<p>Charlotte vs. Sasha in some form or another has happened an astonishing 153 times. For the record, Trish vs. Lita only happened 75 times. Thanks to Casey Michael on Twitter for that one.</p><p> </p><p>

It's getting to the stage where they are going to wind up with an Asuka situation where the Champion has been elevated so far ahead of her contemporaries that the feuds will be mostly predictable and the next champion won't be worthy in the fans eyes. They are not doing enough to elevate other women whilst Charlotte and Sasha dominate the title scene.</p>

It's going to feel beyond pointless if they do ANOTHER rematch and have Charlotte win the title right back again at the next Raw PPV, but that feels inevitable unless they're going to have Sasha turn heel for a WM feud with Bayley.</p>

<p>Will Asuka ever hit the main show? If that was the purpose, they should've "called her up" ages ago.</p><p> </p><p>

Man, I don't like them interjecting Reigns in the nice promos they seem to be running right now. He drags down the quality of the segments to a mediocre level. I don't want to turn into a second Warhawk, but it's really making me want to skip through every segment he's a part of.</p>

Ric is a 16 time world champion.."</p><p> So the path they want to do is make Charlotte a 16 time Women's champion.</p><p> Women careers dont seem to last as long as men in wrestling, but still I just wouldnt think it would be as impressive as Ric's record.. Since Ric didnt always lose it one week just to get it back a week later.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> But wouldnt that make Sasha a 16 time World Champion as well? If they carried on back and forthing...</p>

But if they do, the only other real crediable guy they have is Rhoode, who should be up soon.</p><p> </p><p> I think this is the point of Ty and Rhoode's fued. They want Tye to take that belt and NXT figure head, but they need to pump him and other guys up.</p><p> </p><p> I expect they want Nakamura in the Rumble this year. The pop would be amazing. Even if he doesn't win it, if he comes in and survives the Brock Goldberg show and makes the final 4 or 5, he's insta over, and you can find him a fued for Mania. </p><p> </p><p> Joe I gotta believe they want to have a run here, put Rhoode over for the Tye fued, and show up sometime right after Mania at the latest on one of the main brands.</p>

I always thought measuring title reigns in number is retarded anyways. Back in the days where they were lenghty by definition a comparison like that made sense, but since the "entertainment" days where title switches were part of the story, it makes more sense to pass it around more. In TEW I also try to make them count, but sometimes I just want to pass it from one to the other.</p><p> </p><p> I hope the Rumble is actually exciting this year. I already forgot what the last editions did (apart from Trips' win) though I vividly remember 2001/2002 for instance, so that can't be good. An NXT guy would cause a huge pop for sure.</p>

TLC Review:

Wyatt Family vs Slater & Rhyno - Solid squash. I'm happy the Wyatts finally won gold. With Orton in the mix they are as interesting as ever.

Nikki vs Carmella - OK match but it felt like they held back too much.

Ziggler vs Miz - Great match after a slow start and Miz won clean. Shame Smackdown is lacking babyface midcarders. Time to call up Samoa Joe or bring over Zayn.

Kalisto vs Corbin - Surprisingly good match.

Alexa vs Becky - Solid match. I thought they did well because Tables matches are tough to book.

Ambrose vs Styles - MOTN. So many awesome spots. Ellsworth turning on Ambrose was well executed.

Verdict: Good PPV. The crowd was poor outside of the main event. The random crowd shots were annoying.

I wouldn't necessarily call that clean even though it was legal.</p>

Linda McMahon picked to be Small Business administrator

(CNN) - President-elect Donald Trump picked Linda McMahon, former CEO of World Wrestling Entertainment, to serve as the administrator of the Small Business Administration, his transition announced Wednesday.

"Linda has a tremendous background and is widely recognized as one of the country's top female executives advising businesses around the globe," Trump said in a statement. "She helped grow WWE from a modest 13-person operation to a publicly traded global enterprise with more than 800 employees in offices worldwide."

He continued, "Linda is going to be a phenomenal leader and champion for small businesses and unleash America's entrepreneurial spirit all across the country."

McMahon is the co-founder of the professional wrestling franchise WWE along with her husband, Vince McMahon, and twice a former Republican Senate candidate from Connecticut. She stepped down from her duties at WWE in 2009 and ran two failed bids for the Senate in 2010 and 2012.

She's donated $6 million in August and September to Rebuilding America Now, a super PAC that supported Trump's presidential bid.

She tweeted on Wednesday, "Honored to be appointed by President-Elect @realDonaldTrump to serve as head of @SBAgov advocating for our small businesses & entrepreneurs!"

McMahon will have to be approved by the Senate before she becomes the administrator of the SBA. However, Sen. Dick Blumenthal, who ran against McMahon in 2010, told CNN's Manu Raju that he'd likely vote for her. He called her a reasonable voice in Trump's economic team.

McMahon wasn't always a fan. During the Republican primary, she told Yahoo's Katie Couric that she was offended by Trump's comments about women, calling them "deplorable."

"He's not helping, certainly, to put women in the best light," McMahon said. "Maybe he regrets them, maybe he doesn't. I realize he punches hard when he punches back, but that's just over the top."

But after the primaries, McMahon told the Associated Press that even though Trump wasn't her first choice for the nomination, she became a strong supporter of the business mogul.

"Once you're his friend, he is loyal to the end," she said. "He's an incredibly loyal, loyal friend."

It's... not scripted, is it? :D

<p>Although I really like the character aspects of some of these people like Asuka, and especially the variety and difference these characters bring as far as style is concerned, but I'm not really impressed with the actual "in ring" abilities. Spinning kicks and elbows get old with me really fast, and it becomes really unbelievable to me that so many people would fall for it over and over like they do. </p><p> </p><p>

Hitting hard only makes their opponent's look impressive to me. People like Samoa Joe impress me because of their athletic abilities and actual wrestling skill to go along with it, but many of these younger, newer people just look a bit unsafe to me. IF they are safe, then their opponents are WAY better than what people are giving them credit for, because they are selling the crap out of it.</p>

yes lets call up Asuka right now because we have so many viable options to lead NXT's women's division like......Ember Moon? I get where you're coming from but NXT has already been gutted once this year of female talent and taking the only star left before establishing a new one or preferably two or three will just set the division back farther. I imagine Asuka will be brought up after Mania as the women's tournament should be over by then and most of those women will probably help refill NXT's division.

I'm with you on that....They don't have any true star power besides Asuka in the division. I think it would be interesting to see the two Aussie girls try to pull a Dana and Emma on her....that can stretch for at least 2 maybe 3 takeovers if you have the blowoff a handicap.

<p>Yes but Asuka is just too much levels above the rest so her losing wouldn't be credible, with the exception of Ember moon, who should at least have a match with her. Did they have a match at SHIMMER? Would be a good predictor.</p><p> </p><p>

As I was sick for the weekend, I took the time to watch the Network a little. Really liked the Swerved eps, and saw the compilation of "Lita vs Trish", which was a nice trip to memory lane. Also watched SD!, but that was a disappointing show imo (save the main event, which was decent enough).</p>

I dunno guys...if this is true, then we might be seeing the end of Paige's career in WWE, and more than likely in America if Lucha Underground, TNA or ROH don't take her.</p>

<p>That was really smart on Dolph Ziggler's part at the end of that. He yelled for the Miz "come at me" at the end because he remembered the stipulation that Shane and Daniel made that if anyone interfered on anyone's behalf, it'd be an automatic elimination, thus making Ambrose get eliminated by Miz's interference. </p><p>

But it seems like they have a habit of making a stipulation and never really going through with it or doing anything with it. They tend to forget one of the rules in storytelling is if you show the gun in Act 1, fire it in act 3. You'd think that it would be SOMEONE's elimination in that match could have definitely seen that as a way to get rid of Luke Harper. And with Ellsworth being "sick" he could have come out to sneeze on someone on behalf of Ambrose furthering their feud. But it was nice to have an Ellsworthless Smackdown for once in almost 2 months.</p>
