<p>The new WWE game is set to release next week, but I don't think I'll play it this year even though the roster looks decent at the very least. </p><p> </p><p>

WHAT IS NOT IN WWE 2K18 (from thesmackdownhotel)</p><p> </p><p>

Create A Finisher is not returning to the game</p><p>

There will be no GM Mode in WWE 2K18</p><p>

WWE Universe Mode in WWE 2K18 will not feature a Draft System</p><p>

There will NOT be a Women MyCareer in WWE 2K18</p><p>

It still won't be possible to assign Custom Music as superstar theme songs, due to Sony/Microsoft restrictions</p><p>

Differently from what previously reported by Gamespot, Intergender matches will not be available in WWE 2K18 and will not be an option for the new Create-A-Match feature.</p><p> </p><p>

Almost all of these really bug me, especially the lack of GM mode, even though they announced the drafting system over a year ago. I guess you can still sim it with TEW and just make T-shirt attires for SD! and RAW and just have the matches and make manual transfers, but it's not the same (not to mention a big hassle).</p>

<p>I heard a lot of positive news and reviews about Stardew Valley so a friend and I went splitsies and bought it for X1.</p><p> </p><p>

It seems to be a very quirky game that I'm not familiar with but it looks almost Pokémon like in it's visual aesthetic.</p><p> </p><p>

Anyone else played the game before? What's your thoughts on it?</p>

<p>So is WWE2K18 any good? I'm a pc user so I'll be playing tonight, though I fully expect something to be broken. The lack of a decent career mode is a problem as well, so I'll just be playing strings of 1vs1 matches I'm afraid. To be honest: I just bought the former version to have the Brock vs Goldberg match a couple of times, then threw it in the closet never to be played again. I did visit the CaW section where I got some great ones and played a couple of matches, but that's about it.</p><p> </p><p>

As an avid cardgame player, I was playing Eternal, Elder Scrolls:Legends and Gwent. I like all games but being casual and all due to other occupations Gwent's becoming more of a hassle due to there being no rewards for PvE play, which is annoying. Even MtG had it on Steam, and Eternal and ES:L have it in some form. Anybody here that plays either game? I can't get my friends to play any of these as they don't like the grind model, and I can't blame them. You either pay for randomly generated cards or have to play on a daily basis to complete your collection. Playing "friends" also isn't beneficial as you get no rewards at all to keep people from exploiting the system.</p>

Turns out I needed to do an update which I did in the early stages of my restart. Got back to the airships and was able to question Stagg without issue. But I still can't decide whether the streets of Gotham City are just crazy narrow or if the Batmobile just handles like a cow on supersonic roller skates. It's so annoying I spent most of my car time not spent in pursuit in tank mode.</p>

I played it a couple of hours yesterday. The new shaders make the gfx look a lot better (so I don't need sweetfx) but I can only play it in 1920x though it still looks great.

So far I'm surprised how fluid it plays, though some finishers are just bugged and don't look right at all.

At least the first Angleslam looked right. Hopefully I'll get more mileage out of this version as last year wasn't worth my 60$ (PC version is only half of that amount btw!).

Two games I'm playing right now:

Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Destiny 2

Destiny 2 is awesome, possibly because I'm playing it with a big group of friends. Right now it feels like there's a constant level of advancement and we're all just having fun running around doing the public events and patrols and stuff that are constantly active. The game has a big enough community that I'm not too worried about those ever dying down, and I've got a group of friends that are committed enough to do the raids that I'm not worried about those either.

Zelda is also awesome, and it's my first console one since the N64. Outside of Ocarina on that I only played the handheld ones (awesome) and I tried Twilight Princess on the Wii (HATED the controls). I actually bought a switch for this game, and I absolutely love the console. The shoulder buttons are a little close together but I got used to it after a while.

I'm also playing Golf Story on the Switch. If you like irreverent games, definitely try it. Between it and Zelda, I'm able to pass the time well when during the 6 hours between my classes on Mondays and Wednesdays.

The Switch is honestly an awesome little console/handheld, and this is coming from someone that absolutely hated the Wii and Wii U. It seems like they're going to switch their handheld efforts over to the Switch heading forward, which is honestly a great idea because Nintendo handhelds have never been lacking in great games, and they're also getting a large number of quality indy games (I'm thinking about getting Stardew Valley a second time for it) so I'm seeing a really bright future and a return to form for Nintendo consoles here.

Over the course of the past month I went from owning Fallout 4 to owning every game in the series. What happened was I liked the fourth one so much that I decided to get New Vegas because I heard it was great. Then last week Steam had a sale on the first two games plus some Brotherhood of Steel game in a bundle for nine bucks so I bought that.

Then yesterday I discovered that I had a code to get the third game for free. I thought for sure the code would not work but it did and so I snagged that one as well. I have not yet beaten part four yet (I just got the DLC for it) and I have only briefly played the other games to try them out, but so far they have all been pretty enjoyable. Which did surprise me because I would have thought the first two games would have aged terribly and yet they are still pretty good. Granted I do prefer the fourth game thus far (Now watch some crazy person come in here and call me a moron for having that opinion).

<p>Fallout 2 was my first one back in like 2002 and I loved it. Haven’t played 1 yet.</p><p> </p><p>

New Vegas is actually my favorite. It gets some shit for being buggy when it was released, but that was fixed pretty quickly. The gunplay isn’t as good as 4, but it’s about 10x the rpg, and it has some of the best DLC I’ve ever played for a game.</p>
