I've seen a few Colony ones that were pretty good, but none that were nearly spot on. I'd love any more Chikara inspired masked wrestlers you'd do tbh. I was curious as to what mask model people are using for those who are doing wrestlers with masks? No matter how much I search, I sure can't seem to find anything out there without having to pay. zaphenomenalone Posted July 16, 2011 Share Posted July 16, 2011 I know that the XDW 5some as been done already (Fearless Blue, Daredevil Aero, Super Sonic, Xavier Reckless, and Extreme Deluxe) but they seemed to be reimagined instead of rerendered. While the renderer who did this is obviously very talented it seems like he should have put these in the alternative section with the exception of Super Sonic and maybe Xavier Reckless who looks like a generic black man in the first place. If someone who likes the XDW stars as much as I do but is far better at rendering than I am (I am going to post someones I did in the alternative thread soon so you can see my shallow skill set) and would like to rerender them I would be eternally grateful. Wow. I am almost tempted to be offended. Almost. Good thing I am a man of supreme self-assuredness and completely immune to the criticism of others....(LOVE ME PLEASE!!!!!) Seriously though, what's the point rerendering characters if you're not going to reimagine them? If people were happy with the original renders those of us doing rerenders would probably be rendering porn instead. I know I would. That's why we're fortunate that there are many different people rendering in many different styles. Long story short, I'll put my renders where I dang well please! I just don't want Real World in my Cornellverse. Personal preference - for me the CVerse guys are their own characters, it's just weird for them to be wearing a 'real' guy's face. If a new render is done for a given worker but I prefer the old one (rarely) or another re-render that was already done, I will usually keep the other new as a random one for randomly generated workers. Just wanted to show some love: I use your re-renders of the XDW boys and your Fearless Blue is maybe my favourite render in the game. While I also dont' use the real world looking guys, I'm really happy that your re-renders aren't redone copies of the originals as it lets me use them any wrestler in the C-Verse I want as compared to just having 6 different awesome renders for Avalanche (or whoever).
