GDS Fantasy Football League 2010

Well nothing surprising really happened in GDSFFL 2 his week as all the teams with the better over-all record won.

Which leaves us with:

EAST

Married Life: clinched playoff spot; clinched division; i beat the Scorpions head-to-head so i might even have the 1 seed clinched

Isotopes 8-5 vs Cobra Kai 7-6 : If the 'Topes win, they're in. If they lose, things get complicated, because that would give them a split with the Kai and then there's the possibility of a 3 way tie if the Jurassic Crush lose too. The 'Topes hold a big advantage in division record but are basically tied in PTS FOR.

WEST

Toxic Scorpions 9-4 vs Jurassic Crush 8-5: Scorpions clinched playoff spot; if they beat the Crush they clinch the division and possibly a 1 seed. If they lose, the Crush would have beaten them twice and have the same division record, so the Crush get the division.

Also, if the Crush lose, there could be three teams at 8-6 and then i honestly have no idea who would make the play-offs.

I'm going to have to beat Scorpions the next two weeks to get to the finals. If I lose to the Scorpions this week, I don't even make the playoffs. The two teams below me, Manico and Gatorsbait, play each other. So as long as they don't tie each other again [obviously not likely], if I lose one of them will have a better winning percentage than me thanks to the first tie and I'll miss the postseason. I've got some good matchups this week though, so hopefully things shake out my way so I at least get into the playoffs.

Pretty sure you're wrong buddy. Manicio and Gator are 6-6-1. Whoever wins will be 7-6-1.

You're 8-5. Even a loss makes you 8-6.

8-6 > 7-6-1. I still don't know if that gets you in the playoff though because I don't know what the tiebreaker order is.

Had another fun year playing fantasy football with you guys even if I didn't do so great compared to last year. Hopefully we can all do it again next year. Getting a draw even with fractional points surprised me but what really annoyed me about that week was Matt Forte getting half of Gator's points and then we all remember Calvin Johnson's TD that wasn't. Anyway another good year and am already looking forward to next year.

UGH..this is so frustrating.

I spent all year juggling my line-up because my two really reliable scorers were Adrian Petersen and Aaron Rodgers. And now I get to the play-offs..and Rodgers is probably out because of a concussion and AP has to play outdoors and not on turf, with no real QB to keep defenses honest.

The universe is killing my fantasy season

<p>Well in the first league I'm 10-3. I guess that's ok. It looks like I'm out of the second though. <img alt=":(" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/frown.png.e6b571745a30fe6a6f2e918994141a47.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p>

I keep forgetting about Thursday games so I miss the picks too. Man that stinks.</p>

<p>Another great year guys! </p><p> </p><p>

It's been a lot of fun to play a little fantasy football with those who spend as much unhealthy time on the GDS boards as I. ha. With that said, I'm feeling as if I'm on a bit of a roll since joining the league...</p><p> </p><p>

2008 - 1st Place</p><p>

2009 - 2nd Place</p><p>

2010 - 1st Place</p><p> </p><p>

To be honest, I hardly ever win anything; so, it's been a lot of fun to come away with such a strong showing consistently. Funny enough, too, I always tend to find myself drafting at a point where I say: "Well, Everyone I want to get is gone..."; then forced to pick someone who normally under-performs, gets hurt, or just simply puts forth an abysmal year. </p><p> </p><p>

All in all, great stuff guys.</p><p> </p><p>

Next year will bound to be just as fun I'm sure.</p><p> </p><p>

Cheers.</p><p> </p><p>
