I finally caved in and got Binding of Isaac. It's... pretty f***** up. But fun. A good timewaster when you're waiting for things, more than a game you'd want to sit down and play.

Also got Hard Reset, which is also pretty fun.

Just Cause 2 was £1.99. Had to get that.

I'd also highly recommend Legend of Grimrock to anyone who thinks they might like it (it's a bit of a niche genre, but a really good game).

I also find it hilarious that the You Need A Budget finance software is on sale. ¬_¬

<p>I would recommend picking up Hammerwatch. It's on sale, and I think it is a blast. Having more people to play with would be great also.</p><p> </p><p>

In non-Steam news, I was playing Madden 25 on my Xbox 360 today and the frustration was ridiculous. I was playing online as my beloved Oakland Raiders vs. New England. I kicked the ball to start the game, and wound up getting an interception and returning it for a score. The game is 7-0. On their next drive, they throw another interception. And then they quit. In the first quarter. I hate Ranked Matches for that reason. It seems like probably 75% of players constantly quit, or go for it on 4th down every time and then quit. Look, play to the spirit of the game and I'll do the same! Some people man, I tell ya...</p>

I've been using Hammerwatch as my go-to "casual" game (that I play while watching youtube videos, for instance) lately. It seems horribly unbalanced though. Haven't tried multiplayer yet, but ranged characters have it easy, man. :p

I started as a Paladin, and the third enemy you fight in the game is ridiculously hard (it's a wormy thing with a ranged attack, which since you're a melee character essentially autohits you constantly, and poisons you to boot).

As a ranger the game is basically easymode. :p

My roommates got me Far Cry 3(I had rented and finished the game before, but it's so much fun I'm doing it again), Fall Out New Vegas(haven't played yet), and Skyrim Legendary Edition.

I was playing a Khajit save for awhile, but then I had the random inspiration to start a new save and try and role play as Kain from the Legacy of Kain series. I have it on PS3, so I can't use the Soul Reaver/Blood Omen mods, but I think my Kain looks close enough. When I get to Level 10, I'm going to do the Dawnguard stuff so I can be a vampire.

Can you believe I actually still need to experience the DLC content, though I own it on both xbox and pc? When I play Skyrim, I often am forced to start a new game due to some new mods (and yes, the game WILL crash sooner or later if you install mods mid-game), and doing all the vanilla stuff over again before the new stuff. Maybe in the following weeks. That is if I ever get tired of WMMA. <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

I'll probably pick Skyrim up when I get a new PC so I can play with some mods and what not, but right now I'm having fun on the PS3 version. I originally intended to do the original game before doing anything with the DLC, but my roommate said Dawnguard was the fastest way to vampirism and I'd really like to continue as "Kain" :p

<p>Can't forget the DLC - updated my Skyrim to legendary finally and now have Dishonored GOTY as well - I did mention I went a little bat**** during the sale, didn't I?</p><p> </p><p>

But here's the crowning irony - woke up today and feel like a pos, freezing in a heated flat, light headed, out of breathe and every joint and bone in my body is aching. Yay for a flu - can't even be arsed to play any game right now. xD</p>

The actual n64... well, you know how the controller works, so yeah. "RUN, LINK! RUN! The Skeletons are coming! *dies*". By the time I was done with it, it was the definition of 'worn down'. As for DLC: I don't see what it has to do with it? Its mere existence, however, keeps the devs from spraying the disk (or download, which is kinda unlimited actually) with content. Remember Perfect Dark? Holy mother of Jesus. Talk about a stacked cartridge. There was IN FACT no more room on it. It was bloody full. It actually weighted twice as much as some of my other cartridges (why did I ever buy Starshot? Why?). The thing I miss most about that time, was the fact that games were actually... COMPLETED once you bought it. Or they were in some deep shit. Right now, they don't seem to care one bit. Most of the games released are - on their own - technical pieces of crap. Mere weeks could've done it, but no no no, they prefer to complete the game while it's on the boat, or just release the dl for the heck of it.</p>

I too still have a working N64. Mine's still plugged in, attached to the crappiest TV I have (playing N64 on a flatscreen is even worse). I actually went back and played Goldeneye on 00 Agent not too long ago and was amazed at how incredibly easy it was. Plus I remembered things about the levels that my brain probably should have dedicated to something else by now.

Like when you get cornholed when drunk, or Goldeneye. <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> Was 00 Agent the hardest? I never got Perfect Agent on Perfect Dark actually. Got stuck at one of the first missions. And never finished the last one on Secret Agent, come to think of it. The shame!!! I should actually try for once [yes, try, you quitter!].</p><p> </p><p> Never actually owned Goldeneye. It was my nephews. But the damn thing got me into gaming. DAMN YOU GOLDENEYE! I could've been a ballerina. Managing some local overweight pro wrestler. Or training bears at the circus. <img alt=":(" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/frown.png.e6b571745a30fe6a6f2e918994141a47.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> Before that I had a sega in my room, but couldn't care less about it, occasionally playing stuff like Ecco and Sonic but never more than a few hours a month. Goldeneye's split-screen mp changed that. A different world <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />. And then Wave Race (got it with the 64), Cruis'n World (crappy as f*ck but fun as hell) and Zelda. The rest you can guess.</p>

I think it was some of the older racing games (WRC 2, Crash Team Racing, Gran Turismo 3/4 and F1 2002) that seriously got me into gaming. I still consider GT4 to be the best game ever made. :)

I'm totally not addicted to gaming whatsoever. >_>.

I know how you feel about DLCs Blackman, especially with my PS3 rarely (if ever) being able to get a reasonable (2 hours) amount of DL time. :(
