I bought a few Lego games for pretty cheap and they're actually really fun. I'd never played any before but now I'm kind of obsessed with 100%-ing Lego Marvel Superheroes. There's so much content, and it's really fun to play co-op.

I started it with one of my housemates and so I wait for him to play the story and I just mess around in the meantime. We stopped at the mission where you get Magneto so far, and I haven't had any problems unlocking anything except for a couple of glitchy quests and still needing Galactus for a couple of things. But I can totally see what you mean.

Dishonored got old really fast. I didn't think it was possible for a game to get that repetitive that fast. I only finished the game because I hate leaving games unfinished. It had some fun concepts, but I don't think it deserved the hype or the 9/10 scores it received. It wasn't a bad game by any stretch of the imagination, but it could have been far better.

Same here. Everything about the game was good on its own, but something was missing to pique my interest at least. Also finished it barely, though I don't mind leaving games unfinished. (but I want to know the story's ending, even though it wasn't all that interesting :p)

Anybody read about the potential M$ press conference leak? People seem convinced (with good reason) that it's actually real. I'm personally not that excited about it as I'm not big on FPS, but it's perceived well by the general audience. But as I will have to buy a next-gen console soon anyway (for EA MMA, if it's good) I might as well watch the conference. I was going for the PS4, but if there's a new Perfect Dark... I might bite. If it's just a remake, I won't bother. I've played that game too much already and the gfx still stand imo. :p

So (assuming this is true), alongside riding the open world trend, Crytek also took out the Roman settling? I guess to them, the medieval setting hasn't been done to death yet. Here's an idea, if you have to set it in the middle ages, go with a place with different architecture like Hungary or Russia, not another damn trip to England or France (or fictional versions thereof).

To be honest, a new Crackdown is the only thing in that whole list that piqued my interest.

I think I have most of the 'legendary' bundles except one, unsure which one. :p Hope it comes a-knockin' in these two weeks. But honestly my gaming days are at an all-time low these days. Maybe playing those new Baldur's Gate remakes will give it another boost.

Weeks ago I FINALLY got a stable Skyrim working with the latest mods and good graphics, and I've gotten tired of it (after weeks of tweaking). Damn it all. Damn it all to hell. :p

Anyone to the play the show on ps4??

Yep I got it. It's uhm.... just like the show on ps3? lol.

Honestly, same great on-field gameplay. The franchise mode doesnt have the advertising and marketing crap that previous titles had, but those things were never particularly well developed anyway. The Show is king on the field and remains so this year. I'm a little disappointed in how little a difference between ps3 and ps4 there is but whatever. It's still fun.

Todays Humble deal is a bit rubbish

This daily bundle features the critically-acclaimed, epic strategy RPG, The Banner Saga. Pay what you want to receive a digital copy of the artwork of the game as well the Starter Pack DLC for the free multiplayer game, The Banner Saga: Factions.* Beating the average price will also nab you the Variations Pack DLC.

Pay $15 or more to seal the deal and enjoy the epic, strategy RPG, The Banner Saga

The smaller tiers unlock 4 units and colours for a free to play game and only if you pay the full $15 will you get the single player game

That is pretty shite, considering the game is only £18.99 on Steam. My exchange rate knowledge is a bit out of date by now, but that can't be much less than $15 anyway.

In other news, Bohemia Interactive steam sale: 15% off DayZ, 80% off ARMA 2 (making it £1.50), 40% off ARMA 3 (!!) and it's free this weekend, Carrrier Command: Gaia Mission is also 80% off. They're not really my sort of game, but if they're yours, it's like Christmas. ¬_¬

Yeah, I told you my conversion skills were lacking, I converted the WRONG WAY. >.

And yeah Blackman, it's by no means a bad game, I just never got into the whole cartoony thing it has going on, and I've got way too many other games that do similar things in (for me) a more interesting way.

Plus, between Dark Souls 2 and Space Engineers, my gaming time is pretty full right now...

Anyone else here play Space Engineers? It's AMAZING. Think Minecraft... IN SPACE~! but with a much more appealing graphic style (it's pretty beautiful, in places, considering the scale involved). The amount of stuff you can do (bearing in mind it's in Early Access) is ridiculous really, although a lot of it takes more effort than it probably should due to currently lack of hotkeys, and they've recently added multiplayer, which is fairly basic right now but still fun.

It's the cartoony thing that's keeping me back as well. It looks good and well designed, but doesn't fit the 'harder' viking theme imo. I also dislike JRPG's for that reason. Character design - and especially costume design - is horrible in those games, and that alone keeps me from fully enjoying them. It's called "Final Fantasy" - I know - but still...

I always admired Minecraft for the creative potential for creativity it holds, but never found the time it requires. And still need to play Dark Souls I, and I'm enjoying my replay of Jedi Knight III (with a HD mods) too much.

How is it cartoony? I don't recall any Looney Tunes-ish antics. It's a serious, well-told story that's drawn seriously and IMO beautifully. Have we really reached a point where we refer to everything that is drawn, or looks like it's drawn, as cartoony? Crap like this is why animation is shown no respect outside of Japan, and even then it's still a minority.
