USPW: Long Hard Road From Cult

Recommended Posts

Okay sorry to litter you thread which such a long post but:

You want to hear something weird? Even though I picked Des to win the TV title, I was shocked that he ended up winning! I forgot that I picked him to win! Man I am such a dumbass sometimes.

Anyway great show! Of course I love the Anger segment, it seems like you are making him into more of a Cactus Jack figure which is a good thing.

I was a little surprised to see the Hell's Bouncer vs. Freddie Datsun get such a good rating but I am glad it did.

And you are not to predictable, I in no way shape or form saw the Bruce the Giant turn. I thought that was a great way to end the card.

My picks:

Freddie Datsun vs. Jack Griffith

I guess poor Freddie has become your jobber to the stars.:D

The Dirty White Boys vs. Bob Casey and Happy Elwood

They are a debuting tag team who are involved in a major program with the tag champions. While Bob Casey and Happy Elwood are well...Bob Casey and Happy Elwood.

Nicky Champion vs. Jeff Daniel Morgan

I wish JD could pick up some more wins but Nicky has to get his revenge.

Nathan Coleman vs. Bruce The Giant

Being one half of the tag team champions doesn't mean you have a chance in hell against Bruce.

USPW World Title Match: James Justice defends vs. Peter Valentine

Peter is another jobber to the stars.

Sign: Why Bruce? Why?

For JD Morgan: JD Morgan You Can Start Trying To Win A Match Anytime Now!

MONTHLY RECAP

MARCH 2008

The month of March saw one valet and one wrestler re-sign with SWF: Jessie and Squeeky McClean. They did, however, sign a PPV deal with PPV Japan in week 2. Their major PPV, SWF Awesome Impact 2008, was held in the Kettley Arena (Mid South) and saw 21,747 people on their feet to watch as Jack Bruce retained the SWF World Heavyweight title against Runaway Train in a 'B' match. In other major matches, Vengeance defeated Brandon James in a 'B' match and Eric Tyler defeated Groucho Bling in a 'B' match. The PPV earned an overall grade of B- and a PPV Buy Rate of 8.12. There were no title changes within the month of March. SWF Shooting Star Champion Marc DuBois and SWF North American Champion Rich Money each had four title defenses within the month. DuBois defeated Stevie Grayson twice, Kid Toma and Matt Sparrow. Money defeated Lobster Warrior twice and Kid Toma twice.

TCW had no signings or releases but they did re-sign John Anderson and Aaron Andrews during the month of March. TCW Just Another Day? brought in 15,000 people to Mayor Street Arena (New England) for a 'B' main event of Tommy Cornell successfully defending the TCW World Heavyweight title against Ricky Dale Johnson. Other major matches upon the card included Sam Keith defeating Joey Minnesota in a 'B+' match, Tyson Baine defeated Rick Law in a 'B-' match, Sammy Bach successfully defending the TCW All Action title against Chance Fortune in a 'B-' match, Wolf Hawkins successfully defended the TCW International title against Randall Hopkirk in a 'B-' match, Koshiro Ino defeated Guide in a 'B' match and the opening match was The Machines retaining the TCW World Tag Team titles against The Tag Team Specialists in a 'B-' match. The card overall got a 'B' and a PPV Buy Rate of 1.57. They had no titles change hands within the month of March with two people tying for the most title defenses within the month of March: Wolf Hawkins with the TCW International title and three defenses with wins over Charlie Thatcher, Eddie Peak and Randall Hopkirk. Tommy Cornell with the TCW World Heavyweight title with three defenses. He defended against three different opponents: Eddie Peak, Joey Minnesota and Ricky Dale Johnson.

Freddie Datsun vs. Jack Griffith

Dat's on a roll while Griffith lost a big one.

The Dirty White Boys vs. Bob Casey and Happy Elwood

I know I usually do this every week but. . . Poor Elwood/Casey.

Nicky Champion vs. Jeff Daniel Morgan

JD to cheat. Either way should be a great match even if the grade will be low.

Nathan Coleman vs. Bruce The Giant

Nathan will put up a good fight but Bruce is coming off a great turn so. . .

USPW World Title Match: James Justice defends vs. Peter Valentine

2nd easiest pick of the night as PV ain't doing so well and JJ has to take down that Giant Bruce later on down the road.

Fan sign: Bruce! Sign My Sign Again!!

Thanks for the predictions everyone! Keep them coming! There are going to be some major losses coming soon though because TCW has hit International following their card this week so we are going to be seeing the departure of some good names, at least one of which I had major hopes and plans for. But I will be doing a post following the posting of my American Wrestling card speaking on that.

I am hoping to have the American Wrestling card up within a few days or so.

Overall Rating: C-

TV Rating: .48

Pre Show: Madman Boone defeated Danny Rushmore in 4:12 by pinfall with a Boone And Bust...D

Pre Show: Des Davids defeated Giant Redwood in 3:40 by pinfall with a Quarterback Sack...D

Pre Show: Cherry Bomb defeated Amber Allen in 4:11 by pinfall with a Cherry Bomb...D-

Pre Show: A music video airs hyping the promotion, including shots of Sam Strong, James Justice, and Bruce The Giant...B+

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/BrucetheGiant.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/DannyJillefski_alt1.jpg

[The show begins inside the Huntsville Fairgrounds with the rumbling music of none other than Bruce The Giant playing within the background. He makes his way down to the ring with Danny Jillefski hanging in close at his side. He pauses by a fan holding up a sign that reads: 'Bruce! Sign My Sign Again!!' Bruce cracks a smile and takes the sign as though he is going to autograph it and then the smile turns into a sneer as he rips the sign into little shreds and tosses them over the fan like confetti. The crowd really boos and Bruce steps away before the fan can grab him and he enters the ring with Danny Jillefski.]

Danny Jillefski

"First of all, all you Huntsville, Alabama rednecks need to shut your mouths because our Supreme Top Contender Bruce The Giant has something to say."

Bruce The Giant

"It is nice to be respected like that, Danny. Every fan here in this arena has been asking the same question since March Mayhem: Why Bruce Why?"

[The cameras pan around and focus in on a sign reading just that: 'Why Bruce? Why?']

Bruce The Giant

"I'll tell you why. Being a nice guy and the guy that everyone here loves did nothing for my career. Bruce The Good Giant never got a title rematch with James Justice. They couldn't put two fan favorites inside the ring like that. No, that would not be good for the fans. Well, I am sick of doing what is good for the fans. I am sick of each and every one of you trying to dictate what happens in my career. Now it is going to be my time to decide what happens in my career. It is going to be time for the true Giant to come out of the box and show off this SUPREME talent. It is time for a little of my Northern Aggression to show off here in USPW. James Justice, you only have one choice that you have to make. Give me a title shot at Freedom Fight. If you don't, I will not be held responsible for what happens next."

[bruce releases a roar that elicits more boos from the crowd and his music begins and he walks off to the back with his new manager Danny Jillefski]

Match #1

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/FreddieDatsun.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/JackGriffith.jpg

Freddie Datsun vs. Jack Griffith

[southern Justice looks to get some momentum back on track here against the American Everyman. Datsun and Griffith did not click in the ring and the crowd could really sense the poorness of this bout. Datsun picked up the pinfall over Griffith with the Patriot Press.]

Winner: Freddie Datsun

Match Rating: D

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/Liberty.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/ShaneSneer.jpg

[The cameras backstage show a car pull into the parking garage and out from the car comes USPW World Champion James Justice! The crowd cheers for Justice as he walks toward the arena. He has a major title defense tonight and he is approached by Shane Sneer.]

Shane Sneer

"James, did you see what happened tonight? Bruce challenged you to a match at Freedom Fight!"

James Justice

"Did he? Well, we'll have to see about that."

[James heads inside the arena, looking as angry as he has EVER looked!]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/T-Rex.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/JDMorgan.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/JackGriffith.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/HellsBouncer.jpg

[A music video began to play, showing and hyping the strength of USPW's brand new group called The Hard Corps! Members specifically noted are T-Rex, Jeff Daniel Morgan, Jack Griffith and Hell's Bouncer!]

Match #2

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/GreaseHogg.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/LeadBelly.jpg w/ http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/QueenEmily.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/BobCasey.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/HappyElwood.jpg

The Dirty White Boys vs. Bob Casey and Happy Elwood

[Of course The Dirty White Boys were accompanied to the ring by Queen Emily. Happy Elwood put up a little bit of a fight here in this one but he was quickly overwhelmed by the debuting team. Grease Hogg and Lead Belly hit Elwood with a Super Bomb variation that they call The Dirty Bomb and Grease Hogg got the pinfall victory.]

Winners: The Dirty White Boys

Match Rating: E

[Following the match, Queen Emily picked up the microphone.]

Queen Emily

"This is just the beginning of the demise of the tag team ranks here in USPW. Next week, my Dirty White Boys will be going two on two with the ragged team here in USPW known as The Hillbillys. Hillbillys, next week you can prepare to be royally screwed!"

[Queen drops the microphone and escorts The DWB's to the back.]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/MitchNaess.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/SaraSilver.jpg

Mitch Naess

"Sara, what a tumultuous time it is to be a part of USPW right now! We have Bruce The Giant attacking and then challenging our USPW World Champion, The Hard Corps is a group on the rise and then the presence of the Dirty White Boys!"

Sara Silver

"Better be careful what you say about any of our wrestlers, Mitch. Words can always come back to haunt you."

Mitch Naess

"Be that as it may, what Bruce did at March Mayhem was awful. The way that he turned against his former friend James Justice? A man who did promise to give him a title shot."

Sara Silver

"Well, maybe he is TAKING that title shot, Mitch. After all, promises can easily be broken."

[As Mitch and Sara spoke, it was time for the next match.]

Match #3

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/NickyChampion.jpg w/ http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/AliciaStrong.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/JDMorgan.jpg

Nicky Champion vs. Jeff Daniel Morgan

[Alicia Strong was definitely at ringside to see this chance at one on one revenge for Nicky Champion against Jeff Daniel Morgan. This was a brawl from the outset that saw Nicky have to help raise JD's game as Jeff Daniel seemed off his game. Morgan slid outside the ring during the bout and chased Alicia Strong around the ring while Nicky was down. Morgan paused at one part of the guardrail, seeing a sign about him: 'JD Morgan You Can Start Trying To Win A Match Anytime Now!' Morgan shoved the fan down and security stepped in quickly to break things up. When Morgan re-entered the ring, Nicky was back on his feet and Champion started taking control. Nicky was prepared to hit the Hawkeye Hammer when a Black Hat fell from the ceiling and landed inside the ring, distracting Nicky. Black Hat Bailey slid inside the ring behind him and hit a double sledge to the back, causing the DQ.]

Winner: Nicky Champion

Match Rating: D+

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/BlackHatBailey.jpg

[bailey put the boots to a fallen Nicky Champion while Morgan left the ring and chased Alicia Strong all the way to the back! Bailey prepared to hook Nicky in the Bailey Breaker when someone rappelled down to the ring behind him! The man was draped in a USPW flag and removed the flag to reveal...]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/MadmanBoone.jpg

[MADMAN BOONE!]

[Madman Boone grabbed Black Hat Bailey and went for the Boone And Bust but Bailey hightailed it out of the ring and Boone checked on Nicky.]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/SamStrong.jpg

[A video is shown hyping the attack that Corporal Doom laid on Sam Strong at USPW March Mayhem. It was a horrific attack that ended in a Corporal Punishment and Camel Clutch. But in good news it is announced that Sam Strong will be back next week to address the attack!]

Match #4

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/NathanColeman.jpg w/ http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/Seduction.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/BrucetheGiant.jpg w/ http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/DannyJillefski_alt1.jpg

Nathan Coleman vs. Bruce The Giant

[Danny Jillefski accompanied Bruce The Giant down to the ring where Bruce threatened another fan at ringside before entering the ring. Then the crowd was shocked as it wasn't Nathan Coleman's music that hit but 'Liberty!']

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/Liberty.jpg

[The crowd cheered as USPW World Champion James Justice walked out from the back but he stayed at the top of the entrance ramp and already had a microphone in hand.]

James Justice

"DUDE! Last week at March Mayhem, you, big dude, made a mistake. Now we can all forgive and forget a mistake, right? You attacked me from behind because you listened to that Danny Dude that's in the ring with you. Now, I can let bygones be bygones and let the past stay there and we can become friends again. What do you say, Big Dude?"

Bruce The Giant

"I say that you better enjoy your time with that title, James. Because it's all going to come crashing down around you and you're gonna learn that you were only keeping that title warm for me."

James Justice

"I hoped you wouldn't say that, Big Dude. I really did. Well, I am out here, then, to formally reject your request for a title rematch, Big Dude. We will not be meeting one on one at USPW Freedom Fight. But I do have a special present for you, Big Dude. Turn around and you'll see what I mean."

[James walked to the back and Bruce turned...right into a missle dropkick from Nathan Coleman! Seduction appeared at ringside and Nathan Coleman had the early advantage on Bruce The Giant! The match was below average as Nathan did not even knock Bruce down. Once Bruce got his bearings, he dominated the match, hitting Coleman with a Giant Headbutt and then he wrapped his hand around the throat of Coleman, raising him up and dropping him with a Giant Choke Slam! One Giant Elbow Drop later and Bruce pinned one half of the USPW World Tag Team Champions.]

Winner: Bruce The Giant

Match Rating: D

[Following the match, Bruce hit Coleman with two more Giant Choke Slams, leaving the USPW World Tag Team Champion lying broken and beaten on the mat. An angry Bruce The Giant is never any fun for his opponents.]

Match #5

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/Liberty.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/PeterValentine.jpg

USPW World Title Match

James Justice defends vs. Peter Valentine

[Our main event of the evening is a USPW World title match! James Justice did a lot of looking out for Bruce The Giant early on in the match and this gave Peter Valentine the opportunity that he needed to take advantage of. He began his focus on the arm and shoulder of Justice with armbars and stomps on the shoulder and he even slammed Justice's arm against the ringpost three times in a row! Justice was in severe pain in that arm but he pushed through it, kicking out of several pinfall attempts along the way by Valentine. Valentine got frustrated midway through the match and resorted to several cheap tactics, including running Justice's eyes across the top rope and a low blow when the referee wasn't looking!

Justice's comeback came when Valentine decided to try his Heart Breaker finisher! Justice slid out the back of that hold and when Valentine turned he got floored with the Liberty Big Left Hand! It was Justice's right arm and shoulder that he could barely lift. Justice bounced off the ropes -- SSSSSSTTTTTTTTTTTTTAAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLSSSSSSSSSSSS -- DUDE KNEE DROP! The crowd cheered as Justice got momentum on his side and then booed as Bruce The Giant came walking down toward the ring. Justice was focused on Valentine with his back toward Bruce! Justice hooked Valentine but Valentine elbowed out of the Liberation Slam! Justice stumbled backward -- GIANT HEAD BUTT TO THE BACK OF THE HEAD!]

Winner: James Justice

Match Rating: C-

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/BrucetheGiant.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/DannyJillefski_alt1.jpg

[bruce stepped into the ring fully and shoved Peter Valentine to the mat. He gave Justice another Head Butt and then grabbed Peter Valentine and lifted him up by the throat -- GIANT CHOKE SLAM!! Valentine fell to the mat, crumpling in pain as Bruce turned his attention back toward James Justice! Bruce grabbed Justice around the throat and raised him up again -- GIANT CHOKE SLAM! The crowd booed as Bruce stood tall within the ring and the show came to a close with a mighty roar from Bruce The Giant and applause from Danny Jillefski who had come down to ringside.]

Last week, James Justice rejected the title rematch for Bruce The Giant and Bruce took out his frustrations on his opponent for that evening: Nathan Coleman. What will Bruce have to say this week?

As announced by Queen Emily on last week's USPW American Wrestling, The Dirty White Boys will go one on one inside the ring with The Hillbillys! The Hillbillys are a veteran team here in USPW and definitely no pushovers!

We are going to see a USPW World Television Title match as newly crowned Champion Des Davids defends the belt against a member of the Sneer Corporation: Jumbo Jackson. Will Jumbo have anything to say about this Northern Aggression that is taking place?

Our main event should be a great one as we have six man tag team action on tap! Three members of that Northern Aggression: Bruce The Giant, Black Hat Bailey and Jim Force will take on two of the biggest USPW supporters in James Justice and Nicky Champion and a mystery partner who is already a member of USPW! Who will that mystery partner be? Tune in to find out!

Plus more action!

Ernie Turner vs. Jeff Daniel Morgan

The Dirty White Boys vs. The Hillbillys

Anger vs. Madman Boone

American Machine and The Masked Patriot vs. Savage Fury

USPW World Television Title Match: Des Davids defends vs. Jumbo Jackson

Bruce The Giant, Black Hat Bailey and Jim Force vs. James Justice, Nicky Champion and A Mystery Partner

Extra Point For Guessing Mystery Partner:

Hint, he is already in USPW and has been used before.

[backstage within the Huntsville Fairgrounds, I was sitting within my office working on some paperwork when there was a knock on the door.]

The Masked Assassin: "Come in."

[The door swung open and in walked the USPW World Television Champion and a future top star: Des Davids. Des held the belt and gently placed it on top of my desk as he looked toward me.]

The Masked Assassin: "What's this, Des?"

Des Davids: "It has been a pleasure working for you, Assassin and for Mr. Strong but I was recently contacted by Tommy Cornell. I have made the decision to sign a contract with Total Championship Wrestling."

[i rubbed my forehead through the mask for a moment. First, Mick Muscles refuses to re-sign with me because he doesn't like the way that I booked his tag team. Now, Des gets signed up by Tommy Cornell. I was about to speak when a sound drew my attention up. Mitch Naess, lead announcer, was standing by the door and he cleared his throat.]

Mitch Naess: "Assassin, Des. I figured I would let you tell him first, Des. Assassin, I have made the decision to also sign a contract with Tommy Cornell. Mine will only be a pay-per-appearance contract but I will no longer be able to announce on your pay-per-views due to the conflict with TCW."

[And that made the headache that was coming on even worse. Not only was I losing one of my top, bright young stars and my USPW World Television Champion but also my lead announcer. I looked up between the two of them.]

The Masked Assassin: "Alright, Gentlemen, thank you for coming and letting me know about this. We do have a show that we need to put on. Mitch, you have your announcing duties still tonight and we will speak about the future later. Des, you have a title defense tonight against Jumbo Jackson. I am not going to change my plans for that matchup. You know how the match goes. If you two will excuse me for a moment. I have some paperwork still to work on. Des, please take your title."

[Des nodded and picked up the belt. He walked to meet Mitch at the door and the two started discussing their movement to TCW. I can imagine there will be a battle between Mitch and Jason Azaria to see who is the lead announcer there. Des would be starting in the lower midcard over at TCW but he is a definite star in the making. On the plus side, I came across the finalization of the paperwork re-signing Alicia Strong. Sam will be happy though it cost a ton of money to keep her and I am beginning to think that she will be returning to the women's ranks sooner rather than later.

Then there's the finalization on the release of two other wrestlers that I thought long and hard about before releasing. Neither of these two would be moving up the card any time soon and their spots, their television time would be better served elsewhere so goodbye to Bob Casey and Mad Dog Mortimer. We hardly knew ya! Now to work on finding a new announcer...]

That sucks losing Des and Mitch at the same time. I am surprised that you have managed to keep Des as long as you have.

Ernie Turner vs. Jeff Daniel Morgan

This is JD Morgan's chance to end his losing streak!

The Dirty White Boys vs. The Hillbillys

DWB have more of an upside then the Hillbillys.

Anger vs. Madman Boone

Madman Boone is going to win this match but I can not pick against my favorite character in this diary.

American Machine and The Masked Patriot vs. Savage Fury

I love this pairing as both guys are good wrestlers. And where the hell have Savage Fury been?

USPW World Television Title Match: Des Davids defends vs. Jumbo Jackson

I think you might have Des keep the title but I will go with Jumbo getting the win.

Bruce The Giant, Black Hat Bailey and Jim Force vs. James Justice, Nicky

Champion and A Mystery Partner

Extra Point For Guessing Mystery Partner: Chris Caulfield (not sure why SWF would get rid of him though).

Signs: Thanks for the memories Des!

Savage Fury Suck!

Ernie Turner vs. Jeff Daniel Morgan - This is a tough one for me as I've always admired Ernie from the Rubber Duckie Song, but I must admit I do like Dumb and Dumber and for the broken toilet scene, Jeff Daniel's, brother of the legendary Jack Daniels, gets the W

The Dirty White Boys vs. The Hillbillys - Me and Eminem will be kicking it cheering for these dudes

Anger vs. Madman Boone - I always say when you wrestle a man who's simply named as an emotion you're in for a world of hurt... The name could be Anger, it could be Remorse, it could be Anxious, it could be Itchy or Scratchy, these types of names always spell danger. Barry Horowitz reckons he jobbed 4659 times to guys with names like these, so a big pat on the back for Barry.

American Machine and The Masked Patriot vs. Savage Fury - Y'know, even Mr America got a push back in the day... the US gimmick lives on.

USPW World Television Title Match: Des Davids defends vs. Jumbo Jackson - he'll win here, and he'll be held to contract by being given a contract he can't refuse. No? Ok, well, his last match will be the big jobberoo.

Bruce The Giant, Black Hat Bailey and Jim Force vs. James Justice, Nicky Champion and A Mystery Partner - If it's Ernie's long lost pal Bert, I am officially marking out. Bert.

Extra Point For Guessing Mystery Partner:

Hint, he is already in USPW and has been used before. - Hmmm, this cryptic clue changes my thoughts, but I'm going to stay loyal and still say Bert.

Rock on, another great show dude.

I feel the need to preface my card writeup by admitting that this show gets a poor grade overall. Luckily, it doesn't do too much damage to my popularity and importance but two men were used far too much and it hurt their momentum overall. Oh and Creative Control is a female dog. But overall, I did stick to my guns when I went through the card and stuck with what I wanted to do for the most part.

With all of that negativity aside, I think this is going to be one my more fun and interesting cards to write out. I hope it will be fun for the reader as well and as always feedback is the most important thing a diary writer can give.

Thank you for all of you who have predicted so far and for those of you who haven't and are thinking about it, you still have time as I am shooting for the card to be out sometime this weekend.

And one last thing, everyone make sure they vote in the Monthly Awards that just came out. No matter who you vote for (I'm in the Rookie Category) it is always a positive thing (vote for me) for every diary writer to see some votes up there (especially me.). lol. :D

OOC: Still sick but managed to finish writing this up and wanted to get it out there for everyone to view. Not sure when the next card will be up, though. But I hope everyone enjoys reading this one as much as I enjoyed writing it!

USPW AMERICAN WRESTLING!

Wednesday Week 2 April 2008

Location: Huntsville Fairgrounds

Attendance: 3,690

Overall Rating: D+

TV Rating: .43

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/SamStrong.jpg

[The cameras begin in the parking lot area where a very long stretch black limo pulls up. The driver gets out and walks the length of the limo to the back and opens the door. Out steps USPW Owner Sam Strong to a cheer from the crowd in the background. Sam is wearing a nicely tailored suit and nods to the driver as he walks toward the building and disappears inside...]

Match #1

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/ErnieTurner.jpg w/ http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/ShaneSneer.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/JDMorgan.jpg

Ernie Turner vs. Jeff Daniel Morgan

[The crowd was a little shocked when Ernie Turner came down to the ring with brand new manager Shane Sneer! Sneer stepped at ringside for the match and Jeff Daniel, the Hard Corps member, came out. This was a very lackluster match to say the least. The crowd was booing both of them and the bad chemistry bug hit hard. Morgan locked Turner in the Cross Atlantic Stretch to get the submission victory.]

Winner: Jeff Daniel Morgan

Match Rating: E+

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/Liberty.jpg

[The crowd rose on their feet in unison as 'Liberty' began to play! The USPW World Champion James Justice came out to a huge crowd pop and this time he DOES have the USPW World Title back around his waist where it belongs. Justice stepped inside the ring and was handed a microphone.]

James Justice

"DUDES! First of all, I want to say that it's great to be here in Huntsville, Alabama (cheap pop) and it's great to have this USPW World title belt back around my waist where it belongs, dudes! Now, I need to turn my attention to both tonight and to one dude in particular: The Giant Dude! Giant Dude, I know you want a title shot against me for this belt but, Dude, you're going at it all wrong. You could have been nice about it and not attacked me, Giant Dude, but you did...one more than one occassion. So title shot has been denied by me. However, I am one to make sure that Justice has been served so we have a little matchup coming up at Freedom Fight called the Supreme Challenge. It's gonna be a Cage Wars match that is four on four. I'm gonna lead a team in there and Giant Dude you will lead a team in there. If your team wins, then you earn a title shot against me. If your team loses, we continue doing this dance that we've been doing since March Mayhem. Get your men together, Giant Dude, because at Freedom Fight, just like tonight, Justice is going to be served, DUDE!"

['Liberty' kicks up again and Justice slides out of the ring, high fiving the fans as he makes his way to the back.]

Match #2

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/GreaseHogg.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/LeadBelly.jpg w/ http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/QueenEmily.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/AlTheHillbilly.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/PeteTheHillbilly.jpg

The Dirty White Boys vs. The Hillbillys

[if we thought the opening match was bad, we need only take a look at this match to make that one look like a five star match. Needless to say, Grease Hogg pinned Al following the Dirty Bomb.]

Winners: The Dirty White Boys

Match Rating: E

[/QUoTE]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/SamStrong.jpg

[The crowd within the Huntsville Fairground rise on their feet in cheers and applause as we see the return of USPW Owner Sam Strong! Sam gives some handshakes and high fives along the crowd as he walks toward the ring with a smile yet determined look upon his face. He enters the ring and is handed a microphone.]

Sam Strong

"Good evening, brothers! For those of you who did not order the March Mayhem Pay-Per-View, you missed an excellent show, brothers. But you also missed a certain travesty of an attack. Let's take a look at that now..."

[The video board shows a replay of the attack by Corporal Doom on Sam Strong. Doom hit the Corporal Punishment and a Camel Clutch on Strong before giving him a salute of dismissal. The crowd boos at seeing that video.]

Sam Strong

"Didn't I fire that guy, brothers? He looks awfully familiar. In all seriousness, Corporal Doom, it looks like you have something that you need to get out against me, brother. So I am going to give you that opportunity. At Freedom Fight, you will be allowed to step into the ring one on one with myself, the USPW Owner in a non sanctioned match! Think I'm too old to step inside those ropes? Think again. This 6'9", 302 pound athlete is gonna show you a thing or two about wrestling man to man, brother!"

[sam spends the next few minutes flexing before he exits the ring.]

Match #3

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/DemonAnger.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/MadmanBoone.jpg

Anger vs. Madman Boone

[Another poor match that did not really surprise anyone. Anger still has the tattoo of the coca cola symbol and Madman Boone came out draped in a USPW flag. The short match went back and forth until the lights began to flicker and a Coca Cola bottle showed up on the big videotron! Anger looked up there as a voice called out for him to follow the bottle. Bottle lights lined the walkway and Anger left the ring walking to the back and getting counted out as he exited up the rampway.]

Winner: Madman Boone

Match Rating: E+

[Madman Boone looked on at this for a moment, shrugged and celebrated the victory inside the ring.]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/Liberty.jpg

[The cameras cut backstage, showing the USPW World Champion James Justice. Just who will be his mystery partner tonight? A knock at the door to his locker room and the door opens to reveal...]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/HappyElwood.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/KatieCameron.jpg

[HAPPY ELWOOD AND A WOMAN?!?!?!]

Happy Elwood

"Hey James. This is my girlfriend, Katie. Katie, this is..."

Katie Cameron

"I know who this is, Elwood. This is the USPW World Champion James Justice. Just the man I wanted you to talk to tonight. So go ahead. Talk."

James Justice

"What's up, Happy Dude?"

Happy Elwood

"James, I need a favor. Tonight, you have a six man tag team match with Nicky and a mystery partner. I'd like to volunteer myself to be that partner."

James Justice

"I don't know, Happy Dude. Have you ever --"

Katie Cameron

"Forget about what he's done in the past, James. He's got me now and I'm going to take him right to the top and over the top. No offense, of course."

James Justice

"None taken, Dudette. Happy Dude, I'll think about it and get back with you, alright?"

Happy Elwood

"Thanks, James. I really appreciate it."

[Happy and Katie exit, leaving James rubbing his chin.]

Match #4

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/AmericanMachine.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/BulldozerBrandonSmith_alt2.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/Java.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/TribalWarrior.jpg w/ http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/ShaneSneer.jpg

American Machine and The Masked Patriot vs. Savage Fury

[Even though the American Machine and The Masked Patriot came down waving the flags they still couldn't get the crowd interested in this match at all. Could you really blame them? Though the camera did focus in on one sign dedicated to this match: "Savage Fury Suck!" Luckily, it went less than four minutes and American Machine put Tribal Warrior away with an Old Glory.]

Winners: American Machine and The Masked Patriot

Match Rating: E

Match #5

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/DesDavids.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/JumboJackson.jpg w/ http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/ShaneSneer.jpg

USPW World Television Title Match: Des Davids defends vs. Jumbo Jackson

[shane Sneer remained at ringside for this next encounter as his man Jumbo Jackson got a shot at the USPW World Television Title and the most dominant man in USPW right now: Des Davids. Des twitched slightly within the ring when he saw a sign up, reading "Des, Get Some More Coke!!" Jumbo showed his strength throughout the match though to be honest he was really off his game. Late in the match, Jumbo set up Des in the corner, preparing for the Jumbo Avalanche as Shane Sneer smiled at ringside. Jumbo charged -- DES MOVES!! Des rolls up Jumbo Jackson -- 1 -- 2 -- 3! Jumbo cannot spoil the unbeaten streak of Des Davids!]

Winner: Des Davids

Match Rating: D

[Following the win, Des is given the USPW World Title belt and he holds it up as the Coca Cola symbol is shown on the video screen! Anger steps out from the back as the Coca Cola Bottles lead him to the ring and he slides inside, attacking Des Davids from behind! Anger drops Des with a DDT and then looks toward the referee, intimidating the referee for a moment and referee Jez McArthuer -- CALLS FOR THE BELL?!?!?]

Match #6

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/DesDavids.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/DemonAnger.jpg

USPW World Television Title Match: Des Davids defends vs. Anger

[Apparently, we are having another official match for the USPW World Television Title! Anger dominates from start to finish, hitting Des Davids twice with the Demon Slam! Anger makes the cover: 1 -- 2 -- 3!! We have a NEW USPW World Television Champion! Congratulations Anger! As Anger celebrated, the cameras focused in on one sign in particular: "Thanks for the memories Des!"]

Winner: Anger

Match Rating: D

Match #7

Bruce The Giant, Black Hat Bailey and Jim Force vs. James Justice, Nicky Champion and A Mystery Partner

[bruce, Bailey and Jim come out first along with Danny Jillefski. Danny points toward Mitch Naess for a moment and Bruce walks over, saying something unheard but Mitch's frequent apologies to Bruce are definitely heard. Bruce grabs Mitch and lifts him up -- GIANT CHOKE SLAM ON THE FLOOR!! Danny Jillefski smiles and takes Mitch's seat at the announce table, watching as James Justice and Nicky Champion come out. Alicia Strong comes out with Nicky and she points toward the back and the crowd cheers as James Justice has selected...]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/HappyElwood.jpg w/ http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/KatieCameron.jpg

[HAPPY ELWOOD!]

[Happy looks excited and pumped and joins his teammates as Katie joins Alicia. The three men look to one another and high five before charging the ring! A six man brawl breaks out to open the match with senior referee Jez McArthuer trying to restore order. James Justice and Bruce The Giant get into a shoving battle and things are finally broken down to Nicky Champion and Bruce The Giant inside the ring. Nicky becomes the early face-in-peril as Bruce keeps him in the Northern Aggression corner and a triple team on Nicky brings him down. Black Hat Bailey was tagged in and he went right after Nicky with stomps and a hard vertical suplex to the mat. Bailey, Bruce and Jim each took turns against Nicky and they each taunted in either Justice or Elwood to do some double team moves but Nicky would not give up! Later in the match, Bailey shot Nicky in and ducked his head early -- DDT BY CHAMPION! Nicky and Bailey lie on the mat for several moments and then began crawling toward their corners. The crowd was definitely behind Nicky Champion in this one and he reached over, stretching as Jim Force was tagged in and in comes James Justice!

The USPW World Champion took down Force with a clothesline and then knocked Bailey off the apron and stared down Bruce The Giant! The staredown was enough to give Jim a chance to clothesline Justice in the back of the head right into a Giant Headbutt from Bruce The Giant! Justice was knocked to the ground and Jim Force pulled him up, hooking him and lifting him up -- Justice falls back to his feet! Justice throws a few punches and reverses into a swinging neckbreaker! The USPW World Champion quickly moves over and tags in Happy Elwood! Elwood climbs in and throws punches to all three members of the opposite team, drawing them all in! Nicky and James come in to back him up! Another pier six brawl ensues that sends Nicky Champion, Black Hat Bailey, James Justice and Bruce The Giant to the outside! Happy Elwood ducks a big clothesline from Jim Force and rolls him up: 1 -- 2 -- 3!! You've got to be kidding me!]

Winners: James Justice, Nicky Champion and Happy Elwood

Match Rating: D+

[Katie Cameron comes in and celebrates with Elwood as the brawl outside the ring continues! Elwood shoves Cameron out of the way of a clothsline by Jim Force but HE takes the brunt of the clothesline! Force stomps him into the mat while Danny Jillefski shouts near-obscenities! The show comes to a close with the locker room spilling free to break all this up!]

Yet another great show! But you know what was by far and away the best part of the show this:

[Apparently, we are having another official match for the USPW World Television Title! Anger dominates from start to finish, hitting Des Davids twice with the Demon Slam! Anger makes the cover: 1 -- 2 -- 3!! We have a NEW USPW World Television Champion! Congratulations Anger! Winner: Anger

Match Rating: D

A long overdue title for the best character in the Diary! Your new USPW TV Champion, the man, the myth, the legend, Anger!!!! This is going to sound lame, but seriously thank you for giving Anger the title!

Are you basing Sam Strong on Hulk Hogan or Desmond from Lost? Because if it is based on Desmond from Lost then that just might be as awsome as Anger...no nothing beats Anger!:D

Seriously, you put on another great card and I hope you get well soon so that we can see the Anger era of USPW.
