The West Coast Warriors, ‘New School’ Jason Jackson, Eruption, Tsunami, and Larry Laffer, all came out to the ring, carrying their newly-won six-man tag team belts. As usual, Jackson took the microphone while Double Disaster stood around looking menacing and Larry Laffer made eyes at the ladies in the crowd. “At Showdown, the rightful champions were crowned, the West Coast Warriors won the six-man belts. Appropriate, isn’t it? That the men from the Golden State walked away with all of the gold. But that wasn’t a surprise at all to me. What did surprise me was Giant Grimsley. Grimsley, you are like such a sucker. Instead of staying to fight, you chased me down the aisle and left your partners in the ring. Not too bright, are you? Well, like, I suppose not everyone can be as brilliant a tactician as the Sun Tzu of the Sun Belt, the Philosopher of Pasadena, the Inglewood Intellectual, ‘New School’ Jason Jackson. So Grimsley, prepare to pay against MY giants. And ladies, as always, keep screamin’, keep beamin’, and keep California dreamin’.” C

Giant Grimsley v. Double Disaster (Eruption/Tsunami) w/Jason Jackson and Larry Laffer

Billy’s Take: Grimsley came out with a look of determination, obviously upset by Jackson’s comments. He dominated the early part of the match, pummeling both members of Double Disaster with paw-sized fists. But eventually, the two-on-one advantage (and Jackson’s nearly incessant distractions from ringside) caught up with TWL’s resident giant and Grimsley fell prey to a Tidal Wave from Double Disaster. After the match, Jackson leapt inside the ring and needlessly locked in the California Dream clawhold then stood on the chest of the felled Giant and flexed.

Archie ‘The Governor’ Judge and The Lone Star Stampeder came out to the ring. Stampy took a mic. “There are two thangs I cain’t stand – cattle rustlers and freaks. Now I don’t think there’s anyone stealin’ cows here in my company, but there sure as hell’s a freak show here. I’m talkin’ about you, Painted Paranoia. So come out here and get your whoopin’. We’ll put the titles on the line and make it your type o’ match, a No Holds Barred fight!” C

TWL Tag Team Titles: No Holds Barred: Team Texas (Archie ‘The Governor’ Judge/The Lone Star Stampeder) w/Major W.G. Reginald III v. Painted Paranoia (Machete/Rampage)

Billy’s Take: This was a crazy brawl as all four men gave it their all. Painted Paranoia had the early advantage, but then fell victim to well-synchronized double-teaming from Team Texas. In the end, Stampy hit the Texas Tumbleweed on Machete to pick up the win.

The TWL champion, Johnny Lawless, came out to the ring and took a microphone. “Now I’ve been hearin’ rumors that Luis Reyes wants another match with the champ. Seems like he got his shot at Showdown…and lost. So no, Luis, you don’t get your rematch. Not now, not ever.” Luis Reyes emerged with Shannon on his arm and snatched the microphone from Lawless. “You may’ve beat me Lawless, but you didn’t win fair and square, esse, and had to cheat to keep me down, didn’tchya? Well I don’t care if I have to go through hell to get to you Lawless, but I’m gonna take you down!” Lawless sneered and grabbed the microphone back from Reyes. “Oh you’ll go through hell Reyes, you’ll go through hell. But it won’t matter, ‘cuz you still won’t get a rematch. Not fair? Doesn’t matter, because I’m above the law. I’m…lawless…” C+

Captain USA/Mr. Excitement/Red Falcon v. Professor Nero/Lords of War (Warlord Agony/Warlord Pain)

Billy’s Take: Just as Chief made an example of Octavian Reyes, Nero and the Lords of War dominated this one. The highpoint of the match for the faces was an incessant “U…S…A” chant from Captain USA. Nero eventually locked the Descent into Madness on Mr. Excitement to end this one.

The Trailer Park Kid came out to the ring smoking a cigarette, Major W.G. Reginald III hot on his heels. The Kid took a microphone. “Well Mr. Texas Outlaw tough guy Mark Green, you got the win at Showdown. But just like your fearless leader Johnny Boy, you had to cheat to do it. What’s wrong Green? Too yellow to meet me in a fair fight?” Trailer Park Kid took a last long pull from his smoke before putting it out with his boot. “Way I see it, the Texas Outlaws ain’t as bad as they used to be when I was one of y’all.” The Texas Outlaws, Mean Mark Green, Floyd ‘F-Bomb’ Bowman, and Johnny Lawless came out. “Let me ****in’ at ‘em!” Bowman spat into the microphone. “I’ll rip his ****in’ head off and then take a **** down his neck! No one ****s with the mother****in’ Texas Outlaws!” Green pulled the microphone away from Bowman. “That’s right noble of ya’ Floyd, but this is between me and my former partner,” Green spat out the last word as if trying to get the taste of it out of his mouth. “Trailer Park Kid, you were a two-bit opening act until I found you. I made you and I can unmake you. Tell ya’ what, I got a match tonight and I’d like for you to watch. Watch closely Kid. ‘Cuz I took it easy on you at Showdown. Next time I won’t be so nice. And don’t never call me yellow again.” C

Luis Reyes w/Shannon and the Trailer Park Kid v. Mean Mark Green w/Floyd ‘F-Bomb’ Bowman

Billy’s Take: Apparently the first step in Reyes going through hell involved facing one of Lawless’ own Texas Outlaws, Mean Mark Green. This was a tremendous back and forth. Green took the early edge with a poke to the eyes and then some grounding mat work, cheating when necessary to keep the upper-hand. Green went for an Outlaw Driver and seemed confidently poised to finish off Luis when the youngest Reyes spectacularly reversed it into a sunset flip for the shocking three count to pick up the win.

TWL Title Match: ‘Gorgeous’ George DeColt w/Mark ‘The Lariat’ Krogan v. Johnny Lawless ©

Billy’s Take: Green’s loss clearly shook Johnny Lawless and DeColt took control in the early part of the contest. He manhandled the champion in the early-going and even went for a quick DeColt 45. Fortunately for Johnny, he was able to avoid the maneuver and slide to the floor. He waved off DeColt and took his belt, beginning to walk to the back and take the countout loss. But Mark Krogan growled and took off after his former protégé. He spun Lawless around and ducked a wild swing by Lawless before shoving the champ back to the ring. Lawless hesitantly went back inside and then seemed to gain poise, taking the fight to DeColt. Back and forth the two went, putting on a wonderful show. As has been the case lately, Johnny took the low road and hit DeColt with a low blow before connecting with a Power Lariat to pick up the win.

Professor Nero came out to the ring, once again wearing the Comanche headdress belonging to Chief Two Eagles. Nero began a mocking war whoop, slowly making his way to the ring. Just as had happened two months ago, Chief Two Eagles emerged from backstage, fuming at the mockery of his heritage. He took off toward the ring, causing Nero to laugh maniacally. “Come out my pretties!” Nero screeched loudly, apparently calling for the Lords of War to jump Chief Two Eagles. But this time, Agony and Pain did not come in from the wings. Instead, Cobra and Viper, the Crimson Serpent Cult, appeared, dragging the bound Warlords Agony and Pain behind them. Nero flushed in terror and tried to figure out an alternate escape route, but was unsuccessful. Chief Two Eagles backed Nero into a corner and demanded the return of his headdress. Nero grasped onto his prize tighter, causing Two Eagles to bring down a crushing Tomahawk Chop to Nero’s forehead. Chief grabbed his headdress and gently replaced it on his head, leaving the ring. Nero slumped over, unconscious, while Cobra and Viper brought out another surprise, this one in a burlap sack. The Cult dragged the bag to the ring and opened it, allowing the twelve-foot long python to writhe toward Nero, slithering over the fallen Professor, as the show came to a close. B+

5/6. And your rationale was perfect everywhere. Except that in-game I'm trying to bleed some overness from DeColt to others (since he'll undoubtedly leave in the next couple of months...if not earlier) and giving Johnny a cheap win does nearly as much storyline wise as putting DeColt over by DQ.

From the Notebook of Referee Billy

http://i263.photobucket.com/albums/ii147/ajcrible/TWL.jpg

TWL's second July event, TWL Blazing Inferno, promises to be a heckuva card.

Luis Reyes w/Shannon v. Floyd 'F-Bomb' Bowman

Last show, Luis defeated Mean Mark Green. Can he possibly overcome the whirlish dervish of the curse word, Floyd Bowman?

TWL Tag Team Title Match: Team Texas (Archie Judge/The Lone Star Stampeder) v. The Lords of War (Warlord Agony/Warlord Pain) w/Professor Nero

Archie and Stampy have successfully retained their tag team titles against some of TWL's toughest teams. But how will they fare against Nero's monstrous duo?

The Executioners v. Painted Paranoia (Machete/Rampage)

Painted Paranoia has failed in several attempts to win the TWL Tag Team belts. Will they take out their frustrations on the Executioners or once again face defeat?

Giant Grimsley v. 'New School' Jason Jackson

Last show Jackson stood triumphant over a fallen Giant Grimsley. Of course, his tag team buddies Double Disaster had a great deal to do with that. How will Jackson fare on his own?

'Gorgeous' George DeColt/??? v. Mean Mark Green/Johnny Lawless

The Lone Star Stampeder has told no one, and I mean no one, the identity of George DeColt's mystery partner. Will the element of surprise be enough to knock off the Texas Outlaws duo?

No Disqualification: Chief Two Eagles v. Professor Nero

In their last contest, Chief Two Eagles won by disqualification. In this one, there will be no DQs. How will Chief fare in Nero's environment?

Quick Picks:

Luis Reyes v. Floyd 'F-Bomb' Bowman

TWL Tag Team Title Match: Team Texas v. Lords of War

The Executioners v. Painted Paranoia

Giant Grimsley v. 'New School' Jason Jackson

George DeColt/??? v. Mean Mark Green/Johnny Lawless

No DQ: Chief Two Eagles v. Professor Nero

And feel free to guess the identity of DeColt's mystery partner. He's kind of a big deal...

I'm going to get a perfect score.

And in a ideal world, Dean Davis would be George DeColt's partner.

But in this world in the sense of a major player?

Hmm...

Luis Reyes v. Floyd 'F-Bomb' Bowman

- F-ewe F-Bomb, yer no mutha f**king b@$tard like Mean Mark.

TWL Tag Team Title Match: Team Texas v. Lords of War

- LoW will hold this title, when the youngest passes his driver's test... but on this night the likely lose by DQ or something.

The Executioners v. Painted Paranoia

- Wait, the Executioners are faces? Jobbing masked faces? Yah, enjoy your paychecks boys and stare up at them thar lights.

Giant Grimsley v. 'New School' Jason Jackson

- Grimsley losing makes Dubba J look even more dangerous than his Dubba Disasters. The leader of the New School, leading from the front. And cheating more liberally than Bowman drops the F-Bomb.

George DeColt/??? v. Mean Mark Green/Johnny Lawless

- I never bet against ???! Especially a 'kinda big deal ???' So let's say it's... Dan Stone Sr. because I don't know a lot of 77 CVerse characters.

No DQ: Chief Two Eagles v. Professor Nero

- Nero's match, in Nero's house. You proud fool Two Eagles! Chief of the Proudfoolfoot tribe.

- Wait, the Executioners are faces? Jobbing masked faces? Yah, enjoy your paychecks boys and stare up at them thar lights.

Yes, the Executioners are nominally faces. In an ideal world, they'd be heels. But in an ideal world, I'd also have the Demons of Rage, who I love but can't imagine bringing in as a face team. The problem with my tag roster right now is that it is heel-heavy. I need to establish some creditable face teams before I can think of introducing a heel team or turning a team heel.

The Executioners are also my way of experimenting with different tag team combinations (only of midcarders and below...other than Mark Krogan's short run as The Executioner) and seeing what sticks. So far I've found one case of excellent chemistry between my standard duo of Executioners - Kenny Maynard and Babyface Dave. The Executioners slated to face Painted Paranoia are, in fact, Babyface Dave and Rudolph Gray, just FYI.

At some point, I do want to make the Executioners legitimate contenders and use the masks a la the Killer Bees - where they use the nominally heel tactic of partner switching unbeknownst to the referee (which may be tricky to pull over on Referee Billy...), but do so against heels so that they are cheered. I loved that gimmick at the time. Of course I was like seven years old, but I thought it was awesome.

The Texas Outlaws, comprising TWL champion Johnny Lawless, Floyd ‘F-Bomb’ Bowman, and Mean Mark Green, came out to the ring. Lawless took the microphone. “Now it seems to me like everyone in TWL’s caught up with the stuff going on between Nero and Two Eagles. Enough is enough. In case you ain’t heard, I’m Johnny Lawless, and I am the ***-****ed Texas Wrestling League Champion and I’ve only been in ONE main event the last two months. That just ain’t right. And I ain’t about to let no two-bit red man take my spotlight. I’m above that, above the law, and, most importantly, I am…lawless.” “***in’ right champ!” Bowman sprayed spit everywhere after grabbing the microphone from Lawless. “I’m really mother****in’ tired of playin’ second mother****in’ fiddle! That ends tonight, sons of *****es, when I kick Reyes’ ****in’ teeth so far down his ***-****ed taco-lovin’ throat that he’ll be ****in’ molars for a week!” Green wrested the microphone from Bowman and spoke calmly and confidently. “Bottom line is this. The Texas Outlaws run the show here in TWL. Always have and always will. So we’ll tolerate this speedbump, for now. But this entire organization is on notice. You’re in Outlaw territory.” C

Luis Reyes w/Shannon v. Floyd ‘F-Bomb’ Bowman

Billy’s Take: Luis and F-Bomb put on an entertaining match, each hitting some of their signature spots. Reyes went for a Reyes splash, but missed, while Bowman tried to isolate Luis in a corner and punch him in the throat, to no avail. Instead, Bowman became increasingly frustrated at his inability to put the talented youngster away and started yelling at Shannon, sitting demurely at ringside. This momentary lapse cost him as Reyes connected with the jumping piledriver for the win.

TWL Tag Team Title Match: Team Texas (Archie ‘The Governor’ Judge/The Lone Star Stampeder) © w/Major W.G. Reginald III v. The Lords of War (Warlord Agony/Warlord Pain) w/Professor Nero

Billy’s Take: Team Texas was outmanned in this one as the Lords of War are not only physically imposing, but their in-ring work has improved by leaps and bounds in the past two years. This meant that Archie and Stampy mounted very little offense and looked in danger of losing the titles when Painted Paranoia, Machete and Rampage, ran down to the ring and attacked the champions, giving Team Texas the unlikely victory.

The Executioners v. Painted Paranoia (Machete/Rampage)

Billy’s Take: The Executioners had no chance in this one, falling prey to the Silent Death from Rampage to give the painted duo the victory.

Giant Grimsley v. ‘New School’ Jason Jackson w/Larry Laffer

Billy’s Take: This was a stark contrast in styles. Grimsley used his raw power to decimate the much-smaller Jackson, while Jason countered with a stick-and-move strategy, never staying in one spot for too long. Eventually, however, Grimsley caught Jackson and crushed him in a huge bearhug, at which point Jackson signaled to the back for Double Disaster. Eruption and Tsunami ran down to the ring and I went to call for the bell, but Grimsley grabbed my arm with a meaty paw and shook his head, as if instructing me not to call for the DQ. Instead, Grimsely released Jackson and threw huge forearm shivers that sent Double Disaster flying off the apron. Grimsley then locked Jackson again in the bearhug and picked up the submission win.

‘Gorgeous’ George DeColt came out to the ring with Mark ‘The Lariat’ Krogan, flashing a brilliant white smile in stark contrast to the tobacco-stained visage of the Lariat. “Whoa there Jason, just a second, eh kid,” DeColt called to the exiting Jason Jackson. The Pride of Pasadena turned slowly, grimacing with obviously tender ribs, to face the Canadian superstar. “You might want to stay here for just a minute, eh? Because I’m about to introduce my partner for tonight’s match against the Texas Outlaws.” Jackson called out across the arena “Like what’s it got to do with me?” to which DeColt simply smiled. “You see, my mystery partner is none other than…your father, ‘Old School’ Edmond Jackson!”

http://i263.photobucket.com/albums/ii147/ajcrible/Texas%20Wrestling/EdmondJackson.jpg

Jason Jackson’s jaw dropped nearly to the floor as Edmond Jackson walked past his son to shake hands with DeColt in the center of the ring. Jason took a step toward the ring before shaking his head and stomping off to the back like a spoiled child. “Thank you George, great to be here in Texas,” Edmond spoke evenly into the microphone, “and thank you Mark, for agreeing to be in our corner. I know we’ve had our differences in the past,” Edmond’s eyes twinkled and even the normally-stoic Krogan cracked a half-grin, ”but its good to be here in the best territory in the United States. Now tonight, Texas Outlaws, its time for an old-fashioned, old-school tail whippin’!” C

‘Gorgeous’ George DeColt/‘Old School’ Edmond Jackson w/Mark ‘The Lariat’ Krogan v. Mean Mark Green/Johnny Lawless

Billy’s Take: Clearly the appearance of Edmond Jackson caught Green and Lawless off-guard. They never really fully recovered from this as, in spite of controlling the middle part of the match, Green fell victim to an Eagle Claw from Edmond Jackson while George DeColt blasted the champion with a DeColt 45 to give the new team the victory.

After the match, Floyd ‘F-Bomb’ Bowman ran down to the ring to attack the winners. But before he reached the ring, he was intercepted by the Trailer Park Kid! The Kid rammed into Bowman, throwing F-Bomb off his intended course and right into a fan sitting near the aisle. Bowman screamed at the fan and then grabbed a nearby beer, smashing it into the face of the Kid. Green, Lawless, DeColt, Krogan, and Jackson all ran to the disturbance, DeColt, Krogan, and Jackson worked to pull the Kid off Bowman while Green and Lawless helped Bowman take cheap shots at the Kid. Finally, DeColt, Jackson, and the Kid disentangled themselves from the Outlaws and backed away. D+

No Disqualification: Chief Two Eagles v. Professor Nero

Billy’s Take: The crowd was ready for this one and quickly got behind the revenge-minded Chief. But it was Nero who took the early edge, following his normal underhanded tactics to gain an advantage. A thumb to the eye and a kick below the belt was all Nero needed to take control of the match. He laid into Chief, obviously relishing in the no-disqualification environment, with eye-rakes and forehead-bites. But Chief made a heroic comeback, blasting Nero nearly out of his shoes with a clothesline. Chief then ascended to the second rope and seemed poised to come off with his trademark Tomahawk Chop. But Warlord Agony and Warlord Pain slowly made their way to ringside, distracting the Indian Warrior. Chief went for a sunset flip to put down the Professor, but Warlord Agony tossed Nero his trusty cane. Professor Nero allowed himself to be pulled over, but as he fell he blasted Chief with his cane, snapping it in half. Chief was knocked out cold and Nero crawled over, unnecessarily pulling Chief’s tights, to make the cover for the one, two, three.

Slowly, Chief Two Eagles pulled himself from the mat, rubbing his head as Professor Nero and his Lords of War escaped backstage. Chief Two Eagles grabbed the microphone. “Professor Mycroft Nero, do you think that you ended our blood-feud tonight? Do you think that you won? You couldn’t be further from the truth. You angered a mighty Comanche warrior this eve and I will not rest until I’ve satisfied my thirst for your blood!” B+

“He broke what?” The Lone Star Stampeder asked the doctor incredulously while I tried to stifle a laugh. “No way. You’re screwing with me, right?” The doctor shook his head. Stampy let out a howl, doubling over while tears squeezed out of his eyes. I let loose as well, laughing from my belly and slapping Stampy on the back. Even the normally-stoic Professor Nero grinned and let out a small chuckle. “Well Mike,” Stampy turned to Mycroft ‘Mike’ Nero, “this one writes itself, don’t it?” Nero shrugged noncommittally.

Apparently in the pull-apart brawl tonight, Floyd ‘F-Bomb’ Bowman broke his finger. Yes, THAT finger.

I'm going to get a perfect score.

I know it.

And in a ideal world, Dean Davis would be George DeColt's partner.

But in this world in the sense of a major player?

Hmm...

Dan Stone.

4/6. Not quite perfect, but you bet ON the Executioners. Probably not a good idea. And I hated Dean Davis. He retired, so he's not even on the radar. And I would've LOVED to have Dan Stone, but he's locked up with CWF for, well probably forever.

I'm not too sure about mystery guy .. So i'll second Midnightnick's Dan Stone.

3/6. Like I said with Midnightnick, I would love Dan Stone, but he's probably not coming to Texas anytime soon.

5/6. I considered giving Jackson the win, but have plans for keeping him looking strong without beating a 7-foot tall, 400 pound behemoth.

Who Is...

http://i263.photobucket.com/albums/ii147/ajcrible/Texas%20Wrestling/EdmondJackson.jpg

Edmond Jackson?

Edmond Jackson is a twenty-two year veteran, having worked as a professional wrestler since debuting at 24 in 1956. In that time, Edmond Jackson has become one of the most well-respected members of the American independent scene. In 1976, Edmond got what was assumed to be his big break, getting called up to SWF. He was recently released by SWF, however, having put over Sid Streets in his final match there.

Although Edmond Jackson never won a title in SWF, he is the reigning CPW Champion and a former CPW Tag Team titleholder with Gabriel Peterson.

Edmond gained the moniker 'Old School' and has passed that legacy to his son, 'New School' Jason Jackson.

From the Notebook of Referee Billy

Every August, Erick Campbell, better known as the Lone Star Stampeder, throws a huge party for his talent. It is the one annual event at which kayfabe is not strictly observed (though the event is solely for wrestlers and their families - keeping outsiders out is quite important to Mr. Campbell). This year was quite an event.

As usual, the party broke into three informal camps. The first, composed primarily of Stampy, Mark Krogan, and the Jacksons (Edmond and Jason) told war stories. Mark regaled some of the rookies, who invariably flocked to this camp, with tales of riding in his Volvo from Florida to California and back. Stampy told and retold the story of buying TWL when it was on the verge of closing down. And Edmond Jackson is a natural storyteller, spinning tales of fighting Ares Aegaleus, Dale Christian, and "Wild" Bill Dennison.

The second camp comprised many of the young wrestlers, Johnny (Lawless) Boy Tucker holding hands with Shannon Kelly, Luis (Reyes) Montero lounging with a cold beer, Kenny (The Executioner) Maynard telling jokes and showing off his towering afro haircut, and Mike (Trailer Park Kid) Montana chain-smoking. Near this group, Floyd Bowman and Mark Green sat pounding beers and getting increasingly loud. Guess some things never change!

I was, however, part of the final group. Me and my wife, along with our eight-month old son Thom, George DeColt with his three kids (Steve, Alex, and Jack), and Drake McWade. Drake signed to wrestle a couple of dark matches for us and has impressed Stampy so far. Drake stood near us chatting while his twin seven-year old grandsons, Dallas and Dean, played with the DeColt boys. Tragic story, that one. Apparently Drake's son Doug was a promising amateur wrestler and, like his father, a competent brawler. A car accident killed young Doug McWade and his wife shortly after the birth of their sons, leaving the curmudgeonly Drake to raise the boys alone. Needless to say they already take after grandpa, as they beat the tar out of the DeColt boys despite the three-on-two handicap.

All in all, it was quite a picnic. I'm sure some of the boys are tending to hangovers this morning (looking right at you Floyd) but they were, on the whole, well-behaved. Just in time for one of our biggest events as Wanted Dead or Alive is just around the corner and Stampy will be pulling out all the stops for that one!

It looks like The Lone Star Stampeder wants to get all of the wrestlers on the final show before Wanted: Dead or Alive because TWL Cowboys & Indians has a stacked card. Here are the advertised matches:

The Lords of War (Warlord Agony/Warlord Pain) v. Painted Paranoia (Machete/Rampage)

The Lords of War are apparently upset at Painted Paranoia for costing them the TWL Tag Team titles last show. Will they get revenge on the always-dangerous painted duo?

TWL Tag Team Title Match: Team Texas (Archie Judge/Lone Star Stampeder) © v. 'Rugged' Rick Horn/Lee Wright

Newcomers Horn and Wright seek to make their mark on TWL in a big way, facing the champions in their first matches.

TWL Six-Man Title Match: The Executioners v. West Coast Warriors (Jason Jackson/Eruption/Tsunami) ©

The West Coast Warriors won the six-man belts last month but have yet to defend them. Will their first title defense be their undoing?

Crimson Serpent Cult v. Drake McWade/TimberWolf

Drake McWade is another TWL newcomer, albeit with a long, storied history of punishment. Will he and TimberWolf mesh well enough to unseat the ultra-experienced duo of Cobra and Viper?

Chief Two Eagles v. The Night Rider

Chief Two Eagles is on a roll, but may be distracted by Professor Nero, his archenemy, which could cost him against the always-dangerous Night Rider.

The Trailer Park Kid/‘Old School’ Edmond Jackson/‘Gorgeous’ George DeColt/Luis Reyes v. Professor Nero/Johnny Lawless/Mean Mark Green/Floyd ‘F-Bomb’ Bowman

This one promises mayhem as it marks a rare eight-man tag match. There is no love lost on either side as the Outlaws are trying to show why they control TWL while their opponents seek to keep Outlaw-Mania from running wild on the federation.

Quick Picks:

The Lords of War (Warlord Agony/Warlord Pain) v. Painted Paranoia (Machete/Rampage)

TWL Tag Team Title Match: Team Texas (Archie Judge/Lone Star Stampeder) © v. 'Rugged' Rick Horn/Lee Wright

Hello Hobo would YOU like to... what do you mean you have too much self-respect for that... you're a flipping hobo!"

Jackson took the microphone. <span style="color:#FF0000;">“Last show my...dad…”</span> Jason spat the last word out through clenched teeth, <span style="color:#FF0000;">“ruined everything. I was on the brink of taking out the resident giant of TWL and he spoiled it, just like he’s spoiled things my whole life. Like, I know what you’re thinking. He’s great, right? He’s been a wrestling superstar for over twenty years. Do you know what that makes him? Old. And it sure as ****doesn’t make him a good dad. Because while my dad was riding in the back of Mark Krogan’s Volvo swapping war stories, I was at home raising myself. And I, like, did an amazing job, didn’t I? So it wasn’t ‘Old School’ Edmond Jackson who shaped the Pride of Pasadena, the San Andreas Superstar, the Inglewood Intellectual. I did it. <em>Billy’s Take</em>: The Executioners really put up a fight in this one…oh wait, no they didn’t. The champions squashed the masked men, ending it when Double Disaster hit the Tidal Wave and Jason Jackson opportunistically locked in the California Dream clawhold to pick up the win and retain their titles.</p><p>

<span>http://i263.photobucket.com/albums/ii147/ajcrible/Texas%20Wrestling/TheLoneStarStampeder.jpg</span></p><p>

<strong>The Lone Star Stampeder </strong>came out to make a rare announcement. At Wanted: Dead or Alive, ‘New School’ Jason Jackson would get the chance to slay his giant in a singles match against Giant Grimsley. But this time, both men would have backup as each could chose two lumberjacks. <strong>C</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

<em>Billy’s Take</em>: The new tandem of McWade and TimberWolf just didn’t mesh well, resulting in a sloppy, if still entertaining contest. Unsurprisingly, the Crimson Serpent Cult picked up the win after Viper hit the Snakebite Roundhouse Kick on McWade.</p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong>Chief Two Eagles v. The Night Rider</strong></p><p>

<em>Billy’s Take</em>: Despite a less than stellar record here in TWL (three wins against four losses headed into this one), The Night Rider is among the most popular wrestlers around. That meant that the crowd was white-hot for this match, desperately cheering their hero, Chief Two Eagles, as he faced the six and a half foot tall, three hundred pound human wrecking machine known as the Night Rider. Back and forth the two went, Night Rider gaining a near-fall after a huge stalling suplex and Two Eagles barely missing a three count following a schoolboy rollup. In the end, Chief’s determination won out and the Indian Superstar connected with a Tomahawk Chop from the second rope to gain the victory. </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><p>The Texas Outlaws, including TWL Champion <strong>Johnny Lawless</strong>, <strong>Floyd ‘F-Bomb’ Bowman</strong> (with his left middle finger in a splint), and the enforcer <strong>Mean Mark Green</strong>, came out to the ring. Green took a microphone. <span style="color:#FF0000;">“All I’ve been hearin’ lately is that the Outlaws are dead. The Outlaws are buried. All because George DeColt pulled Edmond Jackson outta some two-bit ****house somewhere to throw us off our game. Well it worked. We didn’t expect Jackson, and that was a mistake. But it’s the only mistake we’re gonna make. ‘Cuz tonight we’re ready. Tonight we’ll show everyone what it means to do things Outlaw style.” </span>Bowman, obviously enraged at his mangled digit, thrust it in the air. <span style="color:#8B0000;">“See what they ****in’ did to me? <em>Billy’s Take</em>: This was a crazy contest, one in which I was just barely able to keep control. The match featured many interesting pairings, particularly Professor Nero and George DeColt who seemed hell-bent on destroying one another. Lawless and Reyes also paired off, brawling outside the ring and all-but eliminating themselves from the match. That left the combinations of Edmond Jackson and the Trailer Park Kid against Mean Mark Green and Floyd Bowman. In this instance, the veteran wiles of Green and Bowman won out after they connected with a Nowhere to Run on the Trailer Park Kid to pick up the win.</p><p>

<strong>The Lone Star Stampeder </strong>came out to make a final announcement. At Wanted: Dead or Alive, there would be a double main-event, both taking place inside a steel cage.
