TNA World Heavyweight Championship Kurt Angle (c) vs. Samoa Joe Samoa Joe will get his time, but you're not exactly the type of booker to have a change this big, this fast. A three-way with Christian Cage is in order, in my opinion. TNA X Division Championship Jay Lethal (c) vs. Eric Young No real build up for this one, which is understandable, considering you only had a couple weeks to work with. I can see you investing some serious time into the X-Division, and Black Machismo is a great candidate for franchise player. I've got the Madness. Christian Cage vs. A.J. Styles I had the pleasure of meeting AJ at a tiny indy show last year. He's a pretty cool guy. I now, officially, mark for Styles. In this case, it pains me to go against a fellow Canadian, but a mark's a mark.... Booker T vs. Robert Roode Roode's got all the momentum right now, which always leads me to believe that he'll take the loss. Besides, I'm a WWE man through and through, so my King rules this kingdom too. Elevation X Match Rhino vs. James Storm GORE!!! Motorcity Machine Guns vs. Team 3D It's time to kill this feud off, and in a case like this, that means the Faces win. MMGs move on to a title program. 3D finds some new young punks to... punk. Hardcore Match Abyss vs. Black Reign I could see Messias getting involved, but I think that feud may be finished. Either way, I think we'll see some shenanigans, giving Golddust the win. Scott Steiner vs. Kip James Steiner still has the ability to be a big player, Kip James never did. Besides, he's my hook-up. Holla! Good start, man. I'm still getting used to TNA's roster, but I'll get there. Looking forward to Destination-X.

It then goes to showing Samoa Joe’s naming of tonight as the night he gets his guaranteed title match for signing a new TNA contract. It then says that tonight, they meet one last time with the World Heavyweight Championship on the line. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Hardcore Match Abyss vs. Black Reign These two big men wouldn’t put on a beautiful scientific match, but luckily for the fans this was a hardcore match. Neither man worried about their own personal welfare in this match, they just wanted to inflict as much pain on the other as they possibly could, and the crowd here at UCF Arena, which is just down the road from the Impact Zone ate it up. They cheered heavily as Abyss bounced a chair off of Black Reign’s skull, and they booed like crazy when Black Reign nailed Darkness Falls onto a chair. Neither man was able to get the three count though, so they took it outside. They fought up the ramp, and Abyss downed Black Reign with another chairshot at the top of the ramp. Abyss went searching for something, but all of a sudden Black Reign got up and charged down the ramp at full speed. Abyss caught this out of the corner of his eye though and nailed a Black Hole Slam onto the steel ramp to get the victory. Winner: Abyss Match Time: 9:42 Match Rating: B ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The camera goes to the promo area, where Scott Steiner is standing by before his big match with Kip James, which is up next. Scott Steiner Kip, tonight isn’t about who was part of the better tag team, it’s about who can kick the most ass in the middle of that ring. And let me tell you something Kip, that somebody is me. Now let me hear all my freaks out there in Orlando, Big Poppa Pump is your hookup, holla if you hear me! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Scott Steiner vs. Kip James These two are more suited for tag team action, and it showed in this match. It seems that Steiner is a much better singles competitor though because James took it too him with everything that he had, but it seemed like he was ready to tag someone in, but he was left standing with nothing left in the tank. This allowed Steiner to explode onto an exhausted Kip James with a series of clotheslines with his tree like arms, then he slammed James to the mat multiple times. James eventually fought back and looked for the Famasser, but Steiner was able to avoid it, then take James to mat and quickly lock in the Steiner Recliner and force James to tap out. Winner: Scott Steiner Match Time: 9:51 Match Rating: B- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The camera goes backstage, where Team 3D looks very focused for their match with the Motorcity Machine Guns backstage. They pump each other up, then head to the ring. Sabin and Shelley are also shown pumping themselves up, and then they get high fives from many of their X-Division friends wishing them luck before these rubber match between the two great teams. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Motorcity Machine Guns vs. Team 3D Team 3D said that they were going to fight a pure tag team match in this one, and it looked like they were going to do that, and they did it very successfully as they isolated the two smaller men away from each other. Team 3D was able to use their signature teamwork to their advantage in this one, and Destination X looked like it was going to be a very bad night for Sabin and Shelley. Then things turned around with a quick enzuguri by Shelley. They threw Brother Ray out of the ring and went to work on Devon, and they even managed to put him in the tree of woe, where Sabin nailed his hesitation dropkick. The fight then spilled to the outside, and the referee lost all control. They fought into the crowd and up the ramp, and so the referee decided to use a ten count, which he reached as both teams continued the all out brawl. Winner: Double Countout Match Time: 11:40 Match Rating: C ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The camera goes back to the room of Kurt Angle, where he is sitting on his couch clutching his championship close, and he looks angry at AJ Styles, who in turn looks scared of Kurt Angle. Kurt Angle AJ, how could you go out like you did on Impact and screw things up so badly. All you had to do was beat Samoa Joe, then you got the night off and you could have supported me in the main event. But you lost, now you are banned from ringside, and that idiot of a partner of yours, Tomko is off screwing around in Japan. So me and Karen have to go it alone tonight. Get out of my sight before you screw something else up. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The lights go down in UCF Arena, then strobe lights begin to flash as the Elevation X structure begins to lower down to the ring. The structure locks into place as the lights flash around the arena, then the darkness is broken by a huge explosion on the ramp and Rhino’s entrance marks the beginning of the most dangerous match in professional wrestling. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Elevation X Rhino vs. James Storm These two men started fighting on the floor, and Rhino threw Storm around like a ragdoll, causing him to run for his life. Eventually the only place left to go was up. Storm scaled one of the beams, and Rhino quickly followed right behind him. Storm was standing waiting for Rhino though, and right when he reached the top of the structure Storm started stomping away at Rhino. He grabbed him and tried to quickly throw him off, but Rhino planted himself and didn’t budge. The next several minutes were filled with suspense as they went back and forth, and each man fell numerous times, but pulled themselves back up to the X. Storm then pulled out some brass knuckles and knocked Rhino down with them, busting the War Machine wide open. Storm took a few steps back, and when Rhino got up he went to superkick him, but Rhino backdropped him onto the middle of the X. He then stalked Storm halfway down one of the sides of the X, then he charged and Gored Storm, sending him over the side and crashing back first into the middle of the ring, ending the match. Winner: Rhino Match Time: 13:46 Match Rating: D+ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ After the match the paramedics rushed to the side of James Storm and loaded him onto a stretcher. The camera then focused on Rhino, as he raised his arms up in triumph and the replays played multiple times as Storm was rolled out of the arena. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The camera goes backstage, and Jay Lethal and Eric Young are warming up for their match against each other for the X Division Championship. The two friends wish each other luck with a handshake then head towards the entrance area for their huge match. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ X Division Championship Jay Lethal © vs. Eric Young The match started with a handshake, then the two men traded a very fast technical exchange where neither man came up with the upper hand, and they traded another handshake after this exchange. Lethal was able to get the upper hand on Young with some big Machismo punches, and he followed it up with a very quick strike offense that had Young in a very bad situation. Young somehow fought back against Lethal, then went for a moonsault, but Lethal side stepped it, then nailed Young with the Lethal Combination. He followed that up with a Flying Elbow Drop to get the successful title defense. Winner: Jay Lethal Match Time: 12:28 Match Rating: C ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ After the match Jay Lethal helped Eric Young up to his feet, then after the match the two exchange a handshake and Jay Lethal holds up Eric Young’s hand, and the two friends congratulate each other on a good match as Destination X rolls on. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ A video begins to play showing how the story of Robert Roode and Booker T got started. It shows their match at Final Resolution where Robert Roode broke the jaw of Booker T’s wife Sharmell. It then shows the cat and mouse game between Roode and Booker T, and last week’s brutal attack on Booker T by Roode. But tonight Booker T finally gets his hands on Roode in the middle of the ring. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Booker T vs. Robert Roode w/ Ms. Peyton Banks These two men have an intense hate for one another, and it showed in the match. They entered the ring and both threw their huge haymakers at each other, but Booker T was way too mad for any of them to have any effect on him. He was punching and kicking at Roode like there was no tomorrow, and that came back to bite him as he allowed Banks to distract him, giving Roode the chance to nail a low blow. He then worked Booker over for several minutes, and the fans booed one of their most hated figures, Robert Roode. He locked in a sharpshooter on Booker, but Booker refused to quit and used long reach to get to the ropes. Roode stayed on top, then went for the Money Roll, but Booker reversed it and kicked him in the stomach, then nailed the Axe Kick to finally beat Robert Roode. Winner: Booker T Match Time: 13:44 Match Rating: B+ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ After the match a look of relief came across the face of Booker T, and he climbed the turnbuckles with his hands raised high in triumph as he recognized his fans here at UCF Arena. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The cameras go to the promo area backstage, and Christian Cage has some pre-match comments about AJ Styles. Christian Cage AJ, the time is now. You couldn’t beat Samoa Joe on Impact, now you have to face a tougher opponent tonight. You have to face a man who is a multiple time World Heavyweight Champion, a man that every time he enters the ring turns out an instant classic. You’ve got to face a man who you screwed out of another World Title reign last month. You’ve got to face a man who wants to hurt you AJ. And if you didn’t know before, now you know. I’m going to take you out AJ, you know why? Because that’s how I roll. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Christian Cage vs. AJ Styles This match pitted two former World Heavyweight Champions against each other, but this match didn’t involve gold, it involved pure revenge. Last month Christian had another title reign in his grasp, but AJ attacked him from behind. Christian came out firing looking to take as much pain as possible out on Styles, and he did a very good job of it all the way through the match. AJ would get an acrobatic reversal in every once in a while, but this match was dominated by Christian Cage. He went to put it away fairly early, but Styles slipped out of the Unprettier and rolled outside. Cage followed closely, and Styles took a chair, which the referee was forced to take away. When the ref had his back turned Styles grabbed his Tag Team Title and clocked Christian with it. He then rolled Christian back into the ring, forced him up and nailed the Styles Clash to pick up the cheap victory. Winner: AJ Styles Match Time: 15:34 Match Rating: C+ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The camera goes backstage, and Samoa Joe has some final words before his World Heavyweight Championship match with Kurt Angle. Samoa Joe Kurt, this day is a long time coming. A fair title match for Samoa Joe. There will be no Angle Alliance in your corner. And Kurt, you know whenever we face off in the ring one-on-one I’m going to come out on top every time. Tonight is the dawning of a new era in Total Nonstop Action Wrestling, the Age of Joe, and Kurt, there’s not a darned thing you can do about it. Kurt, it’s real…it’s damn real! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ TNA World Heavyweight Championship Kurt Angle © vs. Samoa Joe These two have had epic battles in the past, but this time Styles is banned from ringside and Tomko is away in Japan, so Joe’s chances were very good. They sized each other up, and after they made first contact the battle was one. They wrestled a strictly amateur style for the first several minutes, and Angle got numerous takedowns on Joe, but Joe adapted and turned the match to his favor with several sickening kicks to the chest of Angle. Joe dropped his weight across Angle with a senton, then continued the melee as Angle looked panicked. He tried to german suplex Samoa Joe, but Joe was having none of it and he snapmere’d Angle over him and nailed a kick square in the back of Angle. Don West Samoa Joe is really in the driver’s seat here. Tonight could be the night that he finally captures that World Heavyweight Championship. Joe then forced Angle into the corner, and he charged at him for the boot scrape, but he missed, and Angle dumped him out of the ring. Kurt then went around the ringside area slamming Joe’s head into the guardrail and announce table, but the referee let the action continue. Angle went to suplex Joe onto the concrete, but Joe turned it into a suplex of his own. He got Angle back into the ring and laid the boots to him again. He eventually got him up for the Muscle Buster, but Angle shifted his weight and fell behind Samoa Joe, then took him down and quickly locked in the Ankle Lock. Samoa Joe struggled for almost a minute and reached the ropes. The two men then faced off again, and Joe went to kick Angle, but he caught his leg and locked in the Ankle Lock again, and this time grapevined it. After another long struggle Samoa Joe finally had enough and tapped out. Winner: Kurt Angle Match Time: 19:11 Match Rating: B- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ After the match Kurt Angle looked exhausted after such a tough match, and he grabbed his championship and stood tall on the turnbuckles…..then the lights went out. A red laser shot around the arena, and after several moments of suspense a single spotlight shined in the arena’s rafters. It revealed that Sting was standing there, pointing his bat right at Kurt Angle. Destination X then went off the air with the music of Sting playing, and Kurt Angle looking like he just saw a ghost.
I'm not trying to bash your dynasty, I am just so tired (in real life) of seeing Joe lose to Angle.
The big difference is that I doubt we'll see him stay in that position seemingly forever. Joe'll gain some momentum in the next little bit, and when he does go over Angle, it's going to be career defining.

I only had two weeks to build up to a pay-per-view, and Joe vs. Angle was something good I could throw in there without much buildup due to their past. On the match ratings it's because my last two matches suffered from poor chemistry, which really sucks because those are four of my biggest stars. And finally on the Sting-Angle thing, Sting left with unfinished business with Angle, so it only makes sense that he comes back against him. Plus I don't know how long I'll have Sting before he decides to retire, so I want to give him one more main event run before he calls it quits.

However, I like the return of Sting. It gives Angle a feud while Joe (or whoever is going to win the title from Angle) time to gain a large amount of momentum (in game and kayfabe). Keep up the good work. I just hope you don't get burned out on the split diary because of it.

The first Impact after the explosive Destination X pay-per-view is promising to be a very intriguing event. With the announcement that the TNA Tag Team Titles are being vacated, the tag teams of TNA are scrambling to get in position to capture the gold, but Jim Cornette and TNA Management have final say, and Cornette will explain the decision of the board on Impact. Also at the end of Destination X the long awaited return of the icon Sting took place. He appeared in the rafters, and he made it clear that he's come back for revenge on the World Heavyweight Champion, Kurt Angle. That sets up the main event for this weeks Impact. It will be Kurt Angle teaming with the only remaining member of the Angle Alliance, AJ Styles to take on Sting, and the man that Styles screwed out of a win at Destination X, Christian Cage. The debut of Nick Dinsmore will also take place on Impact. His first official match will be against Black Reign. Can he be successful in his first trip to the Impact Zone? In other action Samoa Joe will be facing off with familiar rival Robert Roode, and Curry Man will take on the man who took a twenty foot plunge at Destination X, James Storm. Tune in to see this and much more action on Spike TV.

It shows Angle finally pulling out the win against Joe after a hard fought battle, then the reemergence of Sting to TNA Wrestling. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- The music of Kurt Angle plays over the speakers, and he makes his way to the ring with his title over one shoulder, and his wife Karen walking beside him. So at our next pay-per-view Lockdown, we are going to have a Tag Team Title match inside the Six Sides of Steel. It is going to be Team 3D taking on the Motorcity Machine Guns, and the winner will be the new TNA World Tag Team Champions! And for a warmup here tonight, Team 3D will be teaming up to take on the makeshift team of Abyss and Rhino, and that match is next! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Abyss and Rhino vs. Team 3D Team 3D was back to fighting heavyweights in this match, and they didn’t waste any time as they went head to head with two of the biggest, strongest men walking the halls of TNA Wrestling today. Team 3D was able to isolate Rhino in their corner as the announcers talked about the history between those three. Abyss got the hot tag and cleaned house at one point, and after he started to slow down he tagged Rhino back in, and he also dominated for a short period, but after he missed on a Gore Team 3D capitalized and nailed Rhino with the 3D to get the victory. Winners: Team 3D Match Time: 10:53 Match Rating: B- ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- After the match Team 3D celebrated their win and headed to the back, and Rhino slowly rose to his feet as Abyss watched on. Rhino said something to Abyss, who did not look to happy that his team just took the loss. Abyss then yelled something out and jumped Rhino from behind. The crowd watched on in shock as somebody that they thought they have began to understand returned to his unpredictable and violent ways. Abyss continued stomping Rhino into the mat, then pulled out his bag of thumbtacks. He then whipped Rhino off the ropes and nailed the Black Hole Slam to put an exclamation point on this turning of his attitude. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Curry Man vs. James Storm w/ Jackie Moore James Storm looked like he was struggling to hobble down the ramp enough to even make it into this match with Curry Man. Replays were shown repeatedly of Storm taking the plunge off of the Elevation X structure. Curry Man then got the fans on their feet for his entrance, and he wrestled circles around a very slow and apparently still injured James Storm. Storm went for a superkick at one point, but couldn’t get his foot above his waist, and Curry Man then lifted him up and nailed the Spicy Drop for the victory. Winner: Curry Man Match Time: 9:32 Match Rating: B- ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Nick Dinsmore vs. Black Reign Nick Dinsmore was making his debut in this match, and the fans gave him a big ovation as he showed that he has some serious wrestling ability. He looked like a human suplex machine in the middle of the ring as he threw Black Reign all around the ring, making him lose his sense of direction in the ring several times. Black Reign started fighting back against Dinsmore, but he was able to get off his Northern Lights Suplex and get a very successful debut victory over Black Reign. Winner: Nick Dinsmore Match Time: 7:43 Match Rating: C- ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- After the match Dinsmore was celebrating his victory in the ring, then the lights went out and the music of Booker T hit the arena. Booker T came to the ring, and he had a huge stuffed rabbit in his hands. He had a big smile on his face as he entered the ring, and Dinsmore looked confused as to what was going on. Booker T Nick, welcome to TNA Wrestling. Everybody knows that we spent some time together in that other organization, and I remember you having a fondness of stuffed animals. Booker T has a smile on his face as he is doing this in fun, and he hands Dinsmore the rabbit. Dinsmore looks around at the crowd who are all laughing, and he doesn’t looked to amused by this gesture. Nick Dinsmore You know, I get this a lot. Hey Eugene, do the dance! Hey Eugene, let’s hear the voice! I’m sick and tired of it! I’ve come to TNA Wrestling to show people that I mean business, and I’m not putting up with crap from people like you. Dinsmore then takes the rabbit and rips the head off of it and throws it into the crowd. Something seems to have snapped in him, and he charges at Booker T and takes him down with a huge tackle. He starts pummeling away on Booker T as security rushes out to get Dinsmore off of Booker. As they pull them apart Booker now looks furious, and Dinsmore has a sadistic smile on his face as he walks towards the back. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- The camera goes backstage where Christian Cage and Sting are standing in the promo area. Christian Cage AJ, for the second time in the last two pay-per-views you screwed me out of a victory. I had you beat at Destination X, then you pulled out that Tag Team Title and hit me right in the head with it. Styles, that isn’t sitting too well with me right now, and tonight I’m going to take it out on you! Sting Surprise Surprise! The Stinger is back in town! Surprised to see me Kurt? After our last match I had to step away from wrestling and refind myself. And let me tell you Kurt, that time away did me some good. The old Stinger is back, and I want another World Title reign. So Kurt, one way or another I will get a title match at Lockdown, and I will walk out World Heavyweight Champion. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Samoa Joe vs. Robert Roode w/ Ms. Peyton Banks These two men have battled in the past, but this time they were both coming off big losses at Destination X. Samoa Joe was plenty angry heading into this match, and it was yet to be seen if it would help him or hurt it. It defiantly hurt Robert Roode though because Samoa Joe unloaded with hammer like right hands off the face of Roode several times. Roode tried running several times, and when that didn’t work Ms. Banks tried distracting Joe, but he was having none of it. After a short offensive effort from Roode was stamped out Joe was able to lock in the Coquina Clutch, forcing Roode to quickly tap out. Winner: Samoa Joe Match Time: 14:32 Match Rating: B ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- The camera goes backstage, and Awesome Kong is standing with her manager, Raisha Saeed in the hallway. Raisha Saeed Kong, have no worries, I can handle myself in the ring. Remember, we trained together in Japan, I can take care of business. Wait back here, when I return, I will have a victory over TNA’s newest Knockout, Jillian Hall. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jillian Hall vs. Raisha Saeed Both of these women are making their debut inside the ring, but this is also Jillian Hall’s first time stepping foot in the Impact Zone. The fan gave her a warm reception, but Saeed quickly quieted them by showing that she can also wrestle very well. She was hampered by the fact that she was still wearing covering over his face, and it got in her way numerous times. Jillian took advantage of this and pulled the material over her eyes, then took her down, followed by a Moonsault, and she earned her first victory in the Impact Zone. Winner: Jillian Hall Match Time: 8:08 Match Rating: B ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- The camera goes backstage where AJ Styles and Kurt Angle are making their way to the ring for their main event tag team match, which is up next. Angle pumps AJ up to the level that he is at, and tells him not to worry about Christian, he won’t let him hurt Styles. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sting and Christian Cage vs. Kurt Angle and AJ Styles Sting started the match off for his team, but Angle refused to start the match and made AJ start it against him. Styles hit a quick rush of kicks to Sting, then looked very pleased, but he turned back around and Sting was staring him in the face, and almost scared him out of his boots. Sting slugged Styles around the ring, and when he tagged in Christian then Angle finally entered the match. The two traded wrestling holds, but Angle had the upper hand, and he wore down Christian, allowing Styles to get into the match and dish some pain out to Christian Cage. After they dished out some more pain Christian dragged himself to the corner, and he tagged in Sting, who came a cleaned house. He went to Stinger Splash Angle, but Angle dragged the referee in front of him, and Sting took him out. Karen then grabbed Kurt’s World Heavyweight Championship and brought it into the ring, and he blasted Sting right between the eyes with it, then got the victory, ruining Sting’s return to TNA.
Are you planning on doing a Lethal Lockdown match at the PPV?
I'm about 50/50 on it right now. I was at Lockdown in St. Louis, and the Lethal Lockdown was fun and all, but I would much rather seen a main event title match and the talent evenly spread out through the card better. It could go either way, and by the next Impact I should have a main event set in stone. Between D-X and Lockdown there are 6 weeks, so it gave me a week to shake things out and decide which would work better.

You don't have to use it as your main event but it is a cool match.
