I just joined the ranks of the PS3. Got the Last of US bundle, pretty cheap over all and i'm just now playing Batman Origins, it's fun so far. I've been wanting a Blue Ray player so now i have the best of both worlds.. heh.

 

Time to start buying the extras, headset, cable, used games. The world is my burrito.

Definitely sounds terrible.

I've asked a lot of people about this game and got nothing but complaints.

Mass Effect (halfway through the second game) has been brilliant. WWE '13 is just horrible, but still fun to play sometimes.</p>

So I FINALLY grabbed FTL, now I see Speedrunners is on the flash sale. If anyone wanted, but missed this sale let me know I actually have an extra copy. WWE 2k14 fixed almost none of the huge problems '13 had It's only real advantage is that it does have the greatest roster ever assembled in a wrestling video game. I don't think it's a massive improvement over '13 gameplay wise at all really. In fact in some places it's worse. The two big areas it excels is the 30 years of wrestlemania mode and the roster. 30 years of WrestleMania is really awesome. The nostalgia of WWE '13s story mode was the best yet, I'd thought, but this just takes that same concept and elevates it to a greater scale. Anyone use the Playstation Home for the ps3? I was thinking of getting it but it's 32 gigs or something like that for a dl, is it worth the space?

It's 32 or 35 MB i think. I think it's worth because there are many prizes that they give on Home. If you complete a challenge on the PS4 Map, for example, you win three free games, classics from PSOne.

I just now got around to beating Tomb Raider, one of my pick-ups from a previous Steam sale. It's pretty good, when it's not too busy being a super-serious Uncharted clone. The actual "game" part was a lot of fun, even if the combat gets a bit silly by the end. Has the new Batman game gotten a daily deal yet? That's one I was thinking of picking up if it gets in the $20-25 range.

Well, I went a little bat-bleep- during the various sales (Steam, Fast2Play and Uplay, mainly) and got: Bully - Scholarship Edition, Dragon Age Origins Ultimate edition, Fallout 3 GOTY (2,50€ promo sale on Uplay), all three Bioshock games (finally and - brilliant stuff), Splinter Cell Blacklist (8,99€ promo code sale on Fast2Play), Far Cry 3 and Assassins Creed 4 and a little earlier in the month, Starbound. All told, the games cost less than 70€ so right now I consider myself a champion bargain shopper. Or just a nerd with too much time on his hands - you decide ^^.

I grabbed Papers Please (pretty fun indie game), Star Wars Battlefront II (nostalgia overtook me), and Gone Home, which I'm about to play now.

 

Anyone ever played these? I'm sure some have played Battlefront haha, more interested in thoughts on the other two.

I've played papers please. It's fun and frustrating.
