America doesn't even have socialized medicine. We're about as far right as a country can get while still having a sustainable economy.
if you knew anything about socialism or any other political movement other than what the media feeds you. THEN you might understand what I'm talking about.

Random Thoughts: The only reason most people keep guns (other than to collect or for sport) is as self defense. However, if people didn't have guns, they wouldn't be neccessary as self defense. (Seeing as an attacker wouldn't have one.) So, therefore, it's a messed up paradox. (I apologize if my theory is flawed, I'm tired and can't find loop holes at this moment) Also, the 2nd Amendment is semi-irrelevant now as some said because we aren't going to be attacked by the red coats anytime soon. Plus, it doesn't say "We all get guns" like those crazy NRA people seem to think...

Plus, quoting the constitution/amendments isn't really providing an answer to a problem because not every situation could be accounted for when they were written. A local law here says that I have to pay the baron/lord of the land three pigs and a chicken every month. Is that something I do? Nope, because a law written in 1376 (or whenever it was) is no longer of any relevance. Laws have to change with the times.
Eh. I don't like arguing. Most people will look down on me for this. I'm a hunter have been for years. Never hunted for the "trophey" always hunt for the meat. I agree their should be some guns banned. I also agree that stricter gun laws in America won't necisarily cut down on these types of things from happening.
In terms of hunting for meat, that I don't have a major drama with. It's the philosophy of shooting for game, a bit of fun, I don't see how that could be. Just my greeney look at things :-)

One of the things I don't get is why did he go after "rich kids", wasn't he studying himself? I mean, really, the only reason you put yourself through tertiary education is to cash in on the other side in high jobs with room to move - that's the only reason I'm doing it at a late stage in life.

I just read the kids play, and as someone with a masters in literature, I have to say.... Terrible. The content doesn't bother me, as I've read plenty of books that cover the topics included. It's the dialogue and characters. Somehow he makes the paedophile dad a rather sympathetic character at the beginning, which is just plain stupid. My favourite line is "come on, let's go up stairs and do it doggy-style, like you like it." I get the feeling he was probably jacking off whilst writing that. It's a sad indictment of the American education system if this kid was allowed to study literature!
But you're correct. Those plays ****ing suck.
Did you find that you were kind of on the side of McBeef, even though he was a paedo? That's some pretty horrendous writing, being able to make you main charater less likeable than a kiddy-fiddler! It was just a childish rant that just allowed him to write insulting comments in horrible colloquial language. F- for that one!
