[seated around the desk in Sam Strong's office are some of the finest men and toughest wrestlers that have been around in several decades. As well as one of the toughest young women wrestlers in the current product. Sam takes the first seat and clockwise from him is his daughter Alicia Strong, myself whom we will call The Masked Assassin as my true given birth name is irrelevant, Peter Valentine, Micky Starr, Commissioner or Corporal Doom and Shane Sneer, who pulls double duty as commentator and manager.]

Sam Strong: "Good evening everyone and thank you for joining me this evening as we come to the end of the 2007 year and embark upon a new journey in 2008. As most of you know, generally at the place beside my daughter has been Shane Sneer, who has held up the Head Booker position for a very long time by my side. But as some of you who have been in this business can attest, the head booker role is one that can prodvide tremendous strain upon a person. Therefore, I have accepted the resignation of Shane Sneer from the Head Booker position. Within the last month of 2007, I conducted several secret interviews with several talented men, including the likes of Jack and Charles Avatar and others to determine someone who would replace Shane within this vital position."

Alicia Strong: "My father and I have both conducted this search, which is a reason why I have not been on USPW American Wrestling within the last month. We spoke with several men who thought to change the product of USPW. They thought to bring in a bunch of cruiserweights or technicians or other wrestlers who simply do not fit the product of what we have been pushing here in USPW. Our focus is on the stories that we can tell, not necessarily the in-ring competition."

Sam Strong: "So without further adue, I introduce everyone to the newest member of the USPW staff: The Masked Assassin."

The Masked Assassin: "I am sure that many of you are wondering just why I am being referred to as my in-ring name here in this context versus my real name and to be honest I have not gone by my real name in a very very long time. I have worn this mask since I was 16 years old. I even sleep with it on, keeping my identity a secret. Sure, it disallows me the opportunity to meet the President but there is something about keeping that mystery alive that has done well for me over the years. I have gone by several different in-ring names but this is the one that I will be using here in USPW. I have wrestled all over the world but never won the big world title. I've always been that role player that turns storylines and is just that notch below the main guys and it is a position that I have become comfortable in and one that I will probably remain in when speaking about my in-ring future. Micky, Doom, you two and I have wrestled each other before. I have also wrestled Sam. However, the matches were not within the main event. But I feel that I have a lot to add from a storyline point of view when it comes to USPW and I hope that my input will put us further along in our competition with Tommy and Richard."

Micky Starr: "Alright, speaking of storylines, we're heading into a new year and we have some storylines to address. Everyone in this room knows that Richard has his eyes dead set on Darryl Devine and Chris Caulfield and he is going to do whatever is within his power to sign those two within the next few weeks. This means that we need to have an ending to the James Justice and Chris Caulfield war that has been raging these last few months. I am looking at an ending at our first American Wrestling card of the year where James battles Chris inside a steel cage. The next part is transitioning from there to a feud with someone like T-Rex or Anger."

Sam Strong: "Hold on just a moment."

[sam rose to his feet at that point in time and walked over to the door, making sure that it is closed tight and that the rest of this meeting is for executive ears only.]

I think this is only his sixth or so :p

I'm not trying to be mean spirited towards ya Angel. In fact I think your a good guy. I even think your diaries have a fair bit of humor in them. I know two tries ago you made that pledge that you'd go a year without starting a new USPW diary....well not only did you fail to complete that pledge, this is your SECOND diary since making that pledge. That tells me that you are atleast aware of your problem of not sticking with a promotion. I'm no saint I've done three diaries in about two years and two of them I failed upon so I'm not saying you can't ever stop a diary.

I know you've cited cpu problems, a better understanding of the game/promotion/world your booking, taking your game too far off of its original course, etc. All of these can kill a game easily I know. Let me just point out something you may have not thought of from a readers point of view Angel.

I myself as a reader I love reading some of the diaries on here. In fact I make it a point for the diaries to get a few pages in before I start reading so that I'm sure their sticking with it.

I guess my point is if you look at the "top" diaries going right now. Or the most popular. Click to sort the Dynasty section by views. You'll see names like Nevermore, James Casey, NoNeck, Tigerkinney, BigPappa, infinitywpi all of these names have something in common.

If you've read any of their diaries a lot of them openly admit to things not going as "planned" in the diary. Infinity struggled to move up past regional with his promotion I believe. BigPappa openly admits he let his roster get too far out of control. James Casey I believe talked at one time about a lot of his bigger stars getting too big for his promotion. Nevermore was so dedicated to his diary that when a new version of TEW came out he converted his game into its own world to continue playing it.

At the end of the day have fun its a game, I've just meant this to be a bit of advice from someone who's lurked in the dynasty section since TEW 07 was released.

Due to the reaction that this has already gotten, consider this diary closed. I would appreciate it if a mod would come in here and delete the entire thread and that no one else will post here so that at the very least it dies to the bottom of oblivion. Period. I am still getting over my pneumonia and very not in the mood to deal with all the negativity.

First of all, I do think that I took the posts here a lot harder than I normally would have if I were not sick. A lot of the posts were meant as advice and not as some negative comments.

Lexa90,

You have always been my biggest supporter as far as all of my diaries go. So, for you, I will work to continue this diary.

[several hours later, a plan was drawn up for several possibilities as we head toward the first major show of the season. A lot of what would happen would depend upon the crowd's reaction to what we have set up. After all, the crowd's attention is why we do the things we do, right? By now, most of the staff members have made their exit to take care of this and that and I was left within the room alone with the most powerful man within USPW.]

The Masked Assassin: "I think that first meeting went well."

Sam Strong: "I think it did too. I think you've got a great head on your shoulders and you will do fine for the company. If I had any doubts, then honestly you wouldn't be here."

The Masked Assassin: "I can understand that, Mr. Strong. I am very glad to have your confidence in me."

Sam Strong: "Of course, this doesn't mean that I won't have any say in your decisions. I will have a major say as owner of this company. In particular, the finances will be a major point in my world. I know that you have to spend money to make money, especially in this business, but I am not looking to have to fight my way out of debt. We have also discussed our plans for Bruce and Nicky. Nicky is the future for this business and Bruce is the present. I expect those two to always have a place here."

The Masked Assassin: "Very doable, Sam. You know I have a lot of respect for Bruce and what he's done in this industry. Sometime down the road I can see building toward a Bruce/James rematch. But that won't be until further down the road. At the present, we will be working on those storylines we spoke about earlier. I have noticed that there has been some roster turnover here lately. Do I have the authority to reach out to some wrestlers that I have worked with over the years?"

Sam Strong: "Of course. But I have final approval on each and every wrestler that you bring in. And don't think about bringing in a bunch of these cruiserweight type wrestlers like Cliff enjoys. Everything still has to fit into the mold of USPW."

[i nodded though the wheels were definitely turning within my mind. So much to do and so little time, right?]

It is a new year and with a new year comes new expectations here in USPW. But what you can expect is the same great USPW action that you have always seen, including a great show to lead off the new year.

The Hillbillys have slowly been moving up the tag team ranks here in USPW within the past few months, defeating every team in their path. But they can they defeat this next team here as they take on the team of the powerful Eric The Bull and the suave Lex Appeal?

A trio of last chance matches will also be on the card. The first one being a USPW World Television Title defense. Nicky Champion has been assaulted over the last several months by both Java and Tribal Warrior. Tonight, Nicky gets a chance to finish that as he defends the belt against both of them in a triple threat elimination match where if Nicky wins neither of them get another title shot for a month.

Another of the last chance matches includes the team known as the Forces of America. Jim Force and Captain USA have been turned back for several months against the Towers of Powers. The Towers have retained their belts via getting DQed or counted out for the last two big cards but tonight if either of those happen they will lose the belts to the Forces. But if the Forces do not win the match, they have to break up as a team. We will see something monumental no matter what happens.

And in our main event, we have a steel cage battle. Everyone has seen the damaging war that has occured between James Justice and the Hardcore American Chris Caulfield for the past 6 months. There have been countouts and DQs and not even hardcore bouts have been able to settle this blood feud. And that is why we bring in the biggest of matches: the steel cage match! James Justice defeated Chris Caulfield in a last man standing match at the latest big card but can he do the same this evening against the Hardcore American? Chris Caulfield scored a nontitle pinfall over Justice at the last American Wrestling show, can he do so inside a steel cage to win the title that has been eluding him?

Plus more action!

USPW AMERICAN WRESTLING!

Wednesday Week 1 January 2008

Location: Huntsville Fairgrounds

Attendance: 4,893

Overall Rating: C-

TV Rating: .26

Pre Show: Peter Valentine defeated Darryl Devine in 7:34 by pinfall with a Heart Breaker...D

Pre Show: A music video is shown to promote Sam Strong...B+

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/Liberty.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/ChrisCaulfield_alt1.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/Seduction.jpg

[The show opens with a video of last week's non title match between James Justice and Chris Caulfield. Caulfield picked up a controversial pinfall over Justice with a little distraction from Seduction. This week that won't be possible though since their match will be inside a steel cage!]

[The crowd were on their feet when the cameras focused inside the arena. The USPW World Champion James Justice is headed right toward the ring. He slides inside and is handed up a microphone to kick things off.]

James Justice

"DUDES! This evening will be the final chapter in my war with the man known as the Hardcore Ameridude. Caulfield, you may have gotten the pinfall on me last week, dude, but this week that is NOT going to happen. This week, inside the steel cage..."

['Hardcore American' begins to play, interrupting the USPW World Champion and out comes Chris Caulfield and Seduction to a mixed reaction from the crowd as they walk down to the ring. James Justice looks prepared for anything as Caulfield and Seduction step inside the ring and Caulfield is given a microphone.]

Chris Caulfield

"Hold on just a moment, James. Don't worry. I'm not here to kick your ass...yet. That will come later on tonight when we step inside the ring for that shiny gold belt around your waist. You think that you can beat me in this type of hardcore environment? Inside of a 15 foot high steel cage? There is no way that you can rob me of my moment of glory tonight. Tonight, I truly believe that we are both going to bleed, we are both going to sweat and we are both going to pay the price. But the bottom line, dude, is that tonight when all the smoke clears and the dust settles, the Hardcore American is going to walk away with the belt."

[James paces for a moment and then looks back toward Chris, moving up nose-to-nose with him.]

James Justice

"Dude, are you done yet? Seriously? Tonight inside that steel cage with this belt on the line, two dudes walk into the cage and only one dude walks out with the title. Tonight, for the final time, Justice will be served."

['Liberty' begins to play and James steps away from Chris, looking down at Seduction for a moment before heading toward the back.]

Match #1

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/NickyChampion.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/Java.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/TribalWarrior.jpg

USPW World Television Title Match

Elimination Match

Last Chance Match

Nicky Champion defends vs. Java vs. Tribal Warrior

[The opening matchup here on USPW American Wrestling is a triple threat matchup for the USPW World Television Title! Though the story had been going for awhile now, the fans were not as high on the matchup as one would hope. There was several double-team moves by the Savage Fury team on Nicky Champion but Nicky managed to get Tribal Warrior in the ring alone and hit him with the Hawkeye Hammer, making the cover and getting the three count! Java climbed back into the ring and attacked Nicky following the elimination and got several near-falls quickly on Nicky but the World Television Champion had that never-say-die attitude that makes him successful here in USPW. He managed to avoid a clothesline from Java and hit him with the Hawkeye Hammer, getting the pinfall and being successful over both members of Savage Fury!]

Winner: Nicky Champion

Match Rating: E+

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/T-Rex_alt1.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/SheikMustafa_alt.jpg

[The crowd booed though as Sheik Mustafa led T-Rex, the Jurassic Power, down to the ring behind Nicky Champion! T-Rex locked in the Jurassic Crush from behind and began swinging Nicky Champion as Champion dropped the title belt and struggled to break free but he eventually succumbed to the hold and T-Rex dropped him, picking up the title belt and looking at it before draping it across the prone waist of Nicky Champion. Sheik Mustafa made the 'belt' motion at his waist and the two headed to the back.]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/BrucetheGiant.jpg

[The cameras quickly go backstage following that attack where the massive Bruce The Giant is shown lying on the ground and taking up much of a hallway as blood drips down his forehead. He's shaken and there are EMT's on the scene. His words can be overheard as he tells the paramedics that he has no idea what happened. A black hood is shown laying on the ground to the back and left of him though it isn't referenced.]

Match #2

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/Oscar.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/BullWrecker.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/AlTheHillbilly.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/PeteTheHillbilly.jpg

Lex Appeal and Eric The Bull vs. The Hillbillys

[This match was mostly dominated by the two lovable country bumpkins. The crowd showed a slight amount of pleasure in them but overall this was definitely a bathroom break and concession stand period. Al got the pinfall on Lex Appeal with a Southern Legdrop to continue the Hillbilly's recent streak of wins.]

Winners: The Hillbillys

Match Rating: F+

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/DesDavids.jpg

[A video begins, highlighting the short career of the former college football player here in USPW. He has proven himself to be a very good wrestler and has amassed an impressive winning streak that the fans are starting to get behind. At the end of the video, Des Davids looks into the camera and yells "WHO'S NEXT?!?!"]

Match #3

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/MickMuscles.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/DannyRushmore.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/CaptainUSA.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/JimForce.jpg

USPW World Tag Team Titles Match

Last Chance Match

The Towers of Power defend vs. The Forces of America

[These two teams have been feuding with the Towers losing by DQ or Countout in order to keep the gold but tonight if they lose by either then they lose the belts but if the Forces lose then they have to split up!

Another match that didn't live up to expectations. Both teams had members that were off their games and that hurt the overall of the match. The Towers showed off their skills on Captain USA throughout the match with various double-team moves and distractions of the referee so the outside guy could attack or choke the Captain. The crowd cheered some when Jim Force was tagged in, though! The Force dominated both Muscles and Rushmore. Captain USA tagged back in but was eventually hit with the Atomic Boot by Danny Rushmore! Rushmore made the cover: 1 -- 2 -- 3! And that is the end of the Forces of America!]

Winners: The Towers of Power

Match Rating: E+

[Following the ending of the match, Danny and Mick both had smug looks as they took their belts and slid out of the ring, waving goodbye to the Forces. Jim and Captain looked at each other for several long moments before Captain USA extended his hand -- Jim Force took it! The former Forces of America embraced in a hug and raised their arms up to some cheers from the crowd! What a scene!]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/Liberty.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/ChrisCaulfield_alt1.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/Seduction.jpg

[A video begins to play highlighting the war and feud that has been waged over the USPW World Title! This is the Hardcore American's last chance at greatness! Will he win the World Title or squander this opportunity away?]

Match #4

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/Liberty.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/ChrisCaulfield_alt1.jpg w/ http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/Seduction.jpg

Steel Cage Match

USPW World Title Match

Last Chance Match

James Justice defends vs. Chris Caulfield

['Hardcore American,' a tune written for USPW resident Chris Caulfield begins to play and out comes the man himself along with Seduction. Seduction is stationed at ringside, while Caulfield steps inside the steel structure and moves over to his corner, playing up some to the crowd, who give him a positive reaction! Then his tune is faded out for 'Liberty!' The crowd explodes as James Justice walks out from the back, hearing several 'DUDE' chants from various portions of the arena. Justice listens in for a moment at the top of the ramp and then heads down toward the ring, stepping inside the steel cage and coming nose-to-nose with Chris Caulfield. The two jaw for several moments as referee Baby Jamie steps in between them to seperate them. Baby Jamie holds up the USPW World Title belt and explains that this match can be won via either pinfall, submission or escaping the cage. The belt is placed outside the ring and then the door to the cage is closed. Referee Baby Jamie signals for the bell and the match is on!

Though these two men have wrestled several times before, there is still a bit of a feeling-out process in the beginning of the match that leads to several stalemates and neither man getting the advantage. Both men try to ram the other into the steel cage early, only to be blocked by that person. Seduction cheers on Caulfield from ringside and watches as her man rakes the eyes of Justice, causing boos from the crowd but it doesn't stop Caulfield as he starts pounding on Justice in a corner. Caulfield hooks Justice and hits a hanging brainbuster on the USPW World Champion. Caulfield makes a cover: 1 -- 2 -- KICKOUT! No surprise that the Champ kicks out early on. The Hardcore American manages to be the first to send his opponent into the steel cage and the early blow to Justice's forehead busts him open, showing the damage that has already occured during this war. The Hardcore American set up Justice for a Piledriver -- BLOCKED! Justice blocks it a second time and he's able to elevate Caulfield in a back body drop, sending Caulfield to the mat and Justice down to his knees.

The crowd gets behind the Champ with chants of 'Jus-Tice' and 'DUDE!' Both men are slow to get to their feet. Caulfield charges and Justice ducks a clothesline. Justice suddenly bounces off the ropes and hits a high knee to the back of Caulfield, sending Caulfield into the steel cage! Caulfield falls to the mat and Justice looks toward the cage, beginning to climb the steel structure! Seduction yells for Caulfield to get up and then tries to distract Justice by yelling at him! The distraction works for a moment but a moment is all Caulfield needs to get at the ankle of Justice and pull him down. Justice and Caulfield exchange blows near the ropes with Caulfield being busted open here and both men bleeding from the punches. The punches finally knock both men to the mat and they are both slow to get up. The referee does not count because he's only instructed to count a pinfall or submission or cage escape...

...Moving ahead to the finish, both men have been bloodied, bruised and battered and are trying to escape the cage. They throw light weight punches at each other near the top of the cage, neither having much strength behind them as the match has gone over 20 minutes in length. Caulfield uses his elbow to hit Justice and the USPW World Champ nearly falls off the cage and Caulfield uses this opportunity to draw one leg over the top of the cage. Justice manages to right himself as Caulfield gets the other leg up and Justice grabs the leg! James Justice pulls that leg back down and climbs to the top of the cage as well! Some more punches are thrown from that precarious position and Justice gets the advantage this time. But he hooks Caulfield...

OH...

HOLY...

****!!!

James Justice just hit the Liberation Slam from the top of the cage all the way down to the ring! Everyone knew this war would end on a high note but never that! Both men are lying prone on the mat with no movement in sight! After several long minutes, James Justice slowly but surely raises an arm and puts it across the chest of Chris Caulfield:

1...

2...

3!!]

Winner: James Justice

Match Rating: C

[What a war that was and what a finish! The crowd is roaring their approval as James Justice is announced as the winner and given the USPW World Title belt! But then the crowd begins to boo...]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/GiantRedwood.jpg

[Giant Redwood comes rumbling down to the steel cage as the door is opened. Redwood steps inside the ring and reconnects the door so that no one can come inside the cage and then turns his attention on Justice, dropping him with a big boot to the skull! The crowd boos loudly as Redwood bounces off the ropes and hits the Standing Splash, leaving Justice clutching at his ribs. Redwood bounces off the ropes again and hits a second Standing Splash! 465 pounds on those ribs cannot be good for James Justice! Redwood picks up the title belt and raises it up with a bellow as the crowd boos and the show is ended on such a horrible, horrible note!]

[The first show went on truly without a hitch and without much complaint from Sam Strong aside from the number the television rating did. Only a .26. That was sorely low but things have only just started turning around. But there was some positive things that have occured this week and I met Sam Strong within his office to speak on these things.]

Sam Strong: "Good evening, Assassin. You are the one who requested this meeting so let's have it."

The Masked Assassin: "Alright, I have that list of wrestlers that I wish to go after and sign. Each of these contracts are simply waiting for your okay."

[i slid the list to Sam Strong and he gave it a look over for a moment.]

The Masked Assassin: "Most of the males I am looking at signing have a past with Shane Sneer and his Southern Class Championship Wrestling. In fact, that is where I met most of them. I know that Jack has had his problems with alcohol but he is working on getting clean and I think he can still be a productive member of any roster. Ernie is a young talent who got his start with Shane Sneer and Shane has assured me that he will be a great talent here in USPW. The females have come from my scouting of AAA at their latest show: Pretty Amazing and some talk with Catherine Quine. She is also interested in beginning a working agreement with us and I think that would be beneficial to our company so we can bring in a new slew of female wrestlers."

[sam looked a little incredulous at all this information coming out at once. I didn't know whether it was a good thing or a bad thing.]

Sam Strong: "Is that all?"

The Masked Assassin: "Not quite. I have a cousin who works for the pay-per-view company: U-Demand. I have spoken with him and if I get permission from you, I will work on getting a contract to promote our big shows on pay-per-view for all the fans to see across the nation."

Sam Strong: "This is a lot to take in, Assassin. I will review the monetary concerns when it comes to the contracts that you are proposing and get back to you on those if I believe that we can take them on without jeopardizing our current talent. I don't expect any more signings for a very long while and I also expect you to slightly shore up our tag team division. The storylines are beginning to flow and we will see what happens in the future. You're dismissed."

[There wasn't much left that I had to say so I gathered my things up, shook hands with Sam and left. I have another show to prepare.]

USPWrestling.com...

Last week we saw some great action here on USPW American Wrestling, including successful title defenses by Nicky Champion, The Towers of Power and James Justice. Will we see the same this week as we have one title match with James Justice defending the USPW World Title.

Our show is going to kick off with the return of 'The Boss' Daughter' Alicia Strong. She is going to be returning inside the ring against the former cheerleader and gymnast Nadia Snow, no slouch inside the ring.

Des Davids will look to continue his recent win streak. Who's Next? Eric The Bull.

'The Hardcore American' came up just shy of claiming the USPW World Title last week and this week he will be giving his farewell address as he prepares to leave USPW. Peter Valentine will be looking to spoil that farewell inside the ring as the two go one on one.

And in our main event, the USPW World Title is going to be defended as James Justice takes on the return of the former Demon Anger! Anger was last seen hearing voices and walking off into the sunset but now he returns to USPW action in a big title match here on American Wrestling.

Plus more action!

Alicia Strong vs. Nadia Snow

Des Davids vs. Eric The Bull

Lex Appeal vs. Jim Force

Captain USA vs. Giant Redwood

Peter Valentine vs. Chris Caulfield
