See, you throw stuff out there like this and its just a big tease. I am very curious as to the names that are being overlooked. I tried to consider my votes very very carefully, but I felt like I had to be overlooking some very deserving writers. Now you have me even more paranoid that I did. Hyde Hill
I think he meant vote givers not vote recievers lolz. Still the choice is painstackingly hard even knowing or thinking you know most of the "possibly deserving" writers.

I think my wording might be miss leading a little. There has been no shortage of love. there have been 18 voters so far, and they have voted for 17 different writers. No my Surprise is not over who has or has not received votes. but who has not sent in their votes. And I am guessing it is because there are so many qualified candidates. Marcel Fromage
Just PMd my picks. Very, very tough. Surprised at so few voters so far though. Given how many people are currently active on the diary of the month polls, I'd think there'd be a greater take-up. Like you said, still a couple of weeks left. Eisen-verse
I would love to vote but I'm super-duper new to this forum and wouldn't really have a good viewpoint on who should be inducted to such a high standing. Maybe next year I'll have a better idea of who should be here. Excited to see who gets inducted this year though!

Yeah, I think super-duper new is a bit of an iffy statement when you've racked up nearly 1,500 posts! Your votes carry as much weight as anyone's! Your votes carry as much weight as anyone's! haha. Super new to this forum though. I've been hovering around the General Board for quite some time now but it's only been since this last winter that I've actually stopped in the Diary forum and taken notice as to what was going on. Anyways, though, I may try to see what I can conjure up.

The Final Countdown
Haven't sent in my votes yet because I'm checking out some of the past writers that people have suggested in this topic, but one name that I know for sure will be on my list is Wildfire1324. With all due respect to all of the great writers on this board, no one has managed to make me care about their storylines and characters quite like Wildfire has in his excellent take on a modern-day NWA resurgence. His character development is awesome, his promos incredible (I'll never forget that awesome promo by Mark Magnus after he was unmasked), and his match write-ups are top-notch. I don't think I've seen anyone as good at giving a match a "big time" feel. Every match for the NWA title just seems to have a "buzz" surrounding it that most real-life promotions can't manage these days. I can honestly say that I am more interested in Wildfire's ongoing storylines than I am in just about anything going on in actual, real-life wrestling today (aside from heel CM Punk.) Plus, reading his diaries was my primary inspiration in starting my own up, so I've gotta give him props for that too .

The Magnus promo was unbelievable... He should've ben hired by the WWE on that alone... and I agree with you 100% about being more interested in his fictional NWA resurgence than anything going on in the real world of wrestling
Self
Similar to Eisen-Verse, I'm fairly new to the diary section. I never really came in here until I decide to write my own diary, and even now I'm not a huge reader. Similar to DOTM nominations, I don't feel it's my place to put my uneducated voice in without doing a ton of research first... and I'm not sure if I can find the time or energy to do said research. mistaken
26 votes in, I think that is huge. But some of the most active members, are still mulling thier decisions. I hope to see a wave of votes coming in this weekend. I would love to see 60+ people way in on this.

Nominate Me Then, I see you Eyeballing My Diary Naw, but In all fairness, I completely understand this, it's pretty hard once you've not been able to continue following your old favorites, happened to me a couple times, and It's been pretty hard to catch up

mistaken
votes have kind of trailed off. Those of you who have not voted, and know you must, take your time, but get them in. I don't want to have to spam inboxes at the end of the month to get what I am after.
