djthefunkchris
Alright, back to DS3 for now Another one for the mod http://i16.photobucket.com/albums/b29/EkimNosneb/033.png What happened to the elbow area and the spots on the wrists, do you know? I'm pretty sure I've seen that before (on something I did), and just didn't save the render because of it. I have no idea what causes it, but rebooting and redoing it over, I believe helped.... And I think I was using an older model in an older runtime for it.
Trell
hmmm, I probably should've looked there before I posted it , not quite sure what happend there but I'll definently give it another shot
jhd1
SWF Fan posted this in his own thread but I thought I'd post it here anyway. I think of all the renders I have done, this is my favourite so far http://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/Alts/Renders/ElAngel_jhdFull.jpg The arm bands were added post-render in PS, the rest was done in DAZ. SWF Fan
Reminds me of Mistico, great work! Aye man, was the intention I gave forward to my buddy when I asked him for it, never thought it could turn out so amazing. Thing of beauty
ewanite
hmmm, I probably should've looked there before I posted it , not quite sure what happend there but I'll definently give it another shot Apparently the joint movement issues have been fixed in the new version of Michael. Apparently it's available in the new Daz beta but I haven't got the Beta yet.
ewanite
Been trying a few light setting recently but I think this is my favorite. Looks good is quite a cartoony way and only involves rendering one spotlight. http://i1005.photobucket.com/albums/af173/ewanite/th_Bigman1.jpghttp://i1005.photobucket.com/albums/af173/ewanite/th_Giant1-4.jpghttp://i1005.photobucket.com/albums/af173/ewanite/th_Giant2-4.jpg

ewanite
There's two distant white lights with no shadow mapping and a spotlight with Shadow mapping that I stole from jtlant and changed slightly Distant Light #1 Intensity 140% Y Rotation -157 Everything else untouched Distant Light #2 Intensity 140% Y Rotation 129 Z Rotation 23 Everything else untouched Spotlight X Translate -81 Y Translate 170 Z Translate 170 Point At: Chest Deep Shadow Map Shadow Softness 69 Intensity 105% Spread Angle 160 As for the fat tranny, I was rendering a fat guy while watching last year's Gorgeous George Hall of Fame induction! fullMETAL
This is a render of ME, with some "help" (in the upper body area--I'm TG). My mouth might actually be a bit smaller in real life, but I was working from an oddly-angled reference picture. http://i752.photobucket.com/albums/xx166/FullMetalitia/Whateley/DJ01.png http://i752.photobucket.com/albums/xx166/FullMetalitia/Whateley/DJ01a.png THIS RENDER OF ME IS FOR DISPLAY PURPOSES ONLY. YES, I ACTUALLY DO LOOK LIKE THIS, BUT USUALLY ONLY ON MY ABSOLUTE BEST DAYS.
Guest codey
Very good render. I don't know anything about lighting, but it looks like you tried something new and it turned out really well.
TLLK
The Great Sasori First time ever doing stuff like this, so bear with me if it's horrendous. Original render was made by jhd1, as he so graciously gave me some generic fellows to work with. All of this was done in GIMP...mask, coloring, accessories, and some skin tone work...and I think it turned out well. Posting this to see how the seasoned vets of this board, and even non-rendering fans, like it. http://i878.photobucket.com/albums/ab345/TheLeviticalLawKid3/Renders/TheGreatSasori-1.png So...whaddaya think? TLLK
The design looks great, but the mask doesn't fit the top of his head! It does...it's just the lighting on the head. Just noticed that it kinda looked like his hair, but I assure you...that's a full mask.

fullMETAL
Very good render. I don't know anything about lighting, but it looks like you tried something new and it turned out really well. Actually, I used the same lighting presets I've been using for the past 6 or so months (a Y style with maximum white on each--I'll post the settings soon), and did my standard "portrait" and "full-body" render pairing. I think what you noticed was that I was playing around more with bump-mapping and the Advanced tab in the Materials Room (I use Poser 8 rather than Daz Studio, because I couldn't get Daz to install right). Thanks for noticing!

jhd1
Just thought I'd post these ShareCG freebies that I stumbled across in case anyone has missed them... http://www.sharecg.com/images/medium/43405.jpg http://www.sharecg.com/images/medium/81786.jpg The images aren't by me, by the way - and there is no lighting with either set (which is a pain when you don't know what you're doing!). The Elimination Chamber is designed to fit to the wrestling ring, and there is even an arena somewhere to match. There is also a wrestling ring on Renderosity, but it isn't free and I've never tried it. Renderosity's ring also has an accessory pack that includes a cage, HIAC and breakable table, but again there is a charge. Both are on sale (30% off) until Friday 15th. Hopefully someone will find it useful!
fullMETAL
Sweet that you found that high-quality Elimination Chamber--I'm gonna get it now and probably use it for a render or 2. For anyone interested in my lighting settings for my renders, here they are: - 3 lights, no more, no less - for all 3 lights, apply these settings Other Shadow 1.0 Map Size 256 Red .996 Green .996 Blue .996 Intensity 100% ShaderNode Preview_Light_0_R .996 Preview_Light_0_G .996 Preview_Light_0_B .996 Preview_Light_1 1.0 - now, here are the positions for each Light 1: Transform xRotate 119 yRotate -46 zRotate -151 Scale 55% Light 2: Transform xRotate -16 yRotate 16 zRotate 7 Scale 55% Light 3: Transform xRotate 244 yRotate -42 zRotate 288 Scale 55% These settings will DEFINITELY work in any version of Poser, and should work in Daz.
