It says I've put an hour into so far and a good chunk of that was just waiting for the freaking inventory screen to pop up(took almost a minute a few times). In conversations the characters' mouths move, but no words are being said and I'm not getting any audio or subtitles(even though I have them turned on). I browsed the internet looking to see if it's just a PS3 issue or not, but apparently quite a bit of PC users had the same issues in non English speaking countries, but I doubt that's my issue since it's a North American PS3. <p> </p><p> The combat and running around and whatnot works fine, but anytime Death has a conversation with anyone, I don't get anything. For some reason I decided to start a new save file with Darksiders 2 and so far none of the problems I experienced before are happening. All I can think of is that somehow the original save file was corrupted or something when it was generated.

<p>Is Injustice any good? I'm not a <em>huge</em> fan of fighting games, but I like the DC Universe and it's 75% off on Steam ($7.50), so I'm wondering if it's anything I should bother grabbing.</p><p> </p><p>

I also just got Mortal Kombat: Komplete Edition for $5, which was the other part of their sale.</p>

Injustice is the newest Mortal Kombat, but with DC characters. It's fun, but I'm also a Mortal Kombat die hard.

I have a question of my own, I'm planning at building a desktop pc at some point in the future and thought about just grabbing games during Steam sales even if my lap top can't play them. If I do that, they're licensed to my Steam account not my laptop correct? I know that probably sounds like a dumb question, but I barely use my Steam account since my laptop sucks.

<p>Not sure if it's been discussed yet but has anyone played <strong><em>Murdered: Soul Suspect</em></strong> yet or plan to buy it? Critic scores have been average at best, but user reviews have been more positive.</p><p> </p><p>

I thought the concept for the game was kind of neat, so I'm a bit interested. Just wondering if any of you guys have any impressions on it yet.</p><p> </p><p>

In an unrelated note, I went and purchased myself an Xbox One controller from Amazon today with the news that Microsoft finally released support drivers for it to work on PC. I normally don't use controllers for PC games, but for me, some games are just better to play with a controller. Not many, but some.</p>

I use a controller for racing games, sports games and games obviously designed for a controller (Guacamelee, to name one).

 

I'd literally rather throw my PC out of the window than play an FPS or a RPG with a controller. ¬_¬ Skyrim with a controller? No thanks.

But that's why there's an option for controllers. No thanks.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> I mostly play straight up warrior so I find it easier to just lay back with the controller than having my arms stretched all the time. Plus dialogue is easier with the controller IMO.</p><p> </p><p> If I was playing thief or magic I'd use mouse and keyboard since I can switch between magic easier. I guess if you're a very focused player the controller wouldn't be as involved and the mouse and keyboard.</p>

<p>Skyrim'z a weird one because it seems like it was very much designed with consoles in mind. The entire interface just works better with a controller. </p><p> </p><p>

For the most part I prefer keyboard and mouse, but for a lot of games I bust out my 360 controller. If there's driving involved, I'm not even trying to use my keyboard!</p>

<p>It's actually quite funny. I use the iHUD mod (or whatever) that makes it pc-friendly, yet use a 360-controller for it. Just feels more natural.</p><p> </p><p>

For other games, I rarely use a controller. In the last month, I used it for Resident Evil and used it for Dark Souls before. But I don't play many action games.</p><p> </p><p>

An XboxOne controller with Play&Charge kit is only 54€ on amazon. Might be worth it.</p>

<p>Best news from E3 so far: a Grim Fandango remake. Never properly played the game, so this might be a differencemaker. Or I'll at least see a playthrough on youtube, which imo is almost as good as playing yourself.</p><p> </p><p>

For the rest, I didn't get much out of it. Several games, some which interest me. The new Bioware IP looks good, curious about the setting. <strong>Mass Effect 4</strong> will be awesome, no doubt. The new <strong>Dragon Age Inquisition</strong> seems promising. Apart from that, there was little. A new Tomb Raider game which every normal gamer will play eventually. So I'm guessing I'll skip the new consoles for now, as buying them solely for UFC, which seems a little lackluster at first sight, doesn't seem like a good move.</p><p> </p><p>

But then again, I'd be able to use the Xbox One controller for Skyrim (though the 360 one does a great job already). But 450€ is a lot of money. I paid less for my pc, which does a way better job then any console (but is struggling with Skyrim a little atm <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />). And it's got Divinity: Original Sin coming (next week), Torment: ToN, Project Eternity, some oldies I still want to replay, and more (WMMA4 obviously <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />).</p>

I think I have enough games in my computer that do what I want. TEW/The Sims 3 aremmy time killer/creative outlet, Skyrim and San Andrea are my sandbox, DA2,JRPG,Telltale are my story games, Halo:CE and Urban Terror are my online shooters, and the Total War Games are my world domination plus I have quite a bit of old freeware games downloaded that entertain me enough.</p>

The graphics seem bad, maybe even worse than 3 (though that seems unlikely in theory, and it's been a while since I played 3). Aside from some accessibility tweaks, you could basically do everything they suggest already.</p>

The graphic are more toon style that the Sims 3 I believe. The most important thing to me is how friendly the game is to modders.</p>

Was the ending so godawful that it killed any joy you got from the previous games? Good. Expect the worst possible ending and you won't be disappointed no matter what. <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> I honestly thought the ending was good. The problem is that the game was marketed to be diverse, that you had choices. You can barely change the conditions of the ending, despite having played for 50+ hours on the series, spread over years. Fans just expected more.
