ECW 2.0
So, is this finals killing Lebron's Legacy and helping Wade and Dirk's? Also is it about time to give Dirk his props and put him in the conversation of top 5 PF of all-time? Dirk is top 3 PF all time IMO or at least 5 and D Wade is the closet to MJ since MJ tbh he step up in the crunch time and puts his team on his shoulders. Lebron is and always will be a choke artist and the most overrated player in the last 10 years
ShaunGBD
the most overrated player in the last 10 years Look I used to like LBJ, But I give him credit. Explain, why you think that
michgcs
http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=foaPMZxtzx4#at=31 This is why I can't stand Lebron and other superstars. SMH (also, if anyone can teach me how to embed properly, that'd be much appreciated)
ECW 2.0
Look I used to like LBJ, But I give him credit. Explain, why you think that All the hype around his game and marked as the best in the NBA when guys like Kobe, Durrant, Dirk, and Wade are just as good if not better than him. He us a great player and one of the top 10 in the NBA but I want he to the hype they put on him.
BloodyKnuckles
LeBron James was dunked on by a college player on film, then took the film and destroyed it. True story, google it. **** that guy, go Dirk!
ShaunGBD
Look I hate LBJ as much as the next guy (or the last 3 people who posted above it) But is top 5 hell, top 3. He can do it all, pass, rebound, score in almost any way BUT also him going to the Heat, killed it for me, if he win a ring or 6 he had help with wade and bosh. He will never be Jordan. (If your a LBJ fan, and u wanna say anything about MJ Vs LBJ, I don't wanna hear it. HE WILL NEVER BE ON JORDAN LEVEL)

Jaysin
At least you people didn't grow up around Lebron...he was a few grades above me and he's ALL we heard about. We couldn't go one period of the day without hearing about the Great Lebron James and how he's destined for great things and no one in our class will ever be anything like he is...yadda...yadda...yadda... He didn't even go to my school! Same county and that's it.
Tha Black Phenom
If Heat do win this, I at least want the Finals MVP to go to Wade. He's been putting the team on his shoulders much more consistently than LeBron ever has, been making the plays and at the end of the day, it's still his team. LeBron is just the front passenger who ends up being the game closer a few important games here and there. Knowing them though, they'll have Wade and LeBron as co-MVPs or some bullshi. Only because he makes more front covers and media hype. As for Dirk, people are starting to compare him to Larry Bird now. That's certainly big shoes to fill, but if you do talk about today's greatest big man, there's no doubt Dirk would be in the conversation, he more likely edges out the "greatest white big man" category. Either way on that aspect, he's had an amazing showing in the playoffs. You thought the highlight of the postseason would stop at them sweeping the Lakers but they did incredible work against the Thunder as well. And now being able to contain the Heat through at least six games.. this is the stuff where legends are indeed created, and why I want Dirk to get that ring at all costs. lazorbeak
Honestly I think the Heat are just being out-coached. The Mavs switched to a zone and the Heat made zero adjustments: they didn't put in James Jones or Eddie House to stretch the D, they didn't make a point of attacking on the weakside glass (except for D-Wade), and LeBron looked tired on defense after being on the court all game. That said, Dirk is playing great and I think the Larry Bird comparisons are looking pretty spot-on. I'm really hoping the Mavs can pull this out, and I'm not normally a Mavs fan, having gone to school in San Antonio.

A guy on ESPN said it best, LBJ is gonna get this rings, Let Dirk get this 1. I hope he at least 1 and Mark Cuban to, I love both those guys. michgcs
Here's hoping Dallas gets game 6, as well. So far they've shown that they have the heart of a champion (cliche, but true) while the Heat have not.
ShaunGBD
I hope. Dirk stayed in Dallas all those years. Good and bad. He (they) played great tonight. Come on Dallas.
BloodyKnuckles
<p>Awesome game, awesome series. As much as I dislike LeBron, it's hard to not respect what the Heat have done but the Mavs are out-toughing, out-coaching, and ultimately out-playing them.</p><p> </p><p> I believe this series comes to an end in game 6 in another nail-biter (and we will finally see two of my all-time favorites with rings Dirk, and Kidd!!) but who knows with this crazy series.</p><p> </p><p> It's going to be hard as a sports fan after this series ends, Football is still a couple of months away. <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/mad.png.69834f23b9a8bf290d98375f56f1c794.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>

Mattywood
I'm calling it right now. Heat sweep the Mavs, if they don't sweep they finish it in five. *coughs* To quote Bobby Heenan when Ric Flair won the 1992 Royal Rumble: YES! YES! YES! YES! YES! YES! YES! YES! YES! YES! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UZFdA0eV-_M About 35 seconds in is my reaction.

BHK1978
Sadly I think you are right. I am not sure if it will be a sweep, I think the Heat will take it in six. I really do not want the Heat to win it all but it seems like destiny. Well I was right it went six games! I am just glad it was in favor of the Mavs instead. I love the fact that Lebron lost, to me he comes across as someone who thinks he is owed a championship because he is a good player. Well I guess he was owed nothing. TakerNGN74
I am glad the Heat lost because in the beginning of the season when the Big 3 were announced as being on the same team everyone said that they were going to win the title so I am glad to see that it didn't happen.
