Apparently this site has a trailer for the upcoming movie. It looks like the real thing. Even shows a cut from the scene that features Arnold, Sly and Bruce together for the first time on screen.

Yeah, there's been a few trailers for The Expendables out for a while now. Looking forward to it, in a "Could they get any more 80's/90's action guys/MMA fighters/wrestlers in one movie if they tried?" kind of way :-p

Shame they couldn't land JCVD to complete the set :-p

apparently he felt he'd get lost in the shuffle (IMO) and the only reason Seagal turned it down was because he is on the outs with one of the other producers working with Stallone.

What is the movie about?

An assembly of hired guns are sent on a mission to a South American country, with the objective to overturn the cold-blooded despot in charge. As the mission begins, the mercenaries discover that the situation is not as it appears. The men find themselves trapped in a deadly game of deception with a traitor among their ranks. My God...the 90's are back...and the 80's...and the 70's! :D

If this succeeds then action films will be the trend again.

i'm such a fan of the genre I got cold chills watching the trailer. I can't wait. :D

Me too. Hopefully they keep it fairly simple and tongue-in-cheek (it certainly looks that way from the trailers) and don't try and be clever with it. I want to see those guys fighting and blowing stuff up in the most imaginable ways possible, not trying to act :-p

stallone and austin's fight scene was so intense stallone ended up with a hairline fracture in his neck and needed a metal plate inserted.
