Davis and Whippy’s athleticism are clearly the highlight, though Cowboy Ben gets an A for effort (which is probably why he looked so exhausted at the end), and Ernie looks like he ate one too many cans of tuna. Cowboy Ben was eliminated by our resident Clown Prince of ‘Rasslin, followed promptly by Davis getting eliminated by Ernie. With Whippy and Ernie being the finalists, was there really any doubt doubt as to who would win this match? Ernie tried to end the match with The Slick Pimp Spike (a piledriver), but Ernie can’t get him up, and Whippy reverses into a back body drop! Whippy climbs to the top rope, and gets the pin after hitting his trademark finisher, The Joke’s On You! (a flying butt press…no, really!) Every single person in this match really hustled, and put the men in the previous outing to shame. The finish came when all the girls were down and out, except for Suzanne Brazzle, Sara Marie York, and Raven Nightfall. Suzanne and Sara double team Raven with a double suplex, momentarily stunning her. Suzanne and Sara then both scale the same ladder, reaching the top at the same time. Both ladies are atop the ladder, trading elbows, before Suzanne suplexed Sara off the ladder. This gave Raven, who was fully recovered and playing possum, more than enough time to re-position the ladder, and scale it to claim the belt hanging above her, becoming the first ever UFW Women’s Champion. Unlike over the top battle royal’s, one is eliminated by pinfall or submission. Jim Force was rather dominant, eliminating four of the ten competitors. The final four included: Jim Force, Matt Sparrow, Fox Mask, and Jacob Jett. Jett made the mistake of going up top, but Jim shook the ropes like a maniac, causing Jett to crash to the mat for the pin by Force. Right around that time, Matt Sparrow eliminated Fox Mask with his finisher, the Bird Brain Buster (a delayed brainbuster suplex). Force looked rather spent at this point; in fact, he managed to give an approaching Sparrow a FOOORCE KICK, and collapsed in a heap of sheer exhaustion. A momentarily stunned, Sparrow gives the audience of 18 that “I can’t believe my luck!” look, and was able to hit the Bird Brain Buster on him immediately. Sparrow goes for the cover, but with a surge of Forcemania running wild, Force kicks out at the last possible moment, and begins to no sell everything Matt Sparrow throws at him. In front of 18 screaming fans, Force shakes the ropes like a madman, seemingly invulnerable to all forms of mortal punishment. FOOORCE PUNCH! Sparrow falls, but gets back up! FOOORCE PUNCH! Down he goes, up he goes. FOOOORCE PUNCH! Sparrow doesn’t learn his lesson and gets up to another FOOORCE PUNCH! Snarling like a beast, he gives Sparrow a clothesline. A baker’s dozen clotheslines later, and Force pumps his arms like a hyena in heat. He goes to the top rope, and delivers his trademark flying double axe handle. Sensing the end is near, he gives the signal (OOC: what should the signal be?) sets up Sparrow for the Full Force (a suplex powerslam; think Goldberg’s Jackhammer), and nails it! 1…2…3! [B]Winner in 20:19:[/B] Jim Force [B]Rating:[/B] C- With a guaranteed shot at the UFW World title, and the right to choose any match type of his choice, Jim Force celebrates like he won Powerball, shaking the ropes, running around the ring like a madman, hugging everyone in sight that he can reach, dumping every drink he can find on himself. Instead, I was at the UFW offices updating the website, putting our first show on every streaming video website I could think of, and planning for the future. Despite the poor turnout, the show overall was almost everything I could have hoped for. Everyone really hustled and worked hard to produce a quality product. Sadly, the poor turnouts would probably continue for awhile longer, but everyone in the locker room understood, or at least gave the impression they understood. Also, Jim and I agreed a long time ago that with our strong financial situation, we should attempt to hold as many shows as possible in an effort, albeit a desperate one, to gain as much popularity and prestige as quickly as possible. The promotion as a whole wasn’t all that desperate at all, but Jim was rather desperate for UFW to rise quickly, and I understood why. I think. Given this, we’d ideally go with two shows per week, thus giving the workers enough time to physically recover between events. However, almost everyone on our roster works for other promotions, and since UFW was the smallest promotion around, we had less priority. So the next show we could hold where our entire roster was available was this upcoming Monday. I typed this into the UFW calendar, and made a note to contact everyone at a more convenient time. Davis and Whippy happen to show excellent chemistry teaming together. And on the opposite end of the spectrum, Ernie and Ben have zero chemistry teaming together. This more or less ensures we’ll see The Clown Prince’s Of Wrestling again, while The Slick Pimp Cowboys will likely disappear into obscurity after tonight. But at least the one time deal got the win, when Ernie Turner got the pin on Davis Wayne Newton after hitting the Slick Pimp Spike (a piledriver…no seriously). Heck, they were instructed to work the crowd, but they somehow made it special with a lot of strong execution, selling, and near falls. Hernandez went for a super kick, but Eagle ducks out of the way, and hits a super kick of his own! Force charges in for a clothesline, but X dodges and pulls on the top rope, and Force’s momentum gets him crashing onto the floor! Momentarily stunned, X has time to recuperate, and gets some shots in before trying to end this early with the Flaming Anarchy (presumably the finisher formerly known as the Flaming Moe, which would make this a Flying Butt Drop…no, really.). X’s arse crashes into a prone Force, and it looks like this one is over. But appearances can be deceiving; in this case, Force kicks out at the last possible moment, and makes a Forceful comeback! FOOORCE PUNCH! About 14 FOOORCE PUNCHES later, Jim Force signals for the end, hits his trademark flying double axe handle, and nails the Full Force (now with extra Force!) for the three count! Yaaay!
