Warhawk8492
Saying my he is garbage is insane he turns out great matches month after month of PPV and you know what the only constant in those matches? Roman. He is the most underrated worker among IWC fans in a very long time maybe even ever. Plus it's not X-pax heat, it's the exact same as Cena, Roman is over with regular fans no matter how much people like to think otherwise. Roman was also working with great and veteran workers in every single one of these matches. He was carried each time.
Ben_Ditch05
Roman was also working with great and veteran workers in every single one of these matches. He was carried each time. I don't think he's been carried in any single of those matches. In fact, he definitely carried Big Show to a great match at Extreme Rules 2015. It can be argued he carried Brock to a great match at Mania 31, and as for the 2 AJ Styles' matches, nobody carried those, they both carried their own weight, and even more in those matches. Show can have great matches if the booking treats him like a giant as in his matches with ADR and Daniel Bryan. Big Show's inconsistent booking is the reason his can have craptastic matches and great ones.</p><p> </p><p> But as for Brock and AJ that was them carrying and Roman being good enough to do his part. Still Roman isn't a bad wrestler but a wrestler with bad booking and weak mic skills for a figurehead to use a TEW16 term.</p>
Blackman
<p>AJ carried him, all right, but Roman surprised me. I can't believe I'm saying this, but I actually enjoyed that match.</p><p> </p><p> His charisma and ring demeanor is still severely lacking. He needs to be locked forever in that "badass" role or WWE will take a toll. And for that, he needs to ditch the Usos. Turn on them. Destroy them.... <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> ... But that won't happen as Seth made pretty sure he's coming back as a heel (logically). Nothing's stopping them from pitting heels against each other, though it visibly weirds the crowd out.</p><p> </p><p> And I'm disappointed by Charlotte. WWE has a problem of trying to force everyone to do things their way when it is obvious they aren't suited or ready for that kind of thing. It's the same thing that hurt Roman when they tried to make him a pure babyface.</p>
Mootinie
Being carried to a great match happens to lesser wrestlers once or twice in their careers. That isn't happening to Reigns, he's consistently having great matches with everybody he works with. Not once in the Styles match did he look lost, which is common in those kind of matches when you have to be in a certain place at a certain time. But Reigns was there, right on queue, whether he was delivering a move or taking one. I think he's an incredible performer and his match record certainly holds up with some of the best wrestlers in the world.

He is mid card at best yet he is the world champion. Do people have some kind of disease where they can't see how much Reigns sucks? He is an NFL reject who tried out pro wrestling, really a shame his NFL career did not take off. Roman Reigns is a terrible wrestler. He should not be the top face, he SUCKS as a face. iruleall15
Reigns isn't good in the ring. He's a spot guy. Using his same 4 moves but in really cool spots to pop a crowd. That's all he does. Roman uses the same moves, but he does tell different stories even with his limited moveset. A spot guy is someone who just chains a bunch of moves together with no regard for selling or story. He may be boring as hell, but Roman was properly trained.
liontamer
<p>I actually enjoy Roman overall. I rewatched the last PPV match vs Styles (there were some Roman chants). Much like the first match, my issue is the ending and I don't know if that is a decision the wrestlers or the bookers made. I just find it lacks believability that styles beats him repeatedly with a chair, hits a clash on the chair and can't get a 3 count. Roman hits 1 spear and it's over. </p><p> </p><p> All he'd really need to do in my book is add 1 or 2 more high impact moves. Maybe follow with a power bomb and since they like the superman gimmick, a top rope move like a frog splash. Now you've hit a series of damaging moves and as a viewer i believe it could be over. It also adds suspense, because his opponent could counter the follow-up moves, so when the sequence starts it's not an automatic finish. Heck, have him really anger the fans and start doing the Rocks moves.</p><p> </p><p> As for AJ, his turn was a little odd to me this week given the prior events, but I'm ok with it. He needs some wins, even if it's beating up mid carders while feuding with a main eventer. And I doubt he'll use it much given his back issues, but given that everyone has been kicking out of the clash and even the elbow, I'm rooting his submission and the spiral tap (yet to be seen in WWE I believe) to be his WWE finishers with the others being set up moves that sometimes finish.</p><p> </p><p> With the pops they were getting, I do question the turning of both AJ and of Seth, it'd be nice to have a top face that's fully accepted as a face by the fans.</p>
Blackman
It's not new, though. They always give their top guys artificial toughness with them kicking out of everything. They did it with Cena and now they do it with Roman. I can't recall who got the treatment earlier. Stone Cold? But that might've been a part of his gimmick. crownsy
<p>I'm torn on the Styles Heel Turn.</p><p> </p><p> On the one hand, their Heel Roster is a joke, so they need it. Previous to this turn, your talking what....Owens and Rollins as M/E or UMC heels and....Miz as a Midcard gate keeper?</p><p> </p><p> That was really about it for Heels worth anything, though Rusev could get back there after they rebuild him. </p><p> </p><p> Meanwhile with Cena back your looking at Cena, Reigns, Cesaro, Zayn, Ambrose, the New Day (I suppose, they are weird half tweeners now but WWE seems to want them face) and AJ pre turn.</p><p> </p><p> On the other hand, I think we all know the long term outcome of this Fued, I.E AJ on his back taking a pin from Super Cena....which I would be fine with except he JUST did that for Reigns. I don't want to see them cool off AJ so hard he never gets back to the place he was pre- Extreme Rules finish.</p><p> </p><p> We shall see.</p>
Coop
The big E came to my town Saturday. Peoria by the way. Had a good enough time. They always try to put on a good show. And I wasn't disappointed in their efforts. Boo'd the heck out of Roman. AJ made him look good. I boo Roman because its not his move set. I just don't like his character. Two things always get me, three things. What happens at these shows doesn't seem to matter anymore. Cole says on Raw it was Enzo's first time in the ring since his concussion. Well he wrestled Saturday. You know every once an while they would do a title change at these shows. It may have been reversed or hot swapped the next show. But there was always a small chance they would do it. What the heck happened to heel wins? I get send the crowd home happy. But man I just plain ole miss a good heel win. Team 3d entertained. Bubba missed a leg drop and tagged out. yelled out he though he broke his ass. Golden Truth, Golddust vs Breeze. Fandango interfered. RTruth makes the save. Get the Golden Truth stick afterwords. Gallows and Anderson, The Hype Brothers. Natalie VS Charolette was good Liked the AJ VS Roman match. even though I wish AJ would of won. Owens vs Sami was good as well. A lot of kids where I was sitting actually was cheering for KO.
milamber
Raw was pretty terrible outside of the heel turn. I'm not too sure about it either. Short term it gives AJ direction and makes Anderson & Gallows stronger. Long term... that depends on their booking. The jury is still out on Rollins returning as a cowardly heel. I hope they add a new wrinkle to his character soon.

I love that about Owen's character. he's not so much a straight Coward gimmick so much as a "whats in it for me?" heel. </p><p> </p><p> (Best line recently "But he's the WORST one!" in response to always getting put on Miz's team leading up to Extreme Rules. K-Nection
<p>Just caught this week's RAW. Was pretty shocked that Vince had the balls to sacrifice AJ's merch money in favor of a heel turn. I'm glad I have the Hulu version because it seemed to cut out alot of the stuff that people were complaining about this week.</p><p> </p><p> I'm curious of where this is going but it seems to me that they will just end up feeding the club to Cena and they get shot down to the mid card that now has a gaping hole from Cody, Sandow and others.</p>
