To me, hair is one of the hardest things to get right (that and poke through with clothes when utilizing different morphs that clothing you desire to use, doesn't take it into account). When you desire a certain look for your character (and Hair is one of the biggest things to help with that), you tend to utilize the closest thing you can find, even if it's meant for a different character then what your using. Unfortunately not all hair works with all characters... V3 hair for example, has alot of favorite hair that was not worked in well with V4 (geometry settings). So you have to tweak the knobs available to get it as close as possible. This is true with hair that was made for a certain morphed character as well.. won't work well with other's if they have head morphs. There is all kinds of reasons hair can look more like a wig or fake hair (for a character), but most of it revolves around the hair itself not being very user friendly for the character someone is using. Instead of going with a style that would take the look away from the character, people will tend to use the right hair for the look, and give it their best shot. Normally, it looks better when reduced to the 150 x 150 standard for TEW though. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Mainstream's default render is actually a re-render - one of the first ever done way back in 2007 or so. Yeah, I'm a nerd. Has anyone tried doing new pics for RDJ or Enforcer Roberts? Thinking about the TCW and SWF rosters, they seem to the be the only ones who haven't been done - off the top of my head, anyway. Some excellent work here, by the way. I love the Super Sonic alt especially, and Remmy's new pic really gets across the stoned vibe he always has in diaries (is he a confirmed dopehead in the game?) I'd love to man but I had an "accident" with my saved scenes folder so I'd need to edit the cut in photoshop and that may take a bit for me to do on account of some of the rendering projects I'm working on atm are a bit higher priority to me.
