American Fight Club - Pioneers of MMA

I walked towards my cell. Two weeks and I'll get out of here. "'Ey! Klein!" I shouted. Klein, my inmate, turned his head, smiled and answered with his smooth voice "Oh, Hi Lucas! How was the kitchen?". "Shut the hell up! You should do something else than just sit in the gym and lift weights. Have you ever heard about work?" I quickly said to him. "Work, eh? I've done a lot of work during my short life. I've beat up a lot of people for cash, you know!" he said. "Well, luckily I get out in two weeks so I don't have to stand you for a long time!" I mumbled. "You don't have to stand me?! All you do here is work and you study your stupid economy books! Do you know how frustrating it is to have a inmate who you could beat up whenever you want?" he said. "Well you sure could beat me but could you beat that karate kid who lives in the east wing? I bet you cant!" I answered to him. He looked at me with a suprised face and said "We'll see my friend! I'll challenge him tomorrow and we'll see!"...

And so the fight happened and Klein won with a knock out. There wasn't ANY rules and the karate kid kicked Klein to his nuts. As you can imagine Klein wasn't very happy after that. He threw a combination followed with HUGE left hand which knocked karate kid out.

We started to have more organized fights in the front yard of the prison. Klein has beaten up every one of his opponents. I attacked some random guy just to get a month more in the prison so I could organize these fights. But now it was time for me and Klein to get out of here. So my sentence was over and few weeks later Klein was out too. We had decided to continue our fighting organization...

(OOC: Sorry gotta go to sleep so I couldn't write more :/ I'll write more when I come from work tomorrow)

Building Up!

"So how are we going to continue our fighting thing?" Klein said to me while we were eating. "Hmm... I dunno. We need cash so we could hire some fighters." I answered. "Bah! We don't need to pay. I know a lot of guys who want to fight for free!" He said and continued "Just wait and I'll make few calls later. I'm sure that I get atleast 10 people!". I looked at him and smiled "You better!".

I was home reading an economy book when Klein entered the room with people following him. "I got 16!" he said. I looked at him amazed and answered "So, we'll hold a "show" next week?". "Sure. Just tell me when and we'll fight!" Klein said.

(OOC: I'm tired as hell... I might write something later...)

Afc 2

American Fight Club presents:

AFC 2: Pain in the Ass

We are happy to inform that the second AFC event will be held 27th of February. This event will feature another 8-man tourney and it will feature those who didn't fight last time. The winner of this tourney will fight against Scott Roy, the winner of AFC 1, for the AFC World title! Here are the fighters:

Gunnar Nilsson (0-0, Pit Fighting, Heavyweight): 27 years old Nilsson is a pit fighter from Sweden. He's an OK all-around fighter and he can fight very well on ground.

Harry Milne (0-0, Wrestling, Heavyweight): Milne is one of the most boring people to watch but he's an excellent strategist and he fights to the bitter end. He can submit most of his opponents.

Hunter Russell (0-0, Boxing, Middleweight): 18 years old Russell is one of the youngest fighters in the world. He's a good boxer and he has great conditioning but if the fight goes to ground it's goodbye for him!

Jim Carpenter (0-0, MMA, Welterweight): Jim Carpenter is one hell of a fighter. He can submit you, he can knock you out and he can control you how he wants. Actually his biggest weakness is his size...

Klein Riddick (0-0, Street Fighting, Middleweight): Klein is possibly the world's best boxer. That's actually only thing he can do. His punches can bring down a mountain but if the mountain tries to wrestle him then it's goodbye for Riddick.

Lars Bohlin (0-0, Wrestling, Featherweight): Lars Bohlin is the second swede in our tourney. He's a good wrestler for his size and his OK all-around fighter. His biggest problem is his size.

Mac Fuller (0-0, Boxing, Middleweight): Fuller is a good boxer but he struggles in ground. He can knock you out but he can't defend himself so well if opponent tries to take him down.

Manol Sirakov (0-0, Slugging, Heavyweight): 36 years old Sirakov is a huge fighter from Bulgaria. He has more power than most of AFC's fighters but that's the only good thing in him.

QF 1: Gunnar Nilsson (0-1) vs. Logan Harrison (0-0)

Reason-Nilsson is a pit fighter but Harrison is a Wrestling, i see Harrison taking it to the ground each round and get a KO or just win via UD

QF 2: Hunter Russell (0-1) vs. George Laurent (2-1)

Reason-Was unsure on this one but due to there records alone i picked Laurent.

QF 3: Dai Towe (0-0) vs. Fernando Amaro (0-0)

Reason-Weight Difference will play a factor in my opinion. Plus Towe doesnt have much power while Amaro is a consistent threat.

QF 4: Bruce Lee Thomas (1-1) vs. Francesco Marazzina (0-1)

Reason-Again weight difference, and with Bruce Lee in his name he has to atleast get to the Semi's

Semi Final 1: Logan Harrison vs. George Laurent

Reason-Laurent is bad at ground fighting, Harrison is a wrestling champ. Despite getting to the finals of the first tournament i just cant see Laurent winning.

Semi Final 2: Fernando Amaro vs. Bruce Lee Thomas

Reason-Yet again i think weight difference is the key.

Final: Logan Harrison vs. Bruce Lee Thomas

Reason-Bruce Lee Thomas not comfortable on his back...Just see other Harrison fight predictions.

Main Event: 'Devil Dog' Scott Roy vs. Klein Riddick for the AFC World title!

Reason-Just a gut feeling.
