saeko Hiroyuki over Kiko Sakakibara – B- Gorgon over Joanne Rodriguez – C- Crusher Ichihara over Thunder Hike – B Kit Hatoyama over DEVIL Karube – B+ Overall Rating: B We keep blowing them out of the water at the Doshisha Athletic Center, playing once again to a sold out crowd.
