With young, hungry Superstars such as Sheamus as WWE Champion and Drew McIntyre as WWE Intercontinental Champion, a new era has begun in World Wrestling Entertainment.

 

Many have argued that this, however, is only due to Sheamus and McIntyre being the "favourites" of Triple H and Shawn Michaels, collectively known as Degeneration-X.

 

Whether young Superstars continue to rise in WWE in 2010 or older stars such as The Undertaker, Triple H and Shawn Michaels continuing to dominate remains to be seen.

 

WWE still has a huge amount of talent with Randy Orton and Legacy continuing to feature heavily on Monday Night RAW, and Batista showing great dominance that he once showed in his aggressive ways when he first broke into the scene in Evolution on Friday Night SmackDown!, this could be a great year for the Number One Wrestling Company in the World.

After the match Melina comes to the ring. The Divas Champion calls out the rest of RAW’s Divas, and Brie’s sister Nikki, Kelly Kelly, Maryse, Alicia Fox and Gail Kim all come to the ring. Kelly immediately hugs Melina and asks her what she wants and Melina soon replies. Melina tells all of the Divas that she will be defending the Divas title at the Royal Rumble in a six-way match. Melina says that as there are seven potential challengers, two of them won’t be involved in the match. Melina tells the Bellas that she’s sorry, but Brie did just lose her match.

Hornswoggle comes to the ring and shakes hands with all of the Divas as they make their way to the back. Hornswoggle enters the ring and says that he will be in the Royal Rumble match. He is soon interrupted by Carlito. Carlito says that he will also be in the Royal Rumble match. Carlito then kicks Hornswoggle in the skull, knocking him to the mat below. Carlito then says that at the Royal Rumble he will throw out Hornswoggle along with twenty-eight other WWE Superstars on the way to cementing his place in history. Carlito says he will be the first Royal Rumble winner from Puerto Rico and will then go on to Wrestlemania 26 and become WWE Champion for the very first time.

Royal Rumble Qualifying Match: John Cena versus Chavo Guerrero

This match is too long given who’s involved, with Chavo bringing it to Cena on numerous occasions and almost pulling off the upset victory. However, Cena eventually gets the victory after Chavo taps out to the STF.

John Cena defeated Chavo Guerrero in a Qualifying match in 17:58 by submission with a STF.

Royal Rumble Qualifying Match: Masters, Jack Swagger & Paul Burchill v Kingston, Henry & MVP

Katie Lea Burchill joins the newest member of the RAW roster and her Brother Paul Burchill at ringside for this match in which the winning team will all advance into the Royal Rumble match. Kingston pins Swagger after a Trouble In Paradise to get the win for his team in this one.

Evan Bourne comes to the ring, only to be soon joined by the WWE Champion. Sheamus rushes the ring and hits his challenger in tonight’s main event with a huge Bicycle Kick. Sheamus looks more than dominant and it looks as though Bourne has little to no-chance of winning the title tonight.

Eve is visibly tiring towards the end of this match, partly due to her not being an active wrestler, not even considered for the Divas title match at the Royal Rumble. As such, Alicia gets the victory here after hitting Eve with a foreign object.

Soon, Randy Orton joins the pair in the ring. Orton says that he is obviously in the Royal Rumble match, and is the clear favourite after winning the whole thing last year. United States Champion The Miz then joins the trio and says that he is a Champion, and will win the Royal Rumble this year.

Chris Masters and Jack Swagger come to the ring. Swagger takes a microphone and says that he and Masters are challenging DX for the Tag Team titles at the Royal Rumble. DX then come to the entrance-way, and motion at the young pair to bring everything they have at the Royal Rumble. Swagger says that they will win the tag team titles before going on to win more WWE titles than DX have ever had.

Following her long match on RAW last night, Brie Bella is said to be feeling the effects of a recent grueling schedule, and has asked for time off.

 

Last night's Monday Night RAW drew a 0.02 rating on Sky Sports in the United Kingdom.

 

Monday Night RAW last night also drew a 4.63 rating on USA Network, one of the better ratings in a while.

 

It's said that WWE is trying to sign Ted DiBiase Sr. to an exclusive written contract.

 

It's been said that Carlito attacking Hornswoggle on RAW last night will most probably lead to an ultimate burial of Carlito, with Hornswoggle eliminating him from the Royal Rumble match.

Caylen Croft and Trent Baretta versus Christian and a Mystery Partner

Rumours are swirling about the identity of the ECW Champion's partner as they will team to take on ECW's newest young tag team.

I really don't like doing this, putting other diaries down, but I agree with b0shey.

 

Having 2 Divas matches running at 18.30 and 15.08 is far too out there, and Cena vs Chavo Guerrero lasting just shy of 18 minutes is silly too.

 

Then you don't even mention the time for the 6 man tag match.

 

Evan Bourne has got a title shot from out of absolutely nowhere, the whole thing is just unbelievable.

 

I'll admit I've been hard on you in the past, but I urge you to please, look at the product you are working with, and get some stuff written in advance before starting a diary. My diary is currently on a brief hiatus as I get the next few months worth of shows in the book, and that is the sort of thing you should be looking to do too.

Batista then comes to the couch, and says that everyone here in this tiny ECW arena should be proud to be in his presence. He says that he will be in the Royal Rumble match later this month, and will win it for the second time. Washington then announces that he will also be in the Royal Rumble match, making his wrestling debut. Tony Atlas then takes a microphone and says that Washington has more chance of winning the Rumble than anybody else, including Batista.

Beth Phoenix defeated Savannah in 8:19 by submission with a Glam Slam after blatantly cheating.

Evan Bourne comes to the ring and says that later tonight he will once again face the WWE Champion Sheamus, this time in a non-title match. Bourne is soon interrupted by Carlito, who says Bourne has no chance of beating Sheamus in tonight’s main event. Carlito then says he will win the Royal Rumble, before heading to Wrestlemania to take the title off of Sheamus himself. Bourne then turns around to leave the ring before Carlito shockingly hits a Backstabber. Carlito then leaves a fallen Bourne alone in the ring, clearly weakened before his main event match with Sheamus later.

ECW Champion Christian comes to the ring, but before he can say anything he is attacked from behind by Caylen Croft. Croft kicks Christian in the gut whilst he is down, and then takes a microphone. Croft says that Christian went to Hollywood and chose The Rock as a tag team partner on Tuesday on ECW, and made him and his partner Trent Baretta look like fools. Croft says that nobody makes the Dudebusters look like fools, before leaving the ECW Champion hurt in the ring.

Charlie Hass comes to the ring and says he will win the Royal Rumble, and he will prove that veterans like him deserve more recognition. He says that he deserved the Intercontinental title match tonight, not Eric Escobar. Hass then says that he will take on Escobar tomorrow night on SmackDown! Hass says he will beat Escobar, and prove that the old guard are still as dominant as they once were.

Eve comes to the ring and says that she will be in charge of RAW this Monday, as the Celebrity Guest Host concept has ended, and RAW still does not have a permanent General Manager. Chavo Guerrero then comes to the ring and asks Eve if he can have a rematch on RAW with Cena, with Cena’s Rumble spot up for grabs. Before Eve can answer, John Cena comes to the ring. Cena says that he’s fine with beating Chavo for the second week in a row, and Eve says that the match is on. Eve then leaves the ring and Cena and Chavo Guerrero stare each other direct in the eyes before their match on RAW this Monday.

Chris Jericho comes to the ring and says that even though he lost his Royal Rumble Qualifying Match to Goldust last night on ECW, he has spoken to General Manager of SmackDown! Theodore Long and issued him an ultimatum, telling him he would leave SmackDown! unless he receives a spot in the Royal Rumble. Jericho says that Long accepted, and he will now take part in the Royal Rumble match. Jericho then smirks before leaving the ring, happy that he'll be in the Royal Rumble match.

Chris Masters comes to the ring and says that at the Royal Rumble he and Jack Swagger will defeat D-Generation X and become the new Unified Tag Team Champions. Masters says that he has never held a Championship and looks forward to winning his first one at the prestigious Royal Rumble event in a few weeks time.

David Hart Smith then comes to the ring and says that like Jericho, he too has been given a spot in the Royal Rumble match despite losing his qualifying match to Eric Escobar on ECW. Punk says that’s fine, as David Hart Smith doesn’t even appear on his radar, he’s so insignificant. Smith then says Punk will see just how significant he is come the Rumble, and heads to the back.

Hornswoggle comes to the ring and crotch chops a few times, before he is assaulted from a hit-and-run attack from Cody Rhodes. Rhodes hits Hornswoggle, knocking him to the mat. Cody then takes the microphone and says it’s a joke that Hornswoggle is in the Royal Rumble match, and says that this year he will make sure Randy Orton wins the match for the second year in a row. Rhodes then goes to pick Hornswoggle up and throw him out of the ring, before Hornswoggle is saved by Santino Marella. Santino rushes to the ring and Cody quickly retreats. Santino helps Hornswoggle to his feet and tells Cody that he will win the Royal Rumble, and will become the first Italian to ever Main Event Wrestlemania.

Sheamus and Evan Bourne have pretty good chemistry, and it lifts this match significantly. The WWE Champion gets the victory here after striking Bourne with the Championship belt behind the referee’s back.

I don't want this to seem like I'm being nasty, but are you booking these shows blindfolded because the match times you've got are ridiculous. Finlay vs Dolph Ziggler and Cena vs Chavo both around the 18 minute mark? It's insane. Gives the feel that 0 thought has gone into what you're posting.

Some diaries, well a lot of diaries, always run into this problem because on a 2 hour show you have to book 120 minutes of stuff. So its hard to fill all that time and still book it like a real WWE show. The layouts of his shows follow that of WWE, but the times are just off. WWE RAW is really only 88 minutes long. Maybe 94 if you count a 6-minute overtime. Thats why I think its best to cut all TV shows down. I wish thats a new feature in TEW10 is commercial time for TV shows. Doubt it will be.

 

Line of thumb: A 30-minute TV show is in reality usually 22 minutes. So an hour is 44 minutes, hour and a half would be 66, ext ext.

 

For WWE that includes the beggining graphic to the announcers talking, to every "Tonight" graphic and segwuay. In reality a REAL WWE show would look like this in TEW:

Smith then throws Mysterio over the top rope, before Natalya takes a microphone. She guarantees that one of the Hart Dynasty will win the Royal Rumble match. The pair remain in the ring ready for Smith’s match.

JTG takes a microphone and says that even though he lost his Royal Rumble qualifying match to Luke Gallows earlier, because Gallows used the ropes Theodore Long has granted JTG a spot in the Rumble match anyway. Shad then takes the microphone and says that he will also be in the Royal Rumble match, and promises that Cryme Tyme will get revenge by eliminating both Luke Gallows and CM Punk, and outlasting the Straight Edge Society, as they are better than them. Shad says that no matter what one of them win the Rumble match, the other one will make sure that they win the World Heavyweight Championship at Wrestlemania.

The World Heavyweight Champion The Undertaker comes to the ring. Before he can say anything, however, The Great Khali makes great strides to the ring. Khali gets a mixed reaction as he stands in the ring with the World Champion. Suddenly, Khali hits Undertaker with a huge chop. The chop is ineffective, but Khali then kicks Undertaker in the groin area, knocking him to the mat below. The fans then begin to boo Khali as he lifts his arms in the air in celebration. Slam Master J then unexpectedly comes to the entrance-way with Jimmy Wang Yang. Slam Master J says that both he and Jimmy are tired of being under-appreciated. He says that they have spoke to Theodore Long, and he just said that as Khali wants to attack the World Champion, the title will be defended at the Royal Rumble in a Fatal Four-Way match, with Undertaker defending against The Great Khali, Slam Master J and Jimmy Wang Yang.
