JBL: And No mercy is what's in store for everyone tonight it seems. The card is stacked! Chris Jericho versus the King of the Ring, Ken Kennedy for the Smackdown Title, MVP defending his US title in a triple threat... JR: We also see Matt Hardy challenging for the Raw Title against champion Carlito and a trio of grudge matches in John Cena versus, Randy Orton, Ric Flair versus The Alpha Male Marcus CorVon and Trinitytakes on Lita with her WWE Women's title on the line... Styles: Aren't we forgetting the small matter of the main event? A six man Elimination Chamber match for the ECW Heavyweight title? Talk about No Mercy, that's your No Mercy right there! JR: I can't say I disagree with you there Joey! RATING = B- MATCH 1 Some terrific high flying action to open the show. Both men are evenly matched until Chavo attempts to shift the balance by grabbing his title belt. The referee puts a stop to it and grabs it out of his hands and, while Chavo argues with the ref, Styles takes his chance and shoolboys his opponent. Chavo is taken by surprise and struggles to get out of the pin but to no avail. AJ Styles def. Chavo Guerrero by pinfall to win the WWE Cruiserweight Title in 15:40 RATING = B- AJ Styles celebrates in the ring as the corwd cheers. A stunned Chavo Guerrero walks to the back in silence. RATING = C- We see Val Venis in the back introducing the remaining Diva Search contestants to some of the Smackdown roster including Rey Mysterio and Kane. RATING = C+ A video plays recapping the growing rivalry between WWE Women's champion Trinity and Lita. RATING = D+ Trinity is with Daffney ahead of her match. Trinity: So this is it. Let's get things straight Lita, this isn't about me copying you or you copying me, this is about the WWE Women's Title. You played your little games and gave your little reasons for wanting the match but at the end of the day you just want what every other woman on the WWE roster wants. This title. My title. Well now you get your chance Lita. I'll see you in the ring! RATING = C+ MATCH 2 The ladies themselves aside, there is nothnig pretty about the early going as both eschew wrestling in favour of simply pounding on their opponent. Trinity seems to have an edge in the power stakes and, when the brawling gives way to something resembling a wrestling match, the champion takes a measure of control. Lita isn't out yet as she bails to the outside for a breather. Trinity leans over yelling at her to get back in to which Lita responds by pulling her head down accross the ropes. As a dazed Trinity staggers in the ring, Lita scales the turnbuckle and comes off with the Litacanrana on her opponent. She makes the cover and exploits a badly positioned referee by putting her feet on the ropes for leverage. Trinity tries to kick out by the extra pressure granted Lita keeps her down, barely, for the three count. Lita def. Trinity by pinfall for the WWE Women's Title in 7:35 RATING = C+ Lita quickly grabs her newly won title and bails to the outside. She holds the belt aloft as she backs up the ramp taunting a still recovering Trinity who seethes with barely contained rage in the ring. The tactic appears sound and the screeching at ringside by Angel Williams suggests that all is not going well for the champs. Angel decides to take matters into her own hands, climbing onto the apron and calling Colt over. As she whispers in his ear the referee comes over to get rid of her. With everyone distracted, The Naturals pull egal off the apron to the floor and ram him into the ringsteps. Andy Douglas then yells at Colt who turns and allows Stevens to roll him up with Angel holding his hands to ensure the pinfall. The Naturals def. But every pinfall attempt is kicked out of before three as Flair refuses to go quietly into the night. Soon the "dirtiest player in the game" is taking control via a series of less than legit tactics including finger pokes and low blows. Naitch starts working over the leg of CorVon, softening him up for the figure four as well as trying to negate the Pounce. CorVon gets frustrated at being unable to put away his older opponent and goes out side for a chair. The referee tries to stop him but The Alpha Male waffles Flair with the chair. The bell rings to signal the DQ. Ric Flair def. Marcus CorVon by DQ in 11:01 RATING = B- CorVon continues his assault, laying into Flair with the steel chair as the timekeeper continues ringing the bell. Officials run out to try and stop him from hitting Flair any more and CorVon simply walks away, the damage has been done. He walks back up the ramp pointing to flair and yelling to the fans "has been" as medics come out to tend to the fallen legend. RATING = B MATCH 5 Jim Cornette is conspicuous by his absence at ringside as Shock & Awe are forced to go ahead without his guidance. Cade and Murdoch start out by taunting their opponents of the injury suffered by their manager which earns them both a clothesline out of the ring as the power team stad tall. Things slow down from there as the tag champs seek simply to contain the power of their opponents. In a straight up fight Cade & Murdoch might be considered underdogs but once their experience and willingness to cut corners is factored in, the advantage is all to apparent. They doubleteam Smith in their corner which draws odimer out to protest but as the referee admonishes him the champions strike. Each holing a belt they drill either side of Smith's head before the referee turns. Cades cover is academic. Cade & Murdoch def. Shock & Awe by pinfall to retain the WWE Raw Tag Team Titles in 12:49 RATING = D+ Cade & Murdoch celebrate their success in over the top fashion, hugging one another and dancing around the ring. The US Champ is able to handle them one at a time as they are unable to team up against him. Stephanie McMahon watches on with a smile and the Insurance Policy of Mark Henry isn't needed. MVP puts Psychosis out with a slingshot suplex before finishing things with a Playmaker on Super Crazy. MVP def. RATING = A MATCH 7 Strangely the match starts out calmly with both men breaking when the referee called for it and staying within the rules. All it took was one smartass comment from Orton for it al to fall apart though as both men lunged for one another and went at it tooth and nail. Niceties were thrown out in favour of straight up brawling which led to both men rolling out the ring and fighting at ringside. The referee began his ten count but neither man showed any interest beyond beating the other up. Cena clotheslined Orton over the guardrail and into the crowd before jumping over himself to continue the fight. They had brawled up the stairs and away from the ring by the time the referee counted ten and threw out the match. Randy Orton and John Cena drew by double countout at 13:46 RATING = A* Both men continue brawling as security try to protect audience members from being caught up in the fight. They brawl all the way back down through the crawd and Orton launches Cena back over the barrier onto the entraceway. Cena recovers just in time to meet Orton as he leaps over to continue the fight. They brawl all the way back up the entranceway and into the back with referees, officials and wrestlers trying to break things up. RATING = A* We cut to the back and see Vince McMahon with corporation members and Elimination Chamber participants Batista and Umaga. Vince: Now look, its like I said. It doesn't matter which one of you wins so long as its one of you. Haku, help the champ, keep an eye on Lashley. Don't worry, if you look more likely to win, Batista will do his best to protect you... Batista raises an eyebrow to that. Batista: Look, its like this. I am walking in the champ and I am walking out the champ. You can help me or you can go down like the rest of them. Thhats how its gonna be ok? Umaga: Uuagagshhh shagallarada Armando: Ummm.... yeah... he says that's cool, he's got your back. Umaga: shagubala? ulatabarada! He IS the King... of the Ring and SOON TO BE... the WWE Smackdown Heavyweight Champion.... Misterrrrrrrrr Kennedyyyyyyyyy................ Kennedy..... And his opponent. From somewhere north of the border, weighing in at an unhealthy 231 pounds... he is soon to be the former WWE Smackdown Heavyweight Champion... Chris Jericho. Both men are constantly playing to the crowd during the match with the only difference being that Jericho draws cheers while the King of the Ring elicits boos. This seems to motivate Kennedy all the more however and he displays a pronounced mean streak in his relentless attacks on Jericho. Kicks to the head add injury to insult as Kennedy reminds everyone that he is the King. One kick to many leads to Jericho grabbing hold and reversing into a dragon whip followed up by the Lionsault. 1..2.. No, Kennedy kicks outand the match continues. Kennedy catches Jericho running off the ropes with a samoan drop and takes the chance to hit the Green Bay Plunge but it too only draws a two count. Stunned that his move didn't put Jericho away, Keney again puts the boots in. He picks Jericho up for a powerbomb to finish things but the champ counters it into the Walls of Jericho. Kenedy holds on for as long as he can but when the champ pulls him back into the centre of the ring he has no choice but to concede defeat. Chris Jericho def. Ken Kennedy by submission to retain the WWE Smackdown Title in 19:10 RATING = A* An exhausted Jericho supports himself on the ropes as he celebrates his win. He holds the title high and turn around... straight into a Spear! Edge, reigns punches onto the head and neck of the fallen Jericho before hoisting him up and hitting the Edgucution. The Rated R Superstar then drapes the title belt accross his victim. Edge: Oh I'm glad its you Chris. Your days as champion are few, I'm taking back what is mine! RATING = B+ Daffney is in back with Matt Hardy. Daffney: So this is it Matt Hardy. Your chance to reach the top in a match against Carlito for his WWE Raw Title. The question many people are asking is, can you do it? Hardy: Can I do it? You know I've been asking myself that question these past few weeks. Everybody thinks they have a shot, they wouldn't be here if they didn't, but now its finally here I have to confess to feeling a little bit of doubt. This isn't any match, its a match for the WWE Raw Heavyweight Title. This is the goal of every person entering the wrestling profession. That's a lot of pressure but then I think of all those people who had written me off before I even got to this point. The people who didn't even give me the chance to sink or swim. Well its those people that have motivated me to get this far Daffney, and its those people who are motivating me tonight. Carlito's one of those people, maybe its time I gave him a little education in who Matt Hardy really is! RATING = C MATCH 9 Hardy goes at Carlito like a man with a point to prove and he completely outclasses the champion in the early going. Carlito has to bail to regroup boefore sheer momentum hands Hardy the title on a platter. Back in and a thumb to the eye allows Carlito to take control of Hardy. A Backstabber attmept fails when Hardy backflips over Carlito and hits him in the face with a fistdrop. A charge by Hardy is dodged by Carlito and the unfortunate referee takes the brunt of the blow. Hardy then nailed Carlito with the Twist of Fate and covered. The crowd counted: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6... but the referee was still out cold. Hardy got up to check on theref and try to revive him while Carlito slid out and grabbed the bell. There was a loud clang as Carlito clocked Matt in the back of the head with bell before throwing it to the outside. The champ then slapped the referee to bring him round before covering. The groggy ref was slow on the count but Hardy was out cold and Carlito picked up the win. Carlito def. One of the six will win the ECW Heavyweight Title but all stand to lose a whole lot more, they may even lose their careers. JR: One thing's for sure, nobody is ever the same after a match like this Joey. JBL: Paul Heyman should be fired from his position as ECW General Manager. he is endangering the careers of six of his workers. I for one would refuse to participate in such a brutal match. Styles: Well you know what they say JBL, if you can't stand the heat, stay out of the kitchen. You stay safe and sound on Smackdown and we'll keep the extreme on ECW! The two men slug it out with neither man really gaining an advantage until a charge by the Samoan is countered into a powerslam. Umaga is still fresh though and kicks out at two before continuing the brawl. The lights flash as the next entrant is revealed ad its... Kevin Thorn! Thorn immediately teams up with Umaga in beating on the former ECW champion. Lashley does his best to rally but the odds are against him. A Dark Kiss on Lashley puts him down and Thorne covers but Umaga throws him off wnating the pin for himself. Armando and Ariel argue outside the structure over the miscommunication. The Vampire and the Samoan Bulldozer then come to blows granting Bobby Lashly some much needed respite. Again the lights flash and... CM Punk is the next man in! Punk shows no fear and goes for Umaga as a recovering Lashley faces of with Thorne. A charge by Umaga is lowbridged by Punk and the two continue fighting on the metal area. Thorn and Lashley follow suit and a whip by the vapire is countered sending him crashing into the chainlink wall. Umaga picks Punk up and launches him headfirst into the chamber containing Batista causing him to flinch but the casing holds and Punk crumples on the floor. Once more the lights flash and the fifth man is... Rhyno. The Man Beast goes crazy hitting all four opponents with Gores including an unfortunate Punk who had only just got back to his feet. The match descends into chaos and Batista taunts Lashley from the safety of his pod. Kevin Thorne tries to come off the turnbuckle with a double axe handle to Lashley but he catches the Vapire and brings him down in a thunderous powerslam. The referee counts, 1, 2, 3! Thorn is the first elimination! Punk scales the chain wall and drops down onto the three men below taking them all out. He covers Lashley. 1, 2, no! Kick out at the last second. The lights flash but the final entrant is already known. Batista is just out of the pod when Umaga goes crashing through it after a Spear/Gore combo by Lashley and Rhyno. Batista looks stunned as Lashley goes straight for him. They slug it out as Rhyno covers Umaga. Punk piles on to help pin the Samoan Bulldozer. 1, 2, 3! Umaga is eliminated. Four men left now. Rhyno immediately picks up Punk for a piledriver on the steel floor. Punks head cracks off the floor and he looks to be out cold. Rhyno covers. 1, 2, 3! The bloody mess that is CM Punk is eliminated. Three men remain. Batista begs off as Lashley and Rhyno both go for him. The ECW Champ is beaten all around the chamber by both men and driven head first into the chains. Lashley swings him up for the Dominator but before he can hit it he is driven back into the wall by a Gore from Rhyno. Rhyno's head also hit the wall and he stands dazed for a moment allowing Batista to take advantage. He hoists him up and brings him down hard with a Batistabomb ad covers. 1, 2, 3! Rhyno is gone too! That leaves Lashley and Batsita. Both men are badly beaten though Lashley has been in much longer. Lashley's exhaustion breeds complacence in the Champ and he toys with his prey despite protests from Vince and Shane outside. He hoists lashley up for the Batistabomb but took too long and the challenger recovers, puching Batista repeatedly in the head until he releases him. Lashley then whips Batista back in the ring and launches himself over the rope in a shoulder charge as the champ gets back to his feet. Lashley picks him up once more and kicks him in the gut. Dominator. Cover. 1, 2, 3! Lashley wins! Bobby Lashley def. Batitsa, Umaga, CM Punk, Rhyno & Kevin Thorn by pinfall to win the ECW Heavyweight Title in 28:06 (Punk was off his game. thumbs down for the final; rating, but two thumbs up for a super good ppv. not too fond of Lashey winning the ECW Championship, but I suppose he's probably the most bankable champion on the roster. kennedy vs jericho is a dream match of mine, but a shame kennedy did the job because as you can tell from my game, there's nothing that can stop Kennedy from being the next face of the company IMO, but Jericho is probably in my top 3 favorites of all time, so hopefully this feud continues for a little while? Maybe a match between Edge, Kennedy, and Jericho? I would mark out like MADDD for that! there was a load of great segments though, with the shelley/miz/roni stuff, the goldust/booker stuff, and of course, the mcmahon bits. great PPV, two mega thumbs up amigo
thumbs down for the final; rating, but two thumbs up for a super good ppv. not too fond of Lashey winning the ECW Championship, but I suppose he's probably the most bankable champion on the roster. kennedy vs jericho is a dream match of mine, but a shame kennedy did the job because as you can tell from my game, there's nothing that can stop Kennedy from being the next face of the company IMO, but Jericho is probably in my top 3 favorites of all time, so hopefully this feud continues for a little while? Maybe a match between Edge, Kennedy, and Jericho? I would mark out like MADDD for that! there was a load of great segments though, with the shelley/miz/roni stuff, the goldust/booker stuff, and of course, the mcmahon bits. great PPV, two mega thumbs up amigo
Thanks a lot mate :) I'm not too big on Lashley either but he's in the top five in the overness stakes at the moment so needs must. I'm a mark for Kennedy too (hence the KOTR) but Edge and Jericho are simply on fire and I think there's still mileage there. My five most over workers, in order, Cena (A* nearly everywhere), Orton (all As), Jericho (ditto), Edge (and again) and Lashley with Carlito not far off. Kennedy stalled on his return from injury but he's on track again now. I love me some goofiness hence Booker/Goldust and Regal/Cabana plus I think Miz has potential if done Biff Tannen style (without the muscle!).

That was the month that was... October. - Another strong PPV goes into the books though I am let down by that final rating. As I said, a shuffle of the card might have produced a better overall rating but I was hesitant to put the Chamber match anywhere but last. - TV performance also seems to be improving overall as fans grow to accept the new faces on the roster. - Jeff Hardy is living up to his "problem child" reputation. He'll miss November in its entirety and, if this keeps up, TNA can have him back again. There are plenty of workers ready to take his place. - The new Eugene is getting over so expect to see more of him. - Santino Marella has been away working on a new gimmick. He should be back in the near future. This is pretty much his last chance at the dance as he doesn;t bring a whole lot to the table and is only receiving another go because I felt his original failure was not his fault. - Only Daffney has A* momentum any more (somehow!) but a good few others are riding high on A including Carlito, Edge, Orton, Jericho and Cena which accounts for Raw and Smackdown's main events so all's good there. - The booking team still want the US Title off of MVP. Perhaps they're right. - Eric Bischoff is feeling underused though has no problem collecting a paycheque for such a light schedule, this is especially cheeky when you consider he struggles to appear when he IS needed! The only other complaint comes from Linda McMahon but, seriously, I'm not interested in putting that ratings black hole on TV any time soon. - The booking team are high on Alex Shelley, marking him as a star on the rise. They also see Andy Douglas, but not Chase Stevens, as someone who has a run at the top in his future. However this is the same booking team that consider Justin Credible a top level performer when the crowd reaction says the exact opposite so I take their suggestions with a pinch of salt. - I've spruced up presentation just a little. Hopefully its a step in the right direction. So that's that. Anyone have any suggestions/advice/complaints/criticism/questions/recipies? :)
great PPV but unlucky final rating maybe if you changed the final matches around but i know what you're saying having the chamber last with all the hype you made.
Thanks. I pretty sure its the string of A*s before the main event that caused it. Maybe shuffling Orton v Cena down a couple of places would have helped. Ah well. :)

WWE News: No Mercy, TV deals, Retirements - No Mercy drew an 8.52 PPV buy-rate and a 13,656 live attendance. - Batista sprained his wrist during the Elimination Chamber match last night. He won't miss any ring time but will be taking it easy for the next couple of weeks. - Contract negotiations are underway to extend the broadcast contracts WWE has with Premiere in France, Sky Sports in the UK and The Score in Canada. These negotiations are being treated as formalities as all three networks are said to be extremely pleased with WWE's ratings. - Raw announcer Jerry "The King" Lawler has announced he will be retiring at the end of the month. This news is unlikely to affect WWE programming as, since being locked into an exclusive written deal, Lawler has worked only in an anouncing capacity. Former WWE Women's champion Ivory has also announced her iminent retirement. It is unknown at this time if she will sty on in the company in any capacity although management have been considering a female road agent to monitor the expanding women's division. - In related news, Randy Savage has also announced his retirement from in ring competition. Savage achieved prominence in the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) and later World Championship Wrestling. SOURCE: Clark Griswold
However this is the same booking team that consider Justin Credible a top level performer.
Check my diary mate, they aren't that wrong. ***SPOILERS IN MY DIARY*** See? =P But Andy as a singles wrestler? thanks, I dunno, I just see how many random indy feds that Credible has shown up in, and how he's immediately in the main event, like RoH, WSX, PWU, etc. I failed to see how I couldn't use him well myself. If Matt's getting a main event push, go ahead and kill off Jeff's push. If they think that Shelley should get a push, and if they think MVP should drop the title, then put 1 and 1 together and put the title on Shelley? It'd be a good stepping stone without him shooting straight to the main event. p.s. I like your "month end" review, mind if I "borrow" the concept for my game?

Bischoff: Ladies and gentlemen, Survivor Series is almost upon us. I don;t know about all of you, but its been a fourite of mine. Y'see, I was watching John Cena and Randy Orton go at each other tooth and nail last night, disregarding the rules and fighting to a no contest... And I was... disappointed because you see I was hoping that the match would allow me to pick the number one contender for Carlito's WWE Raw title. Obviously that plan is out the window now but I had another idea. I would let them fight again to determine the number one contendership but since they threw a spanner in the works I won't make it quite so straightforward. Survivor Series is known for its famous Survivor Series match ups, five versus five elimination matches. So I think we'll have one for the contendership. Team Orton versus Team Cena, the winning team earns their captain a shot at the gold. So Cena and Orton? I hope you were paying attention, you have four weeks to convince four people to help you out! If you are successful and win the $250,000 WWE Diva Search, what will you do with your opportunity... Caitlin? Caitlin: Well, its like I said back in day one, I came here to kick ass and take names. My first goal is to win the Diva Search contest but my next goal after that is to win the WWE Women's title! Val: Well well well! That's ambituous there and the Big Valbowski thinks there might be few girls in the back that would have something to ay about that! But I wouldn't rule it out either! Ok, Delilah! How about you? Delilah: Well, I'm a little different, maybe a little spooky, but one things for sure I won't have a hard time finding like minded individuals her in the WWE. I might be speaking for myself but I have no problem accepting ANY pretty young thing if you get my drift... Anyway! Erika, how about you? Erika: Well let's be serious. I'm not strong, or tough. I won't kid myself that I can go toe to toe with the girls who compete day in day out in the WWE. But I am smart and I can be ruthless. When I win the Diva Search I will find me someone who can recognise my talents, someone who wants to go to the top of this business. And I will do whatever it takes to get them there! Val: Hmmm, interesting. Maybe the Big Valbowski recognises a good thing when he sees it... And finally! Monica, what's your response? Monica: What will I do when I win? I don't really know yet, there are so many opportunities to explore. But one thing's for sure: Whatever I do, I'll look damn good doing it! Val: Ow! Good answer! Well there you have it folks. We've waved goodbye to four and now four remain. Its down to you to vote off another of these looovely ladies in this, our penultimate round. Who IS important is my guest tonight on the Cabana. A fellow champion. The figurehead of women's wrestling. LITA! Lita: Thank you Carlito, and congratulations to you too on taking out the trash last night. Carlito: Haha, it was nothing. Really... I'm talking about Trinity of course. Lita: *sigh* Yeah, I guess I can't blame her. I mean if you were Trinity wouldn't you deseperately try to make a better life for yourself? Even if it meant trying to steal that life from someone more successful, more talented and just generally better than you? Carlito: But she went too far no? Lita: God yes. And that's why I had to step in. There is only one Lita and she's sitting here with you now. Her pathetic copycat act was in danger of ruining my own image! I had to remind everyone just how good the genuine article really is. Carlito: And you certainly did that last night! Lita: Haha, yeah believe it! Carlito: Are you worried that she's gonna come after you and your Women;s title now? I mean, Carlito has seen Single White Female, he knows where this kind of thing leads. Even with the crowd firmly behind him, JTG has no answer for the crisp, technical ability of Dykstra. A somersault legdrop from the top rope gives Kenny the clean win. Kenny Dykstra def. Booker: Aw hell dawg, not you again! Sharmell wouldn;t speak to me last night after your trash! Goldust: I just wanted to congratualte you on your win Boooooker... You looked... Magnificent! Booker: Don't say it like that! Goldust: Like what Booker....? Booker: Like that you nutball! Givin' it all "Boooooookeerrrrrrr", y'all are creepin' me out! Goldust: Oh, sorry about that. Look, what I really wanted to talk about was us two teaming up again. We were quite the duo last time weren't we? Remeber Minidust? Booker: Aw hell yeah, what ever happened to him? Goldust: It wa... unpleasant... I;d rather not discuss it... Sharmell come into the lockeroom. Sharmell: Baby you ready yet... What the hell! Goldust: Oh hellooooooo....... Booker: Stop that! Hey baby, I was just comin'... Sharmell: What the hell is he doin' here?! Goldust: We were just remembering old times. Me, Booooker and... Minidust... Sharmell: Mini?! I don't even wanna know! Sharmell storms back out as Booker T runs after her. Booker: Baby wait! I can explain! Goldust: hsssssssssssssssssssss! Miiiiniiiiiiduuuuuusssssst! Nah, doesn't have the same ring... RATING = C- JR: Alright ladies and gentlemen its time for this evening's main event. John Cena takes on the Alpha Male Marcus CorVon. King: Yeah Cena is looking to get a measure of revenge after CorVon did a number on ic Flair's leg last night at No Mercy. JR: That's right, CorVon got more than a little frustrated at his own inability to put the Nature Boy away and opted instead for a brutal shortcut. Coach: Look when someone has momentum behind them, its hard to stop them. Marcus CorVon just put away a bona fide legend in Ric Flair, I don't think John Cena realises what he's let himself in for tonight. RATING = B+ MATCH 8 Lockup to start with neither man gaining an advantage until CorVon opts for the boot to the gut to get things going. The Alpha Male uses his explosive power to keep Cena on the defensive. CorVon goes for the Pounce but Cena sidesteps and sends him into the ringpost to take over. The fan favourite picks apart CorVon with his trademark offense and hoists him up for the FU. He is just about to put CorVon down hard when he is attacked from behind by the Intercontinental champion, Viscera! The bell rings to sound the DQ as the behemoth continues his attack. John Cena def. Marcus CorVon by DQ at 14:32 RATING = A Viscera continues his attack, catching Cena in a powerslam before dragging him to the corner for not one, not two, but three banzai drops. As the monster stands tall over a broken Cena, Randy Orton strolls down to the ring with a mic and a large grin. Orton: Like my surprise Cena? Once I heard Eric Bischoff's announcement I went straight to work. Allow me to introduce my first partner in the Survivor Series match. The WWE Intercontinental Champion, the Behemoth, Viscera! Viscera? Why don't you introduce yourself properly? Viscera drags Cena to the centre of the ring and then launches himself into the air, coming down hard on Cena's chest with a huge splash. The show closes with Cena lying out cold as Orton and Viscera shake hands in te ring. RATING = B FINAL RATING = B- (I'll take that considering the earlier match ratings! Carlito should hopefully sustain Hardy and Orton and Cena can do no wrong lately!)

But we can't dwell on the FAILURES of certain individuals... Vince eyeballs Batista who shuffles uncomfortably. Vince: I knew I should have put myself in that match... But never mind! We need to regroup. We may have lost the ECW title but its time to let Paul Heyman know that we haven't lost the power. Heyman may be the General Manager of ECW but Vincent Kennedy McMahon damn sure rules the roost! Once Dean gets the ball rolling I want us to show just how dominant this corporation is. Lex, I want you and the Lex Express to go out there and destroy Lance Storm. Don't you have a plate in your arm? USE IT dammit! Now lets do this! RATING = B- MATCH 1 Ordinarily this match would be an almost foregone conclusion but Rhyno still shows ill effects from the Chamber match at No Mercy and the bandages the Man Beast wears may as well be targets as far as Striker is concerned. But Rhyno isn't about to lose to a teacher and mounts a comeback. He knocks Striker out of his boots, over the ropes and out to the floor before following him out himself. Rhyno whips his opponent towards the ring steps but Striker is caught... by Umaga who ahs come don to ringside. The Samoan Bulldozer rolls Striker back into the ring where the referee checks on him. While the referee is distracted by Striker, Umaga charges and crushes Rhyno between himself and the security rail. Rhyno slumps to the floor where Umaga hits him with the Samoan Spike to make sure. The referee begins his ten count but it doesn't matter, the beating Rhyno has taken by Umaga leaves him unable to make it back into the ring in time. Matt Striker has defeated Rhyno by countout! Matt Striker def. Rhyno by countout in 8:05 RATING = C- Striker is joined in the ring by Umaga and Armando Estrada to celebrate what has to be considered an upset victory. RATING = C+ MATCH 2 The Masterpiece uses his power in the early going to dominate, obviously motivated by Vince McMahon. Soon however, Lance Storm's experience allows him to evade the powerhouse and he starts to work over the leg of his bigger opponent. A Corporation memeber is never alone it seems though and Shane McMahon runs down to ringside with Armando Estrada. As Estrada tries to get in the ring the referee stops him and sends him to the back. This gives Shane his chance though as he rushes the ring and waffles Storm with a chair before ducking back under the ropes. Masters quickly locks in the Masterlock and the referee checks on Storm who is out of it completely. The referee calls for the bell as Masters is declared the winner by TKO. Chris Masters def. Lance Storm by TKO in 10:50 RATING = D+ Shane holds Masters hand up in celebration as the arena fills with boos and jeers. RATING = C- Taz: Woah, the Corporation are sending a message tonight Paul Heyman! Heyman: Let them have their fun, it won't last. Styles: Well at least our next match doesn't involve any corporate members, Elijah Burke has been out of the fold for some time and CM Punk, well we all know he isn't in the McMahons' good graces! RATING = D+ MATCH 3 Another fine match between these two future cornerstones of the business. Burke may not have enjoyed the comparitive success of Punk but you wouldn't know it from the way he goes at his opponenet in the match. Both men seem evenly matched and the match is a very back and forth affair. A double clothesline puts both men down and the referee starts his count. Both men receive support from the crowd who want to see the match go on for much longer but the Corporation have other ideas as Umaga and Batsita charge the ring. Both Burke and Punk fall victim to an Umaga assisted Batista Bomb as the referee calls the no contest. CM Punk v Elijah Burke ended in a no contest at 12:03 RATING = C+ With both men out cold, the rest of the Corporation swarms into the ring and continue the assault. Punk is held up in the Masterlock as Shane McMahon unleashes a series of punches on his midsection while Burke takes a second rope splash from the Samoan Bulldozer. RATING = C The beatdown is continuing but suddenly the crowd erupt as ECW champion Bobby Lashley steams out from the back and charges the ring. Striker and asters are sent flying over the ropes, followed by Umaga. The champion then trades blows with Batista and looks to be getting the better of him when Shane McMahon cracks him in the back of the head with a chair. The crowd boo as the Corporation regroups and sets about destroying the ECW champion. Lashley takes a Samoan Spike and a Batistabomb before he is held up by Masters for Vince McMahon himself to hit the Stunner! ith the damage done, Vince calls for a mic and turns his attnetion to Heyman. RATING = C+ Vince: Paul Heyman, you think you have the power? THIS! This is power! The Corporation runs ECW whether you like it or not. We might not have the title for now but I can guaran-damn-tee that nothing will happen in this ring without my say so! All you idiots in the audience, you morons watching at home. THIS is the future of ECW. I am going to run you out of business Paul Heyman, if I can't have this company, nobody can! Styles: Vince McMahon has sent a message tonight! Taz: A messgae? This is an ultimatum! Styles: Paul, what will you do? Heyman: NO COMMENT! RATING = B FINAL RATING = C+ (SSSSSSSSSS! Ah well, I wanted the show to be this story. A bit disappointed with the match ratings but there you go.) Remeber to cast your vote in the Diva Search for which of the four girls is next to leave!
Interesting show I'm quite surprised you actually put striker over Rhyno.
I don't think I would usually, but I wanted it to be the Corporation's night. Kept Rhyno strong since he was suffering from the night before and it still took Umaga-ference for the countout win. :)
