Poll The Miz really seems to have a grudge against Kane and now his running buddy Alex Shelley is calling "people" to help him. Will the brash young star ever defeat The Big Red Machine? (Hmm, if the poll isn't working the link to it is here)

I got the idea from an ad Cabana did for The Wrestling Channel and its stuck ever since. :)

His courage returns after his partner, Lance Cade, trips Bruchill up allowing Murdoch to go on the attack. Murdoch lets his success go to his head though and stops to show off to Cade who yells at him to stay focused. It comes too late though as he turns round and walks right into a C4. 123 its over! Lita seems diinterested in the match however and all but leaves Molly to fight the match alone. And molly does a fair job of just that but eventually the numbers tell and she succumbs to a Tornado DDT from Mickie. Lita doesn;t try to break the pinfall and instead yells to Molly to kick out which... she doesn't. Mickie James & Ayako Hamada def. Lita & Molly Holly by pinfall at 7:54 (Mickie James and Lita looked good) RATING = C Lita grabs a mic and backs up the rampway. Lita: Big deal, big deal Mickie. You and your buddy there beat the champ... WRONG! You didn't beat me. No, no, no, you beat my incompetent ASSIGNED partner. In fact, I don't even think you deserve to have the OPPORTUNITY to pin me... Its not like you could anyway. So you keep on fighting the other losers around here and you have fun doing it because you will never amount to one tenth of the legacy that I have created! RATING = B- Bischoff: Oh, I'm sorry! I must be somewhere else, I thought this was Raw... Eric Bischoff walks out from the back looking annoyed. Bischoff:... And you WILL be making that defense in just under two weeks at Armageddon! And if you don't like it? Well you can always relinquish the gold! Mickie smiles and gestures that she'll be taking the belt from an irate looking Lita who storms off to the back. Albright showed that he won't be a fixture in the lower card for long as he went hold for hold with his opponent. Eugene was able to eek out the victory though with a Crossface Chickenwing which he managed to bridge into a pin. Eugene Dinsmore def. Brent Albright by pinfall at 9:38 RATING = C- Eugene is celebrating in the ring when Santino Marella comes out wearing a sh*t-eating grin. Marella: Eugene... I felt bad about what's happened between us. I felt bad that we got off on the wrong foot after you returned... shall we say "better". But are you better? I heard you were smarter than you used to be and yet you stepped between the ropes to face me. And you must've known I would kick your ass. Maybe you hoped that beating I wa bound to give you would knock you stupid again so you can go back to being blissfully unaware of how stupid... how pathetic you actually are. So yes, I wanted to apologise for not quite getting that job done for you but, if you EVER get in my face again, I promise to finish the job! The Bulldogs have a game plan though and assault the behemoth with a variety of doubleteam moves but are unable to take him off his feet. Conway looks worried though and calls for the tag. Viscera stares through him before avalanching Wilson in the corner. As Wilson slumps to the canvas, Viscera Hauls Harry Smith up and drops him onto his tag partner before simply sitting on them for the pinfall. Rob Conway & Viscera def. The Bulldogs by pinfall at 9:34 RATING = C- Melina walks down to the ring as the crowd give her a mixed response of jeers and wolf whistles. Melina: Why don't you all SHUT UP! I have something to say and I want to make sure he hears me!... Ken Shamrock. I'm talking to you. You talk about your "zone" and everybody says your "the world's most dangerous man". I don't know about that, maybe if you had half a brain you would be dangerous but as it is... I am here to extend a challenge to you. Brains versus Brawn. You might be tough, but Johnny Nitro is smart, that intelligence is what is going to take that Intercontinental Title from around your waist. So why don;t you come on out here and give me your answer. Ken Shamrock's music hits and the Intercontinental Champion walks out onto the stage looking angry at Melina's words. Shamrock: So your little lapdog wants to challenge me? Wants to enter the zone? Well that's fine by me, I accept... Shamrock is cut off by a hard chair shot from behind as Johnny Nitro ambushes Shamrock from behind. The Shaman of Sexy continues waffling the IC champ with hard shots until Melina joins him at the head of the ramp. Nitro: Wow, if you're this dumb I don;t think there's gonna be much of a challenge at all... See you at Armageddon chump! Victoria: Hmmm, judging by that neck brace I'd guess she got a little out of her depth and paid the price. Melissa: Sounds about right... Trinity runs at them seething with anger but before she can get to them she is held back by Jersey and Ivory. Ivory: Not now, not here. Wait till you've recovered then they'll be all yours. As time wears on though the advantage swings to Dykstra, the veteran sucking wind and looking tired. Dykstra gets c*cky and slaps Flair around, figuring to savour his victory over a bona-fide legend. But this legend is also the Dirtiest Player in the Game and he was only feigning tiredness, a lowblow followed by an eyepoke and then a shin breaker to set up the Figure Four and Kenny Dykstra was tapping like crazy! Ric Flair def. Kenny Dykstra by submission at 12:52 (Flair and Dykstra have good chemistry. Flair: What's this?! What's this?! The Alpha Male is really the Cowardly Lion? Hey brother if you know anything about Ric Flair its that he doesn't back down from punks like you. I've fought and beaten far greater men than you. I fought Nikita Koloff! I fought Barry Windham! I fought Terry Funk! The Von Erichs! The Freebirds! The Road Warriors! I fought Dusty Rhodes! I fought WOOOO, Harley Race, Wahoo, Steamboat, Magnum TA, The Rock and Roll Express. I fought WOOOOOO Sting! Savage! The list of opponents goes on. The list of victories go on. But I'll tell you Alpha Male they all have something from me that you don't. Respect. At Armageddon, I'm giving you the chance to earn that. Your a big boy Alpha Male but your not THE MAN! To be THE MAN! You hae to BEAT THE MAN! And, brother, THE MAN is right here. The one and only, limo ridin', jet flyin', kiss stealin', wheelin' and dealin', stylin' and profilin' son of a gun... WOOOOOO! CorVon: You like your little names don't you Nature Boy? Well so do I. RATING = B+ Daffney is with the team of Matt Hardy, Goldust and Booker T head of the main event. Hardy: Well Randy, you seemed to think better of getting in my face last week. What happened? Did I turn and rob you of your favourite attack? The sneak kind? Well tonight you have a chance to come after me agin Randy, but I'll be ready for you. Tonight I show you and everyone else that I'm not going to be the pushover that you seem to think I will be. Booker T: And you French suckas, think you can neak up on me? If its a match you want its a match you'll get! We'll give you a shot come Armageddon and we'll see if you've got what it takes. Goldust: hsssssssssssssssss! In the ring Sylvan, Rene. Things are very even in the first half of the match with both tag teams impresing whenever they have to go against the main event competitors. La Resistance show that, when it comes to teamwork, few teams can match them and any advantage gained by the faces on one of them is begated by some interference from the other. The heel team have no problem taking any advantage they can get and after they manage to isolate Goldust they go to work on the bizarre one. Things take a turn for the bizarre though when Goldust plants a kiss on Sylvan that send him diving over the rop after tagging in Rene Dupree. Goldust tags in Matt Hardy who hits two Side Effects in a row on the French Phenom before putting him away with the Twist of Fate. Orton goes to break it up but instead bails when he realises he can't make it in time. Matt Hardy & BookerT & Goldust def. The two veterans brawl and exchange holds displaying the full breadth of their ability to the crowd who are split 50/50 in their support. Finlay slowly gains the advantage as his fighting spirit begins to show through. He manages to get Sotrm up for the Celtic Cross but the Canadian wriggles free and drops down yanking Finlays leg with him. The Impact Player brings himself to his feet with Finlay in the Canadian Mapleleaf! Finlay holds on and struggles to get to the ropes but they are just pout of reach. Eventually he decides to save himself for the rest of the series and submits. Lance Storm def. We were just talking about the match, I'm looking forward to it, should be quite a competition don't you think Armando? Armando: Providing both are left to fight alone then yes I think it will. Of course, the Samoan Bulldozer will be winning... Batista: Oh you think so? Well don't count your chickens before they've hatched! I'll put your boy down on my way to the title... And I'll put him down hard! Striker: AHEM! But of course whoever wins its all good right? So long as the Corporation get the gold in the end... Right? Umaga: Caclakrada ulafatu! Batista: May the best man win... Buddy. Batista's height gives him a slight leverage advantage but Umaga's relentless offense leaves little opportunity to capitalise. The Animal tries for the Batistabomb a few times but struggles to lift his heavy opponent. Umaga gets him down and goes for a splash but Batista moves just in time. There is very little technical finesse on display in the match in contrast to Finlay v Storm with both men simply trying to beat the other down. Batista goes for a Clothesline but it is countered into a Samoan Drop and the crowd cheer as the savage readies the Samoan Spike. A dazed Batista slowly gets to his feet unaware of what is happening but as Umaga begins his run Batsita throws the referee in the way and he is immediately taken out. Next Umaga is tripped and falls to the floor, Chris Masters making his presence felt! The Masterpiece's smiles soon fade though when Umaga slides out of the ring and chases after him. Matt Striker runs down and takes out Armando Estrada but is then simply Bulldozed into the floor as Umaga continues chasing Masters. With the referee out, the Corporate plan becomes apparent. Shane McMahon rushes down and waffgles Umaga with the chair... to no effect! Another blow and another but still nothing. It takes a fourth from behind by Masters for the Samoan to finally fall. Masters, Striker and Shane struggle to roll Umaga back into the ring where Batista is reviving the referee. He drags the offical over to count the fall as the crowd boo loudly. Batista def. Umaga by pinfall at 13:56 (Batista was off his game) RATING = B+ The Corporation stand united in the ring looking down at their former ally. Shane looks over to Batista who raises his hand and gives the thumbs down. Styles: Oh my God! Shane McMahon is back! And the Corporation has had a reshuffle! Umaga has been screwed! Taz: He'll be lucky if that's the end of it! It looks like there's no room for Umaga any more Joey! RATING = B- Now the Corporation make Umaga's ejection from the group offical as they lay into the fallen Savage. Umaga is still trying to get to his feet as all four men continue beating him down. Suddenly a loud cheer erupts from the crowd as Bobby Lashley comes running out with a baseball bat. Batista and Shane quickly bail but Masters tries to fight him and is knocked out for his troubles! Striker backs off but is stopped in his tracks by Umaga who is finally to his feet. The Bulldozer puts him down quickly with a Spinebuster before splashing him in the centre of the ring! Umaga then turns, clearly exhausted and sees Lashley. The show closes on the two men standing face to face staring down in the ring. RATING = B- FINAL RATING = B- (Hmm at least its not a C, the angles appear to be the weak spot this time. I've been tinkering with the show structure to see how fewer, longer angles affect things.)

Beat the Clock! DARK MATCH 1 Jigsaw def. Hallowicked by pinfall. RATING = E+ DARK MATCH 2 The Briscoe Brothers def. We have a great show lined up featuring the Beat the Clock Contest for a shot at Edge's Smackdown Title at Armageddon. JBL: Being good and being tough are one thing Michael Cole but if you can't get the job done quickly you can wave goodbye to your shot at the glory. Cole: Someone like Kane may be at a disadvantage here JBL, he's strong but not exactly lightning quick, maybe this environment favours a quicker worker like Rey Mysterio or Chavo Guerrero? JBL: Do you know nothing Cole?! Rey might be quick but Kane will do more damage in a shorter space of time. I think the odds favour the smarter workers like Kennedy or MVP or even Chris Jericho. These men can adapt to what the match demands of them. Cole: But then there's also the question of who they will face? That could also have a huge effect on the outcome of the match. Don;t forget if they can defeat one of the entered workers, then their time will be entered into the Beat the Clock Contest. JBL: You're correct and its a great opportunity for some of the more overlooked stars to catapult themselves into the title picture anyone who is expecting an easy match is in for a rude awakening! And now, we're about to see one of those opponents as MVP, my pick, looks to set the time to beat! Cole: Wait what's this? Edge joins the commentary team. Cole: WWE Smackdown Champion Edge has joined us. JBL: A pleasure champ Edge: Thank you JBL, I just wanted to make sure I had a ringside seat to see who my next challenger will be. It doesn't really matter since I will defeat them but I'm naturally curious all the same. RATING = B- MATCH 1 Beat the Clock Time to beat = N/A MVP looks upset when Christopher Daniels is revealed as his opponent. The match itself is a great one with both men going all out. MVP looks visibly frustrated at how long the match is taking, having hoped to set a strong time in the match. Mark Henry attempts to help his employer but Daniels puts on the brakes and hangs the big man on the ropes sending him falling to the floor. MVP is exasperated and charges his opponent while his back is turned, rolling up up for the pinfall but the Fallen Angel uses MVP's weight to shift the balance and turn the pin back on the US Champ. 1, 2 ,3 and MVP has lost! Christopher Daniels def. Montel Vontavious Porter by pinfall at 10:21 RATING = B- Daniels: Did I... did I just beat you champ? Again? Too bad! But don't worry, maybe next time we tangle it will be title versus title! Cole: Maybe Christopher Daniels will be you opponent! Edge: And why not? He just knocked off the United States Champion, that alone should earn him consideration. RATING = B- MATCH 2 Beat the Clock Time to Beat = 10:21 Rey shows no reaction when Aries is revealed as his opponent. The match is another great one as both men go on the high flying offense almost immediately. The tactic might not have been a sound one though as both men were slow to capitalise on any advantage gained due to the toll such tactics take on your own body. Aries started to get c*cky, tinking he could repeat Daniels' feat but this proved his downfall as a powerbomb was countered into a Headscissors and the 619, Drop the Dime put him away. Rey Mysterio def. Austin Aries by pinfall at 10:02 RATING = B- Rey is celebrating when Chavo Guerrero walks out from the back. Chavo: Well done Rey, well done. But 10 minutes? Rey that just won't cut it, at least I know I can take it easy in my match and still beat your time so for that, I thank you Rey... Oh and Rey? We're not finished... not by a long shot. Cole: Rey has beaten the clock! How would you feel about facing Rey at Armageddon? Edge: What's Rey done? 10 minutes? Chavo's right, its hardly impressive. RATING = C Ken Kennedy is in the ring waiting to see who his opponent will be. Kennedy: Come on! Who is it? Get out here! The music plays and out walks Super Crazy! He plays to the crowd and gets in the ring with the King of the Ring. Kennedy raises his hand to halt things and approaches his opponent. Kennedy: You? You're my opponent? What is Teddy Long thinking?!.. Okay, okay. Look. We both know this is only ending one way... So why don't we make things easy, you lie down... Do you understand me esse?... You lie down... in the ring and I will pin you without you getting your ass kicked before hand... Comprende? Crazy looks at him funny and then looks to the crowd. Kennedy: Just do it! Crazy lies down in the middle of the ring and Kennedy calls for the bell to start the match. RATING = C- MATCH 3 Beat the Clock Time to Beat = 10:02 Kennedy lies accross him for the pin.. and Crazy reverses rolling up the King of the Ring! 1, 2... No, Kennedy kicks out! Kennedy is livid and goes steraight on the attack beating Super Crazy into the mat. A whip to the ropes is reversed by Crazy and the match settles down into a fairly even contest. Crazy even looks to get the upper hand and puts Kennedy down. He climbs the turnbuckle for a frogsplash but Kennedy recovers and hiptosses him off to the canvas, following up with a Kenton Bomb for the victory. Ken Kennedy def. Super Crazy by pinfall at 7:58 RATING = C Kennedy: I told you! I told you this was only ending one way! Ladies and gentlemen... YOUR WINNER.... Misterrrrrrrrrrr Kennedyyyyyyyyy................................................ KENNEDY! JBL: And now Mr Kennedy has put himself in line for the title Champ. Edge: What an egomaniacal fool. I've put him in his place before and I will do it again if I have to. Super Crazy?! What is Teddy Long doing? Rigging the game? RATING = B @lex, Miz and Roni are in the back hanging out. Roni: When is this contact of yours getting here @lex? @lex: Next week, he had some loose ends to tie up this week... Miz: Next week is too long, I want things taken care of now! @lex: But dude, these things take time. Roni: Yeah baby, relax... Miz: Relax?! I can't relax! I want revenge! Miz storms off as @lex and Roni exchange looks. @lex: Are you gonna go after him or should I? RATING = C- MATCH 4 Regal and Cabana have a clear stength advantage over The Tag Champs but they have something their opponents don't have: Angel Williams. Constantly involved throughout the match she makes the difference in the end by pulling the referee as he counted a Cabana pin on Douglas as Regal protested she then hit a low blow on Colt allowing her boys to hit the Natural Disaster for the win. The Naturals def. Regal & Cabana by pinfall at 12:13 (Regal looked good) RATING = B- Angel joins The Naturals in the ring to celebrate but her smiles soon fade when she sees The Hooligans on the rampway. Kendrick: Angel, you and your boys are quite the team. Really any match you have is 3 on 2 and so we got to thinking, maybe we need to even the odds a little bit. London: We thought about who we could find to watch out for us outside the ring, someone who could keep an eye on you. And then it came to us, the perfect candidate... Ashley: Hi Princess! You've got your boys? Well now, I've got mine. And if you stick your nose in their business I'll be sure to slap it clean off your face! The trio walk away smiling as Douglas and Stevens complain to an irate Angel Williams in the ring. Cole: The Hooligans may have found a way to neutralise Angel Williams, their next match with the Champs might be a bit more even now! RATING = C Teddy Long is in his office reviewing contracts when The Miz bursts through the door. Miz: Lets not play games Teddy, you know what I want. Long: Hold up playa... Miz: No you "hold up playa" I want another match with Kane. I want to be his beat the clock opponent and I want to beat him and deny him his shot at the gold. Long: ... Okay, you got it... And you're up next, feel me? Miz: YES! Miz rushes back out of the office. Long: Why?... RATING = C MATCH 5 Beat the Clock Time to Beat = 7:58 Kane laughs when he sees his opponent but Miz has a game plan. He simply runs from the Big Red Machine trying to eat up the clock. In the early going Kane looks unimpressed until he realises the nature of Miz' game. They play cat and mouse for sometime with Kane ioccaisionally getting his hands on his opponent only for him to escape again. Miz bails to the outside followed by Kane and they run around the ring a couple of times before Kane stops, smiles and turns round. Miz continues running, running, straight into a big boot! The Big Red Machine rolls Miz back into the ring and puuls him up before drilling him into the mat with a Chokeslam and covering for the pin. Kane def. The Miz by pinfall at 6:12 RATING = C+ Kane celebrates as the pyro explodes. Edge: What the hell was that? Cole: The Smackdown Champion doesn't seem happy at the prospect of facing Kane at Armageddon folks... Edge: Shut the hell up Cole! Of course I'm not happy, what was that?! How does beating that goof earn you a title shot?! RATING = B- MATCH 6 Beat the Clock Time to Beat = 6:12 Chavo comes out looking determined now that the time has gone so low. His displeasure is all too apparent when his opponent is revealed as WWE Cruiserweight Champion AJ Styles. Both men go hammer and tong straight away knowing they need to crack six minutes. This leads to some sloppy mistakes from both competitors as they eschew technical finesse in favour of quick results. It is an even contest though and neither man seems abl to gain an advantage. As the six minute mark is reached the corwd begin counting down. AJ tries a quick rollup but Chavo kicks out at the last second. The match passes the 6:12 mark and, soon after, Chavo realises the window of opportunity is closed and, disgruntled, he rolls out of the ring and walks to the back leaving a startled AJ Styles to pick up the countout win. AJ Styles def. Chavo Guerrero by countout at 7:36 RATING = C Lillian speaks to Chris Jerihco ahead of his match. Lillian: Chris Jericho, you are about to compete in the final Beat the Clock Match, the time to beat is 6:12, your opponent is unknown, can you do it? Jericho: Can I do it Lillith? Yes. Will I do it? Well I'll give it my best shot. Whoever my opponent is, they know they can head to Armageddon to face Edge if they beat the clock as well so its gonna be a tough match. But knowing that the prize is a title shot against my "good buddy" Edge is a strong motivator! RATING = B MATCH 7 Beat the Clock Time to Beat = 6:12 Jericho turns pale whn his opponent is revealed as Mark Henry. Y2J has no option but to go on the attack against the big man which leads to him being beaten down by clubbing blows from the World's Strongest Man. A bearhug wears Jericho down and it starts to look like Henry might be facing Edge... But the fans rally for the Ayatollah of Rock and Rollah and elbows into Henry's neck and shoulders make him release the hold. Jericho immediately goes for Henry's Tree Trunk legs, coming off the rops with chop-blocks and kicks to the knees. Henry is rocked and further blows put him on one knee. A springboard drop kick to the back of the head fells the big man and Jericho wastes no time applying the Walls of Jericho. The clock ticks down as Henry cries out from the pain. Jericho really cranks back on the hold and Henry has no choice but to tap out. But the referee isn't there! He's been pulled out of the ring by Claudio Castagnoli! Double C jumps into the ring and attacks Jericho as Henry rolls to the ropes in pain. A kick to the gut sets up a Brainbuster as the referee recovers and calls for the DQ but the clock has advanced beyond the winning time. Jericho was screwed by Double C! Chris Jericho def. Mark Henry by DQ at 6:36 (Jericho looked good) RATING = C+ Double C bails and backs up the ramp pleased with himself as Jericho slowly gets to his feet staring a hole through his attacker. Cole: Chris Jericho was just screwed by Claudio Castagnoli! Edge: I love it! Brilliant! Absolutely brilliant! JBL: He won the match Michael Cole, he jst didn't do it quick enough. Cole: Didn't do it quick enough?! He had Mark Henry tapping out in plenty of time but the referee wasn't there to call the submission! RATING = C Edge is still laughing as Teddy Long walks out with a microphone. Long: Well, the result are in. Edge, your opponent at Armageddon for your WWE Smackdown Title... will be Kane! Edge's laughter stops when Kane walks out from the back to join Teddy Long. The Big Red Machine points to his Armageddon opponent and smiles an evil smile. Long: And next week you will face off in tag team action as Kane tags with Chris Jericho to face you... and Claudio Castagnoli! RATING = B+ FINAL RATING = B- (Not a bad rating, but not brilliant either. Daniels and MVP are working well together.)

RATING = C+ Mickie James appears on the Titantron. James: Oh so THAT'S how its done? Cheating to win rather than relying on ability? I can see why you would take that route Lita but since I went to the trouble of being the best damn women's wrestler I can be, I guess I'll just have to see if my ability can trump your cheating. Don't get too upset if I end up running ciurcles around you before taking your gold, its nothing personal, its just business... Oh what am I saying, of course its personal! Nitro can be heard yelling "not till Sunday" as the duo are chased all the way to the back by the World's Most Dangerous Man. RATING = C+ The ring is set up for the Cabana and out walks the host: Carlito. Carlito: Okay, so Carlito has a treat for all of you tonight. One of the most anticipated matches at Sunday's Armageddon Pay-Per-View has to be the Street Fight between Marcus CorVon and Ric Flair. Well, your host knows how cool it would be to have both of them in the ring tonight, on the Cabana. So guess what I have done just that! Marcus CorVon, come on down! The Alpha Makes music plays and he strides down to the ring to a negative crowd reaction. Carlito: A Ric Flair, come on down! The crowd "woos" as one as The Nature Boy stuts down the ramp. Once he get into the ring though he intently stares at CorVon. Carlito: Okay guys, be seated. Carlito has some questions he wants to ask. Both sit but keep their eyes on one another. Carlito: Firstly. Ric, you're an old guy. How exactly do you think you can stand up to a specimen like The Alpha Male? Flair: Cute Carlito, real cute. But for an old guy I seemed to have no trouble teaching a punk like you a thing or two did I? And when I look at you Alpha Male, that's what I see: Another punk looking to be taught a lesson from the Nature Boy! Carlito looks annoyed that Flair turned the tables on him. Carlito: Well how about you Marcus. Are you intimidated by an opponent with so much history to his name? History earned over all those years he's been in the business? CorVon: Heh, intersting you should use the word "history" Carlito. You're right, Ric Flair has made a lot of history in his career. But on Sunday, The King of the Jungle is going to make some history of his own. At Armageddon Ric Flair himself will be history! Carlito: How does that make you feel Ric? Will Sunday be the end of the Nature Boy? Flair: If I had a nickel for every time someone said they were going to put The Nature Boy away for good... Harley Race couldn't do it! Eric Bischoff couldn't do it! The NWO tired... the NWO failed! Hell this chump here with the hair had a pop and couldn't get the job done! What makes you think you're any different CorVon?! CorVon: Because its like you said Ric, "to be the man, you've got to beat the man". And Ric, after I beat you to a pulp in front of everybody watching then they will know what I already know: Marcus CorVon IS "The Man"! Flair: Well why are we waiting big guy?! let's just get this going now! Flair takes of his jacket and stares a hole through CorVon who also jumps out of his chair. Carlito gets in between them to stop things. Carlito: Hey hey hey! Watch the set! Watch the set! CorVon goes to Pounce Flair but The Nature Boy pulls Carlito into his path. Carlito folds on impact and looks to be out cold as the two men stare down again. Flair gestures to CorVon to try again but the Alpha Male rolls to outside and grabs a mic as he backs up the ramp. CorVon: Save it for Sunday Ric, you're gonna need it! RATING = B+ Matt and Jeff Hardy are together in the back. Matt: Watch yourself out there Jeff. Orton's looking to send a message to me ahead of Armageddon. Jeff: Don't worry about me Matt. I know he requested this match but, when I heard, I had to accept. After all, beating him has to put me into title contention right? Matt: That would be a good match little bro' but it'll be just like when we fought back at home, except mom wouldn't pull me off you! Jeff: We'll see, we'll see. But first things first: I've got to go get some of Randy Orton. Jeff turns to leave and Matt grabs his arm. Matt: Just be careful. Jeff smiles. Jeff: Will do. Orton takes Hardy a little lightly in the early going, mocking his mannerisms but that quickly ends after a series of exchanges which put the Number One Contender down. Orton gets much more serious and much more ruthless in his attack. A missed Swanton by Hardy allows the Legend Killer to take charge with kicks to the head and back. Hardy rallies but it is cut short when Orton counters a crossbody with a Scrapbuster Slam. Orton stalks his opponent until he gets back up and then puts him out again with the RKO for the win. Randy Orton def. Jeff Hardy by pinfall at 14:50 RATING = B+ Orton's hand is raised in victory and he plays to the crowd for a moment before seeing Jeff Hardy trying to get back to his feet. Orton shoves the referee to one side and puts Hardy back down again with another RKO! He slides to the outside and grabs a chair to attack his defeated opponent but as he slides back in, he is met by the Raw Champion, Matt Hardy! They stare down briefly before Orton swings for Matt. Matt ducks under and puts Orton down with a Side Effect. He climbs the turnbuckle for the Legdrop but Orton rolls away and out of the ring. The two exchange words over the ropes as Orton backs up the ramp gesturing to the title. JR: Looks like Orton's plan got a spanner in the works there. King: But I think Matt Hardy got the message loud and clear! RATING = B+ FINAL RATING = B- (Sheesh! Well, the good was good but the bad was baaaad. It seems that everywhere is in financial decline and wrestling interest is at an all time low! Hopefully there will be an upswing soon...)

Edge and Castagnoli had great chemistry teaming together) RATING = B- Kane stood tall with Jericho as Double C rolled out of harm's way. The challenger staring a hole through the champion who backed up the ramp hugging his title belt close. RATING = B+ FINAL RATING = B- (A fairly average show with only one match not delivering. But I need to find a way to get past this C+/B- mark I'm almost constantly hovering at.)

Congrats on the luck of Edge and Double C having great chemistry, you gonna milk that for anything? Oh, and just when I thought you couldn't make the @lex/miz skits any better, you throw in Big Sexy Kevin Nash?!? Seriously, I marked out SOOOOOOO hard for that bit. Great job mate, can't wait for Armageddon
