Though her program is not all bad given I don't have to watch her perform in the ring, I'm sure it will go nowhere and will be done by the next 3 weeks. It does show us the best side of EvaMarie for obvious reasons (don't call me sexist, I'm probably the last person that would be like that. It's just all she's good for in this job). NXT did it better when they had her try the "authority" gimmick backed by Nia Jax. That would work on RAW for sure. But for SD! I don't know... They can still shape her program in that direction. Here's hoping.

 

I agree! That entrance is really annoying. And when they brought her out twice this week I was glad it got cut off it was like "really...again?"

I like the guy obviously and he's doing an ok job commentating for a guy with so little experience, but he never had a pleasant voice. Plus we're already seeing enough of him on SD!.</p>

Best segment on Raw was Heath Slater. Good on Heath but that doesn't say much for Raw. And they gave away DemonFinn (stop with the Demon King that sounds like Demon Kane) and a great Rusev vs Reigns match on a go-home show for a big PPV

But then I had to sit through the rest of it. First time Raw has felt like a nearly complete miss since the brand split. </p><p> </p><p>

Big Misses for me - </p><p> </p><p>

1. Giving away the Demon. </p><p> </p><p>

First, I will echo mil. Stop calling him Demon King, since you made the stupid decision that "Kane" is two different people depending on how he is referred to. I tuned in from commercial while Rolling was running into Neville, and for legit 30 seconds I was convinced he was looking for Kane. </p><p> </p><p>

Second, oh my god why are you giving this away for free? Even if you wanted to show Seth being all spooked out, you could have done that DURING summerslam.</p><p> </p><p>

Now you gave the whole entrance and physical beat down away. Why should Seth be worried that he's facing "The demon" on Sunday now. He's seen the man in paint.</p><p> </p><p>

2. BEst of Seven between Cesaro (yeeee!) and Shemus (boooooo)</p><p> </p><p>

ok, my only caveot here is if, over the course of this 7 match death march, they find a way for shamus to be interesting fine. </p><p> </p><p>

Otherwise, the whole premise of this feud is stupid. Ceasaro isn't winning "physically enough?" what does that even mean? is there a star rating that's gonna pop up at some point that the match will be scored on rather than who won?</p><p> </p><p>

I get that the story they are trying to get to is that Cesaro ran his mouth, and that Foley is making him pay for it. But that storyline only works if you know, the Heel is intimidating, or can't be stopped, or some other reason to care besides, you know, the guy being Shemus. </p><p> </p><p>

These matchs are ok, but Shemus ain't exactly anything other than a power brawl guy. I've seen this match 3 times already, in the last 4 weeks. I don't need to see it seven more flipping times.</p><p> </p><p>

3. How many times are the baby faces gonna fall for the ol' "your not with me anymore!" from Charlotte with a lacky?</p><p> </p><p>

Look, i get that this is a staple gimmick of cowardly heels. But when you run the same angle multiple times, including twice in two weeks, it starts to make the babyfaces look like morons when they can't figure it out. </p><p> </p><p>

4. Rusev v. Reigns</p><p> </p><p>

First of all, can anyone explain why Roman is a good guy, or even just a BA neutral, for showing up and ruining a women's wedding? I fail to see why I should not be on team Rusev here.</p><p> </p><p>

That aside, I did not need to see 23 minutes of this less than a week before a rematch. First of all, Reigns is getting better, but he sucks in TV matches over 10 minutes. There just isn't enough for him to do with his moveset. So I end up playing the drinking game "how many Superman punches will be attempted here?" </p><p> </p><p>

This whole match was just dull and plodding. I loved the mic work from Rusev in the opening promo, but other than that, ugh.</p>

Every time I hear Balor referred to as the "Demon King" I throw up in my mouth a little. Aside from that though, pretty decent episode.

While I get the complaints about giving away the demon entrance doing on TV was the right thing to do to get people to see it. While ratings are down for Raw it still gets more viewers than a Pay Per View/Special. Seeing the entrance could convince some viewers to subscribe to the network which is what's most important for WWE trying to please Wall Street.

<p>Smackdown won this week. So many enjoyable highlights: Ziggler superkicking Ambrose, Heath Slater, Bray turning his back on Rowan, Naomi's trippy entrance, Eva stuck in traffic, Becky and American Alpha winning, Styles on commentary, Cena putting Styles through the announce table. The ratings were steady as well.</p><p> </p><p>

In other news, Del Rio and Paige have both been suspended for 30 days for wellness violation, hot on the heels of a rumor that WWE are upset with Del Rio for being a bad influence on Paige.</p>

I really enjoyed Smackdown this week. Heath Slater is seriously in one of the best angles in the company right now. Mega Kudos to him for taking so many beatings.

 

Also, as someone who has always found Randy Orton to be a black hole of charisma and lacking in any form of entertainment value, since his return I've found him quite enjoyable. Here's hoping he goes over Brock.

 

Back II Brooklyn and Summerslam have potential to be the best two shows of the year.

This was supposed to be the woman that WWE called 'ahead of their time' and the first NXT women's champion ever.</p><p> </p><p>

So tell me how you go from a two time champion in your own division to being another jobber to the stars (at best) to getting suspended? Because of ALBERTO DEL RIO of all people! (And before you ask, I know that Orton is a 13 time world champion; but it took him a while to be trusted with the main event again after his second strike. If that's how bleak things were for the Viper, i'd have every right to worry for Paige's future)</p><p> </p><p>

Speaking of which, I have no idea how Del Rio got Paige suspended except for the hint that he was being a 'bad influence' on Paige. Here's what I don't get, How exactly was Del Rio a bad influence to her? The only picture we saw of the two together was at Disneyland, and even then that was for a Total Divas shoot. (I think)</p><p> </p><p>

So something tells me either Paige fell into a trap or Del Rio has that much of an influence in the locker room. Either way, oh how thy mighty hath fallen.</p>
