With a strong focus on creating brand new superstars, names like John Cena, Randy Orton and Brock Lesnar became a key focus of the company. While some talent gambles turned out better than others, there is no doubt that 'Ruthless Aggression' has made an entertaining product.

 

But will fans prefer their old favourites rather than the new stars? Can Cena, Orton and Lesnar compete with The Rock, Hogan and Goldberg? Or will the youth experiment fail?

Will there be any high profile free agents?

 

Yeah there's quite a few, as some feds (ECW/TNA/NWA/WWE particularly) have a limit on how many guys can fit, and I wanted a few big names for people to sign.

 

Some notable free agents include Terry Funk, Abdullah The Butcher, Stan Hansen, Bobby Lashley, Harry Smith, Jerry Lynn, Carlos Colon, Bobo Brazil, Ray Stevens, Vampiro, Jushin Liger and Rhino.

I loved the 08 version (as did everyone who played it, or so it seems), and this version seems to have been massively improved. Can't wait until it comes out. Thanks to all the hard work on the part of the maker.

Here are two of the Wrestlemania cards from the 4 WWE/F feds (WWWF doesn't have a Wrestlemania, though it does have a Wrestling Classic and a Big Event!).

 

First is WWF Classic. The main events look good enough, but that might be the worst looking undercard in WWF history. The Warlord vs Typhoon, Brutus vs Akeem, Koko B. Ware vs Dino Bravo, Virgil vs Iron Mike Sharpe! EPIC!

And WWF: New Generation. A better undercard (though I'll have to do something about the inter-gender tag team match between Well Dunn and Aja/Rhonda Singh. Also have to change her name to Bertha Faye's come to think of it).

 

I dig the backstage segment with Sunny and Bret Hart. Isn't that what Shawn used to tease Bret about?

This was an awesome mod and I am really looking forward to it. The only issue I had with the 08 release was that I personally thought that the woman got a raw deal. I though a lot of them were under-rated, especially if they are suppose to be at there peak. Have you kept the stats much the same as in the 08 version? Again this is an awesome mod and I cant wait for it to be released.

To be honest I think Kong in the original WOTI was over-rated. She had 75 psychology and 73 basics, a 72 brawling and a 70 hardcore. Those stats would guarantee a C+ to B level match every time against an average opponent, and Kong doesn't produce that. Not many female workers produce that.

 

Even a solid female worker like Tara/Victoria doesn't really warrant basics/psych above 60 imo. I'm more than happy to get some feedback and make some changes on this, but I need specific examples of under-rated workers to change things.

imo awesome kong stats should pretty much mirror suzue katayama in the cv.
