There's a story behind the BTG render, more than me just goofing around and seeing what rl workers I can sneak into the C-Verse. When I was about 12 in 1986, my dad took me to a WWF house show at the Scranton CYC. The headliners were the Nasty Boys, Randy Savage, Big John Studd and Tito Santana. Andre was also there at ringside but due to his declining health, he wasn't wrestling. The great thing about house shows at the CYC was, back then at least, the wrestlers all made themselves very accessable, signing autographs, taking pictures, talking with the fans and generally being good guys. I remember seeing Andre in person for the first time and, if you've only ever seen him on TV, trust me, he was every bit the giant that they hyped him as. He was wearing a cream colored button down short sleeve shirt and it was obvious that he had a back brace on underneath. He was also using those strap-on arm crutches that polio victims use to walk and you could see that it put great strain on him even to move. Despite the fact that his pain was clear, Andre stayed at that show until the very last fan left, making sure that every person who wanted an autograph or a picture or just to shake his hand got to do so, and doing it with a smile and a gentle demeanor even though it was clear how much pain he was in. As a kid, I'll admit I was a complete mark. As I grew older and looked back on these sort of memories, they were the events that cemented me as a lifelong wrestling fan. Might I suggest someone whose render hasn't been updated since TEW04 (or so it seems)? Someone like, oh I dunno, Tsuki Kawamata? Maybe a Melanie Florence (though I coulda sworn someone did her)?
