I have had Witcher 3 for about a month and I sort rushed through the main storyline. Therefore, I am holding off on that and doing more contracts and secondary quests. Witcher 3 is such a huge step up from Witcher 2.

I have not had played the original Witcher and I am not sure I will because I have been told it is very dated and does not hold up. Granted that might not stop me because I still play my Genesis from time to time.

I like old school from time to time, but some games just don't age well. They told it right when they said Witcher I is among those games. I wouldn never play it again, though it was quite nice for its time, especially from a narrative perspective. But indeed: 1 is such a step forward from 2, which was already a big step up from 1. The experience I've had so far outshines pretty much all games of the action-adventure genre since Mass Effect 3 (perhaps ME3 itself).

I recently bought Life Is Strange during the last Steam sale and I have to say I found it to be a very good game. I know a lot of people complain about choices matters game in that your choice does not really matter. To an extent that bothers me as well but if the story is good, which Life Is Strange is, then I can overlook the fact that my choices really do not matter in the grand scheme of things.

Spent a few hours loading mods, tweaking SweetFX and I've been playing it almost non-stop for 3 days. It looks and runs good and it's totally addictive. I've only visited about 4 solar systems with the 1st Atlas Pass so I feel like I've barely scratched the surface. Glad I didn't buy it on launch. Looking forward to future stuff like cloud tech and buggies.

Yea that base building update really breathed new life into this game.....In hindsight if this was released on Day 1 it would have been worth the $60 price tag. It's sad how they rushed it out the door from what originally was pushed out to what we have now.

I haven't touched the game since the update, but before it, I was actually enjoying the fun of just traveling around and finding things, though the space battles SUCKED a lot.

About the complaining: who actually plays these games twice anyway and cares? The devs would need to spend months following up on the choices and for what? The 10% who happen to pick that option? More than half of the other 90% will probably never get to see the content. The others will probably find themselves complaining about the abundance of bugs instead (which is a logical result of having lots of options in a long storyline). More work for devs, same complaining.

So I know I'm late to the show but I finished The Last of Us for the first time on Monday and as many have already said the game is fantastic and I'm glad I finally had the time to play and more importantly finish the game.....then today I see that they've officially announced part 2 with an awesome teaser to go with it I kinda feel like naughty dog was just waiting for me to finish before they made their announcement.

I had heard how great it was and I love the Uncharted games it was just a matter of having the time to really sit and enjoy it for more than a half hour or so. That trailer though...I normally hate when watching events like this and all the fan boys start squealing for every trailer but I did the same thing when I saw the fireflys logo and it just built from there.

I have played Skyrim once every year since the game came out and I still play GTA V and Saints Row 2 a ton.) when the game has been out of my mind. In fact, I am probably going to fire up Tales from Borderlands again because that was by far my favorite game out of the Telltale games.

But I agree with you in that the choices should not matter as much because it would be a lot of work to make them matter. That being said as I said previously it does bother me a tad bit but not enough to curse at the heavens. Just enough to be like I'll make that choice but I know it will not matter much later on.

Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun is awesome!!! Its exactly what it says it is: Commandos in Edo period Japan. Fantastic game. And it looks absolutely terrific on my desktop which was old two years ago. Theres been a few glitches and its pricey for Early Access, but its basically the finished game.

I sprung for a Steam Controller on Black Friday and I've mostly been annoyed with it. Its big, uncomfortable, and clunky. I have to say Shadow Tactics uses the Steam Controller well though. I almost feel like its the way to play. The controls took some time to get used to but I ended up preferring it to my K/M.

Look on the internet. There is missing cinematics, key dialogs,

inconsistency.

The developer has already announced multiple DLC to fil in the gap in the story, and recommend to play the game after 2017

This is why I never pro order games and a lot of them I don't even end up playing until there 4th or 5th big patch. TEW is the only exception to the rule :p

While I can't pre order it (God only knows I would if I could). It would be the only game I would because I trust Adam's quality and attention to detail so much.
