<p>The Edge vs Miz promo made me a Edge fan again, made me love the Miz more, and I am beginning to dig the heel Cole. I love the Miz faction he has going. Alex Riley has real potential.</p><p> </p><p>

I really keep hoping they bring Jim Ross back to announce and mike Michael Cole the heel general manager. I think he has everything that Eric Bischof has as far as the ability to make you really hate him. He has comedic value with being a little sissy, and I think he is really good in the role of being the bad authority figure. Cole in the role, pushing his paper champion The Miz with a stable around him including Alex Riley and maybe some sort of tag team of big guys as muscle/bodyguards would be brilliant.</p>

Why say these things when everyone is on a positive trip?</p>

I was referring to people severely overhyping RAW last week. I tuned in for most of it and it was far from can't miss. It was better than it has been and I think people are so starved for good wrestling they'll take anything they can and shoot it to the moon with hype.

I wouldn't call it "must watch", but the Cena/Nexus stuff is interesting. It's nice to see them doing something different with Cena for a change.

I'm one of those people who plan to watch wrestling all the time but always forget or find something better to do. Well this Monday I made myself watch it and I don't have a clue what you guys are talking about. I though the whole first 45 minutes, all of which featured John Cena were crap. The battle royal was kind of cool, the segment where the guy came over and asked him if he needed to talk? What was that about? Teasing a split in the group? I'm sure there was something else they could of done. I mean if everyone else likes it then it did its job but this is just how I felt about it.

Buy-rates. Ratings. Which networks are bigger. Quality stories sometimes get lost in the shuffle.</p><p> </p><p> Haven't seen the Cena stuff. From what I've read it sounds quite good. I wouldn't have put such a major figure in the role (it's a breakout role to me) but Cena needs a twist on his superman character, so rock on. Hopefully through his interactions with the Nexus crew, the rookies can gain some depth to their characters. Otunga's already got something interesting going on. Hopefully Cena can develop relationships with Gabriel and Slater and get them over too.</p>

Here's the thing. Cena joining Nexus could be one of the better... or one of the worst... angles ever. We are in a "wait and see" mode. It's neither good nor bad right now.

Anyways, I actually heard the Raw theme, what ever that Nickelback song is. Did anyone in WWE actually listen to the whole song when they picked it? It's about getting drunk and trashing the town...I think "whiskey" is mentioned a dozen times in under a minute.
