TNA Mobile has learned that TNA Management has elected to bring the Lethal Lockdown back to TNA Wrestling under modified rules. The entrances and basic rules will remain the same, the only difference is that the teams have been taken down to four wrestlers per side. There is no word on who this match is going to involve, or what is at stake, the only thing known is that Lethal Lockdown will in fact have a presence at Lockdown once again. Expect Jim Cornette to make an announcement regarding this on this week's Impact.

Good news that it'll be there. Not really big news that it's been taken down to four, as I think it was 3vs3 in 05, 4vs4 in 06, and 5vs5 in 07. Just however the storyline will fit, I suppose. I could see something with Team Christan vs Team AJ or something like that, which would be pretty cool. Throw in Rhino, Dinsmore, Storm, Abyss, whoever. Should be fun.

TNA Impact will start off with Jim Cornette revealing the major details about this year's Lethal Lockdown match at Lockdown. Who will be involved with this four on four match where the eight men are locked inside of an unforgiving steel cell? What will be up for grabs in this match? Tune into Impact this Thursday night to find out the answers to all these questions. In other action the two bitter rivals Kurt Angle and Sting will be in action on opposite sides of the show. The first bout of the evening will see Kurt Angle facing off with the man from Japan, Curry Man in what promises to be a great match between two very different styles. Then in the main event it will be Sting trying to get some revenge on AJ Styles for helping Kurt Angle spoil his return last week. There is also a return bout from Destination X scheduled as Robert Roode will try to get back on the winning track as he takes on Booker T. Nick Dinsmore, Jay Lethal, and the Knockout's Champion Awesome Kong will all also be in action.

TNA Impact! Thursday March 25, 2008 Taped at Universal Studios Orlando, Florida Attendance: 1,000 Impact gets underway with Jim Cornette is standing in the ring ready to make the announcement regarding Lethal Lockdown. The fans are eagerly awaiting his announcement as they want to know what the big match is going to be at Lockdown. Jim Cornette As most of you know, TNA Mobile reported that Lethal Lockdown will be returning to TNA this year. I can confirm this is true. But something else I can add to this are the team captains and the stipulation for this match. So the captain of team one…..STING! That’s right, Sting has returned to TNA Wrestling, and now he will name three teammates to do battle with him inside the Lethal Lockdown. And on the other side…TNA World Heavyweight Champion Kurt Angle! And what’s up for grabs in this match…a TNA World Heavyweight Title shot. That’s right, whoever picks up the pinfall or submission gets to have a title shot anytime between the Impact after Lockdown and our pay-per-view after Lockdown, Sacrifice. And if Kurt Angle wins then he doesn’t have to defend the title at Sacrifice, or any time until Slammiversary. I expect Kurt and Sting to each pick at least one teammate tonight, and they can do so after their matches that I have scheduled for them tonight. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Curry Man vs. Kurt Angle w/ Karen Angle Curry Man brought the crowd to their feet with his electrified entrance, and he and Kurt Angle exchanged in a technical wrestling exchange, and Angle looked very surprised that Curry Man was able to keep up with him move for move. Curry Man was able to trip Angle, then he did the Curry Man dance on his back, bringing the crowd straight to their feet. This angered the champion though and he started slugging away at Curry Man, and the man from the orient took a beating like he never has in TNA. Angle slugged Curry Man right in his face, then went for the Angle Slam after several minutes, but Curry Man fell behind and got Angle up in the Spice Rack, but Angle was able to slip behind and lock in the Ankle Lock, and Curry Man tapped out after a short battle. Winner: Kurt Angle Match Time: 13:52 Match Rating: A ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- After the match Kurt Angle grabs a microphone, and it looks like he is ready to announce his first teammate for the Lethal Lockdown match. Kurt Angle First of all, I think it is a load of crap that Jim Cornette is making me compete in Lethal Lockdown for the second year in a row. But I’m going to be making the most of it and I will pick up the victory, then have a clear path all the way to Slammiversary. So it’s without further ado that I announce my first teammate, the Prince of Phenomenal, AJ Styles! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- A video plays showing Nick Dinsmore’s debut on last week’s Impact. It then shows Booker T coming to the ring playfully mocking him about a past gimmick. It then shows Dinsmore snapping before everybody’s eyes and attacking Booker T to the point that TNA Security had to come and pull Dinsmore off of Booker T. It then focused on the deranged look that Dinsmore had on his face as he laughed at Booker T, who was struggling to get back to his feet after an unjustified assault at the hands of the newest member of the TNA roster. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Shark Boy vs. Nick Dinsmore Shark Boy came out and the fans were having a good time, but that all changed when a very angry Nick Dinsmore came to the ring. Shark Boy tried to hit a Lou Thesz Press on Dinsmore, but he just clotheslined him out of midair. Dinsmore then stomped Shark Boy around the ring and mocked him as the fans booed Dinsmore to no end. He tried to rip the mask off of Shark Boy, but the fan favorite began to fight his way back, and he then went for the Stunner, but Dinsmore was having none of it and he drilled Shark Boy with the Northern Lights Suplex to pick up another victory in TNA. Winner: Nick Dinsmore Match Time: 6:44 Match Rating: C- ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- The camera goes backstage where Samoa Joe is walking around the backstage area, then all of a sudden Robert Roode flies into the screen and he attacks Samoa Joe from behind. He kicks him in the back of the head numerous times and dumps a catering table on him while yelling that nobody makes a fool of Robert Roode. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jay Lethal vs. Petey Williams “Maple Leaf Muscle” Petey Williams made his way down to the ring to prove that he should be considered for the X Division Championship, and what better way to prove it than to beat the current champion. Williams took it to Lethal early and often with his new found power game. Lethal fought back though with some Machismo quick jabs, then he grabbed Williams by the head and leaped over the top rope, clotheslining Williams over the top. He quickly headed back in, but Williams fought back, then looked for his Canadian Destroyer, but Lethal backdropped him, then nailed the Lethal Combination and the Flying Elbow to get the victory. Winner: Jay Lethal Match Time: 8:32 Match Rating: C+ ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- A video plays of Rhino and Abyss teaming together last week, then after they picked up the loss it shows Abyss losing it on Rhino and giving him the Black Hole Slam, thus ending any progress he had made with the fans and fellow TNA wrestlers in the past year. It then says that they will meet in the middle of the ring up next. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Rhino vs. Abyss These two monsters faced off in the middle of the ring, but the ring was not big enough to hold them. After they brawled inside for awhile they took it to the ringside area, where they battled for quite sometime, and it seemed that the referee was just going to let them brawl it out. They eventually returned to the ring, where Rhino got the better of Abyss. Then in a shocking turn Kurt Angle made his way to the ring. Rhino didn’t see it, and he set up for the Gore, but Angle held onto his leg from the outside, stopping him. Rhino eventually turned his attention back to Abyss, and when he did a Black Hole Slam was waiting for him, and Abyss picked up the victory thanks to Kurt Angle. Winner: Abyss Match Time: 8:52 Match Rating: B ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- After the match Kurt Angle grabbed a microphone from ringside and began to address the crowd once again, and they were not happy to hear from him. Kurt Angle I was sitting backstage thinking of who should be my third and fourth teammates at Lethal Lockdown when I saw what Abyss did to Rhino last week. So I came out here to ask you a question Abyss. Will you be on my team at Lethal Lockdown? Abyss YES! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- The camera goes backstage, where Robert Roode is standing by with microphone in hand. Robert Roode A lot of you are probably wondering why I attacked Samoa Joe earlier tonight. Well, nobody makes a fool of Robert Roode, not even Samoa Joe. Everybody knows he beat me on a fluke last week, so I had to get redemption. But now that that’s over, I can focus on my rematch with Booker T tonight. Booker, you may have beaten me at Destination X, but you will have no such luck tonight, because you will soon find out that it pays to be rude! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Booker T vs. Robert Roode w/ Ms. Peyton Banks Booker T had beaten Roode earlier in the month, and he was set on doing it once again. He took the fight to Roode early and often, and Roode had to go outside and gather himself while Ms. Banks gave him encouragement. He finally got the guts to go back inside, and after another flurry from Booker T, Roode reached into his back of tricks and poked Booker right in the eye. Roode followed his up with a flurry of devastating strikes, and he even nailed his old finisher, the Northern Lariat. He wasn’t going to put Booker away though, he wanted to make him pay. He dished out some more punishment, then went for the Money Roll, but Booker reversed it into the Book End and picked up yet another victory over Roode. Winner: Booker T Match Time: 11:32 Match Rating: B+ ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- After the match Nick Dinsmore made his way back out to the Impact Zone, and Booker challenged him to come and meet him in the ring. This allowed Robert Roode to collect himself, and then he jumped Booker from behind. Right before the assault stepped up a notch though the music of Samoa Joe hit, and he sprinted to the ring and cleaned house. He got his hands on Robert Roode and got revenge as he smashed his head on just about everything in the Impact Zone. As this was going on Nick Dinsmore and Booker T were brawling all over the place as well. Security eventually came out yet again and separated these four very angry men. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- The camera went backstage where Rhino was icing his neck after taking another beating at the hands of the Monster Abyss. Then all of a sudden the door opens and Sting walks in. Sting Rhino, I couldn’t help but notice that you’ve been screwed by Abyss for two weeks running. I also overheard that Abyss is now a part of the Angle Alliance going into Lockdown. Well I need to pick some people for my team, and I don’t think I could pick a more perfect person for this match than you. What do you say, want to get some revenge on Abyss and Angle? Rhino You know it. Those two will feel the GORE GORE GORE! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Traci Brooks vs. Awesome Kong w/ Raisha Saeed Traci Brooks came to the ring and got the fans behind her, but she had an almost impossible mountain to climb as she faced off with the most dominant female in professional wrestling, Awesome Kong. Traci got things going by showing she wasn’t scared and he attacked Kong, trying to take her down. She then tried to DDT Kong, but she just stared at her then dropped her with a vicious backhand. Kong followed his up with her implant driver, and finally the Awesome Bomb, and she made short work of Ms. Brooks, and once again proved her dominance. Winner: Awesome Kong Match Time: 3:42 Match Rating: D- ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- After the match the music of the first ever TNA Knockout’s Champion Gail Kim played in the arena, and she came up the tunnel with a microphone in hand. Gail Kim Kong, you think you’re tough. You only beat me because I was hurt. The only way I see it is that there is only room for one of us here in TNA. So at Lockdown I’ll put my career on the line if you’ll do the same. Inside the Six Sides of Steel, Kong vs. Kim one more time. Winner is the Knockout’s Champion…..LOSER LEAVES TNA FOREVER! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sting vs. AJ Styles Styles looked slightly intimidated heading into this match, as he rightfully should. He was not only facing the icon Sting, he had Christian Cage angry at him. Styles fought with one eye over his shoulder the entire time, something you cannot do again Sting. He took him down with a Pele Kick, then looked around the arena for Cage. When he turned back to Sting he was standing there smiling at him, which was enough to send AJ to the mat in shock. Sting then threw Styles around the ring, and Stinger Splashed him in almost all six corners of the ring. Styles tried to fight back, but Sting just stared at him then beat on his own chest and yelled at AJ. He then grabbed Styles and took him down, then locked in the Scorpion Death Lock, causing Styles to quick tap out to the pain. Winner: Sting Match Time: 11:48 Match Rating: A ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- After the match Sting grabbed a microphone, then surprisingly helped Styles up to his feet. He then began to address a very stunned AJ Styles. Sting AJ, you are probably wondering why I helped you up after the nasty things you have done to me. There’s one simple reason AJ, I want you to be awake when I announce the third member of my team. This man will be joining Rhino and I inside the Lethal Lockdown, and I think you know him pretty well. He’s a man by the name of…..CHRISTIAN CAGE! All 5 out of the 8 announced competitors for the Lethal Lockdown match were in the match last year. Pretty sure that the stipulation is the same, too. Just so you know (though you probably already did). Good show though, and I can't wait for Lockdown!

Thursday night's Impact is shaping up to be one of the most exciting editions of TNA television in a very long time. Not only are their very exciting duel main events, it was reported earlier this week on TNA Mobile that Sting and Kurt Angle each expect their fourth member to be at the Impact Zone this week, and they will each be rounding out their teams with their invitees. Who could these men be, and who will have the advantage after their final man is added? In the first main event of the evening yet another rematch from Destination X will be taking place. At the pay-per-view AJ Styles was able to screw Christian Cage out of a victory, and Cage is coming into tonight's Impact looking for revenge on Styles. Will Christian get a slice of revenge, or is he just stepping into another trap set by AJ Styles? In the second main event of the evening there will be a marquee tag team matchup. One one side the Samoan Submission Machine Samoa Joe will be teaming with the former World Champion Booker T. They will be facing their bitter rivals in the form of Robert Roode, and a man who has been on a roll since letting his real personality shine through when he joined TNA, Nick Dinsmore. Will the pure strength and experience of Joe and Booker prevail, or do Roode and Dinsmore have something up their sleeves? There's only one way to find out, tune into Impact this Thursday night. Thursday April 4, 2008 Taped at Universal Studios Orlando, Florida Attendance: 1,000 Impact gets underway with Kurt Angle, AJ Styles and Abyss sitting in Angle’s locker room. Angle begins to address two of his three teammates for Lethal Lockdown which is coming up in little less than a month at TNA’s all six sides of steel event, Lockdown. Kurt Angle Well boys, tonight is the night that everybody finds out who our fourth partner is going to be heading into Lethal Lockdown, and the man that will ensure that the Angle Alliance will walk out of Lockdown winners, and the man that makes sure that I don’t have to defend the title until Slammiversary. In two short hours the whole world will know that the Angle Alliance is the most dominant force in wrestling today, and Sting will have no other option than to go back into hiding before Lockdown even comes around. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- X Division Championship Jay Lethal © vs. Kaz Jay Lethal has been dominating the X Division since saving it from the clutches of Team 3D, but he faced serious competition for his title tonight from one stars of the X Division, Kaz. Kaz took it to Lethal early and often, and Lethal wasn’t having much success with his new found brawling game. Kaz turned up the speed and took Lethal down several times, and got many near falls with high impact moves. After the two fought back and forth for quite some time Lethal nailed a DDT, then went up top. He may have showboated a little too much though because Kaz met him at the top and went for the Flux Capacitor, but Lethal threw him down and nailed the Elbow Drop for the victory. Winner: Jay Lethal Match Time: 11:26 Match Rating: C- ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- The camera goes backstage where Nick Dinsmore is standing by before his huge tag team main event matchup against Samoa Joe and Booker T with his partner Robert Roode. Nick Dinsmore Booker T, when we wrestled together in the past many people respected you as a leader, but I saw right though you. I know what kind of a person you are. You are no leader, you are nothing but a piece of trash. Tonight I will expose you to the rest of the world as the piece of garbage that you are, and they will all know that Nick Dinsmore is the revolution of professional wrestling, and they’ll have no other choice to accept the fact that sooner or later, I’ll be the face of this company. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- The camera goes back to the locker room of Kurt Angle, and he can be seen giving Abyss a pep talk before his match next. Kurt Angle Okay Abyss, go out there and show me why I picked you to be on my team at Lethal Lockdown. Tonight your facing Eric Young, and I don’t want to see you let up until that moron can’t stand anymore. Show me why they say you are the most devastating man in the TNA locker room. Show me why the call you the monster! Now go rip Eric Young to shreds! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Eric Young vs. Abyss Eric Young looked very scared as he came down to the ring, and he had good reason too because Abyss was out to prove a point to Kurt Angle. He invited Young to take the first shot, and when he did Abyss turned on the tunnel vision and utterly destroyed Eric Young. He fans gasped in horror as Abyss threw Young around the ring, and he could have pinned him with moves like Shock Treatment and the Chokeslam, but he wanted to prove to Angle that he is the baddest man in TNA. He whipped Young off the ropes and nailed the Black Hole Slam, only to lift Young back up by his throat and hit it again to get the dominating victory. Winner: Abyss Match Time: 7:23 Match Rating: B ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- The lights go off in the Impact Zone, and the image of Sting appears on the screen. Sting Chris, I thought that me and you had made a breakthrough man, but I see you are back to being the monster that you were before we met. I’ve got to say that you just put on a very impressive show of dominance, but it won’t make any difference, because my final pick for my team at Lethal Lockdown is here, and when Angle finds out who he is, let’s just say that Kurt is not going to be very happy. Strap yourselves in, because when you all find out who’s on my team, it’s gonna be showtime folks! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Gail Kim and Jillian Hall vs. Awesome Kong and Raisha Saeed Gail and Jillian came out to a big round of applause, and they both took it to the Knockouts champion at the same time, and they successfully kicked her from the ring, which allowed them to team up on Raisha Saeed, and even though she put up a good fight Jillian and Gail were too much. Kong eventually returned to the ring and threw both women around, but they were eventually able to take her out of the ring again, and then Gail hit a dive from the top to the outside to neutralize her, which allowed Jillian to take Raisha down, then nail the Moonsault for the victory. Winners: Gail Kim and Jillian Hall Match Time: 7:55 Match Rating: C- ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- After the match Gail Kim grabbed a microphone from ringside as Kong and Saeed made their way back up to the tunnel, looking very angry that they were just humiliated in this match. Christian Cage AJ, me and you used to be tight, then you went and ruined it when you put that knife in my back. Well the fun and games are over AJ, you’ve screwed me over one too many times. Tonight you are going to find out why I am the former World Heavyweight Champion, and why I’m one of the most ruthless bastards that you have ever met. AJ, tonight you don’t face off with the Instant Classic, because tonight is going to be anything but a classic, it’s going to be the ass kicking of a lifetime! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Christian Cage vs. AJ Styles Cage came into the match very angry after Styles has cost him win after win over the last few months. He slugged away at AJ, who tried getting separation from Cage, but Christian was far too focused to let him get very far. Styles tried to throw in some quick punches and kicks on Christian, but he just shrugged them off and went back on the attack. He grabbed Styles by the head and slammed it into all six corners. Styles fought back with a poke to the eyes and he got some high impact moves in, but it was quickly turned around and Christian was looking for the Unprettier, but all of a sudden Abyss ran down to the ring, and Christian caught sight of it and the two traded punches in the middle of the ring, ending the match right there. After not long of a battle the numbers game caught up with Cage and he quickly exited the Impact Zone. Winner by DQ: Christian Cage Match Time: 11:50 Match Rating: C+ ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- After the match the camera goes backstage, and Christian Cage has something to say to the leader of the team that he is on at Lockdown, Sting. Christian Cage Sting, I hear that you have somebody coming to Impact tonight. And let me tell you, he better be good because I’m tired of getting attacked from behind. If it’s not Styles or Angle then it’s Abyss. And god knows who he’s gonna have show up tonight. So Sting, you better deliver tonight, because if you dragged me into a hopeless situation, then your going to be having trouble. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Curry Man vs. Judas Mesias w/ James Mitchell Judas Mesias had the huge strength advantage in this one, and Curry Man spent most of the match trying to avoid the deadly offense of Mesias. Curry Man stuck in some kicks on Mesias, but this just made him angry and he went right after Curry Man, taking him down with a huge clothesline. Mitchell then yelled instructions to his son as he tore Curry Man apart limb from limb. He hit some more devastating moves on Curry Man, then went for his finisher, Straight to Hell, but Curry Man reversed the move and rolled Mesias up, getting the shocking three count. Winner: Curry Man Match Time: 7:19 Match Rating: C+ ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- After the match Curry Man’s music began to play and he started dancing in the middle of ring as the fans shot to their feet and joined in the famous Curry Man dance. Then all of a sudden Judas Mesias shot back into the ring and took Curry Man out from behind. He beat him straight into the mat, then forced him up and nailed him with the Straight to Hell. He then made his way slowly to the back as James Mitchell watched on approvingly. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Motorcity Machine Guns vs. Black Reign and Rellik The Machine Guns made their way out with a huge fight ahead of them. They wanted to go into their Tag Team Title match at Lockdown with momentum, but Black Reign and Rellik provided a major roadblock. The two monsters tried to brawl with Sabin and Shelley, but they showed why they got the title match and ran circles around Reign and Rellik. Rellik tried to hit the Sickle on Shelley, but he took him out of the ring with a superkick. They then turned to Black Reign and drilled him with the double enzuguri to get the victory. Winners: Motorcity Machine Guns Match Time: 5:49 Match Rating: C+ ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- The camera then goes backstage, where Samoa Joe is making his way down a hallway to go to the ring for the main event tag team match which is coming up next. Then all of a sudden Robert Roode jumped from inside one of the doors and attacked Samoa Joe. He brutally beat him down for the second time in two weeks as the announcers talked about how old Roode’s actions are becoming. He grabbed a chair and went to work on Joe with it, softening him up for their next match. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Booker T and Samoa Joe vs. Robert Roode and Nick Dinsmore The match got underway after Samoa Joe hobbled out from the back, and he couldn’t do more than watch as Roode and Dinsmore isolated Booker T in their corner. They kicked and stomped away at Booker T as Samoa Joe tried to gather himself at ringside, and after Booker delivered some stiff kicks to make room, he was able to tag in Joe, who used adrenaline to absolutely run over Roode and Dinsmore. He fought them both at one time, but Dinsmore jumped him from behind, ending that promptly. Then after several more minutes of back and fourth battle it looked like Booker T had things back in control, but Roode and Dinsmore threw him out of the ring, then focused on Joe. He fought hard and had Roode up for the Muscle Buster, but Dinsmore chop blocked him. This allowed Roode to get back up and nail the Money Roll as Dinsmore took care of Booker T, and the team of Roode and Dinsmore picked up another tainted victory. TNA Mobile has learned that Jeff Jarrett will be attending Impact this Thursday night to address the situation between Kurt Angle, Sting, and himself. He has promised by the end of Impact the situation will have cleared up, and everybody in the world will know who's side he will be on going into Lethal Lockdown. One thing is for sure though, whoever gets Jarrett on their team will have a definite advantage heading into the main event of the pay-per-view, and the other will be left scrambling to find a fourth member for their team with just two weeks to get somebody signed. Be sure to tune into TNA Impact this Thursday as a monumental choice has been promised. The King of the Mountain Jeff Jarrett has declared that he will make his choice between Kurt Angle's team and Sting's team for Lethal Lockdown, and thus shift the advantage to one side and put the other at a serious disadvantage. And there will also be two great one-on-one matches that will preview Lethal Lockdown. Representing Team Angle it will be Abyss taking on Team Sting's Christian Cage. And there will also be a match between AJ Styles and Rhino. Tonight will swing the momentum heavily to one side, which one will it be? Nick Dinsmore has been running his mouth about a lack of respect for Booker T lately, but he has been backing it up with a perfect record in TNA so far. On Impact this week he faces off with another man who has been rolling in TNA, Curry Man. Who will walk out the winner, and what will Dinsmore have to say about Booker T this week? Finally, Robert Roode has jumped Samoa Joe backstage twice in the last two weeks, so Jim Cornette has ordered that they not come in contact with each other on Impact, but they will each have a singles match. These two men will surely have something to say to one another, but can they focus enough to get the job done in each of their singles matches? Tune into Impact to find out.
