Don Phoenix & Dave 'The Snake' vs. Mickey 'Flash' Reynolds & YIM Just because. Astil vs. Prime Second billing? Who do you think I am? I do like the fruity font you used for Astil's name though Mr Canada vs. 'Must Be' Mistaken Mr Canada doesn't belong in the Prime Time! G Cowboy vs. Team Funk Won't you take me to a funky town? El Comedor del Bebe vs. Panix Storm Yarrr! Dr James Casey & Jimmy the Hardcore Paparazzo vs. Gringo & Peter 'The Gentleman' Davis I'm a Gringo mark. Pretty Amazing should be fined, then kicked out of the stable, and jobbed out to all of us. And then keelhauled.

Prediction Key: Don Phoenix & Dave 'The Snake' vs. Mickey 'Flash' Reynolds & YIM Don Phoenix needs wins, and neither the Flash nor YIM are inspiring. Astil vs. Prime Like I said before, our run-ins are infinitely superior to yours! Mr Canadia vs. 'Must Be' Mistaken No question, this is a matter of sheer quality. Astil? We already know he's a lost cause. But Canadia? Do they even have TV in Canadia? Do they even spell Canadia right in Canadia? G Cowboy vs. Team Funk WOOOOOOO! GO GO EMU! El Comedor del Bebe vs. Panix Storm Sorry, but the big guy just can't tak out the pirate. Dr James Casey & Jimmy the Hardcore Paparazzo vs. Gringo & Peter 'The Gentleman' Davis Doc Casey pins everyone, including his own team-mate. BONUS PREDICTION DECISION!!!!: After the show 'Pretty Amazing' Thomas Tyler pranked Prime. YOU, the D2F faithful, can vote on what judgement is handed down! I say he's a talent unparallelled in this company, and don't see what all the fuss is about. Leave him be!

I'm going to hold off on predictions (except to say that Don Phoenix returns with a submission finisher--the Blaze of Glory anklelock :p--and kicks @rse) as due to work constraints I haven't been as able to keep up with this as I'd have liked. As for "Pretty Amazing," fine him, demote his push, and job him for a couple of months. If it happens again, riot act time. :D

It also looks like I'll have to write a segment to keep my pretty face on screen...
You are, in fact, highly active this month in segments. Your pretty face is, admittedly, not.
lol, should be good then. BTW, if you ever get a 'character needs freshening up' message for me let me know as I've got a couple of ideas that could be fun...

Just been prodded elsewhere, so to let everyone know... Destined to Fail is not dead. I have a lot of shows still in mind, a lot of gimmick matches, and I aim to get all of them in. It's likely that the company will hit bankruptcy at some point; when that happens, I plan to do a blowout final show which will be somewhat above and beyond the strangeness we've had so far, and in storyline 'fold' the BWA. At that point the data will lie fallow for a while, until either I get the urge again or someone else gets the urge - when I'd naturally pass on the data - when a new company can be started up employing many of the original cast. Before then? The Calvinball Match, the Doomsday Device Match, the Trunk of Funk, Astil taking Hell In A Cardboard Cell to the next level, and a whole lot more. So please accept my apologies for the delay. D2F is actually the most intensive thing to produce that I write, so it's vulnerable to slowdown.

BWA Breaking Point November 2009 St Luke's Church, Torquay Young Englishman: Welcome back, BWA fans, to the Breaking Point. To give you some idea, Prime takes on Astil once again – and that's not our main event! Emma Whatever: And we're promised the fallout from last month's Biker's Bonfire, where the Gentlemen's Club failed to make Los Muertos Rudos unmask. YE: We'll have more from the war between the Prime Time Players and Canada's Coalition, too. vs. YIM: Come ON. One of our main eventers is getting over by explaining who we're ripping off in detail as we do it? Who booked this crap? YE: That's kind of unfair. Prime works really hard. EW: Bit of a weird match this one, isn't it? YE: Well, these certainly aren't our typical tag teams, no. But there's a lot of young talent in this ring. Looks like YIM and the Snake will be starting us off...Dropkick by the Snake, ducked, elbow drop by YIM scores and some forearms to the face as the Snake tries to rise... EW: Neither of these guys have any wins, right? No wonder they're so intense about it... YE: Well, that's very true. Dave in particular has to be hungry for a win – this is more than four years since his debut match. YIM tries for a camel clutch; Dave counters to a snapmare, up and a dropkick to the back of the head. Tag to Don Phoenix, to the top rope and Don gives Dave a Rocket launcher onto YIM! EW: Turned around fast... YE: Anything can happen in the BWA. Sometimes that's more depressing than others. YIM scooped up – death valley driver! Blind tag by Mickey and in he comes – flying forearm ducked by the Don. Monkey flip takes Mickey down... EW: C'mon, Micky, I want my new TV... YE: So that's the side you bet on? EW: Dave never wins. Mickey was nearly champ. Basic maths. YE: You're a harsh, harsh woman. Mickey coming back with some stiff shots to the jaw, the Don is rattled, a bit of showboating – snap backbreaker by the Don! Mickey's in real pain! EW: Here comes YIM- YE: Snap suplex by the Don sends YIM crashing into Mickey's gut. Don covers on moth men – no way Mickey can kick out with two men's weight over him! One, two, three! EW: Did... did... did Dave the Snake just win? YE: Technically, yes. YE: Oh, Lord... looks like the ego trip is about to begin. McMenamin: I wish all of the plebeians in attendance a better evening than they deserve, an evening almost as perfect as I intend mine to be. It is not, of course, truly possible for you to have an evening so great; you lack the appreciation, the understanding of the finer things in life, that would enable you to truly live that greatest of dreams – but I wish you joy of your lot in life tonight nonetheless. The Maniac: Good mood, boss? McMenamin: Of course, my dear Piltdown Man, of course. Tonight you see your mentor in his finest fettle, as tonight our problems are solved. If I might, for a moment, address the imbeciles currently masquerading as Los Muertos Rudos – tonight, gentlemen, your deception comes to an end. We know you to be in the building, and by night's end we will have your masks in hand, your identities exposed. To that end, we have contracted Odin's ruffian James to provide a live feed update on our activities, that this travesty may be ended as swiftly as justice might hope. YE: But... they lost the match with the masks on the line. EW: And you expected them to fight fairly? YE: You have a point. vs. YE: Man, oh man... the amount of hatred these two must have for each other by now. EW: I'd bet Astil only joined Canada's Coalition to keep on fighting Prime. YE: Indeed, the Straight Edge Samurai has been proving the 'Marty Janetty' comparison wrong all the way. Prime opens fast with a running clothesline, countered into an armdrag. Astil moves – kicked off his feet by Prime, good reactions, both men up... EW: I don't think this match will end well. YE: You could well be right, but we'll see. Astil goes for a cross body, caught into a gutwrench suplex by Prime. Nice innovation there... stepping up the ropes into a spinout legdrop. Astil looks stunned by that... and Prime's going to the top rope... Astil kips up! Jumping dropki – DIVE! EW: He just wiped out our table! YE: Prime's down and he looks stagger- EW: AGAIN! YE: What? Oh my god, Astil's going up for a suicide swanton- EW: They just wrecked our ****ing table again! YE: Emma, this isn't entirely rel- EW: It's not cool anymore! YE: Oh for God's sake, we just missed a really cool moment, Astil just hit the swanton to the outside! He's dragging Prime to the ring- Oh, here it comes... Not that they've gone far- EW: I think Tyler Idol's gone to the bar. YE: Well, I guess that's one down. Mistaken leads with a headbutt – no technical wrestling here. Belly-to-belly suplex takes Canada down. EW: He can work it when he wants to! YE: He doesn't often, though. Wait- EW: That didn't take long. YE: Prime to the top rope – flying elbow drop on Mr Canada! Astil to the other turnbuckle – flying thrust kick drops Mistaken! Hyde Hill is in – the Revenant's in – WALL OF FLAME AGAIN! EW: The Prime Time Players are cut off from their boss! YE: Tyler Idol returns with chairs for everyone! Canada's Coalition with another carefully orchestrated beatdown thanks to Darth Sid's obstructions! Canada with the Down North on Mistaken! There's the bell! EW: Oh, no... Odin's in the ring... chokeslam for Astil! He rips a chair out of Idol's grip – LEX TALIONIS ON ASTIL! And now Odin's leaving again... EW: Hey, the telly's just come on... Los Muertos Rudos are jumped from behind; each of them is more than a match for one of their opponents, but a weight of numbers and foreign objects beats them down over time. Still fighting, they struggle as McMenamin attempts to rip Abismo Negro's mask off. A beer bottle arcs through the air, catching Maxx Hero in the temple – and the LNO are on the Gentlemen's Club from behind. Fending them off means letting go of Los Muertos Rudos, and that rapidly leaves them disadvantaged in a seven-on-five beatdown. The LNO high-five with Los Muertos Rudos before Matt Classic remarks “Phase three?” and the two groups scatter. vs. w/ EW: I just wanna say, for the record, that the emu still creeps me the hell out. YE: That's probably a good sign for your sanity, Emma. Who'd you pick for this one? EW: Difficult to say. I'd guess we're going to see the Heroes get themselves involved- YE: Is there any way to get a clean match around here without surrounding the ring with cardboard? EW: Drugs, probably. Anyway, that'd lead to a DQ win for Team Funk, but the Emu's a wildcard. Rod Hull never did so much damage. YE: Soviet Dancebot 5000 starts off with Richy G. The G-Boyo goes for a rolling wheel kick; Night Fever shuffle dodges clear for the Dancebot and a moonwalk roundhouse kick counters. Richy goes over the top rope - EW: LOOK OUT FOR THE EMU! YE: Careful! They go after people making that much noise! EW: I just noticed – there's some tinfoil on the emu's head... YE: G back in, snapmare takedown on the Dancebot, quick tag to the Cowboy, double-team dropkick! Smooth tag teamwork here, and- EW: Well, I was right. YE: Maybe that's why you keep getting job offers. YE: The Heroes just waiting at ringside right now – suicide dive by the Dancebot! Pants Boy is wiped out! Doktor Funkenstein is going toe to toe with Chris Funk! EW: I'm so glad I didn't put money on this one. It's going to go to count-out. YE: Yes, looks like it. Doktor Funkenstein salvages the emu and Team Funk beat a hasty retreat... Chris Funk has the microphone! Funk: Funkenstein! It's time to show these people the evil that dwells within you. The poison kernel to your funky nuts. YE: Emma, stop laughing. Funk: You and I both know how crucial that emu is to the fate of the world. You and I both know what you plan. I've stopped you every time before, and I guess I have to step up to the plate and try again. Next show, Funkenstein... just in time for Christmas... it's time we have ourselves a Doomsday Device Match. YE: Usually a match with a finisher name ends when you hit it, but I'm guessing this is something different. EW: I guess so. w/ vs. YE: Pirate Panix seems to be unable to escape the Asatru at the moment; having just got done with Odin and found Dr Casey at the throat- EW: Possibly literally. YE: - thank you, Emma – of his friend Jaffa, and I can't help but recall that Odin promised that he'd tear apart Panix's friends and family. EW: Yeah. I still don't know that I'm sure this isn't part of Odin's plan. YE: In any case, this match is one that champion Dr Casey has put between Panix and his championship belt – and El Comedor, of course, was also part of the vicious assaults on Jaffa. Panix starts out strong with a series of rights to the ersatz luchador, whip to the ropes, shoulder block by El Comedor knocks Panix down, legdrop attempted but Panix clear, to the ropes, jumps – he's got the Pirateline! Here he comes swinging back... EW: Is it still a dropkick when you're swinging from a rope? YE: Eh, close enough. Panix back again, lets go with a thunderous legdrop from six feet above his opponent, cover – one, two, no! EW: El Comedor is definitely tough. YE: Well, we all knew that. Comedor gets Panix, whip to the ropes, Polish hammer – he can't keep his fictional nationality straight, this guy – picks Panix up – onto the shoulder – running powerslam but Panix grabs the Pirateline and tugs himself clear! Comedor turns around into a huracanrana off the line – one, two, three! vs. EW: Tough break for El Comedor. YE: Well, roadblocks on the path to the champion have a history of not working out so good in the BWA. I guess here we're just seeing that the Asatru don't get an exception. The champion in action here tonight alongside Jimmy, and another of Pirate Panix's allies in Gringo faces him with everyone's favourite running mate, Pete 'The Gentleman' Davis. Where's your money riding, Emma? EW: Dr James Casey came into this company well over a year ago now. He still hasn't ever lost. Gringo's a former tag champion and a former champion, but I don't think we can view them the same way. YE: Sounds like you don't think there are many out there who can win against Casey. EW: Astil, maybe. He did beat Odin. Panix, same thing. And probably Prime, between the weight of numbers and the fact that honestly he's good enough not to need those numbers. YE: I should get you to discuss form more often. That's the most insightful commentary I've heard from you in some time. EW: Your mum. YE: That's a disturbing image. EW: Tell me about it. Freaked myself out now. YE: Jimmy in first against Gringo. Big boot to open it and Jimmy hits the ground hard. He's not had a great win-loss record, Jimmy, but he's resilient; look at him crawling to the ropes... Gringo just seems to be stalking him. EW: He's got the Rock's mannerisms down pat! YE: That's maybe a bit generous to Gringo, Emma, but I take your point. Stalking Jimmy as he rises... Gringo Bottom? No! Jimmy counters into an STO! EW: Jimmy can't believe it! COVER HIM, EEJIT! YE: They really should disqualify you from betting when you give advice like that. Jimmy makes the cover but Gringo had already recovered, DDT from Gringo! Tags to the Gentleman, looks like Pete's going for a figure-four – kicked clear and Jimmy tags in the champ! EW: Gonna get messy... YE: Backbreaker on Pete – Casey holds on and hefts him into the Jaffarack! Gringo can't take this – he's coming in! Jimmy in too, but the ref is allowing it... Casey throws Pete at Gringo, Gringo catches, leg sweep by Jimmy takes them both down... Casey drops a knee on Gringo to stun him, gesturing Jimmy to the top... EW: I didn't know Jimmy could fly... YE: Casey's getting in the ref's face, why – JIMMY'S GOT THE CAMERA! A photo from the top rope and then a diving camera shot to Gringo's head. Pete's picked himself back up – Cactus clothesline by Jimmy takes them both out of the ring, Casey covers Gringo- EW: He's not the legal man! YE: One, two, three! The ref got it wrong! EW: What's going to come of that? YE: I guess we'll find out next month! See you then, fans!
