[- SWF -]: "The Incessant Need for Supremacy"

Recommended Posts

It goes without saying Eisen, that I think what you did with your John Greed diary was exceptional. Your presentation is outstanding. Your storyline delivery epic. I am glad you've jumped over to SWF, because being a bit of a Cornellverse noob it allows me very easily and succinctly to get into your characters and your feuds from the get-go. Not only that, but writers like yourself and BigPapa42 are enormous inspirations for people like me trying to piece together the CV.

This has the potential to be CV Diary of the Year.

Awesome! Awesome! Awesome!

I can condense that for you: it's because he's Eisen-verse, and he's AWESOME. ;)

Take a moment to think about the coolest person that you know. He’s gathers a crowd by just showing up, instantly controls everyone’s attention despite seeming as if he doesn’t really ‘care’ about it (a sign of someone whose, supposedly, ‘cool’), and always seems to get the girl regardless of said girls marital status. He’s calm in the face of danger, confident while facing uncertainty, and shockingly comfortable when thrown into a high-pressure situations. Can you envision him; the coolest person you know? In the SWF, and the entire wrestling world for that matter, this is Jack Bruce.

A true ‘larger-than-life’ persona, Bruce is one of the handful of Supreme Superstars who actually garners a super-hero-like aura around him. Not in the sense that he actually holds himself as a crime-fighting fiend wearing tight spandex and hiding in the darkness; but rather, in the ‘untouchable’ perspective where it seems like he’s truly peerless (even when across from someone else that most consider to be an “Icon”).

Sporting his trademark blue bandana, and matching open collared blue army-cut shirt, Bruce is often likened to a reformed 80’s hair-medal rock star. He’s gritty, innately sexual, and always looking to ‘push the boundaries’ of what’s deemed acceptable; in a sense, he’s a true ‘Rock Star’ in name and practice. Whether it’s riding his Harley down the hallway of a local hotel or it’s wildly celebrating within the SWF masses (heavily drinking with co-eds at every turn), Jack Bruce is, easily, the MOST ‘Larger-than-life’ persona in ALL of Pro Wrestling history.

A true ‘Rock Legend’… without ever releasing a CD.

I am only two segments away from being able full-heartingly release the results for this project’s first Supreme TV broadcast. With that said, I’m still pushing for a release at some point this weekend. The earliest = Late Friday night. The latest = Sunday afternoon. So, I guess, you can expect to see it sometime this weekend overall. I’m excited to get this out there!

"Jack Bruce; Man Under Pressure" Storyline
:

Sensing that Jack Bruce was quickly becoming a Demi-GOD to those who follow the SWF, Richard Eisen found himself entangled in an overwhelming state of jealous rage. It was HE who started the SWF, and put in decades worth of work to round out it's development, BUT someone like Jack Bruce was still reaping all of the benefits of his 'hard-work'. Feeling as if HE should be adored just as Bruce is, growing tired of years of being labeled as 'The Devil', Mr. Eisen informed the, then, SWF Champion that his title reign would be a 'pressure-packed scenario'; proclaiming that, whenever Jack Bruce were to lose.... Someone would be fired.

Days, weeks, and months went by with Jack Bruce carrying the entire flock of SWF employees on his back; Every loss inspiring a dreaded firing from all over the board. Referees, Announcers, Supreme Superstars, no one was safe. In the end, during the tenure of his last championship run, 10 people were fired due to a range of losses (some legit and some in dubious forms). In a sense, There was MUCH pressure placed on Bruce's shoulders as he knew, and everyone knew, that his entire reign would be marred by inevitable losses (non-title matches counting in this fold) which would bring on unstoppable firings.

Mr. Eisen felt that such a scenario would eventually force Jack Bruce down an unfavorable road, making most come to despise the SWF Champion as they feel their lives were in his hands; however, funny enough, it actually brought everyone closer to Bruce; placing even more grandeur on his public persona as he was literally 'fighting for EVERYONE in the SWF'.

In the end, Jack Bruce's final loss came in December when he fell victim to the manipulative ways of the new, and current, SWF Champion; Eric Eisen. At that point, Richard Eisen made his final judgment; relaying that longtime announcer, and all-around beloved figure, Peter Michaels would be removed from the company due to Bruce's loss. The company mourned, Jack felt the sting of being the 'top draw', and Richard Eisen found a sense of sadistic humor in seeing the beloved Bruce fall victim to the very pressure he placed upon him.

Dude.... DUUUUDDDEEE... DUUUUDDDDDDDDEEE.... You simply MUST have Jack Bruce release an official CD. Hulk is to Hulk Hogan and the Wrestling Boot Band as Jack Bruce is to...?

Another great profile, E-V. They really help enhance things and bring us into your world.

Thank you, Angel.

I've come to really enjoy these random supreme superstar reviews as it helps me to better cement these characters instead of waiting until the show results. So, while it started off as something rather simple; it's turned into something great for me as a writer (plus as you said, for the reader)!

Hmmm... an interesting take on the Man Under Pressure. Not terrible. I do like the official one better, however.

I honestly didn't know there was an 'official' story as I haven't found one in the game. That said, the version I have is one that I thought long and hard with. Overall, It felt like a great storyline that would catipult Bruce to the most popular person in the company (as he is when you start the game).

Ha! That would be hilarious. There's a possibility that this may come to pass somewhere down the road; however, not until a scenario were to unfold. (One that I don't want to let out quite yet.) So, maybe.... just maybe. ;)

After reading the official 'Under Pressure' storyline, I've decided to go forward with that instead of my own creation. Why? It's more realistic to the actual Cornellverse. At first, I was hesitant; however, I'm becoming a huge fan of what was created previously for the angle (as it tells the story as to HOW Eric Eisen cheated his way into the SWF Championship). With that said, I edited the above post where I had Jack Bruce's supreme superstar review to reflect the change!

Thank you to those who brought the real storyline to my attention! It's much appreciated as it makes this project even more 'realistic' (if you can say that about a fictional world).

Angry Gilmore vs. Enforcer Roberts

I really like Roberts, but I can't look past Gilmore here.

Big Smack Scott, Frederique Antonio Garcia, Everest, and Paul Huntingdon vs. Captain Atomic, Jungle Lord, Lobster Warrior, and Robbie Retro

What a crazy match! Gotta go with Jungle Lord and Lobster Warrior.

Valiant & Jack Giedroyc © vs. The Amazing Bumfholes

I don't see a need to change them as Champions especially after they haven't held the belts that long.

Greg Black vs. Remo

Remo is one of my favourites and although Black has impressive stats, Remo is the man to move forward here.

Jack Bruce vs. Rich Money

Have to agree with the masses here and say this is a draw probably setting up an epic three way dance at the PPV.

It's been one hell of an incredible backstory so far mate. The writing is brilliant and I really can't wait for the first show.

Their stares, from across the ring, appear to carry a hefty sense of disdain; both men feeling as if they have the rightful claim as THE best in-ring competitor this company currently has; however, only one of them will be able to ‘cash in‘ on such a status.. All in all, as the sold-out Clover Field Arena buzzes with a feeling of grand anticipation, the atmosphere circulating around the ringside generates a strong blanket of high expectations.</span></p><p><span style="font-family:Gisha;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Gisha;"> Their altercation starts off rather aggressive in tone; neither man showing any signs of ‘waiting’ this one out. Instead of slowly gaining a personal ‘scouting report’ from their opponent, both competitors are seen intensely waging a slightly stiff battle straight out of the gate. While this isn’t that uncommon to a typical Supreme TV match-up, The technical prowess that is used is somewhat unique as these two are true masters at their approach. With no time, Suplexes are utilized, strong submission attempts are forged, and a number of borderline successful pinfall attempts make their rounds. More or less, their match-up carries a ‘I need this win; and I need it now” kind of mentality to it. </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Gisha;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Gisha;"> As the match continues to climb in length, a general ‘openness’ continues to develop between Roberts and Gilmore; neither man really breaking away from the pack what so ever. Just as it looks like one is in control, The other is able to manipulate the outcome of a certain maneuver; spinning the collective fortunes back in their favor. Simply, from a pure wrestling fan standpoint, these two carry out their best representation of a truly ‘balanced’ scenario; both coming across like are particularly deadly. With this in mind, there’s a subtle understanding forming with the viewer that either man could walk away with the win; all it would take was a bone-headed mistake, or a seizure of the moment, in which to bring a final bell toll. </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Gisha;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Gisha;"> All in all, with that notion in mind, that’s exactly what comes to pass…</span></p><p><span style="font-family:Gisha;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Gisha;"> As Enforcer Roberts attempts to lock in a standing cross-face chicken-wing, Angry Gilmore is seen breaking the hold with a simple back elbow to the side of the Enforcer’s head. The strike, while quite small, is packed with the trademark orneriness of one, Angry Gilmore, so as you can expect, it subdues his opponent rather quickly. With time, however, Gilmore is unable to fend off Roberts maneuver; ultimately falling victim to a lock-solid cross-face chicken-wing a matter of 30 seconds later. </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Gisha;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Gisha;"> With the Enforcer swinging Gilmore’s body around, attempting to apply more pressure in the process, all appears to be on the verge of an end. </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Gisha;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Gisha;"> That is until Gilmore is seen quickly running his feet up a nearby turnbuckle; desperately trying to break-free from his opponents submission hold. </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Gisha;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Gisha;"> He pushes off the top rope…</span></p><p><span style="font-family:Gisha;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Gisha;"> Slightly flips over Enforcer Robert’s right shoulder; however, the Enforcer does not break the submission hold; a fact that forces them both to land kind of awkward on the canvas below.</span></p><p><span style="font-family:Gisha;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Gisha;"> With the submission hold still locked in, Gilmore’s body is seen tangled over the top of Roberts; in a sense, executing a unique bridge-like maneuver in the process.</span></p><p><span style="font-family:Gisha;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Gisha;"> Within a matter of a few seconds, unable to break free from the move he had administered to start with, Enforcer Roberts ends up with his shoulders pinned firmly to the mat for a standard 3 count from SWF referee, Darren Smith. Upon this, The sold-out Clover Field Arena crowd erupts into a slightly above-average pop for the Canadian-born technition; showering him with a level of respect only shown to those who are deemed as ‘actual wrestlers’ versus ‘pure entertainers’. </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Gisha;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Gisha;"> Through all of this, you would think that Angry Gilmore would have lost the match due to his continual ornery demeanor; stomping his way out of the ring as he appears to be unhappy about something. Meanwhile, Enforcer Roberts follows in his footsteps as well; p*ssed at himself for allowing such a victory to be pulled from his grasp. More or less, despite win or loss, both men don’t really appear to be all that thrilled with the outcome (something that COULD be seen as shocking as it pertains to Gilmore; since he won; however, not THAT shocking to those who really know ‘Angry’ Gilmore. He’s unhappy 100% of the time; regardless of any outcome).</span></p><p><span style="font-family:Gisha;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Gisha;"> </span></p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><span style="font-family:Gisha;"><strong>Angry Gilmore defeats Enforcer Roberts in 12:22 via an awkward roll-up within a cross-face chicken-wing submission by Enforcer Roberts.</strong></span></p><p><span style="font-family:Gisha;"><strong> Grade: B-</strong></span></p></div><p></p><p></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> <span style="font-family:Gisha;"><strong>Duane Fry:</strong></span><span style="font-family:Gisha;"> What a finish! While individually, there are a few potential stand-outs within the fold; sadly, in this case, they are all delegated to the same “over-the-top’ mentality of PURE entertainment. </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Gisha;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Gisha;"> Not shocking in the slightest, the hodge-podge SWF fan base is heard showering the polarizing ‘Big Smack Scott’ with a continual chant rooted in a ‘you‘re not wanted back’ kind of tone. As you can guess, with Scott being infamous for his ’hot-headed’ approach to everything, such a chant only fueled his fire even more; pushing the controversial figure to respond through out the match. With that in mind, this is the overall scenario that seems to take hold of the match at hand; never seizing in the slightest as Scott grows closer, and closer, toward a total meltdown. </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Gisha;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Gisha;"> Meanwhile, these few narratives are pushed forward as well (showing themselves slightly as the match isn’t all that long to start with):</span></p><p><span style="font-family:Gisha;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Gisha;"> </span><span style="font-family:Gisha;"><strong>1) Everest is a big blob:</strong></span><span style="font-family:Gisha;"> Yes, hurtful, I know; but true. All he needed now was a collection of grease running across his expanded stomach in which to truly make him seem like blob that he is.</span></p><p><span style="font-family:Gisha;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Gisha;"> </span><span style="font-family:Gisha;"><strong>2) Lobster Warrior is peerless; in this match:</strong></span><span style="font-family:Gisha;"> While there are a few people who can actually put up a good fight in this match (ie: Jungle, Captain, Frederique, and Retro), Lobster Warrior appears to be on another level all together. Maybe it’s because he’s a veteran of the SWF-trade? Possibly. Either way, Warrior looks like exactly that through out the match; fusing his educated technical approach with a lovable, family-friendly, vibe resonating from his bright-red lobster costume. </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Gisha;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Gisha;"> In the end, as a massive wave of momentum forms in the corner of the babyfaces; Lobster Warrior is seen executing his signature “Shell Fish Shock” (Sit-down Chin-buster) square across the jaw of a staggering Frederique Antonio Garcia. Within seconds, as his fellow teammates stand guard within the squared circle, Lobster Warrior is seen ceremoniously tying a quasi-conscious Garcia with a hefty Texas bull-rope. The Bumfhole Brothers, most notably known for their accelerated ‘modern’ approach, have become somewhat of a ‘staple’ tag team in the SWF; becoming well-respected in their lengthy tenure as a pairing. Meanwhile, the SWF Tag Team Champions, Valiant and Jack Giedroyc, struggle to portray themselves as truly ‘legit’ due to the fact that their tenure is quite premature in comparison to those within the division itself. The reality of the situation, the obvious degrees of experience between the two teams, creates an ‘anything is possible’ environment as the SWF Tag Champs ‘newness’ brings on an uncertain vibe: Are they a cohesive unit? Can they compete as one? Or, are they just a ‘flavor of the week’; seconds away from losing the Tag straps they literally won a few weeks ago? While there are no real answers at this point, such a truth brings forth an anticipatory vibe within the ring ropes of the SWF squared circle. </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Gisha;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Gisha;"> Almost instantly, The youthful Bumfhole tandem is seen sparking the in-ring action into a feverish pace; speeding around the ring like a pinball looking for it’s next ‘hit-point’. Move after move, dive after dive, it looks like the experience-factor is favoring the accomplished brothers straight out of the gate. Meanwhile, the newly crowned SWF Tag Team Champions appear to be on their heels; still feeling a hefty dose of ‘growing pains’ as they are still quite ‘green’ as it pertains to their time together. With this in mind, it’s pretty easy to see that they may have bitten off more than they can chew; struggling to literally keep up with the beloved challengers.</span></p><p><span style="font-family:Gisha;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Gisha;"> With time, The SWF Tag Champs are able to slowly develop a stint of comradery; fusing as one; however, still holding an awkward feeling to their exchanges. In a sense, maybe that’s why their pairing seems even more impressive; as the two of them don’t really mesh all that amazingly-well; however, can still find a way to win as a unit. Overall, as the two of them continue to forge a state of trust with one another, Valiant and Jack are shown to be a true force to be reckoned with. </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Gisha;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Gisha;"> As time continues to climb, The action appears to slow down slightly; favoring the SWF Tag Champions. Sadly, for the Canadian-born superstar, his first test of 2010 comes with a heavy-dose of brutality; forced to square off against the widely feared Remo on this week’s episode of Supreme TV. While his stride is rather confident, beaming with an organic sense of charisma, the look upon his face tells the true story; a hint of uncertainty overtakes his focus as he knows that tonight’s match will be a difficult one. On the flip side, Remo explodes out of the back in his typical forceful manner; not posing for pictures, playing up to pyro, or really ‘enjoying’ the grandeur that comes with a Pro Wrestling broadcast. Instead, the Heavyweight brawler, is seen storming his way to the ring in a heavy-footed way; fixating his focus on the squared circle as if nothing else existed. It’s this obsessive focus, this brutal mentality, that inspires the waves of fear to overtake those who stand before him; fearful for their well being.</span></p><p><span style="font-family:Gisha;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Gisha;"> The bell hasn’t even rung yet and Remo is already clubbing his opponent square to the canvas; viciously pounding him into the ground as if he were a railroad stake. Black, doing his best to try to defend himself, is quickly floored continually; muscled around the squared circle in an extremely stiff manner. With time, Black actually finds a second or two to attempt a maneuver of his own; however, none of them prove to be successful. Instead, we all witness the sight of Remo simply shoving Black off as if he were a pesky fly in his way. This narrative is certainly evident as black is seen taking to the air, leaping off the top rope with a missile-drop kick from the corner of the ring. As he comes to where he could connect with his opponents face, Remo is seen easily shoving him out of the way; planting him square on the canvas below with a single slam. More or less, things aren’t looking good for Greg Black; not in the slightest.</span></p><p><span style="font-family:Gisha;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Gisha;"> Knowing that he cannot keep up with Remo’s ‘ground and pound’ approach, Greg continues to ‘take flight’ as much as possible; abiding by his “Aerial Ambassador” persona quite well. Fast, small, strikes are followed up by high-risk/high-reward aerial spots; an approach that proves to be pretty beneficial for the former “high concept” member. However, with time, such an in-ring style proves to be quite deadly; leaning more heavily on the ‘high risk’ scenario than ‘high-reward’. </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Gisha;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Gisha;"> As Greg Black leaps from the top rope, attempting to land another top rope strike, Remo is seen shrugging off his stagger; latching onto the “Aerial Ambassador” and slamming him violently into the canvas with a ring-shaking Spinebuster. The impact is so strong, so physically debilitating, that it looks like Black has literally encountered a ‘car crash’ of sorts. His body, motionless, as his head dangles loosely off to the side (The only thing missing is his tongue sticking out in a comical manner).</span></p><p><span style="font-family:Gisha;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Gisha;"> Greg Black never has the chance to regain his composure following such a monumental Spinebuster as Remo is seen forcibly pulling the former SWF Tag Champion to his feet. With his eyes practically in the back of his head, and his full body weight being held up by Remo, Black is quickly ‘put out of his misery’ (if you can call it that) shortly there after as Remo is seen planting his opponent square onto the canvas with his signature “Destroyer” (Release Pump-Handle Slam). Again, the ring practically shakes with immense force as the intense heavyweight forcibly pins his opponent; all the while shoving his forearm across the throat of Black. Adding insult to injury. </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Gisha;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Gisha;"> Just as it came together, it ends in brutal fashion. Remo, known for his ‘ground and pound‘ mentality, has violently defeated, yet, another individual. While he may not be flashy, carry an ‘over-the-top gimmick’, or live up to the entertainment aspect of the ‘sport’, Remo is, hands down, one of THE most deadliest fighters this industry has ever seen. He’s practically unstoppable when his mind is focused and ready for action. With that in mind, It comes as no surprise that the newly cemented singles star in “The Aerial Ambassador” Greg Black really had no chance at walking away with a victory tonight. While he’s talented in his own right, and could continue forth as a great singles star at some point, right here, right now… He’s not on the same level as Remo. It’s as simple as that.</span></p><p><span style="font-family:Gisha;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Gisha;"> </span></p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><span style="font-family:Gisha;"><strong>Remo defeats Greg Black in 9:51 via a “Destroyer” (Release Pump-Handle Slam).</strong></span></p><p><span style="font-family:Gisha;"><strong> Grade: B</strong></span></p></div><p></p><p></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> <span style="font-family:Gisha;"><strong>Duane Fry:</strong></span><span style="font-family:Gisha;"> Duh… Duh… Duh… And another one bites the dust!</span></p><p><span style="font-family:Gisha;"> </span><span style="font-family:Gisha;"><strong>Ana Garcia:</strong></span><span style="font-family:Gisha;"> You really have to hand it to Greg Black, though. No one expected him to win tonight; but, he put forth one hell of an effort. Maybe, at some point, he’ll be able to ‘hang’ with the likes of Remo but, right now, I just don’t see that happening.</span></p><p><span style="font-family:Gisha;"> </span><span style="font-family:Gisha;"><strong>Duane Fry:</strong></span><span style="font-family:Gisha;"> Very true. Jack Bruce, hell-bent on the notion that Rich Money was the ‘Mystery Man’ behind his ‘pressure-based’ situations, practically severed the head of “Money Man” during said match-up; slamming an unforgiving steel chair repeatedly across the head of the polarizing Money. With that in mind, there was a palpable state of anticipation roaring through out the “Clover Field” Arena as many question whether or not Jack Bruce can ‘do it again’; trying to defeat Rich Money twice in under a month’s time. </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Gisha;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Gisha;"> That would be hard enough, but, adding the ‘master manipulator’ to the fold makes it down right impossible. Eric Eisen, the current SWF Champion and legit ‘mystery man’ in Bruce’s ‘pressure-based’ scenario, has risen out of the ashes of his former self; adding a level of continual cheating to his arsenal. Overall, with the youngest Eisen now at the helm of tonight’s main event (as a special guest referee), it’s almost certain that SOMETHING is bound to happen. </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Gisha;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Gisha;"> From the very start, Eric Eisen makes his presence known much like stubborn little brat would; constantly causing trouble at every turn. This, in lies, the true genius behind the “Supremacist” persona as he’s often labeled as exactly that: A brat, a punk, and always unafraid to manipulate anyone, or any situation, in which to further his own ‘legacy’. While his greatest highlights often come with a hint of dubious-nature, there’s one thing that can’t be denied: He knows, exactly, how to con his way ‘to the top’.</span></p><p><span style="font-family:Gisha;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Gisha;"> As expected, Rich Money came straight out of the gate like a man obsessed; fixated on gaining revenge for his violent end only a few weeks ago. His mannerisms are quite intense, his strikes uncharacteristically stiff, as he zeros in on administering a ‘beat-down’ capable of repaying the favor. It also helped that Eric Eisen appears to favorite the “Money man” straight away; then again, it’s most likely less about favoring Rich Money and more about his hatred of the immensely popular Jack Bruce. Needless to say, there appears to be a narrative forming where it seems that Eisen is firmly against allowing the former Champion to come away with a big victory tonight; cementing himself as the new #1 contender if such a win could take place. </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Gisha;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Gisha;"> Every pinfall Bruce attempts is followed by an extremely, if not molasses like, pinfall count from the special guest referee, and SWF Champion, Eric Eisen. Catching on to such a scenario, the SWF faithfuls begin to grow rather tired of Eisen’s favoritism; booing him wildly after every slowed pinfall attempt. At one point, infuriated by such a blatantly cheap approach by Eisen, Bruce is seen stepping into the special guest referees face; sparking more heat between the two of them. In the end, Eisen practically begs Bruce to ‘hit him’ as he knows it would end in an instant DQ in favor of Rich Money. That said, as Bruce spins around, trying to deter his focus from Eisen back toward his opponent, Money is seen taking advantage of the scenario at hand; laying out Bruce with a low-blow followed by a snap DDT on the hunched over ‘Rock Star’. As you can guess, this wasn’t warmly received by the sold-out “Clover Fields” Arena.</span></p><p><span style="font-family:Gisha;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Gisha;"> As the match continues to grow toward it’s inevitable, chaotic, end; It appears that either man could really come away with the victory. While their action was rather slow in build, at this point it’s easy to see that such an approach was well thought out. By this point, everything seems at a feverish pace as both men are finally hitting their stride; doing their absolute best in hopes of putting their opponent away for good. For one man… This situation appears to come to pass shortly there after…</span></p><p><span style="font-family:Gisha;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Gisha;"> After 16 minutes of back-and-forth, slow-building action, we now have come to the moment we’ve all been waiting for; Judgment. </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Gisha;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Gisha;"> It’s obvious, by this point, that Jack Bruce has officially ushered in a whole new ‘level’; rising past his typical greatness in which to deliver an amazing approach that only SOME are ever able to generate. It feels like he’s become unstoppable as the former SWF Champion bounces off of the ring ropes like a man possessed; all leading toward the fact that it appears that he’s on the verge of becoming the new #1 Contender to a championship belt he once carried for 9 straight months.</span></p><p><span style="font-family:Gisha;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Gisha;"> Jack hit’s the ropes… High Cross body block!</span></p><p><span style="font-family:Gisha;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Gisha;"> Hits them again… an elevated drop-kick to the jaw of Money.</span></p><p><span style="font-family:Gisha;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Gisha;"> Hits them a final time… An overhead, flipping, neckbreaker on a staggering Money.</span></p><p><span style="font-family:Gisha;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Gisha;"> The “Clover Field” arena is in a state of awe; cheering on their beloved Bruce as if he were on the verge of winning the SWF Championship itself. Meanwhile, the REAL champion, Eric Eisen, watches in the corner of the ring; anxiously stammering as it looks like he’s frantically searching the arena for something. </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Gisha;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Gisha;"> With Money slowly gathering back to his feet, staggering back upright, Jack Bruce quickly slides in ‘for the kill’… Locking him up… And executing his signature “New York Minute” (Leg hook lifting Reverse STO) square in the middle of the ring. As they both crash to the canvas in a thunderous fashion, camera flashes are seen all around the ringside area. What follows is a state of euphoria… Jack Bruce is on his way!!</span></p><p><span style="font-family:Gisha;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Gisha;"> At least, So we thought…</span></p><p><span style="font-family:Gisha;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Gisha;"> Just as they make impact, Eric Eisen is seen motioning toward the backstage area; frantically waving his arms like an airport trafficker in need of reeling in an inbound plane. </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Gisha;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Gisha;"> Just then the lights go off, and then back on, and then off again, then back on, and then off for a final time…</span></p><p><span style="font-family:Gisha;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Gisha;"> Then a whole slew of pyro is seen practically exploding around the entrance ramp way; filling the thick darkness with a barrage of light that appears to look more like a war zone than a wrestling event. Fire, pyro, and colorful lights, all shine around the ramp continuously for close to 15 seconds as it seems that absolute chaos has unfolded!</span></p><p><span style="font-family:Gisha;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Gisha;"> When the lights come back up, and everything goes back to normal (outside of the heavy level of smoke that has originated from the pyro itself), Jack Bruce is seen upright; looking at the ramp way as if he were expecting the arrival of someone. Meanwhile, Rich Money is still laying face down on the canvas; possibly out cold from Bruce’s signature “New York Minute”.</span></p><p><span style="font-family:Gisha;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Gisha;"> As Bruce spins back around, aware that his focus is better served on his opponent, Eisen strikes…</span></p><p><span style="font-family:Gisha;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Gisha;"> BAM!!!</span></p><p><span style="font-family:Gisha;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Gisha;"> “The Supremacy” (Forced Falling Knee-Strike)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!</span></p><p><span style="font-family:Gisha;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Gisha;"> The crowd instantly boos like crazy as Jack Bruce’s body goes completely limp; laying face down, next to Rich Money, as his mind quickly slips toward the subconscious unknown. Following impact, Eisen is seen slowly raising back to his feet in a “I’m the sh*t” kind of manner; throwing his arms out at the side as he holds a smug little smirk upon his face. Soon there after, Eisen is seen counting on his fingers in rapid succession; counting to 10 in a way unseen before due to it’s rapid nature. </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Gisha;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Gisha;"> 10 seconds is counted in, realistically, 4 seconds… However, Eric Eisen IS the ‘law’ as it pertains to the Main Event. So, with that in mind, his decision is final; regardless of it’s controversy. </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Gisha;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Gisha;"> And that’s exactly what unfolds…</span></p><p><span style="font-family:Gisha;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Gisha;"> With the sold-out “Clover Field” crowd in a state of shock, Eric is seen instantly nabbing his SWF Championship from the nearby ring announcer; whispering in his ear as he is, practically, already one foot out of the squared circle. All in all, As the SWF Champion is seen smugly back peddling up the ramp way, overtly happy with his ‘master plan’, the nearby ring announcer gets onto the mic and relays the shocking message that tonight’s Main Event is being called a ‘DRAW’ due to a double-10-count finish. As you guessed, this instantly inspires the crowd to boo like crazy; something that Eric Eisen seems to relish within.</span></p><p><span style="font-family:Gisha;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Gisha;"> </span></p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><span style="font-family:Gisha;"><strong>DRAW due to a double-10-count by special guest referee, Eric Eisen.</strong></span></p><p><span style="font-family:Gisha;"><strong> Grade: B+</strong></span></p></div><p></p><p></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> <span style="font-family:Gisha;"><strong>Ana Garcia:</strong></span><span style="font-family:Gisha;"> What? <p>I have to say if Big Smack Scott does not go on a Goldberg like winning streak you may lose me as a reader! <span style="color:#FFFFFF;">(Just a joke)</span></p><p> </p><p>

Great show as always, best part for me was the Christian Faith promo.</p>

<p>Finally caught up after my week long absence ! </p><p> </p><p>

Great first show EV. You took the time to really set the tone for every main eventer, they already all feel unique which is one key point of a good sports entertainement promotion in my opinion.</p>

Just can't get into him really due to his low, low, stats and all around Jack-a$$ mentality. ha.</p><p> </p><p> As for the Faith promo, thank you! So, as you can expect, it's going to be a lot of work going forward. With that said, as you said, it feels more SE'like in that way. </p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="ampulator" data-cite="ampulator" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="28511" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Good first show.</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Thank you, AMP! <p>Strong start with the first show. I'm already enjoying the initial characterisations, particularly of Eric Eisen whose spoilt douche-ery was really put into focus - gotta love the abuse of power by ordering techs to sabotage the main event. Beyond that, Khoklov obviously stood out as you potrayed a merciless Russian war-machine-of-a-monster to great effect. I have to say though, given the amount Faith has been around the block, expecting to seal the match with an extended hand was rather naive... I'm putting it down to being groggy from inhaling exhaust fumes from his bike after tearing into the arena. <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p>

Other than that, I love the immersive detail so far. It'll be quite a feat to keep that level and quality of work going.</p><p> </p><p>

Oh and nice touch with the Gilmore/Roberts finish, very Bret/Austin.</p>

For me, I'm just as much focused on creating a culture as I am about booking a show. Does that make sense? When I write an SWF show, I want the reader to not only know (and be able to visualize) each and every character in their own right; but also, be able to generate what they expect the SWF to look/feel/smell/taste like. I know that sounds pretty lofty, but, it's my main focus as a writer; to be all-inclusive as it pertains to really fleshing out the Cornellverse (and more closely the SWF and the characters/people within it). </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"> Again, a lofty challenge as a writer... He's a man of principal; a honorable fighter who has made a name for himself over 3 decades with a peerless work-ethic that best personifies him. As he said before doing so, "where he comes from" people don't speak at length about what they're going to do; they do it. He extended his hand outward in which to solidify the match; trusting that his status, his legacy, would stand for itself. In a way, He doesn't fear anyone, or anything, after seeing 'everything there is to see in the SWF' & with that comes complete 'power'. Not in the "i can lift a car over my head" manner but more in the "I am solidified in myself & know that I am respected". Does this make sense?</span></p><p><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"> He's a simple man with a simple approach: An honorable fighter based upon 'respect' (What he has gained over the last 3 decades and what he extends to others). It's partly being comfortable, and partly being slightly arrogant in a way as he believes that EVERYONE will show him respect for his years of tireless service, but all in all... He isn't changing for anyone; not after this long. </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"> So, Yea... Marat used this moment to beat up Faith instead of shaking his hand; the mark of a man who has little 'respect' for the man before him (Faith). So, now, with that in mind, It shows Christian Faith what he's truly dealing with; a monster who will stop at nothing and will do whatever he feels... when he feels it. </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"> Now... His engine is revved and ready to go... </span><img alt=";)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/wink.png.686f06e511ee1fbf6bdc7d82f6831e53.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>

Really, really enjoyed the first show my friend. The characters are really well done and I think you are coming into your own with the really big C-Verse names.

Excellent start, can't wait for show #2 :D

His tone was quite dismissive; opening a theoretical creaking door in which to display his distrust with my nepotistic rise. While I was not physically present at the time, I’ve been informed of Jack’s bubbling fervor; seeping it’s ugly head outward in , what I best describe as, a ‘childish outburst’. What Mr. Bruce doesn’t understand is:
He is popular, and somewhat of a ‘modern day legend’, because MY FATHER made it so.
Without my father’s vision, Jack would be struggling on the independent circuit; another no-namer who ‘could have been great’.

Here in lies the difficulty with our industry. Men who feel they are ‘warranted’ the top spot due to their unrivaled accomplishments, and general strong reaction from the organizations fans, forget who realistically PUT THEM in this place of success. Unlike Mixed-Martial Arts, Champions are not won based upon legit ‘skill’. They are handed over to another based upon the ‘Pyramid System’: Can they draw, can they entertain, and do they look the part? It’s as simple as that.

‘Legends’ are not discovered…

They are spawned.

Jack Bruce, or better yet the ‘persona’ of Jack Bruce, was spawned by my Father.

He may have been unhappy about being forced to ’DRAW’ with fellow Main Eventer, Rich Money; but in reality, I’m not here to massage his misguided ego. Just as fast as he was built to the top, We can take all of that away with a simple snap of a finger. In a sense, in the “Land of Supreme”, it’s the ’suits’ that are GOD; not the entertainers.

We [The Eisen Family] decide who jumps; and how high.

When we say ’do the job’, You will do the job.

… or else…

We’ll develop a new mega-star who will.

In-game Scenario:

Jack Bruce attempted to force-change the ending of the Main Event to make him 'look better'. While he's a top SWF superstar, and THE most over entertainer on the roster, it was decided to go ahead with a 'DRAW' ending; versus giving into his demand. Here are the details from an in-game perspective:

Jack Bruce's morale went down; He now is 'annoyed' with the way things are going.
