USPW: Long Hard Road From Cult

Recommended Posts

Well seeing that the who should be champion question is still open, I will throw in my two cents.

I can not really see anybody else with the title, besides Bruce The Giant and James Justice. Maybe Steve Flash if his popularity is high enough but other than that those are the only two I could see holding the title.

Now granted I would be happy to see Anger get a run with the title. But we all know that is not going to happen. As he is too old and not all that great in the ring. So I am just happy with him holding the midcard title.

Erik Strong vs. ???

Erm...dunno. Hell's Bouncer?

Freddie Datsun vs. Captain USA

I hate the Captain. One of my least favourite C-verse characters. He just looks like a total schlep.

USPW AMERICAN WRESTLING!

Wednesday Week 2 May 2008

Location: North Carolina Biker Museum

Attendance: 2,000

Overall Rating: C

TV Rating: .51

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/Liberty.jpg

[The show opens up within the North Carolina Biker Museum for the second week in a row. These rabid 2,000 fans are on their feet ready for a week of USPW American Wrestling action. The crowd cheers wildly as 'Liberty' begins to play and out walks the USPW World Champion James Justice! James gives a smile and holds up the title belt before walking straight down to the ring and inside to kick off the show.]

James Justice

"DUDES! Last week, a brand new number one contender was announced as being the American EveryDude Freddie Datsun. Now, I know that nobody likes him right now and with good reason. He is the kind of guy that never lets any true Justice get served. He always thinks that he can bring in his own brand of Justice but that just doesn't work against me. American EveryDude, you and I are gonna meet for this belt in just a couple of weeks and I can tell you that when you step inside this ring with me, I will make sure that Justice is served, Dude. Just like with everyone else who has faced me. Which brings me to tonight's title defense. Didn't I already finish off the Giant RedDude? Seriously? RedDude, just like in every one of our other matches, you're gonna find out the same thing that Freddie Datsun is gonna find out: when James Justice steps inside the ring, Justice is served, DUDE!"

['Liberty' begins to play again and Justice poses for a few moments before heading to the back.]

Match #1

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/JackGriffith.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/NickyChampion.jpg w/ http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/AliciaStrong.jpg

Jack Griffith vs. Nicky Champion

[Our opening matchup was another example of the bad chemistry bug not going away. I thought I got my vaccination for that. Despite the bad chemistry between these two, Alicia Strong looked good at ringside and the match was only barely below average. The former USPW World Television Champion picked up the win following the Hawkeye Hammer but Jack Griffith still looked like a contender.]

Winner: Nicky Champion

Match Rating: C-

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/DemonAnger.jpg

[A little surprising to the crowd was that Anger slipped out from the back following the match. Anger slipped under the bottom rope and Nicky turned to look at him, taking a hard shot from the World Television title belt! Anger slipped a smile across his lips, pulling out a bottle of Coca Cola. He opened it and poured it down on top of Nicky Champion! The crowd booed this and Anger slipped out, cradling the empty bottle against his chest.]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/PlayboyJakeSawyer.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/GiantRedwood.jpg

[The camera cuts backstage, showing Playboy Jake Sawyer and his client Giant Redwood.]

Playboy Jake Sawyer

"Tonight, James Justice, you're going to learn that what it all comes down to is the almighty dollar. I spent a lot of my good hard-earned money to purchase the contract of this large man beside me and I don't just throw my money around. Giant Redwood, tonight I am paying you to walk away with the USPW World title belt around your waist."

Giant Redwood

"That's ---"

Playboy Jake Sawyer

"That's right, Giant Redwood. Because you know, just as everyone here knows that everyone has a price for the Playboy Jake Sawyer."

[sawyer tosses his head back and laughs, patting Redwood on the shoulder as we head back to the ring.]

Match #2

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/ErikStrong.jpg w/ http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/SamStrong.jpg

Erik Strong vs. ???

[Erik Strong is led down to the ring by Sam Strong for this matchup. Once they get inside, they await the wrestler that Corporal Doom has chosen as an opponent. The crowd is on it's feet looking toward the top of the ramp as a slightly unknown wrestler steps out from the back and heads toward the ring.]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/JayChord.jpg

[steve Smith and Sara Silver announce this man as being the son of the great Rip Chord: Jay Chord. This matchup between two relatively unknown wrestlers did not get the crowd's attention very much. Jay Chord showed an improvement in his performance skills within this match. Erik Strong showed a little bit during this matchup, showing why he is the son of Sam Strong. These two men with legacies battled back and forth until Chord caught Strong with a rollup and used his feet on the ropes to get the three count!]

Winner: Jay Chord

Match Rating: D-

[Following the sound of the bell, a stunned Sam Strong stepped into the ring, confronting Jay Chord. A few words were said off microphone and Jay Chord kicked Sam in the gut! Jay hooked Sam Strong -- CRADLE PILEDRIVER! The crowd booed as Jay Chord asked for and received a microphone.]

Jay Chord

"First of all, I really don't care about the feud between Corporal Doom and Sam Strong. What those two old fossils choose to do between naps is none of my business. But what is my business is the fact that I was able to use that feud to get my first match here in United States Pro Wrestling. There are people in my position who would call themselves legend killers and go after each and every dinosaur here in USPW but I don't consider myself to be a legend killer. I consider myself more of a grave digger and I will be putting these old horses out to pasture one fossil at a time."

[The crowd booed heavily as Jay Chord dropped the microphone and gave one more quick stomp to the head of Sam Strong before exiting the ring with a confident smile.]

Match #3

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/FreddieDatsun.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/CaptainUSA.jpg

Freddie Datsun vs. Captain USA

[The American Everyman and new number one contender stepped into the ring with the man from U.S.A. The crowd threw in several USA chants in this below average match. Datsun was in control for most of the match, which didn't surprise anyone, really. Datsun hit USA with a Patriot Press and got the three count.]

Winner: Freddie Datsun

Match Rating: D

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/BrucetheGiant.jpg

[As Datsun celebrated inside the ring, the big video screen lit up showing an angry looking Bruce The Giant lifting weights and working out. Bruce finishes a rep and turns to look at the camera.]

Bruce The Giant

"USPW has made the biggest mistake in the history of the company by not granting me my rematch. And the wrestlers here in USPW are going to suffer from top to bottom. James Justice, you are going to be the man held responsible for what I do until I receive my rematch. Until that time, USPW is going to have a new name for pain and that name will be Bruce The Giant."

[bruce raises his hand and roars before the camera cuts backstage.]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/PlayboyJakeSawyer.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/BryanHolmes.jpg

[Playboy Jake Sawyer is shown once again backstage. However, this time he is joined by the man who attacked Steve Flash last week: Bryan Holmes.]

Playboy Jake Sawyer

"I am sure that each and every one of you unintelligent rednecks are wondering just why I am standing here at the side of Bryan Holmes. I will tell you: he is my newest client bought and paid for. You see, there was a time back in a company called D.A.V.E. where both Bryan Holmes and Steve Flash wrestled. On several occassions, Bryan called out Steve and wanted a match to see who the best technical wrestler in the business is. Steve refused the match. He showed his cowardice. And now several years later, Bryan had the opportunity to have his contract in Japan bought out, which I did. Bryan accepted because he knew that he would get the chance to wrestle Steve Flash right here in America. You see, everyone has a price for the Playboy. Steve, you're going to pay that price...in blood."

[Playboy tossed his head back laughing while Holmes just looked intense as he stared at the camera. Cut to the ring.]

Match #4

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/SteveFlash.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/TheMaskedAvatar.jpg

Steve Flash vs. The Masked Assassin

[One of the better matchups here tonight with Steve Flash taking on The Masked Assassin. Flash kept looking over his shoulder some for Bryan Holmes and several of those times resulted in near falls for The Masked Assassin. Flash made his comeback though and focused on his technical wrestling skills against his opponent, doing a little more pure wrestling and a little more flying than we're used to here at USPW. Flash finished off The Masked Assassin with a Flash Bang to get the pinfall.]

Winner: Steve Flash

Match Rating: C

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/FreddieDatsun.jpg

[The camera cuts backstage once again and this time it's Freddie Datsun who is standing by.]

Freddie Datsun

"Half a count away. Just half a count away from being a two time USPW World Champion. That's very hard to live with for anyone, especially someone with a competitive edge like me. That is one of the reasons why I went to Sam Strong and I asked for this second chance. I wanted one more shot at the USPW World title. Justice, you speak about justice being served? You are right. At Declaration Of Independence, Justice is going to be served on a silver platter to the American Everyman. You're gonna learn the same thing that Mick Muscles learned: The American Everyman CAN beat you for the title."

[Freddie looked to the camera for a moment intently before it's to the ring for our main event!]

Match #5

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/Liberty.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/GiantRedwood.jpg w/ http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/PlayboyJakeSawyer.jpg

USPW World Title Match

James Justice defends vs. Giant Redwood

[it's main event time here and what a match we have for you tonight! Giant Redwood came out with Playboy Jake Sawyer, stepping over the top rope and then holding the ropes open for Sawyer to step inside as well. Redwood leaned against a corner and waited as 'Liberty' began to play and the USPW World Champion stepped out from the back. Justice walked right down to the ring and slid inside underneath the bottom rope. He stared down Redwood as he gave Jez McArthuer the title belt and it's about time for the match to start.]

[Redwood, the former 3-time USPW World Champion, started with the advantage by shoving Justice to the mat! Justice got back up and ran right into a clothesline from one of the beefy arms of Giant Redwood! Redwood spent the next several minutes with the advantage, focusing on the back and the ribs of Justice. Redwood brought Justice in and hooked him -- Power Bomb! The crowd boos as Redwood makes the cover]

[1...

SHOULDER UP!]

[Redwood is angry at Justice getting out of that pinfall. He pulls Justice to his feet and brings him down with a hard slap to the chest! Redwood pulls Justice back up -- lifts him into a military press! Redwood walks over to the ropes -- Justice is tossed over the top rope and onto the arena floor with a large thud! The crowd boos this move by Redwood! Redwood distracts the official, allowing the Playboy to get in a few kicks on Justice and help Justice back inside the ring so there is no countout. Redwood grabs Justice and rakes his eyes across the top rope! Justice staggers off, trying to regain his eyesight. Giant Redwood charges and splashes Justice in the corner. Redwood looks down at him and then to the top rope. He isn't. Is he? Giant Redwood steps out onto the apron of the ring and begins to climb to the top turnbuckle! The crowd are on their feet and flash bulbs are going off as Redwood reaches the top turnbuckle! He looks down at Justice and leaps]

[HO-

****!]

[Justice moved out of the way of an elbow drop! Redwood came crashing down onto the mat and it looks like the ring moved with the impact! Justice uses the ropes to get to his feet, looking down to the prone Giant Redwood. Justice bounces off the ropes -- SSSSSSSSSSSSSSTTTTTTTTTTAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLLSSSSSSSSSS -- DUDE KNEE DROP! The crowd cheers the Dude Knee Drop! Justice comes set as he looks down at Redwood. Redwood stirs and the Playboy is yelling at him to watch out! Redwood uses the ropes to help get to his feet. Then he turns -- LIBERATION SLAM! James Justice hit his finisher on Giant Redwood! Justice makes the cover, hooking the leg]

Winner: James Justice

Match Rating: B-

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/FreddieDatsun.jpg

[The crowd cheers as James Justice gets the victory, retaining his USPW World title! Referee Jez McArthuer hands Justice the belt and then moves out of the way as a chair comes crashing down on the back of the Champ! Freddie Datsun just appeared inside the ring and he brings the chair crashing down three more times to the back of James Justice before tossing the bent chair to the ground. Datsun pulls up Justice -- PATRIOT PRESS ON THE CHAIR! The crowd boos heavily as Freddie Datsun picks up the USPW World title belt and raises it up in the air. He brings it down and lays it across the waist of James Justice as the show comes to a close.]

Several interesting occurances last week, including the debut of Jay Chord, son of Rip Chord and Bruce The Giant making a major threat on the entire roster of USPW!

This week, we will see the in-ring wrestling debut of Bryan Holmes here in USPW. He will be facing a stiff challenge in the form of our resident Super Hero Super Lex!

Two Top Contender matches this week as well as we head toward Declaration Of Independence. The first one involves two ladies who have been feuding since the six way ladies match as 'The Miracle Blonde' Suzanne Brazzle takes on 'The Superstar' Stephanie Wade.

Our second top contender match involves the tag team titles as we see the tag debut of the American Made Men: Whistler and American Machine, here in USPW. They will be taking on two men from the Sneer Corporation: Jumbo Jackson and Eric The Bull!

In our main event, the USPW World Champion James Justice will try to make it 10 title defenses this year as he faces the challenge of The Masked Assassin!

Plus more action!

Dammit I missed another prediction, what's the secret of your speed angel? As you seem to produce shows at an alarming rate while keeping a very nice layout and a good story. Any tips you might want to share or have gotten from others please pm me or post here if you have any.

I'm not really sure I have a secret perse as far as putting the shows out and all. What I used to do and what I used for a lot of the shows was that I would write out the segments first and then fill in the pictures last. For the last few shows, I have written out the outline with the pictures and all and then filled in the story part.

I must admit to having jumped ahead a month, meaning that I have all of May's stuff in TEW all done already. I would have jumped ahead to June as well but with the prediction contest coming to an end this month, I need to wait so I can award the prize out to whoever the winner shall be.

I will also admit that my matches aren't the best writeups and never have been but I try to get the gist of the story out in the matches and try to make the main event a fun read at least in particular.

I also used to sit down and write everything in one shot. I'd make sure I had the time to just get everything written out instead of coming back to it, which I am sure has made some typos and such come out, i.e. the old 'choke' becoming 'joke' in one of my past writeups.

If I think of anything more, I'll let you know.

I loved the Jay Chord interview!

Yeah even though I got my picks in, I was amazed when I signed in today to see another show up. Angel you are a machine with this! And the thing is your shows are always great quality wise.

Super Lex vs. Bryan Holmes

Lex gets an awsome new render/character but he still remains a jobber.

Top Contender Match: Suzanne Brazzle vs. Stephanie Wade

I am glad to see you putting more of a focus on the women's division.

Top Contender Match: American Made Men vs. Jumbo Jackson and Eric The Bull

I just can not see Jumbo Jackson and Eric getting the win here.

Teddy Powell debuts here in USPW vs. Freddie Datsun

I think Teddy will lose his debut here because Freddie has to look strong.

USPW World Title Match: James Justice defends vs. The Masked Assassin

The Dude wins once again.

Is it bad that I've nearly got this show already written up as well? I've already started working on the main event and then it's just the angle following the main event and I'll have it all written up and saved. But I try to give at least 24 hours for people to predict once a prediction list is put up.

OOC: A little bit more insight into what I do backstage for the game.

I have several wordpad writeups that I use, including:

chemistry (any chemistry notes I get go in here.)

gimmicks (all gimmicks + gimmick grades and when they can be changed, Stable, etc.)

popularity (Pop for all my roster updated after every card, listed in grade order)

roster (where each worker fits on the roster, i.e. main event, upper midcard, etc.)

skills (I have a wordpad here that lists things like Entertainment, Menace, etc for angles AND Psychology, Selling, Performance, etc for matches. and I only list those who are B- and above in grades.)

stamina (I used the tips thread to find out what the grades meant in relation to how many minutes a wrestler can go and I put them in grade/minute order so I know how to carve up the minutes in matches, i.e. Bruce The Giant can only go 6 minutes before he starts getting tired generally so I only put him in matches around that time frame.)

stuff (not sure why I call it that but it's the match results, including the card name, location, attendance, tv/ppv rating, road agent notes, etc.)

title runs (this is for going into the talk to the workers section and seeing what title they think they should be vying for. It's broken up into the titles.)

turns (Face/Heel grades so that I know who would be decent in being turned.)

writeup (of course this is where I keep my writeups stored when I have them ready or even partially ready.)

I said this in Olympia's diary and it applies to yours as well, I actually like your match writeups. They are not that long but they are not that short either and you give us the readers a feel for your matches without a wall of text. When I see long match writeups I tend to skip them and only skim them for the good parts.

I really do appreciate hearing that. I kinda prefer the shorter writeups as well. The blow for blow can get a little tedious writing over and over again. lol.

USPW AMERICAN WRESTLING!

Wednesday Week 3 May 2008

Location: North Carolina Biker Museum

Attendance: 2,000

Overall Rating: C

TV Rating: .49

Match #1

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/Oscar_FIN2.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/BryanHolmes.jpg w/ http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/PlayboyJakeSawyer.jpg

Super Lex vs. Bryan Holmes

[The crowd definitely seemed into Super Lex as he ran around the ring portraying the Super Hero. Bryan Holmes was all business as he came down to the ring with the Playboy in his corner. This lead-off match was less than average and Super Lex seemed really off his game throughout the battle. Holmes managed to hit the Super Hero with a Cyclone Shock Kick and got the pinfall for the win.]

Winner: Bryan Holmes

Match Rating: D

[Following the match, the Playboy came into the ring applauding Holmes. Sawyer looked down at Super Lex for a moment and pulled out a one hundred dollar bill, stuffing it into the mouth of Super Lex! The crowd booed as Sawyer raised the arm of Holmes and then they headed to the back.]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/SamStrong.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/ErikStrong.jpg

[The camera cuts backstage to Sam Strong's office where Sam is sitting behind a desk and Erik is standing before the desk.]

Erik Strong

"I want a rematch, Dad. I need a rematch with Jay Chord and I need it at Declaration Of Independence."

Sam Strong

"Rip is NOT going to be happy with the way his son's attitude is. I am glad I have a better son. as far as Declaration Of Independence goes, maybe you can knock some sense into him. I grant you that rematch."

Erik Strong

"Thanks, Dad. I won't disappoint you."

Sam Strong

"I know, son. I know."

[sam nods and the camera cuts back to the ring.]

Match #2

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/SuzanneBrazzle.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/StephanieWade.jpg

Top Contender Match

Suzanne Brazzle vs. Stephanie Wade

[These two women have been feuding for around a month here in USPW and now they have a shot at a match against Cherry Bomb for the USPW Women's title. The match isn't all that great in a one on one capacity but the two women did go back and forth. Stephanie Wade set up Brazzle for her Super Kick when Bruce The Giant stepped over the top rope and shoved down referee Baby Jamie, causing the draw!]

Winner: Draw

Match Rating: D

[With the referee outside the ring, Bruce grabbed Stephanie Wade and tossed her into a corner hard before turning his attention to Suzanne Brazzle. The Miracle Blonde tried to run but she got caught and suffered from a Giant Headbutt! Bruce turned back to Wade and grabbed her around the throat. He grabbed Brazzle around the throat with his free hand and raised both women -- DOUBLE GIANT CHOKE SLAM! The crowd booed as Bruce roared inside the ring, yelling that this is the fault of James Justice!]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/MickyStarr.jpg

[The cameras cut backstage to show USPW legend 'Mighty' Micky Starr. Starr smiles and pauses for a fan, signing an autograph for the fan. The fan thanks him and walks away and then Starr falls forward and the camera pans to show his attacker...]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/JayChord.jpg

[JAY CHORD!]

[Jay puts the boots to Starr and then pulls him up -- CRADLE PILEDRIVER! Micky Starr might be dead! Jay looks down to Starr for a moment and spits on him before walking away as security arrives on the scene.]

Match #3

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/AmericanMachine.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/Whistler.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/JumboJackson.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/BullWrecker.jpg w/ http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/ShaneSneer.jpg

Top Contender Match

American Made Men vs. Jumbo Jackson and Eric The Bull

[Another match that wasn't as good as advertised. Jumbo and Eric had the bad chemistry bug as a team here. The entire match brought the crowd's mood down as they took off to the concession stand and the bathroom. American Machine pinned Eric The Bull following an Old Glory.]

Winners: American Made Men

Match Rating: D-

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/GreaseHogg.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/LeadBelly.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/QueenEmily.jpg

[several members of the crowd cheered when The Dirty White Boys came down and attacked The American Made Men with lead pipes! After all, we ARE in a Biker Museum. Whistler was brought down with the Dirty Bomb and Queen Emily put the boots to American Machine before The Dirty White Boys played to the crowd and then headed to the back once again.]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/Liberty.jpg

[The big video screen lit up showing the USPW World Champion James Justice! Justice got a rather good crowd reaction just from appearing on the big screen.]

James Justice

"DUDES! Last week, American EveryDude decided to attack me once again. He blasted me with a chair and then hit me with his Patriot Press on the chair. But I am still standing this week. I am still ready to go for my match with The Masked Assassin this week, Dudes! Datsun, you can attack me again and again but in the end we both know what is gonna happen, American EveryDude: Justice will be served. As far as Bruce The Giant goes, you lost the match, Giant Dude. You lost the chance at this title and you will not intimidate me, Giant Dude. Whatever you do is your fault and whatever fines you get or suspensions you get because of it is your fault too, Dude."

[James sighs because of what happened earlier to Suzanne and Stephanie and turns and walks off.]

Match #4

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/TeddyPowell.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/FreddieDatsun.jpg

Teddy Powell debuts here in USPW vs. Freddie Datsun

[Constant Motion Teddy Powell was a wrestler here in USPW around 2001 and is making his USPW return here tonight against the American Everyman Freddie Datsun. Powell is also a former USPW World Tag Team Champion with Sammy Bach. But the American Everyman is the number one contender. These two showed awful chemistry within the ring with each other and it truly hurt the overall feel of the match. Datsun picked up a clean win over Powell with the Patriot Press.]

Winner: Freddie Datsun

Match Rating: D

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/DemonAnger.jpg

[The camera cuts backstage, showing the USPW World Television Champion: Anger. Anger is approaching the Coca Cola Machine, kneeling before it.]

Anger

"Almighty Master of the Coca Cola, I have done what you asked. I have stepped inside the ring and beaten down Nicky Champion. What is next for me? A match? With him? I can do that, oh Mighty Coca Cola. I will beat Nicky Champion inside the ring in a match. He will know what it is like to be within your powerful presence when I defeat him and bring him back as a sacrifice to you."

[Anger reaches up and brushes the Coca Cola Machine and it's main event time.]

Match #5

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/Liberty.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/TheMaskedAvatar.jpg

USPW World Title Match

James Justice defends vs. The Masked Assassin

[it's time for the main event right here on USPW American Wrestling. The Masked Assassin has not held a great record here in USPW but he gets a shot to defeat James Justice and become the new USPW World Champion. The Masked Assassin is waiting within the ring as 'Liberty' begins to play and out comes the USPW World Champion James Justice. Justice comes out and slips in the ring, getting immediately attacked by The Masked Assassin.

The crowd boos The Masked Assassin as he goes right to work on the back and then the rib area of James Justice. A hard body slam has Justice holding his back. An elbow drop and The Masked Assassin gets only a one count. The Masked Assassin stomps on Justice and then pulls him up and whips him into the ropes. Justice ducks a clothesline and comes back with his own! Justice quickly bounces off the ropes and takes down The Masked Assassin with another big clothesline! He pulls Assassin up and ducks a punch -- ATOMIC DROP! Justice grabs The Masked Assassin and tosses him outside the ring, getting some cheers from the fans as he stands tall.

The Masked Assassin paces outside the ring for a few moments and then grabs Justice's ankles, pulling him out there with him! The crowd boos as The Masked Assassin tosses Justice into the steel barricade! Assassin throws some punches and then whips Justice into the steel post outside the ring! The Masked Assassin breaks the count and then moves over to grab Justice. He tosses Justice back inside the ring and then joins him, hooking on an armbar and wrenching it in tightly. He holds it for nearly a minute before Justice gets to his feet and then The Masked Assassin draws Justice into a corner. The Masked Assassin throws some punches and forearms against the chest of Justice and continues his assault until around the 10 minute mark. Around that time, Justice is set up in a corner for a Superplex attempt but he fights back! Justice pushes The Masked Assassin off the turnbuckles and then hits a flying double axehandle!

Justice maintains a strong control over The Masked Assassin for a full minute. He brings down Assassin with a Spinebuster and then bounces off the ropes -- SSSSSSSSSSTTTTTTTTAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLSSSSSSSS -- DUDE KNEE DROP! The crowd cheers as Justice crouches and becomes set. The Masked Assassin is slow to get to his feet. But he does and when he turns -- LIBERATION SLAM! Justice hit his finisher and makes the cover:

Winner: James Justice

Match Rating: B-

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/FreddieDatsun.jpg

[Justice raises to his feet and Freddie Datsun hits the ring! Justice turns and takes a punch from Datsun but throws one right back to him! Datsun, Justice, Datsun, Justice! Back and forth go the punches! Justice finally ducks one and hooks Freddie Datsun -- LIBERA -- Datsun gets out and slips out of the ring quickly. Datsun backs up the ramp as Justice is handed his belt. Justice raises the belt in the air, staring down Datsun as the show comes to an end.]

Bruce The Giant vs. Super Lex

Just like in my last picks key, I will say this poor Lex getting fed to the Giant.

The Masked Patriot vs. Jeff Daniel Morgan

JD Morgan finally gets a win! I think....

American Made Men vs. The Hillbillys

AMM have more talent, but it is good to see the Hillbillys back again.

Captain USA vs. Java

While these guys both suck Capt. USA has a better upside.

Larry Wood vs. Nicky Champion

I am going with Larry Wood via D.Q. due to Anger's involvement.

Non Title: James Justice vs. Jay Chord

Even though Non Title is usually code for the challenger picking up the victory I just do not think Jay is popular enough to pick up a victory.

[The show opens outside the arena where eager fans have descended upon the USPW World Champion James Justice, who's just arrived at the arena! James is more than happy to sign some autographs for the fans as they talk about his exploits, including his match with Bruce The Giant, defeating Jack Griffith and Giant Redwood.]

James Justice

"Alright, dudes, I need to head inside and get ready for my match tonight."

Fan #1

"Yeah, you face Jay Chord, right?"

James Justice

"Yeah, the Owner Dude wants me to teach Jay Dude a lesson. Tonight, I will be all warmed up for my matchup tomorrow with Freddie Datsun. DUDES!"

[James gets a smile upon his face and then turns and heads inside the arena.]

Match #1

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/BrucetheGiant.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/Oscar_FIN2.jpg

Bruce The Giant vs. Super Lex

[Absolutely squash from the opening bell. Super Lex tried to get an advantage and tried to body slam Bruce but his super powers just weren't strong enough to lift The Giant. Bruce slammed his fists down on the back of Super Lex and took control, never letting up until he hit the Giant Choke Slam and a foot on the chest secured the victory.]

Winner: Bruce The Giant

Match Rating: D-

[bruce pushed down harder on Super Lex's chest, making him squirm and try to fight out of it but he couldn't get free. Bruce reached down and grabbed Super Lex by the throat, walking over to the ropes and pointing toward the outside. The crowd rose in anticipation as Bruce lifted Super Lex and then...dropped him back down???]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/DannyRushmore.jpg

[Danny Rushmore hit the ring behind Bruce with a sledgehammer! Danny catches Bruce in the knees with several shots and he breaks the handle over the back of The Giant but Bruce is still on his feet! Danny grabs Super Lex and exits the ring, quickly helping him to the back while Bruce releases an angry roar!]

Match #2

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/BulldozerBrandonSmith_alt2.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/JDMorgan.jpg

The Masked Patriot vs. Jeff Daniel Morgan

[Another match that wasn't all that great. The match did give Jeff Daniel Morgan a showcase for his talents. The crowd was solidly behind The Masked Patriot but it wasn't to be when Morgan locked in the Cross Atlantic Stretch and got the submission from the masked man.]

Winner: Jeff Daniel Morgan

Match Rating: D-

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/JayChord.jpg

[The cameras cut backstage to show Jay Chord standing within the back area. He looks up toward the camera and sneers.]

Jay Chord

"So you want a few words, huh? First of all, tonight SHOULD have been a title match. I'm the best wrestler you've got here in USPW. I have the pedigree in my old man Rip Chord and I have a few moves that even the drunk old man hasn't seen. He's over there in that big, gaping MAW and he's running a wrestling company right into the ground just like one would expect from him. I've already surpassed him and he's digging his own grave. Tonight, I begin working on digging another one in the form of James Justice. James, I remember watching you when I was a kid, man. Tonight, I show you that I've become a man.

[Jay turns and walks off as we head back to the ring.]

Match #3

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/AmericanMachine.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/Whistler.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/AlTheHillbilly.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/PeteTheHillbilly.jpg

American Made Men vs. The Hillbillys

[Wow. Was this even a match? Nobody knows because everyone went to the concession stand or the bathroom line. Whistler in particular stood out in this match. Whistler pinned Al following the Rebel Yell.]

Winners: American Made Men

Match Rating: E

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/GreaseHogg.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/LeadBelly.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/QueenEmily.jpg

[The crowd was a mixture of boos and cheers as The Dirty White Boys came out. The Champs cleaned house with the American Made Men for the second week in a row, hitting American Machine with the Dirty Bomb and standing victorious in the center of the ring.]

Match #4

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/CaptainUSA.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/Java.jpg w/ http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/ShaneSneer.jpg

Captain USA vs. Java

[Those who were standing in line could just continue within the lines for this stinker of a match. The best part of it was Shane Sneer at ringside cheering on Java. Captain USA hit Java with a Hail To The Chief and got the pinfall win.]

Winner: Captain USA

Match Rating: E

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/T-Rex.jpg

[Following the sounding of the bell, another man entered the ring from behind Captain USA! The Jurassic Power locked on his Jurassic Crush on Captain USA, swinging him back and forth as USA tried to break the hold. The crowd broke out into a 'USA' chant trying to get the Captain back into it but it was to no avail. T-Rex tossed Captain down and stood over him, beating his chest once again.]

Match #5

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/LarryWood.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/NickyChampion.jpg w/ http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/AliciaStrong.jpg

Larry Wood vs. Nicky Champion

[Well, at least this match was better than the last two. It got better just by the presence of Alicia Strong. That's one Strong Arm Tactic I might not mind taking. In any event, Larry Wood played his mountain man heel character very well, bringing down Nicky with some nonsensical sequences of moves. Anger came down to ringside and was a distraction to Nicky as he drank some Coca Cola from a glass bottle. Nicky wasn't distracted for too long though and hit Wood with the Hawkeye Hammer, getting the 3 count.]

Winner: Nicky Champion

Match Rating: D

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/DemonAnger.jpg

[As Nicky got the three count, Anger entered the ring and poured the contents of the Coca Cola on top of him. The crowd booed as Nicky got up, pushing his hair back and he was taken down with a glass bottle to the head! It broke the glass bottle and busted open Nicky Champion! Anger took the razor sharp edges to the glass and gouged out the forehead of Nicky Champion as Alicia entered the ring, yanking away Anger! Anger came back at her but he took a low blow kick by Alicia and Alicia brought Nicky out of the ring, yelling for some EMT help!]

Match #6

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/Liberty.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/JayChord.jpg

Non Title

James Justice vs. Jay Chord

[And it is main event time here in USPW American Wrestling as James Justice goes one on one with Jay Chord in a non title affair. Jay Chord took some boos when he came out to the ring and he yelled at the crowd a few times before 'Liberty' played and the crowd went wild for our USPW World Champion James Justice! Justice entered the ring, handing off the USPW World title belt and it's time for our main event!]

[The two combatants met in the center of the ring and jawwed for about a minute before Jay Chord slapped the taste out of James Justice's mouth! James came back with a shove and blocked a punch thrown by Chord, hitting him early with the Liberty Big Left Hand! The crowd cheered as Jay Chord exited the ring quickly and began to pace around to regain his bearings. He entered before the count of 10 and he went right for James Justice, gaining control and beginning to work over the Champion in the rib area where Justice is known to be soft. He hit a ribbreaker, a gutbuster and a backbreaker, trying to get the submission with the backbreaker but that just wouldn't do. Jay pulled Justice to his feet and after a few more minutes of battering the Champion, he hooked him in position for a Cradle Piledriver! The crowd was stunned and began clapping and chanting for 'Jus-tice, Jus-tice!' Justice managed to not get pulled up and instead elevated Jay Chord to the mat, bringing them both down.]

[James had obviously pulled a little Muhammad Ali in letting Jay Chord wear himself out throughout the match and Justice pulled to his feet. The next few minutes were spent with Justice in control over Jay Chord, flooring him with a spinebuster slam and Justice signalled for the Dude Knee Drop. He bounced off the ropes -- SSSSSSTTTTTTTTAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLLLSSSSSSSS -- CLOTHESLINE BY FREDDIE DATSUN!]

Winner: James Justice

Match Rating: C

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/FreddieDatsun.jpg

[The referee had obviously signalled for the bell due to outside interference by The American Everyman but this didn't stop Datsun! He pulled Justice up and dropped him with the Patriot Press! The crowd booed this move by Datsun and Datsun just smiled as he raised his arms up in victory! The show came to a close with Datsun standing tall. But who will be standing tall tomorrow at Declaration Of Independence?]

We are headed to USPW's own Declaration Of Independence! What a show we have outlined for you taking place at the Centerpiece Bridge!

Due to the attack in the middle of the top contenders match, the Women's title match will be a threeway as Cherry Bomb defends her title against both Suzanne Brazzle AND Stephanie Wade! First pinfall walks away with the title!

Erik Strong is getting his rematch here that he requested from his father as he takes on The Gravedigger Jay Chord! How will Chord do against a younger man?

A World Television title match will take place as Anger defends that title against Nicky Champion. After the last American Wrestling, Nicky Champion had to go and get several stitches in his head. Will those bust open during the match?

In what should be a purist's dream match with a 15 minute time limit, we will be seeing Bryan Holmes with The Playboy in his corner taking on Steve Flash! Both men are veterans and both are considered among the elite in wrestling.

Our main event will feature a USPW World title match as James Justice defends the belt against the man who has been attacking him every week since being announced the number one contender: 'The American Everyman' Freddie Datsun!

Plus more action!
