milamber
<p><span style="text-decoration:underline;"><strong>NXT Takeover: Unstoppable Review</strong></span></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Breeze vs Balor</strong> - Epic entrances for such a small arena. Good match.</p><p> <strong>Dark Emma & Dana vs Charlotte & Bayley</strong> - Really fun tag match. Charlotte was booked strong and Dana was protected. Emma's new outfit looks cool. I'd like to see a best of 3 series between Emma & Bayley ending with a #1 Contenders match.</p><p> <strong>Rhyno vs Corbin</strong> - OK match. Corbin works better as a heel (which was forced because the fans turned on him) but outside of his finisher he's just a generic brawler with a limited moveset.</p><p> <strong>Enzo & Cass vs Dubstep Cowboys (NXT Tag Titles)</strong> - By far the best match between these teams. Enzo looked better than ever. They were all set to win then... holy crap... it's Alexa Bliss interfering to put herself over. I still wish Enzo & Cass had won but it was a well-executed swerve.</p><p> <strong>Becky vs Sasha (NXT Womens Championship)</strong> - Fantastic match. Best women's match I've ever seen and a contender for best match in NXT history. The ring psychology was top notch. Both women are insanely talented. I dug Becky's video game superhero look.</p><p> <strong>Zayn vs Owens (NXT Championship)</strong> - Owens wearing the Cena shirt was a veteran heel move. Great match. This was a straight-up fight. Zayn got in way more offense than usual before Owens went into beast mode, which was important at this point in their storyline. The only let-down was how short it was (understandable with Sami's injury) but getting Regal and Samoa Joe involved made up for it. Now Owens has at least 2 contenders to deal with while Zayn and Itami are out.</p><p> </p><p> <span style="text-decoration:underline;"><strong>Verdict:</strong></span> Great show. Only one disappointing match, IMO. I love how they keep adding stuff to the Full Sail Arena setup. So many little touches that make it look like an expensive production. Also the costume and entrance changes help make each Special unique. How often do they make that much effort for PPVs other than Wrestlemania?</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> <span>http://cdn0.vox-cdn.com/uploads/chorus_image/image/46368502/WomenTakeover_zpsvbz4oi5g.0.0.png</span><span>http://pbs.twimg.com/media/CFflV3HWEAIgNFE.jpg</span><span>http://38.media.tumblr.com/d3518c2dc1a527ebd432936bc9c958dd/tumblr_nooomhTsy91sbzhteo1_400.gif</span><span>http://cdn0.vox-cdn.com/uploads/chorus_asset/file/3715874/NXTTO_UNSTOP_Photo_046-4006969788.0.jpg</span><img alt="tumblr_noog4a2cDe1rofocqo1_400.gif" data-src="https://38.media.tumblr.com/36a8bd39b259a7c11b42a63d0e3771f1/tumblr_noog4a2cDe1rofocqo1_400.gif" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>

crownsy
Sasha vs Becky last night is how you book Women. Is it selfish of me to hope they never get demoted to the Main Roster? IF you are i'm there too. If the dirtsheets are right, and the NXT women are Trips/Steph's vision of how women should be presented, but the main roster is Vince's way and Vince is still not sold on giving them the type of time and card placement nxt has....Then keep the ladies on NXT until Vince changes his mind please. I don't want to see Sasha Banks/Charlotte/Lynch/BAylee in freaking 2 minute matches the bella of the month wins with a rollup. Rather they stay in NXT and keep giving us those kinds of matches. Jaysin
I started watching Unstoppable last night, but fell asleep right when Zayn and Owens made their entrances. Becky and Sasha was the best match of what I saw, but the rest of the card was solid. Becky's steampunk attire rules.
Blackman
and the NXT women are Trips/Steph's vision of how women should be presented Dana looks like a Vince blueprint to me, but the rest of them are indeed 'different'. As for Unstoppable: wow... I really enjoyed it. The Women's Title match had me off my chair for a couple of moments, which is a rare occurence, and I marked out during the Balor entrance. The tattoo job was insanely well done. Becky's new steampunk look seems like a good match with the hacker guy, almost tailor-made. You guys get that vibe too, or am I alone? Almost everything on the card was embalmed with gold, which made the Corbin match look like trash, while it was definitely ok. Everything seemed to work (and it should: booking PPV's should be all about "what works"), which is always nice for a company. And I haven't even seen the main event, because I needed to go to work. The presence of the Game of Thrones actor in the company of Steph made me curious. Will we soon see "The Mountain that Wrestles"? I wonder. I for one would mark out for that notion alone. As for Rhino's role: I don't think he can go back to the main roster. He takes a spot of new talent on the show, but is still very entertaining for the crowd and retains adequate skill levels. Tough call. Good job, WWE. Good job. I don't know whether it would 'work' to just transfer the NXT product to the main programming. They tried it with ECW and it sort of failed. It seeds the hotspot small arena with its fired up people. You want to filter out the people that just "come 2 C Cena" and don't care about 80% of the card. UkWrestleFan
Unrelated to anything but I've been thinking about how Bray Wyatt has gotten a bit stale, and while doing so I got to thinking about how some of the NXT guys who've made it to the main roster aren't so hot; the likes of Bo Dallas, Adam Rose & The Ascension. While thinking about this, I had a thought that it would be pretty cool if Bray went on some sort of recruitment drive, bring The Wyatt Family back with these guys a part of it. Bo Dallas - I got excited when he got involved in the Ryback / Wyatt feud a few weeks or so back. I thought we were finally going to see Bo accept who he was and stand side-by-side with his brother (Bo Wyatt? Dallas Wyatt?) Adam Rose - Have him slowly realize he is not the party animal WWE want you to believe he is and transition back into Leo Kruger. The Ascension - They'd need some sort of makeover; the 80's power-and-paint look wouldn't really work, and in terms of storyline, I'm not sure how it would play out but I think it would be cool if they became Bray's henchmen. You could even have Rowan & Harper be pissed that Bray didn't turn to them and you've got a ready made feud.

Basically if you're not in a feud you're a jobber. It sucks for guys like Barrett and Stardust. Barrett is the saddest example. </p><p> </p><p> IC champ = Jobber to R-Truth</p><p> KotR = Jobber to R-Truth</p><p> Feuding = Jobber to Opponent (in this example R-Truth)</p><p> Unimportant matches that mean and advance nothing = Pins R-Truth</p><p> </p><p> They really need to determine their designated jobbers and use them because otherwise EVERYONE apart from Cena ends up as losers who we have to be reminded are important (by beating the Barrett).</p>

Lex Star
<p>I am more excited for Elimination Chamber than I was for WrestleMania. Though, WrestleMania turned out great.</p><p> </p><p> Part of it is that, I love Elimination Chamber matches, they're always great fun for me. I'm especially interested to see the tag team EC match, because it's bound to be a giant confusing mess, but that's what will make it great. I hope The New Day somehow sneaks in all three of them, maybe when a team gets eliminated and they have to open the main door, Xavier Woods just jumps in. The match is no DQ so they couldn't really stop him.</p><p> </p><p> The match I am looking forward to the most is Owens vs Cena though, and that's because I'm curious on how they handle it. I don't know if they will have Owens win clean, and I don't think he should lose clean in his debut match. I have a feeling Cena wins, by disqualification. The match isn't for a championship, so Owens doesn't necessarily have to care about winning, and just showing Cena that he can end him at any time would suffice, and also allow the feud to continue.</p><p> </p><p> I have a feeling that something big and unexpected may happen at Elimination Chamber, because it was kind of put in at the last minute, and during a free month for the Network, and they might try to do something big to entice people to continue on the subscription after the free period ends.</p><p> </p><p> I am looking forward to all the matches at the event, the IC title looks like a big deal, as the EC matches are always plugged as "Dangerous, Career changing, never the same again, etc." type of match, and if someone is willing to put themselves through that for the IC title, it makes it look like a big deal. Same with the tag titles. It also makes sense the World title wouldn't be in a Chamber match, as the authority is protecting Rollins.</p><p> </p><p> The Tag division is as strong as it's been in years. Some teams (The Ascension and Los Matadore) could be built up stronger, but if they have a good showing in the Chamber, they could win people over. </p><p> </p><p> Bo Dallas vs Neville should be a fun match, because they have a history from when they both were in NXT. I like that on commentary they mentioned Neville was the one to defeat Dallas for the NXT Championship.</p><p> </p><p> The Divas triple threat could be good, but unfortunately I fully expect it to go less than ten minutes and be just another throwaway divas match. I really hope they can start taking the main roster women as serious as the NXT women soon. The potential for the match is good as the three women in this match are more than capable, they just need to be given the opportunity.</p><p> </p><p> Seth Rollins vs Ambrose should be good, the crowd is really into Ambrose again, and it seems like he's finally being booked to be as strong as the other two former Shield members. I'm not expecting it to happen, but I wouldn't be surprised if Reigns turned on Ambrose here. The more likely thing to happen would be standard J&J and Kane shenanigans. I can't help but feel Reigns will have some sort of involvement here, as he doesn't have a match on the card. </p><p> </p><p> Speaking of Reigns not having a match, where has Orton been?</p>
