I like the fact that you guys have your favourites, and if it means that your predictions aren't as solid, then so be it. It makes it more fun, especially as it's called the 'FanZone' not the 'TEW Experts-Zone'!

That said, I don't think predicting in this diary is the easiest thing in the world! The fact that 21 out of 32 was the winning score on that prediction contest tells me that. I do think a lot of the matches on the major cards could feasibly go either way.
Beeker
I think my best call was the draw in a Falls Count Anywhere match between Americana and either Perez or Umaga. I can't recall who it was, but my basis was solely that how can a Falls Count Anywhere NOT have a winner? Since I didn't see how that match would end, I wanted to see it. And for once I was right. Should have been worth more than one point though.

foolinc
Main Event is my bathroom break. I don't like Americana and Deeley is a poor man's Chandler. How are Deeley and Chandler anything alike? They are the same weight class, are both from CGC, and best at mat wrestling, but other than those three things they aren't even close to be like each other. Deeley is more like the man he replaced in Elite, John Maverick. Plus not liking American Elemental is just plain silly.

Marcel Fromage
Predictions are in and for anyone who thinks Deeley and Chandler are alike, just go re-read my CGC Diary and see the difference! Good idea - reading D-Mack's work is definitely worth it if you haven't done so already! Deeley and Chandler - it's quite tough to get characters across in a promotion such as this where they're actually not particularly important. But obviously for the diary I like them to have some kind of character. For what it's worth, I see Deeley as a more tough, no-nonsense, machine-like technician. I see Chandler more as a confident and arrogant all-rounder. Deeley is the 'Shooter' or 'Executioner' and Chandler is 'Fabulous'. I tend to think of Chandler and Steven Parker as being more similar to be honest, and therefore harder to differentiate in my thinking. Anyway...thanks for the predictions, guys. 14 in so far. I can use this post as a quick bump just to see if I can catch any extras wanting to join the party before I post up the FanZone page tomorrow (Saturday). Plus, there's a couple of regulars not on my list yet (Huntman and Maskedpropaganda, I'm looking at you! ). Also had some very amusing questions - won't be able to fit them all in the FanZone page, I'm afraid, but they did raise a smile. So - Aftershock card and predictions form is on the previous page of the thread. And so far I've had predictions from Foolinc, Phantom Stranger, angeldelayette, My Name Is Not..., BHK1978, MrOnu, randomfreeze, Beeker (yes, he's back for more!), Tigerkinney, Kovic (good to see you back!), SWFfan, Dragonmack, BigPapa42 (good to see you back too!) and Regis. Tigerkinney
Wow ! the presentation with this diary just gets better and better.... What am I talking about ? The awesome action shot of Deeley locking in the Shot In The Arm on Americana.
MrOnu
Is that it ? The presentation gets better and my prediction success goes down ? Does it really have to be that way ? 2 out 6... I'll at the bar waiting for Griffith if someone needs me.

No, it doesn't have to be that way! You can predict better! That's the only way it'll even up because I'm not planning on the presentation level dropping any! Anyway, Jack'll be along to the bar in a minute. He's on lemonade, if it's your round.

tristram
I probably short-sell myself a bit due to my own lack of creativity and therefore I don't tend to read as many C-V diaries as I should. I don't know why or how I missed this, but I've only just had a look, and I've been trying to speed read to catch up... Forget all that, what I really wanted to say is your presentation is, for wont of a better word, unbelievably awesome. I can barely use MS Paint... heh, and here is this master piece. Kudos to you for your set up, I am going to now sit back and read through what looks to be a well conceived masterpiece.
