Allow me to, once again, welcome you to the Combat Zone. Tonight, we will witness the long anticipated rematch between "The Tower Of London" and Eddie "There's Only One" Cornell. [B]Pag:[/B] There's nothing "anticipated" about Patterson having to defend a title that is so rightfully his. However, what is highly anticipated is Harley Neill's opportunity to kick the crap out of that feral Canadian stray, Larry Wood. [B]Manny:[/B] Ha, well he may havd the opportunity but I doubt he'll take it! [B]Pag:[/B] We'll see, moron, we'll see... [B]Manny:[/B] MORHAN! He looks under the ring and pulls out a cricket bat and re-enters. He waves the bat menacingly but Wood just tells him to bring it. Cricket bat to the forehead! But the mountain man just shakes it off. [B]Manny:[/B] Neill looks stunned! Wood just shook off the shot from the cricket bat! [B]Pag:[/B] I wish I could shake you off! [B]Manny:[/B] Don't worry, the feeling's mutual. Neill boots Wood in the gut and swings the bat at his family jewells. [B]Manny:[/B] Oooh, right in the knackers! But, again, Wood is unaffected. [B]Manny:[/B] Wood's got wood! [B]Pag:[/B] I cannot take anymore of this comedy sideshow. Finish him off Harley! Again, Wood invites a bat shot. Neill swings wildly at his opponent's head. Wood ducks, though, He slides in, runs and rebounds off the ropes. Neill looks like a rabbit in the headlights. Running Big Foot! Wood slides out and grabs his trusty 2x4. He looks under the ring and pulls out a roll of brabed wire. He wraps it around the wood and slides back in. Neill stands to get clocked in the face by the wire... ...and "The Gnarly Heel" is bleeding. [B]Match Rating:[/B] C- [B]Manny:[/B] This man is unstoppable... that's fifteen wins on the trot. [B]Manny:[/B] She just wants an autograph. [B]Pag:[/B] But it must be the twentieth Warrior autograph she's gotten since I've been here! In a back and forth display, it appears Exile holds a slight edge. In the tenth minute, he lifts up Matravers for the Exile Driver. But, like last month, Matravers slips out the back. This time, though, Exile turns to face him but is met by a Superkick. Matravers hops up top... ...Mile High Moonsault! 1...2... Exile rolls the pin over and hooks Matravers legs. 1...2...3! [B]Match Rating:[/B] C [B]Pag:[/B] The cheating bastard! [B]Manny:[/B] Err... hooking his legs isn't cheating. [B]Pag:[/B] Isn't it, Manny? Isn't it? [B]Manny:[/B] NO! [I]Exile heads to the back, pointing to his head, claiming that he outsmarted Matravers. Before long it is not long before the match spills to the outside. However, what should be a Fans Bring Weapons match soon turns into a 292-on-1 lumberjack match as the fans use their weapons to punish the champion. Cornell reaches into the crowd and pulls out a giant stuffed teddy bear. [B]Pag:[/B] What use is that gonna be? He rips off it's head to reveal the metal spike that keeps the head and torso together. [B]Pag:[/B] Damn it! Cornell drives the spike into Patterson's face. The giant falls to the concrete, clutching bhis bleeding forehead. [I]"THERE'S ONLY ONE CORNELL! THERE'S ONLY ONE CORNELL!"[/I] However, Randy Garcia smacks Cornell around teh head with his gavel. [I]"Garcia, woah-oh-oh-oh Garcia woah-oh-oh-oh He works for Southern scum He takes it up the bum"[/I] [B]Pag:[/B] The maturity of this crowd never ceases to amaze me... Cornell turns and punches Garcia to the ground. He applies the Tilt Grip. [I]"Ole, ole, ole... RANDY GARCIA IS GAY!"[/I] However, this gives time for Patterson to stand. He stomps on Cornell, orcing the challenger to release the hold. As Cornell stands, Patterson thumbs him in the eye... ...picks him up and drops him, groin-first onto the teddy bear's spike. [B]Manny:[/B] That should be illegal! [B]Pag:[/B] Why? He hasn't got anything down there anyway. As Cornell screams in agony, Patterson rolls him back in. CHOKESLAM! 1...2...3! [B]Match Rating:[/B] C- [B]Pag:[/B] Oh hell yes! Gregory pours only drinks for Warrior and Landlord this time. Meanwhile, Pag turns to UV and grins knowingly. Warrior downs his shot. [B]Moore:[/B] The Men Of Steel go one up! [B]Florence:[/B] ...and the alliance draw even. Sure enough, The Landlord downs his. McPeterson now downs a drink and UV matches. The announcers follow suit. [B]Moore:[/B] Wow, this is some of the best action I've seen in years! [B]Florence:[/B] This is what wrestling is all about folks. Again, Warrior downs. [B]Florence:[/B] That's a huge blow from The Highland Warrior! Again, The Landlord matches. [B]Moore:[/B] ...and a quite exquisite counter from The Landlord. This really is back and forth stuff! The "match" continues in the same fashion for a few more rounds. It comes back to Warrior's turn. [B]Warrior:[/B] Fook it! I'm completely fookin' sick of this namby pamby! The Scottish hero picks up a bottle of scotch instead of the shot glass and downs the whole thing. Martinez looks at The Landlord. [B]Martinez:[/B] You better match it. In the eighth minute, Griffin sets up his opponent fro a DDT. However, Matravers springs up to the top rope and hits a Flying Spinning Wheel Kick on Griffin. Morgan follows up with the Cross Atlantic Stretch for the win. [B]Match Rating:[/B] D+ [B]Pag:[/B] You see, Manny? You see? As soon as the bigger matches roll around, the men of steel start choking! They both tremble with rage as their piercing eyes rip straight through each other. Suddenly, Gauge lowblows Wood from behind. Patterson grabs him by the throat... CHOKESLAM! Gauge covers 1...2...3! [B]Match Rating:[/B] C- [B]Pag:[/B] Hahaha, yes! Take that you inbred, ferrel Canadian twat! [B]Manny:[/B] No... that's just plain wrong! [I]Patterson lifts Gauge onto his shoulders as Garcia applauds. The jeers are deafening as Gauge is presented with the Blood & Beer Title. Out of nowhere, Wood sits up. The cheers are now deafening.
