I imagine, you nominate a diary that is not your own, and then we would need a panel of 3-5 voters, people impartial to judge the shows. Must have written up a minimum of 3 shows for the month of October. (This is an idea that G-Prime uses for the real world diaries, I don't know what format, or how much the same as his this is, but I think it should work, and this'll be all we'll need.) Adam hasn't been pinning diaries of the month lately, and I think there are several CornellVerse diaries around that deserve recognition. I don't have any reason to give anyone preference, so if needed I'd love to be one of the judges. Hell, I've probably read all of the relevant shows so far this month already. :p Just wanted to throw my name out there. Looking forward to seeing how this goes down regardless! But with this, the judges will read every diary entry in the month of October from the nominees. Hopefully gets a little more traffic for some of the diaries as well. It's more of a time issue than anything, plus the fact that I'm the type who has to read a diary from the beginning, rather than join half-way through (even it does have a 40 page long history). [/QUOTE] Hey I don't how you want to go about this but here are the guidelines that G Prime uses. Hope this helps. Good luck with it. And Scap, there have been repeat winners in the Real World DOTM. The 2 month rule allows multiple winners so that one diary won't have the chance to dominate the voting every month. I don't know if that something that would be considered here or not. Just throwing it out there. Yours is one of the Cverse ones that I try to keep up with, and I think that it is well worthy of the nomination. Your call. All of the dynasties that I read (that have posted 3 more shows, at least) have been nominated at this point. So, I have nothing to add in that regard. But still, it's good to see this put together, as it provides a list of links to dynasties that I (and, presumably, others) have missed. I don't want to rip anyone off, and some people are just starting theres. Give everyone a fair shot. But, in November I think we should do the five shows, and the preceding two. I'll need some judges, looks like I have two here already, and if need be I can judge as well, as long as, concerning the other judges, mine isn't in the mix as one of the top diaries that month. I don't want the judges to be in a huge hurry to read through the diaries either. Some people like to read them as they are posted, and follow them. Others, might like to just take a night, or a weekend, and enjoy some diary reading, reading all the diaries at once. Up to you guys, but theres no rush.
